Purchased a new Honda Accord from the dealership - it was a great experience. Service Department - terrible experience. Called for an oil change - told no need to make an appointment, about a one hour wait. Arrived, told 2-3 hour wait. Had to leave. Tried calling the Service Manager, the the dealership manager (Kelly) - no one returned the call. To purchase a car - I say go. For Service - no way I will go back, nor would I recommend the Service Department to anyone.

I was about to purchase a used Pilot. The sales manager jumped in to finish the deal. He got rude with me slammed his pen on the desk and stated he will not be selling me a car tonight. This is an outrage. I will be buying a used Pilot from either Tenafy Honda, Garden State Honda or Rte. 23 Honda. I am sure I will receive professional treatment from them.
I live in PA and drove to Mahwah Honda, the Pre-Owned location on 99 Franklin Parkway to look at a Honda Accord. This was my first time dealing with a car dealership. The location was clean and they offered me a beverage. Everyone there was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I worked with the Sales Consultant, Victor Parra who made my visit very comfortable, definitely A++ Service. I purchased the Honda Accord a few days later. I want to thank Mahwah Honda, Victor and the whole team for making my first time experience with a dealer a smooth one.

My experience at Mahwah Honda was the best I have ever had at a car dealership. The staff were over the top friendly and informative. I almost did not buy another Honda. I previously purchased my car in Paramus. It was so terrible there I promised myself I would never go back and very happy I did not. I live in Mahwah so I took a chance in stopping in. The difference in dealerships was like night and day. I was treated great instead of just another body off the street. If your smart enough to stop by this Honda ask for Bob Bozzo. The man is the real deal. He will take the time to walk you through any needed steps of information. From any particularity from buying, owning and even the upkeep of the vehicle. Buying or leasing a car is a big deal. It should be a non stressful experience and this is what I liked the best about it. This is my 3rd Honda. In 1986 I had a CRX. In 2015 a CR-V. On Wednesday I picked up my new HR-V. Bob told me if I have any issues just pick up the phone and call him. This is the place to buy a car and glad I did. Walked with my uncle into their show room and no one there greeted us. Walked around looking at inside inventory and no one cared to ask if we needed help. I was looking to lease two cars today by trading my FJ cruiser that I own but I guess it wasn t going to be from here. Going back to Toyota I guess.

I went with my dad tonight to look at a car we discussed with the internet sales person for certified pre-owned. The salesman said that he wouldn't "waste time negotiating unless we were going to put a down payment immediately." Since my dad needed a car that was fine. While "negotiating," (not sure you can call it that since we NEVER got a price form them, the manager came out. I was on my phone looking at other Honda cars at other dealers to get a fair price. The manage freaked out on me for being on my phone, threw his pen across the room, got up and said " we are done here, you are not buying a car from me." My dad was ready to spend 27-29k in cash, not financing a car, but the psycho manager ruined it for Honda of Mahwah. Someone needs to investigate the manager as it was scary to see someone flip out so quickly. I have purchased form there before, but never again. I feel very unsafe going there knowing they throw things when a customer uses a cell phone. Garden State Honda had much better prices on their website, will be going tomorrow.
This is my second time leasing a car from Mahwah Honda. People are generally hesitant about going to dealerships due to the Hard sell!!! This has never been my experience at MH. My sales associate Justin P, was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend MH and DEFINANETLY JUSTIN!!!!!!!!!!

Car salesman Eddy at Mahwah Honda is the worst. What they need to realize is these hondas sell themselves. But they still feel the need to pressure you into a deposit like they have a car shortage. The kid has no idea what he s talking about. Went to route 23 Honda in pompton plains and bought a new accord a few days later for thousands less. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Eddy.

When I entered no one was in the store and that explains all. I think, They do not deserve Honda spirit and should not work in the first line working for a company who themselves have no roots or beliefs on it. It makes me so sad to see how management was feeling so unfulling and unhappy in a pathetic way with his own life. This guy and his staff did not know me, so it was not personal. [Sorry no name tag bald guy in a glass door, with lot of testostrone and but no endorphins.] When management is so low in motive for living and working in this society, I honestly do not blame staff to be yelling , rude and condescending. Honest to God do not know where these 5 stars coming from. And That is why I went there. I am a college student who wanted to get my first Honda. I would not think and go close to Honda store ever. He had no intention to sell, as if he was mad there was a nation wide Honda discount. He did not mention it, then when I asked for that he said it it out of your budget!
When I showed him my budget (which was IN RANGE with Honda nationwide discount, writtin my bidget range wrotten with his own staff s hand writing. He said what do you want me to do for you now?! You can not have it anyway, you have to sign by April first, which is in 3 day!! Really 3 days and you can mot finish the sale.

Over the past 2 years we bought 2 crv s. Both times the salesman Anil was a pleasure to deal with. When speaking to Bob one of the managers he made us feel like we were getting a good deal. He was open and did not drag out the sales process. We have come back for service and the teams there are very professional and easy to deal with. We have recommended the dealership to our friends and they had the same positive experience. This proves it was not a time positive experience.
Sales managers are not motivated to sell any cars at all. We ended up buying at garden state Honda sold us new 2018 civic lx 3000 under invoice cash price!!!
Most expensive lease quotes compared to other Honda dealers in the area. Sales make you look like a fool and tell you they re not included fees. I had no problems driving back to route 23 Honda. They beat The Mahwah Honda dealer monthly payment by over 85 dollars a month. Looking for good sales people and aggressive pricing go to 23 Honda. Route 23 also gives you free oil changes for life. Can t beat that! No wonder nobody was inside Mahwah Honda showroom.

