I recently leased a 2018 Honda Civic and I could not have had a better experience. This is my first purchase at this dealership and i can tell you 100 percent that they are the best in the area. Anil was my salesperson and he was a pleasure to work with. Howard was my finance manager and he was also great he didn t pressure me to buy any additional products and was extremely kind. Top class service all around also clean and tidy showroom. Would definitely recommend buying or leasing a car from Mahwah Honda.

Made an appointment to view a vehicle I had planned on purchasing. Made a 2 hour drive only to find out it was sold. Not a big deal but a phone call would have been nice before I drove 250 miles and wasted over 4 hours of my day. Very inconsiderate

Juan Martinez-> I would NOT recommend! Yes, he s friendly and personable...but behind that likable demeanor is a sneaky salesman just like every other. He tried pulling a fast one on me by offering a vehicle which he claimed was fully loaded with Honda sending but in actuality had $1000 less in options. At no point did he call a manager over to try and come to an agreement with me and compensate me. Extremely disappointed with this dealer after seeing some decent reviews.

Mark Blazeejewic the Service Advisor was extremely helpful. Explained just how they would handle the issue with the car. When finished he told me what the mechanics did to ressolve the problem. He was courteous and most knowledgeable. Thanks again for the expedited service on such short notice.

Mahwah Honda never disappoints! I leased my second car from them last month and they really go above and beyond to make your whole experience convenient and comfortable. My guy Neil made sure i got the color I wanted on my schedule even if it meant they had to drive the car down from another dealership themselves. I couldn't be happier with me new Honda Fit or with the experience that I had with these guys!

Not sure what need to be edited but.....So I just would like to encourage anyone who service their vehicles here at 99 Franklin turnpike, Mahwah, NJ just be on guard and notice your vehicle properly before you leave their premises as they have some incompetent drivers operating your vehicle. Sad to say my first time at this location and was very disappointed as they damage my truck and refused to take responsibility for their actions as if they have nothing to lose. Thinking I was so naive and dumb the manager stated he was showing me the videos of me entering and leaving their premises including the movements of my vehicle while it was in their possession. He refused to even show me walking to my vehicle in the parking lot and observing the scratch on my bumper and not noticing that they had also damaged my reverse light. I've been with the Honda family since 2008 and have never been this disappointed. In addition, the manager was getting an attitude with and how he was going to delete the information from the system. We minorities will always suffer because others see us as dumb and wants to take advantage. I just wanted them to accept responsibility for their action and try not to make me look stupid. Really, really sad. You certainly won't see me there again......unless...

Ed was very patient taking me on multiple test drives and pointing out the different specs, features and options of each vehicle I tested so I can make an educated and informed decision. I want to start out by saying I sent this as an em...

I want to start out by saying I sent this as an email to Honda and after two auto responses telling me someone would get back to me, no one ever did.
I am so disappointed in Honda and will not be taking my car there for service again.
I just moved and don t have a mechanic in our new area yet. I decided to bring my car to Honda since it is on my way home and I figured Honda would be trustworthy.
I saw an online coupon for the fall special which includes an oil change, tire rotation, wiper inserts, multi point inspection, and top off all fluids.
Let s start with the top off all fluids part. This apparently only includes wiper fluid. Thats one fluid. Little bit of false advertisement there if you ask me.
Next was the multi point inspection. Which is really only tires and brakes. I would ve thought bringing my car to Honda they would ve been checking a little more. But that s partly my fault for not asking about it.
What really bothers me is my tires were rotated and as I was about half way into my drive home FROM Honda, my tire pressure light went on. My husband checked my tire pressure that night (and again a few days later) on all 4 tires and none of them were below what they should be. I tried to reset it but it s still on. So obviously something happened while it was there.
Also I know it s really not a big deal (and cars get dirty), but my car was given back to me with the outside drivers side filthy. Looks like it was driven though something. I m not really sure where my car was driven while it was being serviced. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but I expected so much more care and consideration going through Honda.
I am also still waiting (almost two weeks now) for my detailed report to be emailed to me. Obviously I m never getting that at this point.
I m now left with trying to figure out why my tire pressure light is on and having to get to the car wash to clean off whatever residue is on the side of my car.
Again I m so disappointed and expected so much more from Honda. I had a good buying experience there, but this was the complete opposite.

This is the 3rd car I have leased through Mahwah Honda and sales associate Deborah Levinson. All of the staff are very friendly and easy to deal with. Deborah is very thorough in explaining everything about the transaction and about the car and Michael Craig, the business manager, is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Mahwah Honda.

Reviewing a car dealership is difficult. There are so many people and so many variables. When you walk into Mahwah Honda someone greets you, offers you something to drink and gets someone to help you right away. The showroom is clean and organized. It seems as though the whole team is aware of your presence. Yesterday I bought a car. I had to work with a number of people to get the deal done, it was professional with great service and attention to detail. While dealerships sell lots of cars, to the customer its a significant purchase (a big deal) and it seems they really have an awareness about that. I am glad I walked in there yesterday and feel great about my purchase.

