The place is decorated very beautifully. There are a lot of Moon photos. Use fresh orchids. Have a fever test before entering the hotel too. Very good service staff. The music is played by Violet because it sounds good in the atmosphere too.

We did not stay in the hotel, but decided to go to the restaurant for a special occasion.

Expensive - for sure - but worth every cent.

The staff was extremely friendly and we were able to discover that Thais also grow wine! Good match - local wine and local food!

Enjoyed the ride with the shuttle boat from the hotel to the other side of the river.
They also had a dinner show going on inside with kick boxing and traditional dance.
But we preferred to enjoy the view outside.

Maybe it would be a good idea for the management to schedule a performance upside as well ...

Answer: Standing 1 from the legendary story of Thailand's legendary hotel is something that no one can deny. But if looking deep in details The continuation of service quality, standards of attention From basic work From the entrance to the restaurant, rooms, afternoon tea menu, etc. All are the answers to this hotel.

A beautiful place and maybe the best hotel in bangkok. I can recommend the Sunday Brunch (you need a reservation). Then only place in bangkok where you get a better brunch is the Sukothai Hotel. And its only a little bit better.

If you want to go shopping, you even don't have to leave the hotel. There are plenty of vendors. We bought our new Rimowa here.

The hotel is old but in perfect condition.

Amazing place! The gentleman working on the 3rd floor gave us something incredible. I wouldn't call it service because it was with so much passion. I will never forget this experience and this stay. Thank you

Quite expensive, but food was delicious and service was very good. Nice view of the river from anywhere in the restaurant especially at night. The free flow wine is the best way to go for drinks, because it includes soft drinks as well as some very nice wines.

One of the most beautifully historic hotels in the world! Very, very older worked, but at the same time, modern & sumptuous! The warm humid weather adds the atmosphere of the first 15 minutes of an Agatha Christie movie!! A number of famous authors stayed and wrote there, including James A Michener, Graham Greene, William Golding and Normal Mailer. Charles & Di are also on the guest list of rich & famous. Get there folks!

I went to my friend's wedding.

I went to my friend's wedding.
The venue was large, and there were so many flower arrangements and dishes.

Because the car stops are narrow, it will be waiting for you to turn the car after the banquet and bridal
It can not be helped, but it takes quite some time.

Accommodation, restaurant use, bridal,
No matter what purpose you are in, you will not be disappointed.

Of course it costs only that much
It is a service commensurate with that.

I have been living in Thailand for many years now and again and again come to the terrace for coffee and cake. There is no more reasonable cake anymore. Coffee of very poor quality. It is a shame it was the first time I was there in 1980 and always satisfied.

It is undoubtedly one of the great hotels. Wonderful location, exterior and interior. Great staff, very friendly. Facilities very well maintained. Comes with a price tag though. I especially recommend having tea at the author's lounge which is an amazing experience. Beautifully prepared foods, great tea and a unique atmosphere. Dress well, if you do not want to stand out.

Stayed here many times over last 5 years. I think this is the most classy and down to every details hotel service in the world. All tje other ultra luxury hotels I stayed at, should learn from MOBKK. If you are not a royal, they will make you feel as though you are, yet you will feel at home, relax, cosy. They just read your mind and mood and needs, and make everything be perfect in a seamless way.

Simply the best hotel in Bangkok. It's history and the elegant colonial look gives you a feeling of the past when travelers, writers would meet on this romantic hotel on the Chaopraya river.

Orientel is always a thrill. This time only the lobby was a meeting point. Even waiting at the Oriental is special ... let alone a drinking a sunset proofed coctail at the terras at sundown. The Oriental takes you by the hand to enter a different world.
The Oriental restaurant at the other side of the river - Sala Rim Naam - must be on your bucket list too. I myself prefer to sit on the terras, rather than to sit inside. It is a great pleasure to watch the life on the river. Food is excellent.

We went there just for drink and river view. The place it self is beautiful, however, from the garden there is no river view, unless you go futher, where is like 50C I guess even in the night. Well, and its extremly expensive. We paid about 20e for coffe and cake or simple coctail and cake. Plus I hate the fact that they always have to hide the fact that "tax and service fee" is not included.

Hard to say something that hasn't been already said about the best hotel in Bangkok. We tried most of the restaurants and they all were spotless, from food to service. Author Lounge afternoon tea is great but you really should book in advance.
