MadLife Stage and Studios Review

Great place to come any day of the week to enjoy local live music. As for the food, I had the chicken Piccata and it was not good; very bland and watery.

The Mac-n-Cheese balls were pretty good, not very cheesy but they did have a sauce on top that added a kick. I wish the BBQ Pork sandwich had more sauce on it or the meat was tossed in it. It definitely could have used more. The fries were really. Overall pretty good food.

I had a great time at MadLife last night. The food was good and the show was amazing. The staff was very friendly and genuinely thanked us for coming out. My one complaint was the blackened chicken on the blackened chicken pasta is inedible. The noodles and the sauce were delicious but the chicken had so much seasoning and salt on it, I couldn t eat it.

Came to see the Pink Floyd tribute and it was magnificent. We will be back.

It was nice but a bit pricey. $13 for a single margarita was rediculous.

Really nice set-up on stage, seating is a mess though.

Love this place! We've been to two tribute band shows here and had a blast. The first time we had tickets for a table up front, which was a great view, and the second time we just got "standing room." That meant just standing off to the side and trying to not be in the way. Still a good value and good views no matter where you sit/stand, but next time I'll just spring for a table seat for just a few dollars more. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Good cocktails, haven't tried the food.

Quite possibly my new favorite restaurant! The trout with spaghetti squash and shaved brussel sprouts tasted absolutely incredible!

Great indoor and outdoor live music venue. Good pub food and great beer selection. Family friendly.

Wonderful venue for a casual bite to eat, drink and of course, Live Music. How great is that, these days, right? Terrific area, parking is a challenge but it's well worth the trip.

I can't wait to go back! Live music, local beer, and great food.

All dishes was great, except one which was cold when server brought in.

Food was good. Everyone was friendly in here. They have live musicians outside on their patio.

High priced bar food. Average. Bottled beer was not cold enough.

We sat on the patio and saw a young artist named Grace Milton. She was great!! The service...not so much. The waitress sis not even appear at our table to take our drink order for at least 10 min. When she did, she had a very bad attitude and no smile. We saw her spill a beer on a man. She picked it up, did not apologize or offer to clean it up and then served that bottle od beer to someone else. Very slow service, limited food selection and food was nothing to write home about. Grace, the singer, was the only reason we stayed.

Mad Life has quickly become one of our favorite spots for live music. We also appreciate the efforts they've taken lately to keep everyone safe and healthy. Amazing music, great staff, and an unbelievable light show!

Nice venue, good food, good drinks. Only complaint was the ridiculously tiny tables - with 4 adults drinking, we could barely fit our appetizer on the table.

The line up of shows at MadLife is great! I recently saw an ABBA cover band and they were amazing! The venue is very nice and the food delicious!! They have comedy shows and all kinds of music and I interested in seeing their dueling pianos at some point soon! Love that they have an outdoor covered bar area!!

Fantastic food! The fried Brussels are so good, the seasond beef they use for their burgers to the atmosphere and staff.... all around a great place!! Fries were cold when my husband got his food but will still give 5 stars if the next time we go that doesn't happen. Betting on a fluke on the fries.

We have been coming here for several years and the service has gotten worse, ESPECIALLY on nights when they have shows. Used to come on bike nights, once again, service was below average...
The food is very good, but service sucks, we literally waited 10 min. Before we even saw a waitress, I know 10 min. Big deal.. well our waitress was also doing a show, the manager who is always on her phone, didn't even bother to come and say hello, or tell us our waitress will be here shortly, she sits in the corner on the phone, this isn't the first time we have noticed this. After waiting for someone to come to our table, I finally asked her where our waitress was, yep... on her phone, looked at me funny, and went and found one for us..I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone who would like a quick bite while out, as it will not be quick.

Mediocre service, kitchen so disorganized that half our party has eaten before the others has even gotten our food, when they are not even busy.

Will not be back.

Very small menu. Went for lunch. Pricey menu for basic lunch items. Would not return or recommend.

MadLife is sort of two places in one. It's a restaurant and bar in the front and more of a concert venue in the back. I've never had a bad experience up at the front. In fact, this is my favorite place in Woodstock to call Uber from. But both of the concerts I've gone to here, I've left feeling like that should have gone better. Nothing major, but the tickets to the last event were $2.50 more than what was quoted on the website. I mentioned this to the guy and he just says, well we raised it this morning. I mean, not a huge issue but really?

The drinks, appetizer and music were great. I can't comment on the other food because, an hour after ordering, it still hadn't come. We offered to pay for what we had gotten, but after the waiter talked to the manager they comped the whole check. They weren't that busy and others around us were getting their food with a reasonable wait. Not a good first impression. We may try them again, but it will be a while if we do.

We tried again 5 months later and it was great.

Although the place has a unique environment and the whole "attached concert venue" thing is neat, but when you are unable to provide service in a reasonably timely manner to the restaurant which is open at the same time as the venue, you have a problem. The menu selection was OK but nothing really stood out. This certainly would be a great place to go to have a drink and see a show, but I don't recommend going to try to eat.

Last night was our first time going to madlife. Good atmosphere but super loud . The food was awful.
We both had the fried chicken. It had a weird plasticy flavor and was inedible.
The fried green tomatoes were terrible as well. They had the same weird flavor as the chicken.....the wife had trout which was just ok because it was so salty.
We probably wont be back

This is an incredible venue that provides the platform for an unforgettable experience!

My wife Amy and I had a delicious Veggie Omelette with hash brown potatoes and topped it off with some amazing Pancakes with strawberries. Highly recommended. Excellent & Friendly service! Live music in the Patio was a plus! Our Thanks to our friend and Master Chef, Ms. Cherry, She's Amazing in the kitchen and a Great & friendly personality!
(Note to the Boss: Ms. Cherry deserves a salary increase!)

The waiter was super nice and the performance space was pleasant.

Since concerts have been canceled this year, MadLife has become my family and I's safe haven. The food is great, prices for tickets are reasonable, and the bands are worth the watch. If you go, get their drink Love Potion. It's my favorite!

Great addition to the Downtown Woodstock area that has live bands, open mic night, comedy shows, dueling piano shows...and also has a great restaurant. Great place for date or night out with friends.

Would go again but the food is pricely. $30 steak. Would eat elsewhere if on a budget then go see the show in the venue. Wonderful show. Rumors who is doing covers of Fleetwood Mac. Great!

Great place with a dog-friendly patio. Nice brunch menu with cheap bloody Marys and mimosas.

Fun atmosphere! Good food. Dueling piano team were talented and great with the crowd. Looking forward to coming back to see the cover bands as well.

This was alot of fun, I saw the dueling pianos and had Steak in the lounge for a company dinner. The workers are awesome and friendly which makes it so much better. Always ask if you have an issue they will gladly compensate if possible

Loved the seasonal menu ... Enjoyed the pimiento cheese "charcuterie" plate, burgers decent... However, I've been multiple times and felt like tickets were a little pricey for some shows. My favorite is the local talent nights.