While I have yet to meet the owner of the dealership, it's clear their principals focused on integrity, transparency and valued quality to their customers comes from the top-down. This was honestly the best car buying experience I've ever had! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with friendly assistance. We discussed what I was looking for, they found it, took her for a test spin and set the deal. Everything went perfectly! No muss, no fuss, and best of all, no BS! I didn't have to haggle! They gave me the best deal I could get right up front and got an awesome price for my trade in. I, hands down, recommend anyone looking for a Honda to go to Mahwah Honda! (Stefan was my guy, you rocked!)

I took my car in to get a headlight part replaced and while dropping me off, my wife's car had a battery issue in the parking lot of the dunkin donuts next door to the dealership. I went back to the dealership expecting to wait for a mechanic but our service rep, Eddie walked me to the (dead) car and figured out the issue on the spot. He got the car to start and we drove back to the dealership where they quickly fixed the issue. Eddie really went out of his way and deserves recognition, thanks again Eddie!

IS there a -STAR? After a hour and a half of waiting for an oil change and checking my leaking tire, I left dissatisfied and amazed at the lack of customer service AND no service done to my car. I made an appointment by phone for a oil change and when I arrived I also asked if they would check my tire and the warranty coverage. After an waiting for 1 1/2 hour I went up to find out when my car would be ready. Robert took his time to call the Agency and then, I was informed that my tire tread was too low for warranty coverage to fix the nail in my tire and asked would I want to replace the tire. I didn't not have MORE time to wait!!! When I asked leave and just pay for my oil change, I was asked, "Did you ask for a oil change?" I made an appointment for one!!!! There was NO apology, acknowledgement of any fault, concern, or customer service. Robert acted like he was annoyed and could care less. After two hours of my time.... could he offer to at least plug the air leak until I replaced the tire? Apologize for my inconvenience....anything? I should have listened to my instinct when I saw the condition of the building and lack of care to its upkeep. I would NEVER go back or recommend this service center to anyone!!

Mahwah Honda is much smaller than DCH, which comes with the benefit of having a much more personable experience. The showroom floor has a nice layout of models, and it's located near some solid places to grab a bite at, in case you like to take a negotiation break. Even though I didn't make a deal here, I really liked the way the salesmen handled themselves, and found the location to be convenient.

Just love the drive-in service. Takes the guess work out of where to park and where to go to get service. Jessie, my service attendant was very helpful in that he listened to my concerns and explained what the process would be in detail. Customer waiting lounge was comfortable with all the amenities available. Dealing with accounts payable was a pleasure due to Arlene. All in all, a satisfying experience.

I experienced prompt, professional service from the moment I drove in until the time I left. Service attendants walked me through the process -check in - registration -I was given a very accurate wait time and went to the customer lounge. Fresh coffee, donuts, muffins, water, and Saturday TV were waiting for me in a clean, spacious room. Had some pleasant conversation with other waiting customers, and then, - was told my car was done. The cost was reasonable and there were no surprises.
Will definitely be back. I am a big fan of painless car care!

Found a good used car online through Car Gurus. Knew this was the car I wanted and I did not want to waste anyone's time so I emailed my parameters. Person handling emails just had no clue, confirmed it was available but was unable to comprehend any other basic, relevant questions. It was comical except that it was annoying. After multiple emails I finally had to call the dealership and talk to a salesperson who was very nice and told me the car was not available. I was annoyed as I had wasted my time. Next day I get a call it is available, we work out a price, I get the car. They charge EGREGIOUS processing, documentation and motor vehicle fees. The advertised prices seem decent because so much is built in to the fees later. After a few weeks I call with a question. Despite the insane fees they had not processed my paperwork correctly which resulted in me having the inconvenience of going to motor vehicles anyway. I get it, stuff happens. I suspected I was going to have to go to motor vehicles, but thought I should call to clarify. Given the car was used it was really surprising that the specific documentation situation existed. I get a manager on the phone who was so rude, condescending arrogant and obnoxious that I will ever go there again and will not recommend them. Not
once did he say, sorry, we may have erred in the processing. He just talked over me with one excuse after another, appearing annoyed that I expected, after the fees I paid to have a car that was ready to drive legally. Bottom line, salesperson was nice, car price was decent, management and supporting staff unprofessional and incompetent.

Received a fair and reasonable price on my new 2014 Accord, with absolutely no high pressure. The salesman (Joe) was pleasant, courteous and helpful. I have bought many cars in my day, this experience was a pleasure, and I would recommend them highly. (Times sure have changed!)

I received excellent service from both Manny, the salesman who expertly discussed the Honda HRV I wanted to purchase. Very accommodating in all ways - even picked me up after I dropped of my lease vehicle. Howard the finance person explained my financial options and quickly worked to enable me to purchase the vehicle. Customer service at this location is terrific. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a vehicle from here. Very happy with my new car! It's my first Honda and it drives like a dream!

Went there today and worked with Anil A. For the 2nd time, not only did he get us the 2 cars( a 2020 Civic Si and a 2019 H-RV EX) we wanted but was able to help us get to a comfortable price range in which we were extremely happy, Anil is a class act salesman who will continue to have our family's business for as long as he works at Honda... Also I'd like to mention Howard the financial manager, who went to bat for us with Honda to ensure we secured the cars we wanted for the price we wanted to pay. All in all a pleasant experience which is hard to say especially when rating your experience car shopping. If your in the market for a Honda, give Anil at Mahwah Honda an opportunity to help you...
