Somewhat of a let down. Very much so paying for the name here and the atmosphere. Some of the (literally) same items can be found on Amazon for cheaper. This is because most of the products are made in Asia.

We tried to stop on a Saturday morning, that was a mistake! The line was ridiculous! We stopped again during the week when we were passing back through, no line!!! I am so glad that we didn t wait to get in. It s a cool place but I would not wait more than 5 min to see it. Maybe when all of the construction is done and more is open and going but for what is open now I do not think it s worth it.

Chip and Joann ' s is real. All the others has to much drama that's not needed. These shows are to help with how to remodel and decorate our homes. The dramatic actors in the other shows turns me off and I don't watch them. You two keep up your good work. I'll be watching and recording you.

I had no idea that Magnolia Market at the Silos was this big. Men beware, you may get stuck here for awhile. Luckily there is a bakery that is amazing and a collection of food trucks to choose from while you wait. I would post some pics of the delicious baked goods, but I already ate them.

Such a beautiful relaxing environment! I couldn't decide what to buy from the bakery and bought a little bit of everything! The strawberry cupcake was the best I've ever had! Get your camera ready for beautiful pictures and make memories! The food trucks were also very good! The sweet tea in the Mason jar from food truck vendor was so good!

Not a place to go out of your way for, but rather if you're in the area, a nice stop with friends and family on a cooler, fall day. It was too hot the day I visited to be outside in the quad with food trucks and all. I felt like the home store was more hype than anything. I was also disappointed that the cafe & bakery didn't have espresso options.

Wonderful, fun and family friendly atmosphere.

My family of three (husband, our 2 year old and me) visited Waco during April 2018 and the Silo's was the one place we/I wanted to go to "fan out" on everything Fixer Upper.

Parking: there are signs for $10 parking pretty much everywhere around the venue, but you can park in the Free lot located right next to the Silo's OR find street parking (just read the signs carefully). On our first visit we found parking on the street just a couple of blocks from the Silo's and on our second trip we located their free parking lot.

After parking, our first stop was the Silos Baking Co. where we ordered such delicious and decadent cookies (they ranged in price between $2.50-$3.50) and cupcakes ($3.50 each). Just note, the line could get pretty long, hut it goes by fast. Staff is there handing out pencils and menu cards describing each product. All you have to do is mark the ones you want and how many you need so when your ready to order, that process goes by quickly. We had the fillowing:

-Lemon Lavender cupcake (lemon & lavender vanilla cake + lemon buttercream icing)
-Jo's HBD Cupcake, since it was her birthday week we had to try it (it was a confetti cake with sprinkles)
-Silo's Cookie @$2.50 (a classic chocolate chip cookie + peanut butter chips & walnuts)
-Classic Chocolate Chip @$2.50
-Classic Sugar Cookie @$2.50 (butter rich suggar cookie with sugar crystals)
-House Blend Coffee @$2.50

The cupcakes were moist, but had too much frosting for my taste, but my husband would probably disagree. It all depends on how you like your cupcakes. The cookies were a good balance of sweetness and were such a good size to share with another person. The coffee was just ok.

Our next stop was the Magnolia Market. It got really packed to the point where my husband and son had to leave me to do the shopping while they stepped outside to enjoy the AstroTurf playing soccer. The store is a decent size with a ton of home decor. The staff assured me that everything in the store are solely sold there and Jo's Heart and Hearth line is solely Target, etc. I just shopped for souvenirs (t-shirts @$26-30, hat's $25-20, totes $15- $60, mugs $15+, and candles$28+).

Next stop was their seed and feed store. It was a cute little space, filled with garden decor and some succulents and a small supply of seeds. There's a garden right next to the store that has beautiful roses and some veggie garden boxes. It was just such a cute quaint space.

Lastly, we enjoyed the outdoor family space where we played corn hole, soccer, and just layed out drinking sweet tea. One our first visit it was extremely windy. I wasn't expecting so much wind, so watch out for things flying at you.

All in all, our experience was enjoyable. Chip and Jo did such an amazing job building a place for families to just chill, eat and have fun.

Don't go if you are handicapped. They have no empathy. Parking is so far away from buildings across rough gravel even for handicapped. And girl letting people out their emergency exit bottom level door refused to let my handicapped mother in that door. She had to go all the way around and up ramp when she was clearly already having a hard time walking from long walk into site. Very disappointing. Definitely not worth the time.

Not sure what to make of Magnolia. It's like 'World of Coka-Cola' or 'Hershey's Chocolate World' but for fans of Fixer Upper. There are giving stores with products that fit the design aesthetic, a bakery with long lines but quick service, and staff all over the place to help with anything that comes up. There are also food trucks, photo opportunities, seating, and what may be a performance space

This place is crowded and doesn't feel all that connected to the rest of Waco. The Vitek's food truck is great, but the original location is SO close! The family atmosphere is nice, but feels disingenuous. No beer to be found anywhere. Way overpriced knickknacks for sell here. The free trolley is great!

Everything was as presented on Fixer Upper. Items were available for purchase for use or just to keep. Would suggest a visit if you love Fixer Upper. Everything was on a smaller scale I expected from video on TV but very well worth the visit. Thanks Magnolia for a pleasant isit.

Love Magnolia Market at the Silos. The gardens were beautiful, the grounds were set up very nice. My husband said it best - it was like we we were Joanna's guest. Everything has her touch. Can't wait to go back.

Big tourist trap. Love the show but this place is just overpriced home decor. We went on a Monday during the Spring, and the store was so crowded you could barely move. The checkout line was at least 30 minutes long.

