I was born here in Waco and planning on moving back here in the next 3 months. We love watching Fixer Upper too! :)

More than the show Fixer Upper - I love what Joana and Chip doing to bring in dreams of the homeowners to live.
Usually in many reality home building shows, we do see some tears of disappointment or frustration - which is a thumbs down for the show.
But with Joana and Chip I have not seen even one such reaction - you could see the true surprise and happiness in the eyes of the homeowners when they do the first walk in - which is my favorite favorite part :)
These couples are also so cute in the TV and love their family involvment.

My wife is a fan of the show #FixerUpper and we headed down to Waco, TX for her birthday. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. Very family oriented and entertaining. Everyone is always talking about how expensive prices are in the market I believe they are reasonable for the art of work you would make in your home.

Such a unique and friendly place. Market place is huge and they have all kinds of things. T-shirts, soaps, decorative flowers,signs,books,etc. very fun place to shop. Staff from every store is extra friendly and helpful. Baked goods delicious. This place is great for groups and family too. They sell a variety of kettle corn!

The food trucks have awesome food! It's got a pretty cool vibe. Was fun to visit

I enjoyed seeing Chip and Joanne's ideas come to fruition in their shop. I convinced my husband to stop at Magnolia on our way home from San Antonio, for cupcakes. The cupcakes are the best part of the visit.

Went here on Tuesday after a conference and I really enjoyed myself. To be honest the products at Magnolia are a little over priced, but I love that everything is locally made and so unique. The items that they have you really will not find anywhere else and the way that they present them in their store give you such great decorating ideas. Also, the store makes you feel right at home! Lastly, the staff are so nice and kind. They take the time to speak with you and ask you how you are and have a conversation.

Across from the main store is the bakery which has tons of tasty and sweet treats. Behind that is this amazing open space with chairs, benches, and a garden. Magnolia just makes you feel at home and I definitely will be back!

The selection was unique and the place was cozy and quaint.

Place was beautiful. Prices was a little high. They need more people to check out. Had to wait a little longer than you should.

I was very excited to get to see the silos and go to the market. On Saturday, I picked up a cookbook and headed to the register. While in line I realized the book said 19.99 USD visibly, but they had it listed as $25.00, my brother in law said we should get them to give it to me for the lower price since the $19.99 wasn't covered. A girl directing people to registers turns around and rudely says "I can hear you" and then proceeds to try to tell me that it's probably the Canada price. When I show her it says USD she shrugs her shoulders and tells me that's the price, and there's nothing that can be done. Then as if she finally realized how rude she was being she turned back around tried to tell me I can ask them to lower the price, but it was too late at that point as she had soiled my trip, and I placed the book back in the shelves leaving shortly after that. I doubt I'll return after that type of customer service experience.

Go. Just go. Well done. Big store remodeled and now carrying products that represents the Fixer Upper tv show. Awesome bakery. Just go.

Magnolia offers a fun and relaxing family atmosphere.

This was a great place to go and hang out. If you want to hit the bakery, go early. It opens at 730 where the market opens at 9. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. It is a great experience from start to finish. The food trucks hadn't opened when we left but we went back after they did and it was great! My wife, sister-in-law and mother-in-law had a great time since they love the show. I'll admit, I really enjoyed it too! I really wish that I could meet the Gaines' and let them know that what they have done for Waco and their fans has been very inspiring. God has definitely blessed them because they live out their faith in all they do.

Awesome place to visit! The Baked goods were amazing and the shops were so neat! Plan on going early. Arrived around 930am and were finished around 1130am. The lines weren't too bad when we got there but when we were leaving they were pretty long.

I love this show and the quality of their work. But especially the love they have for one another and their children is so uplifting. Hope we keep having such a positive example on television in our nation.

Very, very fun place to visit. Great for children, adults & families. Lots of photos opportunities. Friendliest & most helpful employees. They are always smiling.

How fun! Came from California to experience this and definitely worth it. So nice to see Joann's creative items in person. Young kids working hard to help you take a piece of what the sell quickly.

It's a neat place to visit although items are overpriced. One of the staff members was very rude and refused to take a picture of me and my husband there but the food trucks outside of it we're very friendly and made the experience better.

Great job revitalizing an area that looks like it needed it. The only disappointing thing, all of the clothing, decorations and collectibles were made in China. As a Viet Nam Vet I am very disappointed.

My wife loved it. Plenty of staff to help you if you so need it.

Fun location. A money machine for Chip and Joanna. Loved it.

The staff was super friendly and the grounds were beautiful. My son and I had a blast playing on the yard while my wife looked four souvenirs.

I know everyone is in love with this place but let's be honest: if it weren't owned by celebrities, you'd be over it by now.

The items in the store are cute but WAY over priced. The place is jam packed on weekends - as in "line out the door" packed.

I will say that the vibe of the courtyard is great. Kids can play, you can eat and relax. It's a fun place, I would just never spend money in the hyped-up ridiculous store everyone thinks will transform their house. I'm sure Chip and Joanna are nice people but Target has similar stuff for 1/2 the price.

Very expensive! Oh yeah, you have 5 kiddos, ha ha. Long waits, tourist trap. Friendly people.

Experience was wonderful! Staff was very helpful and we loved how kid friendly the whole experience was.

Beautiful store. Don't forget to buy sweets in the front building while you're there. Always crowded so don't be in a rush. Worth the wait.

