Salesman Jeff Shell is very arrogant, rude and disrespectful. Told my family he doesn t want to sell us a car if he cant make money.

Went there to buy a Honda with my wife and while it's not like a drive-thru like Paramus Honda you're still treated like a retard which is funny considering that with the invention of the internet it makes everybody a savvy buyerh but their initial contact with you is to First treat you like a dumbass and depending on your answers and how knowledgeable you are is how they adjust a pitch

Purchased a 2017 Honda Civic,, mostly via emails and telephone. Upon receiving the vehicle at the dealership, I have to say, the transaction couldn't have been smoother and stress-free. Everything promised was delivered, with no back peddling on anything. Most astounding was the interest rate that was quoted, was given. My last vehicle purchase at a NYS dealership was not so pleasant with the dealership pulling the interest bait and switch on me, by offering a 3.9% rate, and then on day of pick-up, the rate on paper was 4.7%. Not at Mahwah Honda! Sales and finance team were extremely courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and patient, answering all questions clearly and concisely, and offering future help if ever needing. I would definitely recommend this dealership without hesitation.

Oh, forgot a very important detail: The price quoted for the vehicle was the lowest out of 5 Tri-State area Honda dealerships, and again, no back peddling at any point in time with regard to original price quoted.

We have a excellent sales experience with Regis- he was helpful, friendly and most efficient. Not easy to find when buying a car.- the finance /floor manager was also fabulous- he got us a great rate and had everything ready. We bought the car and drove it away in less than 24 hrs.

If you ever have had the misfortune of taking your car to another Honda Dealership in Bergen County you will realize how decent Mahwah is. Aside from some sales calls and some redundant solicitation after buying my 2013 Accord overall I trust them with my vehicle. Prices are competitive too especially for tires. Paul in the service department is a stand up guy and will take good care of you. It always pays to know about what things cost and what s going on with your car. But for a guy that does, they don t appear to be shady at all. My only advice to them is to stop pestering buyers to trade in their car. If we wanted to trade a car in ever three years we wouldn t buy a damn Honda. Go pester the lease people!!!!

Had a great experience here purchasing my new vehicle. Alex was very helpful and made the process very simple.

I brought my car in for routine maintenance like an oil change, and I knew I needed new tires. After they looked at my car I received a call from the service rep and was told my car needed a total of almost $2500 worth of work. The car is only 7 yrs old, although it does have over 100,000 miles on it. And I have done my best to keep up with the maintenance since I bought it.

For financial reasons I chose to fix only those items that were most pressing, and the service rep did his best to apply coupons and bring the cost down as much as he could. After I picked my car up I noticed a problem as soon as I got on the road. I called the service rep immediately and was able to bring my car right back. They drove the car alone and then with me in it, and I was told there was nothing wrong. But I insisted there was, and they took it back into the shop to recheck it with whatever equipment they use. Turns out I was right, and they did fix it immediately. But what if I hadn't insisted? I drive my car every day and I know how it feels. If I say something is wrong, I shouldn't have to be a mechanic to be taken seriously.

I have no complaints about the service rep, who did his very best to help me. I've been a loyal Honda owner and have only purchased brand new vehicles from Mahwah Honda (this is my 4th) for the last 20 yrs. But this particular car, which I bought new in 2011, is the worst I've had. There have been issues on and off since the day I picked it up, but not enough to qualify it as a lemon. It's definitely made me rethink if I will buy Honda again, and this recent experience with the service dept has shaken my faith in them as well.

This dealership is amazing. I have driven up and down route 17 and Mahwah Honda is the best car dealership in the county if not the state! They are incredibly straight forward and a pleasure to work with. Everyone was so friendly and Bob and his team are super knowledgeable. This was our first time leasing a car and they took all of the guess work out of the process. Mahwah Honda is the best of the best. Period!! Thanks everyone

Brought my Type R for service. Everyone I came across were extremely helpful and flexible to my requests. The word "Friendly" doesn't begin to describe the professionals that work at this location. I live 5 miinutes away from DCH Honda but will definitely be driving 30 minutes to Mahwah to have my vehicles serviced.

I can't say enough good things about Mahwah Honda, but I'll try! This was my first experience buying a car for myself. My first dealership visit was to DCH Paramus Honda, which was not a great experience. (The salesman at the Paramus location was nice enough, but the manager was extremely rude. I felt very pressured to make a decision so I walked away.) Moving on to the team at Mahwah Honda ... it was like night and day. From the second we walked in the door we were given a warm welcome. Every staff member we interacted with made us feel at home and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Ray Arroyo (Honda Director) and Chace Bethea (Business Manager) were an absolute pleasure to work with; they went above and beyond to address my concerns and customize a deal to fit my needs. There was no BS back-and-forth, no swindling. They made it very clear what was optional and emphasized that there was no pressure on me to opt for any extras I didn't want. And they made great deals upfront. Very transparent! I bought my car a week ago and Ray has already called me several times to check in, make sure everything is okay, and see if I have any questions. My experience at Mahwah Honda was better than what I'd hoped for in buying my first car, and significantly more enjoyable than my experience at the previous dealership. My parents and my boyfriend were with me and all three agreed they'd come back to this location to shop for themselves in the future. Great layout, less crowded than other dealerships. And apparently they're getting a lot of customers from Paramus who had a negative experience similar to mine with the same manager. I truly appreciated the Mahwah team working to turn that around and compensate. So happy a friend encouraged me to make Mahwah Honda my next, and thankfully final, stop!

