A landmark of Columbus, fun activities for all ages and all while learning about science! It s a great place to work, everyone is incredibly nice. Right in the heart of Downtown Columbus, it s a real treasure with lots of things to do around it as well.

Anyone looking for evidence of the dumbing down of the USA need look no further than COSI. Fortunately we were able to get in free with our membership to our local science center. I would be absolutely livid if I paid the rack rate for admission. Most hands on exhibits were non functional and the presentation of science seems secondary to myth and corporate sponsorship. If you are looking for a place to babysit your preteen with nonsense, this may be your place. I cannot recommend attending or supporting this organization in any way. Save yourself $25 a head and do something else with your time.

Although it is an extremely educational place, the amount it costs to get in is a little extreme, considering alot if the hands on things are always broken. Also, all the extra cost of things. For example, the special mythical creatures exhibit cost an additional $5 for each person, the simulator is an additional $5, and the planetarium and theater cost extra. To take a family of three, be prepared to pay at least $200 to enjoy everything it has to offer and then be let down when half the stuff doesn't work. Wish it didn't disappoint me everytime I try this place again.

I love this place. I went to COSI as a kid, teen, and young adult, and now enjoy bringing my daughter here. There are great activities for all ages. Just spent several hours in the space for kids first grade and under, and there was still more to do.

What a disappointment. When I was young, my family looked forward to spending time at COSI any time we were in Columbus. Now, COSI has a new location and so I visited recently after a long hiatus. First of all, the cost is $20 per adult, More

This place was awful! I do not recommend it to anybody!!! I took my husband and four children. I would say 10 to 15 things right away was completely down where you could not do hands-on activities. They were not working. There were about 10 signs that said temporarily down! So it was very boring for the kids all of the cool things were down at the time. Then we bought an item in the gift shop and we got halfway home and wanted to get it out of the bag and she did not Bag it so I paid for it and it is still there. it was a head massager. I don't recommend taking your family there at all!! Very very disappointed!!! And I paid $110 just to walk through the door for half of the stuff to be down!!

I had never been to COSI before. LOVED it! My 2 sons,14 & 15 (not mentioning their names)......13 was so eager to go & had a ball! 15 practically had to be dragged there. Turns out, he had a great time! (Mr.15 only has interests in hunting, fishing & eating!) Great experience for all. The Planetarium was decent. The phrase "in the night sky" was used way too much.

Outrageously priced. Not sure who the target audience really is but a place named the center of science and industry should be a little more available to the citizens even the poor ones in the surrounding area. I took 2 small children and paid way too much. For the admission price I think we could go ahead and make the planetarium and well anything else free also. I was also not impressed with the large amount of anything new from the time I was a child. Once I fork over amusement park prices and find any exhibit closed or just broken I feel a little insulted. I will say yes the kids play area was awesome. Wosu was also something cool but once again , wosu being part of the community should be a little more accessible to the general public and not just the ones who make 6 figured a year.
COSI is a wonderful place to inspire you people to become industrial, creative, artistic , inquisitive adults and that chance should not be denied to the bottom wage earners.

COSI is a lot of fun to take kids to. It is a bit expensive but there is a lot to do and see. They are always changing exhibits and adding new things to see and do. The underground parking garage that was recently added is really nice and close access to the main doors. My favorite part is the progress town.

The museum was wonderful ! Great exhibits but the cafeteria food was disgusting !! Cold, hard and bland. The staff I'm the cafeteria were rude as ever they made me feel like a pest for asking for ketchup the food experience made me question going back ..

This museum is a must go for any tourists in the area. They have many fascinating exhibits and it is fun for the entire family. I have been going to this museum ever since I was in 6th grade and I still find myself coming back. It is a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it for all the exhibits that is in there.