Wow! The desserts were awesome! Strawberry & carrot cake cupcakes were great! The biscuit with cheese and bacon oh my! The shopping at the Silo was fun! So much to look at! It's a bright, beautiful and amazing place!

It is a beautiful place. The merchandise is very disappointing. Extremely expensive and nothing I had to have. I enjoyed her collection more at Target. The food trucks were a wonderful selection and great prices.

Magnolia is an awesome Waco stop. It is always busy and filled with travelers and locals. Many of the items in the store are also featured on the Fixer Upper TV series.

Crazy busy. Not a whole lot going on, but it sure is the epicenter of Waco right now. Just traveling around on the free trolly brings you past some really scuzzy parts of town.

Parking was free, but the gravel they dumped got all over the place. Almost like tracking flour into your vehicle.

Bakery line was out the door and down the street. Didn t bother going.



Pricing was ridiculous. A board that said Kitchen made in China was $85. Basically another variant of Pottery Barn.

If you re a male, and being dragged here, there is a pretty big food truck selection and seating area. Just sit out there and play on your phone.

Help is always excellent.
The grounds are the neatest and cleanest I've seen for a venue like this.
This is a must stop in Waco.

Must see if you are in the Waco area! I was surprisingly impressed!

This place is lovely. If you're a big fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines, this place depicts their style. Be prepared to pay top dollar. There's also an area to hang out for kids so it's a family friendly place. Kudos to the Gaines in bringing waco back on the map in a positive light.

I was not really impressed with the place. The bakery had a very long line. The home decor part is nice and extremely busy. Everything there is way over priced (I'm sorry but no candle is worth $26). The staff was nice and polite and the local transit runs a free shuttle to right in front.

Has such a nice day there with hubby! Love the cupcakes and cookies.

Should have checked the hours first because apparently EVERYTHING is closed on Sundays except for museums. However, after reading that approximately 20k visitors come here every week and how overpriced everything is, I am kinda glad it was closed. We went to the Dr. Pepper museum instead. Probably won't make the 2-3 hour drive again.

It was VERY CROWDED as expected. The bathroom is a ridiculous plan with 3 stalls and 1 sink for 10,000 women customers. Line had to stand outside in the heat and the layout of the bathroom made it awkward to get in and out. Will use bathroom before arriving in the future. I purchased a shirt and got it home and it has a big hole in it where it's not properly sewn. I imagine it will be a nightmare to return. I held for 10 minutes only to be transferred to voicemail. We shall see... the other things I wanted were sold out along with most of the food in the trucks. Never made it to the bakery since the line was around the block. I did really like the stores around this store since they had more things, better prices and... AC! Still love you JoAnna and Chip but shame on you with that ridiculous bathroom plan~

Okay. This place is popular as all get out. Maybe a little too popular, to my liking. But so glad seeing what this couple is doing in and for Waco.

Awesome place to visit when in Waco. Great family atmosphere. Crowds can definitely get big, but worth it for a fun detour or afternoon getaway.

The bakery is incredible. Light, airy and delicious cupcakes and fun drinks. And I LOVE the cute recyclable wooden forks!
The vibe of the market is fun and family oriented. Lawn games, food trucks, ice cream & popcorn...inside, super cute merch. The gardening section is fabulous! But...I know, there's a but...
EVERYTHING in the shop is made in China and sooo pricy .
Although it was a fun visit, we only walked away with cupcakes, water and popcorn.

The bakery is excellent but an hour wait to get in.

Very much enjoyed our visit to The Silos! Was a bit crowded, but that is to be expected when visiting a tourist attraction. If it wasn't such a great place to visit, eat from food trucks and just sit and watch people, then all you curmudgeonous hermits would probably enjoy it more.

This is my favorite show on the network. Chip and Jo-Jo are a delightful couple. He has the brawn and she has the vision. I love EVERYTHING she does to houses and wish I could hire them myself.

I loved the store. I was wanting to go here for months so when we visited texas we drove a couple hours to see all the magnolia businesses. Everyone was so kind, they even offer military discount! My only negative was that the cashier somehow forgot to put the magnet I bought in the bag. I had to buy it again online :( at least the item that was left out was on sale but still. Very upset

Nice place to visit, on the expensive side, didn't purchase anything! Love the food trucks, good variety.

My husband and I visited yesterday 04/141/8, Saturday, and we had a great time. A wonderful place for families, the outdoor area is phenomenal, children and adult alike playing games and just relaxing on the swings or humongous beanbags. The food trucks are amazing, the Silos Bakery is a must. Their cupcakes are fresh and tasteful.
As much as we enjoyed it, I was a little disappointed with the store. Ridiculously overpriced for items made in CHINA. I purchased a few items, but, only those made in the USA. The GREENHOUSE candle has an amazing smell and I bought two of them. I rather pay more for those items made in the USA.
Another negative thing we encountered was the RESTROOM issues, not enough restrooms for such a huge facility. I waited 20 minutes to use the restroom inside the store. The outside restrooms had a longer wait.
Other then a few glitches, anyone passing by Waco MUST visit this place. The children will love it.
I gave to say Chip and Joanna had a brilliant idea.
Thank you both for the work you have done I. Your community and thank you for your support to OUR MILITARY(discount when you purchase anything in the store) we appreciate that.
I will definitely return!
