Great place to grab a drink on the weekend or even after work on the weekdays. Can get a little rowdy on first Friday and has the occasional douche but altogether a good place. Most Bartenders can make a good cocktail but I have definitely been burned on a basic drink so when you find a good bartender stay with that one

What a great stop off after a long day. We had some drinks and food. It was unclear that we had to stand and go to the bar to be served, verses sitting at the table. Place was old but clean. If I am in that area again, I would stop in!

Nice easy after work drinks spot. Loved the happy hour specials. Go Moscow Mule!!

The Bart Car is delicious and not too heavy. Bocce is fun too.

The food is freaking unreal! Chicken Sandwiches are so damn good. I love that the kitchen is visible from some of the tables. Popcorn was overrated in my opinion but as incredible as the Brussels Sprouts were paired with the chicken sandwiches, nobody needed popcorn anyhow. Wide selection of drinks and fun time playing bocce indoors. The photo booth adds a nostalgic twist, and for $5 you can squeeze four adults in at the same time and within a minute to photo strips come out. Overall an excellent evening!

Fancy cocktails and cheap beer. They have 2 bocce courts inside. It's almost always busy and can get loud.

Solid cocktails and indoor bocce ball. Don't go during First Friday unless you're ready to give bartenders some emotional support.

My go to spot in this neighborhood. Good drinks, fun space and some outdoor seating, and bocce ball for free!

I got... a green drink. Cucumber something. It was good. Very "Oakland Chic". White people love the bocce! I thoroughly enjoyed the music selection.

Drinks were good and at $8 a pop, what a steal. The cucumber gimlets were probably one of the best I've ever had, potent and flavorful in the right ways. They even offer an additional $2 discount on cocktails during happy hour. I need to visit Oakland more often.

The Brussels sprouts were good, but seemed like I got one order worth split in three when I ordered three of them, and the bocci is fun if you like uneven courts (it was my first time playing so I didn't mind seemed like it made it more fun) the drinks were a little expensive, but that's what you get in downtown Oakland now right?

This is a great bar to bring friends. The music is not too loud. Plenty of chair/tables. and they have some games! Lots of choices of adult beverage.

Lively bar with a friendly staff, eclectic clientele, and a nice crafted cocktail menu. Great bar bites as well. Definitely recommend this bar before or after a show at the fox or to keep a vibe going. Great bar.

It's a fun bar with two indoor bocce lanes. What's not to like!? The vibe is very laid back and I've always had great service here.

Drinks here are fantastic (and $1 off at happy hour from 4-6pm). Oh and the food here...delicious! Oxtail sandwich is the best! This is by far our favorite bar!! (Which is saying a lot since we live in SF)

DUCK CONFIT SANDWICH.

Believe it. The sandwich was packed with tender duck. Fresh bread. Good proportion of ingredients. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

The infused popcorn is also good! Especially when you're enjoying the awesome happy hour specials!!

Great drinks. Always busy. Feels like a dive bar, just bigger with better drinks. Great for groups or if you're going to a show at the Fox.

A misunderstanding...

Was tired after a 24 hour shift and ordered one beer. The manager had seen me only when fully alert. Though he ran a tab without me asking, and I closed out after one drink (perhaps this wasn't enough of a purchase or the buck which is 20% on $5 wasn't acceptable)-when I saw come in I decided to order another, something special but the manager told good employees not to serve me anything further at 11 pm! This was based on a total misread of me being tired from a real job coding in the cities, working with other countries and time zones-versus intoxication. There job is a physical job, they are always alert. Coding at a PC is different, you can take naps. I am surprised this happened after actually several (7) years of patronage. They were used to seeing me out to party. This is why I'm moving from Oakland, stuff like this-the "bro" assumptions not in favor but stereotyped as unable to make my own decisions. SF is kind of more upscale! Oakland these places never treat me (the only India guy in the place at the time) like a boss. The Irish in Vegas are so much more confident as they are more real Irishman and know my people there in the Homeland... One of the employees just came out said he was new and remembered me from Analog, not sure what the manager was thinking. In all these years I was never intoxicated here. Reality: retaliation for only buying a beer. So they are actually encouraging excess drinking. Like when he didn't ask if I wanted to merely purchase a beer/close out. Wanted me to run a tab. 8/8 manager, tall red beard. So it's a greedy Manipulation to spend and drink more. McMullen's Vegas is nicer people. I will revise this review depending on my next experience! Usually positive

Bocce is fun. Always a bit busy before shows at the fox but great spot for good drinks and solid food.

Fun Oakland spot with great drinks, good beers on tap and tasty bar bites. $2 off all cocktails during happy hour. Very friendly bartenders and a large expansive space where you can usually find seating available. Rarely uncomfortably crowded other than the infrequent occasion in which the bar happens to be hosting a event.

I came here for a Warriors game and enjoyed myself. We were able to get a much-coveted table and a view of the large projection screen. The cocktails albeit pricey were excellent. I enjoyed the "Buffala Negra" and popcorn and the chicken sandwich. I look forward to coming back.

Great cocktails and some small bites. The bocce ball court is a fun bonus but the space is big and feels a little dark and cold.

I felt very at-home and everything was just...scrumptious. We had 4 or 5 different servers attend to us at each point in the meal who were all pleasant, kindly asking if we sought any suggestions. I'll pass this one on: cocktail: yacht club- refreshing

This was a fun spot -- I especially enjoyed the Penultimate, a super tasty cocktail with gin, lime, St. Germaine, green chartreuse and prosecco. For a Saturday night, it wasn't packed shoulder to shoulder so that I could actually hear my friends (well, we still had to talk really loud). We signed up for bocce ball but someone erased our name from the list (grr!) so if you're really dying to play, it probably pays off to hover nearby. The decor is modern and the high ceilings help make it feel spacious. I agree with Valerie B -- pleasantly surprised how clean the girls' bathroom was! That's a def plus. Parking was challenging since there are a lot of popular bars on the same block. Another plus is that there's a a hot dog guy right outside in case you get hungry or need to pre-empt getting too trashed/hungover.

Great place to get your pregame on!!. Cheap mixed drinks and beer. 5 bucks!!! for a tall glass??? Can't go wrong. Bartenders are fast and friendly and the crowd is always up for a good conversation.

Honestly the music was terrible and my drink a tequila sprite was absolutely horrendous. Just go to the bar next door.

Pretty nice bar. Drinks on the pricier end, but places to sit and two bocce ball lanes. Usually pretty full.

Best bar in Oakland. Can chill and have a drink streetside on the patio... or play some bocce ball inside.

4 stars for free to play indoor bocce ball. Drinks are expensive but that seems to be the standard around this area.

Great cocktails but slowest service ever. I've been to bars with one bartender and they worked faster than this place. However, their prices are pretty good.