This was a place my wife wanted to stop. I am glad we stopped, it was a nice place, well set out, I was surprised that the silos had nothing in them, I thought there would be a store in them. The store was a big building but did not seem to have a ton in it. The prices were a bit high. It was definitely a place for the girls to visit. The park like setting was great for the kids, the food trucks were a nice touch. And yes we (me) bought a few baked goods to try. We were pleasantly surprised on how nice the city of Waco was. We went to the bride and walked the city, nice place to visit. Pretty sure we would not venture back, at least I hope we don't have to....it really was a stop for girls, and did I mention the prices were a high. I am glad that the Gaines family are doing well and bringing people into Waco. We heard that the Silos brought in 2M visitors last year. Glad we stopped in in the middle of the week, would not want to see a weekend.

Before you go check out their tips for your visit on their website! There s free parking behind/beside their place. Come at opening or closing so it isn t super busy. Such a gorgeous place! They really did an amazing job!! It wasn t very busy when we went not long after opening. Such cute decor stuff. Stuff is spendy but so cute!!

A must see!!! I've lived in Austin for 6 years, and so many people say this place is over-rated. Do not listen to them! Better than a lot of museums and......FREE!!! Texas loves Chip and Joanna!!!!

Awesome what those two have done not only for themselves and their family but for Waco. They took something that doesn't look like nothing and made a beautiful place for people to gather and have fun and shop and eat and just hang out! God bless them

Me and my wife went for a day visit and enjoyed the weather and the only thing that could of been better was to actually meet my twin Chip and my favorite girl Joanne. Oh and I slipped and hurt my back so had to call it a day. Haha. Sorry we missed you guys.

Great addition to Waco and a must stop for any fan of the show Fixer Upper. However there are an insane amount of people that visit this food truck haven and indoor decorations store because of the shows popularity. Go early or be prepared to wait in line for a very long time.

Visiting from Hawaii, I made a point to stop at the market. I was not disappointed one bit. The store is nothing short of awesome. Loved everything about the store. Myself and my wife love the show just as much. Chip and Joanna, keep doing great work. We love your show and now your store as well.

Sooo...everybody loves Chip and Jo, we all know that. I do too. Going to Magnolia was a must-do for me. We had a great time. Tip for the day: Go during the week and not on a Sat or Sun. It gets VERY crowded here. The food trucks are ok, but I kind of expected better. The shops are ok as well but everything is mass produced, you wont find the one-of-a-kind treasure finds we see Jo use on the show so often. I can find made in China merchandise anywhere. But it is pretty there, nice enviornment, handicap accessible, wheel chairs available.

Really busy every day of the week, even on a Wednesday morning. Did not have a chance to really look around because there were always so many people shoving by.

Great selection, just wish it wasn't so busy. Good for business I guess!

I really this show, real genuine people that are down to earth, the family love that you see in the balance of work and home life. I tear up at the happiness they give as the newly renovated home is revealed.

I love Chip & Joanna Gaines but was very disappointed in Magnolia Market. The product was nicely displayed but highly overpriced. Also, there was very little color, everything was white, beige or galvanized steel. Not enough variety.

Just to let you know how happy you both guys make our lifes, my 8 years old daughter Michelle she wants to move to Waco. We are from California, actually Im from Peru. You both are the best of my day to get relaxed, just watching you on HGTV. God bless your family. Some day I will save some money to flight to Waco.

We visited the Silo's right before and after Christmas as we were passing thru Waco. I like that they have free parking. (Not advertised but it is there if you drive around the block). My wife loves the show and I have to take her to the Silo's anytime we are in the area. They are a little pricey, but that is to be expected. The Food Trucks in the courtyard are a GREAT IDEA. The Chicken truck near the bathroom is GREAT. The kids playing in the courtyard make the atmosphere outstanding.

So glad we drove over from our hotel in Dallas to see the Silos! Only wish you were closer to NC so I could take more home! Staff was great, facility is fantastic! We ate lunch out back with the food trucks and incredible green space! Luv luv luv it!! Wish we had seen you and Chip! That would have completed the trip!

We drove from Dallas to visit Magnolia and to eat at the restaurant. There was a 3 hour wait at the restaurant so we ate someplace else. Magnolia was ok but not all the hype everyone talks about. Way over priced. We all decided it was nice to say we had been there but all agreed it was not worth going back.

Everything was really nice and the place was packed, even on new year's eve. With all the traffic they get, product pricing was ridiculously high. Seems they fancy themselves akin to Pottery Barn. ($28 for an 8oz wood wick jar candle to give you an idea.)

Sorry we love Chip and Jo but this was a bit of a disappointment for us. Expect large crowds, long lines and even parking issues.
Beautiful Grounds and design as you would expect and this was our favorite part but just to touristy for us. The store offered lots of trinkets and souvenirs but nothing that screamed take me home. Just typical tourist type of fare. It is obviously the big attraction in Waco and it looks to be very successful which is good for the local economy and the surrounding businesses which we enjoyed.
Worth a look if your in the area I guess and like tourist traps!

Very very busy, I am not sure if it s fully worth the wait because we didn t go to the bakery. There isn t a lot to do here. I feel like if your in the area and you like the Fixer Upper family, go. If not don t waste your time. Also if you want souvenirs from here, get them on their website.. there is so much more there than at the store and you get the same deals they give here. All in all. I m glad I saw it, but I wouldn t waste 3 1/2 hours of my life to ever come back to see the bakery.

This is one of the most unique places I've been to. It's a market, and a food court, and a lounge area, and all of it is well kept up! The style is great! It truly is a great experience! Check it out!

The atmosphere at the Silos is really fun with the green and the food trucks and the garden area. The store is actually a little small and has the products that you can see in the online store. I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers expected... yes, the products are made in China and are kind of expensive. I don't think they ever claimed to hand make their stuff! To sum it up- we were driving through (we're from PA) and felt that it was worth stopping at the Silos and Waco, but I wouldn't plan a long distance trip around it.
