I arrived about 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I was checked in right away. Vincent was friendly and efficient. He got the paper work squared away promptly and explained everything I needed to know. He asked if I would be waiting. I told him I was since I drove from the city to get the car serviced.
I went to the waiting room and I made myself comfortable. The waiting room was immaculate, even the magazines were neatly arrayed. There was fresh coffee and even donuts. I helped my self to both, very happily, and took a chair. I was absorbed in my book for maybe 45 minutes when Vincent arrived with the good news that the work was done and all was fine. He escorted me to my car and off I went. Barely an hour spent from check in to check out.
From the staff, to the efficiency, and the consideration for the customers time and comfort, this dealership can t be beat. This is an exceptiomally well run business. I have been a customer going back to 1987. Even though we moved back to the city 5 years ago, I will continue to make the trip for any service needs. They deliver great service, honestly and professionally.
We just purchased a Honda Accord from Mahwah Honda. Our salesman Ray Arroyo was the best!! We have dealt with Ray from previous car purchases. Ray is very knowledgeable and courteous. He treats you with respect and makes a car purchase a pleasant experience. No pressure and gives you all the info you need to make the right decision. He is definitely an asset to the dealership. My daughter s lease is ending and she will also be dealing with Ray for a new car. I would not deal with anyone else.

...so, this is not my first ride on the Merry-go-Round of buying a car. Over the last 20 years I have bought from many different places, but never once have I felt as good about it as I did at Mahwah Honda. In all fairness, I have been driving Honda Elements for the past 14 years, and so I have some fondness for the brand. That being said, my last purchase 11 years ago at DCH Paramus Honda was so harrowing and awful that I went out of my way to go to Mahwah to look at cars, and I am really glad I did.
JC Meyer sat with me and went through different models, talking them up, and walking me through the pros and cons. I came in specifically to look at the HR-V, so we started there, but also talked a bit about the Civic, CR-V, and Fit. He had a lot of CR-Vs and Civics in stock, but he never once tried to push or pressure me into either of them, he did what salesmen are SUPPOSED to do: present ideas and alternatives, and listen to the customer to see whether there is a better alternative that they might not realize. I came to look, but JC made such a great impression that the bar for all the other cars I looked at was insurmountably high. Great work on his part!
Bob Pellecchia and the team were excellent in getting me from my aging Element and into the HR-V. They were friendly, collegial, and congenial. They even chatted with my mother and got her to the point of being excited about Hondas.... She drives a Buick LaCrosse... That should tell you something about perception right there. They worked hard to make me a part of the family, and I appreciate it.
Michael Craig, the Finance Guy, was fantastic, he walked me through the steps he took to obtain my financing. This guy is pure, solid gold. Like everyone else, he did not press or pressure, and worked with me to make the best possible selection possible.
"Uncle" Dave DiSimone helped me out a great deal, taking me over to the secondary lot to check out colors, discussing the pros and cons of options packages, and laughing at my nerdy jokes.
All in all, this is possibly the gold standard of Honda dealerships. They have enough awards to sink a small ship, and they deserve every one of them. No question.

Their newly updated service center on Franklin Turnpike in Mahwah provides you with top notch service. I haven t had 1 bad thing to say about this service center since I started using them for both of my cars. I purchased and leased elsewhere, but I find this service center gives you the best treatment from the get go. Upon pulling into the driveway you are treated with the respect that a customer deserves. That s is hard to find especially in other Honda dealers in the area.

My experience was outstanding. The entire dealership is absolutely top notch. Debbie and the others that helped me made this the absolute best experience I have ever had buying a car. Wow. I just picked up a new CR-V from Mahwah and the lengths they went though to make my experience trouble free were tremendous. I did the entire transaction over the phone and online and while I was apprehensive at first, it was incredibly easy. Everything was as they said it would be. When I went to pick up my new car, I was blown away by the delivery center. I was the only person allowed in and, there was my beautiful CR-V parked inside this massive and immaculate delivery area. I was on one side of the glass the finance guy was on the other and I was out of there in about 10-15 minutes.This experience was just what I needed. Everyone was so cordial... Tim (the manager) & Mike (handled all my paperwork) especially. I highly recommend this dealership. 5-stars!

