Fun place to go with a big group. They have a wide variety of drinks, usually a solid selection of ipas and room for bocce ball. Only thing it that when it gets crowded the service goes way down. My coworker's credit card was mistaken with another customer's before

Bocce ball and cocktail! I've been coming here for year and love this place for the Bocce Ball as a it is a lot of fun with friends, especially while drinking cocktails :3 Cocktails are great and the bartenders are quite skilled and friendly. I've had a couple of the drinks mismade by bartenders in training, but they are very friendly about remaking them if you bring it to the attention to one of the more seasoned bartenders. Great place to spend the night or get ready for a night at the fox theater.

Great spot. Indoor bocce is great but there ends up being lots of dust. Good beer selection, and the food is superb. The Braised Oxtail Sandwich is a must-have.

Make Westing is a very cool, hip bar on Telegraph in Oakland. They have a solid selection of local beers on tap as well as a variety of specialty cocktails. Prices are excellent (compared to SF) as I enjoyed beer at only $4 a pint. The interior is spacious and there are a number of tables although it does get crowded. Perhaps the biggest draw is the 2 indoor bocce ball courts in the back. Although I prefer my bocce outside, it was fun to play indoors next to everyone else in the bar and (almost) within shouting distance of the bartender.

Fun bar with two bocce ball courts to mess around on. Perfect location in Oakland right by the Fox theatre and close to the Bart station. Drinks and beer choices are pretty good. Can get a little crowded and lines to get a drink can get long.

Local hipster joint with some pretty amazing food (try the egg and bacon sandwich) and a decent beer/cocktail selection. I'm giving it 4 stars for the food and drinks, not for the pretentious hipsters who can always be found there.

Drinks and bartenders ok plus decent bar food. They have two indoor bocce courts that are in terrible shape, but still fun to play on while drinking.

Loved this spot. Big, open space, although a bit busy at the bar. Bartenders were friendly just slammed and working to keep all the thirsty humans happy.

Seems lively and fun, with tons of great cocktails to choose from. Outside seating is a plus, not to mention a good looking (smallish) menu of apps and sandwiches, etc. I got a sandwich and it was plenty of food for dinner. A good number of beer, and a great location in Oakland.

Great Downtown Oakland staple. Good beers and perfect proximity to the Fox Theatre.