I bought a great used car at a fair price. I was very hesitant at first. I have not bought a used car in a long time, and images of the classic used car salesman gave me nightmares. However, the people at Mahwah Honda were not like any salespersons I have met before. Dave was very knowledgeable about the car he was selling. Additionally, I didn't feel like he was pressing to make a sale but, more like I was starting a nice friendship and car was our mutual interest. I would recommend the dealership to anyone that is looking for a new or used vehicle, these guys were great.

Rob is awesome at Mahwah Hyundai will make your buying expierece smooth. I literally only had to come to the Dealership to sign papers and pick up my Vehicle. No long wait for hours for Bank approvals.

Somebody named kare gave them a fake phone number and it happens to be mine, now the effers won't stop calling even when hearing the name John on the voice mail. This is turning into harassment and they will be needing the legal department if it continues any longer.

We just bought our third Honda from Justin Peluso (our fifth from Mahwah Honda), and we were very happy with the experience. Justin went out of his way to make sure all our questions were answered and that we got a great deal!

I have been having my car serviced at a nearby Honda dealership and the experience has been horrible. Yesterday I went to Mahwah Honda, which is 45 minutes away, and worth the trip. I was greeted when I arrived, treated professionally, and Vincent Ferretti spent time explaining what I needed and why. He was polite, responsive, thorough, and he knew his business. This is where I will be going with my Honda from now on.

Steve was recommended to us by trusted friends. He's very professional, answered all our questions and concerns.No high pressure. He spent as much time with us as we needed to make a decision, and he extended a courtesy to us that was very helpful.

This was from the moment we walked into the dealership to begin review and discussion.
It continued on the day we accepted delivery of the vehicle and were given an initial introduction to all workings.
It lasted through the time we returned when notified the registration was available.

Alex in sales was professional, friendly and knowledgeable on all aspects of the vehicle.
Price was in the 'great' range with no haggling required.
Test drive was offered and conducted on highway and secondary roads.

Michael was equally professional, friendly and knowledgeable on all aspects the purchase and financing.
Multiple options related to incentives and offers were clearly explained.
We were able to select from these options the one that best fit our budget.

Robert Diaz helped me today with my "emissions system problems" on my honda pilot. He was very helpful and explained to me what needs to be replaced. I went home not spending a dime, not even the diagnostic charge since it was covered under my warranty. The service is fast at this service center unlike the horrible experience that we had at Honda Paragon ni Queens. The free donuts, muffins, coffee and water were a bonus!

Shopping for a used car can be frustrating and I left two other dealerships very unhappy with the care I was receiving. Mahwah Honda, on the other hand was more than fair, and the customer service was outstanding. Ely Kohan, my sales associate, was most helpful and went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. I was also impressed with the follow-up. After buying a used car, I didn t expect my salesman to check back to ensure I was still happy. Ely followed up with courteous professionalism and I couldn t be happier!

We purchased our pilot from Mahwah Honda and have always used their service department. It s been about 4 years and service is always great. Honest service representatives. I ve never felt pressured to spend money I don t need to. I trust them. Keep up the great work!

Horrible experience with a lease there. At first they told that no matter what credit score is, it won't affect estimated monthly price merely by 40$.

Once they run a credit check it turned out (from their words, as they didn't show any proof of score they got) it affected by 60$.

Then they offered a test drive of a 'exactly the same' vehicle while we were waiting(a good hour) for the color of our choice. When that vehicle of our color arrived it turned out It lacks options which we've seen on 'exactly the same' one given for a test drive.

Once they realized they've showed us a vehicle with options, the price jumped another 40$.

Another surprise was that they were talking about a term one year longer than we initially requested.

Not to mention they juggle numbers on a piece of paper, do not even expect to get a quote. And If you do get one, make sure it's for the exact vehicle you've taken for a ride as they don't know their inventory.

I m putting Mahwah Honda on the naughty list for this year! Thanks to your wonderful salesman Jeffrey Shell.

Joe was fantastic. So professional and courteous and knowledgeable. I came in for a simple oil change but also mentioned trouble I had with my wipers. Not only did he care about my concern, but he diagnosed the problem immediately from his own experience. Joe was kind enough to answer all of my questions with patience and detail and made sure my wipers were in terrific working order. I will definitely return to work with Joe again for future service needs.

Id give a ZERO if possible, that 1 star is non existent, please disregard.! I wanted a car that had a lot of issues, they promised if left a deposit they'd fix all the problems. I was ELATED. Little did I know it was all aruse. I had to contact him 4 days later where I was told the car was in too bad a shape and was put up for auction, but great news he got me a loan. I don't want another car, I wanted that 1. I now have 3 hard inquires on my report and they refuse to help. This dropped my score 18 points... Thanks Honda!!! I will be more aware of scammers...

The service department was great. I brought my car in for an oil change and Joe took care of me with a part issue that I was having. The oil change was so quick, it was over before I knew it. Joe set me up in the waiting room with coffee and donuts/muffins.

I scheduled a maintenance appointment and one hour later, I was at the service center. I was greeted promptly and my car was quickly taken in for service. The representative advised me of additional things that were due and all the work was done within the anticipated time. The customer lounge was a comfortable place to wait. This is the most efficient experience I've had with a vehicle in my 45 years of owning cars. Thank you!