From the moment I called asking for directions to the showroom through weeks later when I picked up my plates for my new lease, I was treated respectfully and warmly, a rare combination in the new car sales world. Dave Desimone welcomed me, listened to my concerns and my needs, and helped me get into a new lease almost worry free. I found him to be extremely friendly, down to earth, and felt that he really wanted to give me the best deal possible. And I believe I got that. Dave followed up with me all throughout the process and even the paperwork with Jack Russel seems virtuously painless. Jack was honest, straight forward, and professional, I trusted him as well. This has always been a fare and honest dealer in my experience but on my last visit was offer a deal over the phone and confirm in person just to change my payments after everything has been agree, so I have to rate as a 3 not longer sure of them, even when my previous experience with them were great. Just make sure everything is in writing in advance

Very satisfied every time I had to come and visit Mahwah Honda. The staff is super friendly. The gentleman in service are great, I arrived and was greeted immediately , and directed into the service area where I sat with Robert Diaz who was my service advisor for the day. He went over the process of my car maintenance for that day and got me right out and back to work in no time with a loaner. Soon after he called advising of a tire needing to be replaced and explained why it was not repairable. I appreciated the call so I didn t have any surprises when I came back in to pick up my car Glad that my tires were checked even though I was only there for an oil change . I've bought a lot of cars over the years, and I have never had a better experience than I had at Mahwah Honda. I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted with no pressure or up-selling. The salesperson I worked with was Anil Arora. He was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I chose Mahwah Honda and Anil because an acquaintance of my mind had recently bought a car there and worked with Anil. She was happy with him and dealership, so when I was ready to buy that's where I went. Anil spent a lot of time with my partner and I on separate occasions letting us drive the cars. We were having trouble deciding whether to buy a hybrid or not. He never pushed up to make a commitment. So when we were ready to buy we were confident buying from him. I did a lot of research about price and Mahwah Honda agreed to the price I wanted to pay.
The finance guys are bunch of goons. They are really pathetic. They are expert in yo yo financing and they will threaten you to extent where you feel it will impact your credit history and then you don't have any where else to go but buy car from Mahwah Honda. Don't be the victim of Mahwah honda. There are other honda dealers better than them. In-fact all are better than Mahwah honda.
I had gone to a few dealerships with time running out on my lease and not much time to deal with the shenanigans of dealerships. I went to another local dealer and was told the same vehicle I leased at Mahwah Honda would cost over $100 more per month, with a down payment of $3,999. A bit discouraged by what seemed like an extremely high price on the vehicle I wanted, I reached out to Mahwah Honda by email and was given an honest, up front price from Alex in internet sales. He explained that it would be best to continue to talk in person so I could test drive the vehicle as well. I scheduled to meet him the next day and the price was the same! No bait and switch, no pressure, no sales managers coming in to try to sweeten the deal. I committed on the spot and am now driving a brand new CR-V EX with everything that I was hoping I would get, all for almost $10,000 less than what I would have paid over the course of the lease at the other place. Alex picked me up from my lease return dealership and spent a bit of time showing me how to use all the new tech in the vehicle, which was great and allowed me to drive off the lot feeling like I knew how to control everything. Thanks again, Alex. You made it WAY too easy for me to walk out with a new SUV!
This place does not have good end of the year blowout sale prices. Only 2-3 thousand off doesn t cut it for a leftover model. D&C Honda in Tenafly took off 6300 on the base 2018 accord. This place is really good at test drives and showing the car but the sales are a joke.
We went in looking for a new car. The salesman was not pushy at all. He spent time with us , answered our questions, let us test drive the car without any pressure. One of the most pleasant car buying experiences I've had.

My '12 Honda CRV has been experiencing the VTC Actuator issue that is known for the 2012 year. Being that I had a great relationship with Ramsey Acura with all my Acura's and having known that Mahwah Honda is their sister dealership, I figured I'd give them a try.I didn't purchase my CRV from Mahwah and was never happy with the other dealership's service dept, which is what prompted me to call another, as luck would have it, it was Mahwah Honda that I called.
Spoke to a service adviser, Jessie Arlington, who was familiar with the VTC issue. I explained it to him and also informed him that I'm aware that I'm out of warranty. He asked for my VIN number, then called me back to inform me that it actually is covered another an emissions warranty...great!
I dropped my vehicle off the night before, they provided me with a loaner which was nice. Jessie kept me updated & informed of the process throughout the time they had my vehicle. He informed me that my belt tensioner needed to be replaced and was honest to tell me it wasn't urgent but I decided to have them the work being they already had the vehicle.
He never attempted to 'upsell' me with any additional work, labor, etc...which is nice because most dealerships will do that. He was courteous, friendly & knowledgeable.
Safe to say I now have a Honda dealership that I can trust and bring my vehicle to when needed! I would highly recommend their service center & Jessie Arlington.
If I could give no stars I would brought my truck in for a vibration and after selling me 1200 dollars worth of tires I didn't need and that didnt fix the problem they just dodge my calls and wont call me back very unprofessional I am going to contact honda customer service about them CROOKS