I have lived in Ohio for 2 years now. Me and my wife have been wanting to take our 3 kids to Cosi for the longest time. The only problem was, i didn't want to pay the price they asked because my kids are to young to enjoy a lot of the stuff in there. Finally Cosi has a day where admission is 100% free! I knew it was going to be packed, but I said why not. After spending all day there (basically in a mosh pit of people), I am glad I never Paid to go in there... and I never will. It was very dissapointing. Even my kids were not super excited about the experience. There is not enough hands on. It feels more like a museum. And a lot of the information on exibits is incorrect. And there was obviously a lot of stuff broken and not working. I went in for free... and I still felt ripped off!

I haven t been since I was in school, I brought my kids today, Ages 9 and 14. Way to pricy for what they had to do. The exhibits were not very interesting for the ages of my kids. The food was not very good but it cost us 40.00 dollars and the line were too long. Won t be coming back again.

The exhibits were i formative and well planned out. However, the seats for the theather and the obsorvatory were extremely small. My sons did not fit and it was very embarrassing for them. Barely sitting on the edge of the seat. I highly suggest if your larger in weight not to pay the extra money to do the extra cost exhibits. The rest was of COSI awesome.

I went to COSI when I was a little girl and now I love to take my three kids there and see all the new things and some of the things that have been there for many (I won t say HOW many) years. There are always more than enough interesting things to learn about. We find something new every time we go. The membership is not terribly expensive and the best part is it gets you into all kinds of different museums across the country!

We love coming here with the kids. Lots to explore for little kids and tons of science exhibits for older kids and adults. Dinosaur exhibit far exceeded expectations and the rest of the exhibits are well maintained. More than you can do in a single day so plan to get a membership.

Awesome place to work and play. This was my children's favorite place to visit growing up. So much so, when my daughter became old enough to work she applied and was hired here. From the ocean exhibit to becoming a young adult and hosting Cosi after dark through the SSA team. Now as a senior class of 2020 from Bishop Hartley High School she'll be attending Miami University.

They spent all this money to move COSI from the old location on Broad St. to take over the beautiful location that used to be Central High School and turn it into something mediocre in comparison to either. Cyro is now nothing more than an exhibit behind glass, Street of Yesteryear is now a crappier version called the street of progress. No more hall of presidents! No more train exhibit! No more caboose! Many of these kids today could learn to know what a caboose is and what it was for. Sometimes they need a good kick in their caboose. Where is the coal mine? or the Time Tunnel? Perhaps I'm just getting old and letting nostalgia get the better of me but it seems that COSI is nothing more than a money making shell of its former glory!

Great and educational experience for children and adults alike. Although it is more focused on children it provides fun for adults as well. Every first Thursday of the month is COSI after hours where adults can participate in a lock in.

A great place for your children and children at heart to experience science. We were just visiting Columbus and happened to stop in, I get the feeling next time in the area it will be a requirement.

Fun and exciting time with the family but the food was awful. Rubbery chicken my sandwich actually was raw so never eating there again. Kitchen staff needs to be fired they dont care to do their jobs and cant even respond to questions just grunts at you. $10 chicken sandwich = family salmonella

Also if you have a kid in 2nd grade or older they cant be in the same play area as a toddler. Oh COSI all for segregation and not family time. Toddlers get playsets, water tables, and educational things. Older kids oh there are video games and board games in there for you have fun.

We love coming here, especially if the weather is too found or too hot out for other activities to wear out the kids. Their exhibits change periodically so there is plenty of new things to see each time you visit. They even have a cafe and a cafeteria that you can use your membership for a discount. (It's not a huge discount but it's better than nothing.) If you decide to visit more than once a year the membership is definitely the way to go. You only get $1 off of parking but it's better than the lack of any discount.

Its a lot of fun and I'm so glad to be a member but there are some areas that need better upkeep. Like in the sesame street news room, all the costumes were torn and broken and the green screen was malfunctioning. But mostly I adore it - the little kid space is perfect for days when my toddler and I just need to get out!

