Pecan trout was tough and flavorless. Chee burger was odd tasting and unpleasant. If you like this restaurant, go and go often, because they will not be around long. Service was good though.

Love this venue. Great service tonight. Slippery When Wet was rocking. My second time seeing them. What a great band, so committed to depicting the real Jon Bon Jovi. Absolutely wonderful experience.

My wife and I visited about a month ago for dinner then Thunderstruck, the AC/DC cover band. We were totally impressed with the food, service ,the music venue and Thunderstruck absolutely rocked the joint. We've been back twice for dinner since and let's just say the first time was NOT a fluke. Already purchased tickets to a couple other upcoming shows which of course will be preceded by dinner. What an impressive blend of concepts that one might not think would work together, they blend it perfectly and we love it! If your an AC/DC fan go see Thunderstruck wherever you see they are playing...you will not be disappointed!

Food is pretty good, not great, but some interesting menu selections and basic burgers. The venue side is definitely awesome. Drinks are a little pricey, but a cool needed spot for downtown Woodstock. I just don't like that they have tables right at the front of the stage. I understand having high top tables toward the back, but tables in the front blocks having a good dance area.

They have a lot of fun cover bands. Prince tribute was awesome and looking forward to journey tribute next week.

If owners read this, this place would be awesome for a Spazmatics franchise. Just a suggestion. Saw them in Dallas and they would be awesome here.

Let me start out by saying I really like this venue. I would say closer to 5 stars. Also our server was five star. And the band was also 5 star. I saw Red Zeppelin and they were awesome. So why the 1 star? I helped the band unload after the performance only to find that the valet had left and they said my key was locked up! When I went to the bar area and they were still cleaning up, I got a completely snarky remark from the bartender. "If you are looking for your keys NOW, you don't need to be driving" remark, that lacked any sense of compassion or understanding for the fact that I was now stranded in Woodstock and was going to have to LYFT home and then LYFT BACK to pick up my car. ( 40 minutes each way)

I was not told anything by the valet attendant about the policy and I am mystified as to why they would not leave the keys with the wait or bar staff and then lock the key up last. Lastly, one of the staff showed me a sign outside that says, you have to get your keys before the valet leaves and they are NOT responsible for your car overnight.

Well, a sign is well and good, but who reads that board in the dark on the way into a concert? Perhaps if the valet actually mentioned the policy it would help! Or an announcement at the end of the show would be good.... or having someone walk through the venue and find the owner of the key? No, lets just lock the key up and the customer be damned. I mean, we posted a SIGN!

The outside SIGN is a poor way of getting out of bad service, after the fact. Don't leave people stranded MAD LIFE. Its not cool.

Venue is really nice and the acoustics are really good for a bar/venue and again I liked our server, but the more I think about this, the more of a low moment it has become.

Had a good time here a few weeks ago. They have a great sound system and every seat gives you a good view of the stage. The food is a little pricey. Service at the tables is okay. If you like music and don't want to travel to Atlanta, keep an eye on the bands here.

Went there last night, 11/20, to see Shyanne play. We got there early to eat before the show and the food was terrible. I first ordered the street tacos, and the fried green tomatoes. They were both awful. I then asked for the grilled chicken sandwich, because how can you mess that up! Well they figured out how. So, I ended up spending $35 on French fries, and that's with them taking the street tacos off my bill. Also, my coke was flat.

But, I was impressed with the venue itself. Very fun atmosphere. I would recommend eating somewhere else before the show!

We ordered the tacos and had to return them. They were so dry we couldn't eat them and they had no flavor at all. Definitely wont order food there anymore. The wait staff was very friendly and the manager offered to give us a free dessert but we declined the offer since we don't eat sweets. Great music place so I will go back for that but will definitely eat before I go.

We were walking around the square looking for a place to eat and there were few people inside so we decided to give it a try .... what a Great decision! The service could not have been better and Tiffany checked on us often! Girlfriend had the fried chicken and I had the hot Turkey and bacon and cheese samich, and they were both Outstanding!! The cinnamon bread pudding was just as awesome! We'll definitely be back!

It was okay. We went for the music. The prices on the food were pricey. Drink prices were totally redickles. Over all it was nice but couldn't afford to make it a monthly night out. Not to mention most of the staff seemed like they didn't want to be there.

EXPENSIVE food for not a large amount. Service is fair to middling. Cool outside patio seating and outdoor music. As for the inside stage part, the sound system is great, bands always sound incredible there, but the MadLife Battle of the Bands "voting" system is a JOKE. You have to cheer loudest for the band you think should win, so everyone that came in to support their friend will just stand right next to the microphone and scream and beat into it. Stupid idea. Put the microphone on the stage and measure it from there to prevent cheating like that. There's never any parking, you have to park down below on Fowler Street at the Bank of the Ozarks or near the apartments.

We went to see Liliac and it was a great show. The service was great. They were very accommodating of my wheelchair even though I wasn't able to notify them early. All the tables were spaced far apart.

Back in downtown Woodstock, music fans should reserve some time for MadLife Stage & Studios, an excellent performance space with regular live music.

Its indoor stage offers intimate gig experiences, with less than 300 tickets available for each performance. The table-studded space also gives it a laid-back bar feel.

Outside, when the weather is good (and this is Georgia remember) MadLife is also able to boast a patio stage. The onsite grill serves food throughout the day, with a menu of takes on traditional southern flavours.

Unusually for such an establishment, this is a scratch kitchen, meaning everything is made and cooked in house, with the chefs going as far as smoking their own meat.

Food was fair. There was music playing in the dining area at the same time a band was playing making for a crazy loud experience and the inability to listen to either one. Valet was full so parking was problematic. We had a reservation on Open Table that they didn't have in their system, but luckily they were able to seat us anyway. Best thing we had was the street tacos; tasty!

$$ Wife and I saw "Departure" The Journey Tribute band here. We also ate and had drinks. The food was quite good, the service was excellent and the band was great. Nice venue at a reasonable price. Highly recommended visit for locals and visitors alike.

Met friends at MadLife for dinner and a comedy show. Ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The chicken was not seasoned and was tough, nothing tasted great, just ok. The comedy show was good and most of the comedians were funny? May give it another try in the spring time
