Every employee that's there hasn't been there for longer than 3 years. If you want a certain day off and you can them early they will clear your whole week. Very unprofessional never had any place like this. I was very excited to work with them. Too bad they play with people's Money and that says enough. They treat employees that there just cattle you can and will be replaced. Also you're going to always move locations so don't get comfortable in one place.

Probably like a 7 minuet read. But it is informative.
I just got up one day and decided to get my security license. In the same week of me passing the 8 & 16hr course, I was applying, I landed on JSB. I was excited, proud to start so early. I was placed 4 nights at a site in Harlem doing overnight. No problems ever when I was on tour and if there was something wrong, I'd report it. I feel like a lot of my reports fell on deaf ears and were met with robotic responses. I was asked to obtain my F-01 to allow me to work at a location way closer to my home. I obtained said license less than 24 hours of me having been asked to obtain it. Only to be assigned to this location once a week. On top of once a week, I was only assigned there for 2 weeks. As if I was covering for someone. I thought the 1 hour and 15 minuet commute to Harlem was a bit lengthy and didn't quite match up with my sleep schedule. I asked several days in advance to be reassigned from overnight to mornings in the Bronx. Only to have my hours go from 32 hours a week to 16. After giving them 5 mornings and 1 open to work with. I called immediately asking if this will be permanent, their response: "We are just working with the hours you gave us". I waited for them to email the following weeks schedule. Only for it to be Sunday (the day my shifts usually start) and to not have anything in my email. This meant to me that I didn't get any shifts, not even the 2 I was reassigned. So I quit. I gave them a weeks notice, dropped off the uniform, picked up my check and W2. They didn't even have to decency to come down stairs. They had an intern bring down my papers. Even after the owner of the company was giving me praise for how I do my job, even after they wanted to show their appreciation with a photo shoot and mock interview and a $150 bonus. For the two days I was assigned I only did one and requested in advance that I have my sick hours cover the other shift. Only for that request to literally be ignored. They are always hiring workers, you are nothing but a body on their site. Overnight you aren't doing anything but rounds. Those get boring quick. There doesn't seem to be much structure, since they don't email the shifts on the same day, their communication with the clients is horrible. The uniforms they give sit in the basement. I know this because of their smell when I first got them. They give you worn hard hats that are on the verge of breaking apart and the shirts sometimes have holes in them. There doesn't seem to be any incentive to come in early especially since your relief comes in late. There also doesn't seem to be any punishment for workers who come in late. I met workers who were drunk on tour. I was told one piece of advice when I first started. "Get in, get your money, and get out". All in all this place is a horrible mess. I'm sure they know this. If you enjoyed any of what I mentioned here, and would like to apply, be my guest. You will more than likely get hired as long as you have your license. The one thing I liked were the field supervisor. They were real people.
