I just Love Makro Ottery, helpful and friendly staff

Found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. Queues to pay were too long so I did not buy anything.

The price of their products is a little bit expensive

its got what you need, but reason for lowering one star is because they are overcrowded with merchandisers and you can never shop in peace

As usual, floor assistants standing having group social discussions instead of assisting customers

Time for this store to be revamped to look less like a warehouse and more like a shop, like the other Makro's

Wide selection of goods , but need to get solution for for long line at tills.

Shopping at the store is always a good experience. Very busy at times, especially week-ends. But, variety is good, prices are competitive. Staff tend to be minding their own business and could perhaps show more customer interest. Otherwise, I'll be back. Especially when the store has specials available. Visit here in November for Black Friday and you will walk away with super deals.

Shop is enormous with sufficient parking space. Security guards on with 24/7. Parking for disabled as well as a access ramp for the disabled. Different departments. Mostly for bulk buyers.

Place is an absolute mad house! Parking is a nightmare and trying to get in and out is also a nightmare. Make sure you go there during the week rather.

Goods are easily accessible, and staff are eager to assist.

Great for certain deals. A lot of rippoffs posing as deals. Security check at exit is pointless.

Standing in a line for 3/4 of an hour just for two items on Sunday morning. Till staff couldn't even help me by audio visual section, busy with there cell phone . I left the two items and walked out. What a waiste of my damn time.

I personally don't like such huge shopping warehouses. That said, the service was pretty good.

One stop store that has parking for the handicapped and entrance for handicapped as well. Friendly and helpful staff.

Bought a couple of things from this shop. How ever when something is out of stock and u take a rain check they never seem to get back to you... Very poor service

Very well organised - parking, tills and different departments. Prices are very good and staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommends for a nice and safe shopping experience.

It is so convenient to shop in bulk everything you need under one roof

The staff is not equally helpful, which is sad because the bad apples give the guys who are excellent at their jobs a bad reputation.

Such a long queue, just left without buying anything! And the prices aren't even cheap, for a bulk pack of fancy feast it comes up to more per can then if you buy from Woolworths!

Store is in need of a refresh. Queues always slow and congested.

Had a awesome experience at Marko staff was friendly and helpful especially the guy that works with the LG electronics

I love to do my shopping there because they're convened to parking area is safe for any vehicle

Busy, service is good. Don't forget the less than ten items aisle.

It has a lot of options in terms of stock, queues are not that bad because its a small store I have ever came across

Update May 2018:
Went to makro in Milnerton. The Ottery one is nothing compared to that store. The look, feel and experience is incomparable. This store is in need of a serious upgrade.

Helpful for the request I had regarding an order. Tried to source my product but after many attempts couldn't locate it, even at their head office.

Excellent place for bulk shopping, but most of the shopping trollies doesn't ride properly, needs maintenance

Very helpful staff and friendly cahiers, security at the door can be frustrating especially when they squash your food

Grate big and clean very helpful staff and friendly

Great range of products, but no customer service.
Have to look for assistant in every department expect in the electronic / TV section.
And the assistants are never around