Service center didn't see the appointment I had made the week prior so I had to make another one which was unfortunate but the personable customer service and speedy turn around time on my repair made up for it. They even filled my tires and fixed my loose undercarriage free of charge.

I had the usual I hate going to dealers to get a car thinking. My salesman was great! I got a great car in the same day. I returned today to drop off the title on my old car. Less than stellar. I had high hopes after reading the reviews, but I'm not impressed. I started a new lease and was offered to have the final payments paid of my old lease. The months were "miscalculated" and I'm stuck paying 2 car notes simultaneously. Honestly, it was my fault also, and I was willing to pay it (because I signed contract) but the way it was handled was beyond unprofessional. I called and left multiple messages for my salesperson (Juan Martinez) and he would not respond. When I came to the dealer in person he said, "Oh yea, I left you a voicemail..." or "I'll give you a call on Monday". False.
Customer service, communication, and transparency goes a long way with me and they definitely dropped the ball with this one. I do not recommend, and although my lease just started, I can't wait til it's over

Purchased a car and Mr. Robert Bozzo was so accommodating, I call him several times and he always responded either by sending me a text message or a personal call. I took two test rides with him and he was most agreeable in answering all the questions I had. Sold my car and was told to receive a check in a week. After 3 weeks of constantly following up, I had to finally go back to the dealership and got a check. Their check bounced back and I ended up waiting for another week until my bank finally could collect the money from their account.
Don't trust the 4-5 star reviews, those are from the people who bought a new car. Read similar 1 star reviews before selling your car!

here's a rundown of my experience this past Feb.
1) After a handshake with salesman on a lease price for a 2017 Ridgeline I was called later that day from finance saying they couldn't do the agreed price and was told it would be 25 dollars more a month only after saying I'd walk away from the deal did... we agree on 5 dollars more a month.
2) Signed the lease paperwork only to have them call me a saying that they messed up the paperwork and I would have to go back in to sign new papers.
3) After driving the new Ridgeline a few days discovered that the air conditioning wasn't working....keep in mind this is a brand new vehicle with 20 miles on it. I will say the service department was top notch and they were quick to diagnose the problem and gave me a loaner.
4) After finding out they needed my vehicle for an extra day as they wanted to make sure they fixed it correctly ( as I said, service department was excellent and seem to really care). My fiance and I went into speak with the sales man and sales manager and express our unhappiness with how the financing was handled and how the AC on a brand new vehicle was not working. I had expressed that when you get a new vehicle that you're supposed to be excited and pleased and I was anything but that and was thinking I made a mistake buying a Honda. We were told that they would do what they could and were promised that we would be happy.
5) The Ridgeline was fixed as it should have been but nothing else was done. My fiance sent 3 emails to the sales manager to inquire about what they promised....she did not get any response.
6) After noticing that my 30 day temp plate was expiring that day, I went into the dealership to ask if my plates were in. They never called me to let me know the plates were in and they had been sitting there for a couple of weeks. Had I not gone in who knows how long it would have taken them to tell me.
7 After leaving two more messages in person at the receptionist desk for the sales manager he finally called and left a message not sure what else to do, the vehicle was fixed....like that was the big favor they did for us....cant' even offer a couple of free oil changes which other dealerships do all the time as a part of the deal.
couple more things to mention:
I never received a customer satisfaction survey from them
I leased the Ridgeline over a month ago and have gotten two messages from them in the past couple of days asking if I was still interested in purchasing a Ridgeline.
They offered me 200 dollars on a running 2008 vehicle which I said no to and thought was an insult. I ended up giving it to Kars4Kids which they ended up selling at auction for 2,350
They might be right that they treat you like family....it just depends on the family.
Nice customer service reps, always good about explaining what needs to be done & why. If you want or need to postpone non-critical work, they're totally fine with that. Finally, they're very dog-friendly!

On Saturday April 27th I went to get my first oil change at the dealership. Soon my arrival I was met by Mark Blazejewic, who had me come to his desk and start the process. After my paperwork was done, he instructed me over to the waiting area, where they're would be coffee, donuts, muffins and water. While even though he didnt tell me how long it would take to finish, within 30 minutes the car was done and Mark showed me the way to pay. Mark was very friendly and I didnt feel pushed or talked down to about anything. I was very happy about the process and will return when anything on my car comes up.