Waste of money for anyone over age 13. It's a bunch of interactive exhibits, 60% of them don't work or are 'down'. And then the "shows" are all like $5 each! So, $20 for two adults is pretty ridiculous in my eyes. Wouldn't come back, and wouldn't recommend it. So sad.

A few interesting exhibits for the adults to enjoy for sure, will have to come on a day where all the kids from the county don t decide to have their school field trip as they will run wildly in the building. Definitely a must see at least once if you re passing through Columbus.

You are crazy if you have never brought your kids to Cosi! This is an absolute Wonderland of Science and all good things for their brains. There are multiple floors with so many things to do grown-ups will have just as much fun as your kids. We have been there twice and absolutely LOVED IT. For a change of scenery why not drive over to Germantown for dinner.

I only give it 4 because we looooove yesteryear and they don't have enough of it with just 2 different periods. I could hang out in yesteryear all day if they had enough to see. Give us more! It's so cool! Planetarium is awesome and this place is packed with entertainment for all ages. We had a blast! Great place to take the kids.

I wish I was a kid and could experience the wonder that COSI has turned in to. The traveling exhibits make for fun visits that always has us coming back for more. It's obviously tailored for children and they have several interactive stations to keep children entertained and engaged while learning about science.

I've loved COSI my whole life! It's just as much fun as it is informational.

Progress is my favorite exhibit - it feels as though you truly are in each time period. All of the exhibits are entertaining and interesting.

My absolute only complaint is that it can be a bit expensive. But other than that, love it!!

The price of admission is steep but if you live here in Cols get the membership. The exhibits along with the new outdoor experience is worth multiple visits. Thoroughly enjoyed the Muppets exhibit. Don't miss it!

The parking lot was full but it kept well we have to put letting people in. So people was getting mad. Some of the stuff was broken and no one was round to fix it. The price could be cheaper.

Aesome experience. Fun exhibits for adults and children. The Wednesday and Saturday tech studio was amazing. My kids got to design a 3d model and the workers printed out the model on a 3d printer so we could bring them home.

Fun

The best science center I've been too! My kiddos LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, as we have spent many full days here. The exhibits are great for kids and adults alike, with a wonderfully redesigned kids space for them to play. If you plan on visiting multiple times per year, just signed up for a membership, especially if you're a family of (at least) 4.

This place is sooooooo nostalgic! I love going here once in awhile and everytime I do it's just full of life and color. Each exhibit has some type of charm to it and the themes are just great. It's so easy to find yourself around here.

We come here often and my boys always have a good time. They have great permanent exhibits, awesome visiting exhibits and a fun play space. The new parking garage and greenspace are also a great addition.

Went here for the first time with wife and stepdaughter and it was amazing! Will definitely come back. Especially want to spend a bit more time in the puzzles and mazes exhibit; we breezed through there towards the end of our trip but had to leave. The place will be even better once the construction is done. Can't wait!

This place is absolutely fantastic. Yes- it's a little pricey to get in but you certainly get your money's worth. I'm so glad we got to see the Jim Henson exhibit it was amazing. Like going back to your childhood. We had a 6 and 11 year old with us and they both had the most fun of their life! There's so much to see and do it's hard to even squeeze it all in one day. Interactive entertaining and just all-around worth the trip! You will not be bored here! There is literally something for everyone. The ocean exhibit is super super awesome and just a whole other level. Even the outside grounds are pretty and fun and you could spend the day out there with a picnic or in the spray area or playground.

I expecially like the street Room we're the same street and every room but a different time period.. super cool

This is a great place to take the kids. If you live in Columbus, I recommend buying a membership. Even a visit a month more than pays back for it, plus you get free entrance to other science museums throughout the country.

Amazing content, HORRIBLE customer service. The staff is so rude: cashiers rude, not letting my preschooler stay with me in the bigger kids area so one of the kids had to be unsupervised if we stayed (we didn t), staff complaining at ticket counter about having to work and wanting to leave, rude everywhere. Put a damper on experience after having to drive a long way to and from museum.
