Much better than expected. We recommend.

At first I did not want to go in there but it really convinced me.

Exceeded our expectations. A real must see when in new York. Got own wax hand made too.
Amazing place but I think they should do away with their multi-tier pricing structure. It should be, "pay one price" and see it all. The Avengers section is a must see, especially if your children (or you) love superheroes :-)
Very nice place and I share previous comments very good quality of the statues and the very good tour
The characters are very well staged, we have a lot of fun. Great diversity of personalities. Great time
This Museum is great and very interesting place to know history or famous people around the world
Good place to have pictures with your fav celebrity, around time Square, has restrooms on every second floor
So very worth the money! My daughter loved It! And so did I! Trump is much better looking, though. Only bad part was the very nasty cashier in the front in forming me to get away her line was closed.
Take a picture with your favorite actor / singer / model....
Madame Tussauds New York. We were at the museum around 8pm when most of the tourists return to the hotels, there was not a lot of queue to get to the controls and then to get the ticket
presenting the New York Pass. The visit lasts about an hour, including 3D movies about Marvel heroes. It's worth seeing how many celebrities you can take a selfie with. It costs $ 35 without a pass. Very beautiful.
Very fun spot to stop. I hate that they nickel and dime you when you are going through. Prices for the picture should be up front when you get your tickets.
From the queue, but incredible museum!
Clearly worth the detour!
So this exhibit is part of the Explorer Pass approved spots so we were on our last day in NYC so we were like - let's do it. I would have to say that I'm glad I didn't pay for it. They charge between 34 and 39 for tickets at the door to see this exhibit. Woof! I mean, there arw like 4 or 5 floors of people to look at...just strange really.
Went here for the wax sculptures and the special Ghostbusters exhibit. I couldn't be happier! The displays were really well done. The Ghostbusters exhibit was tastful and very interesting. We checked out the virtual reality exhibit which was light-years better than any VR I've tried! Wow. Incredible job, guys.
My family took me here for my birthday and it was the best time
We had so much fun!! Great experience, self guided, but very easy to walk trough and you can take pictures with all the characters. If you are visiting Times Square, dont miss it.
I have visited it twice and it seems increasingly fun and interesting. Pure fun for kids and adults, where you can interact with the imitations of your favorite stars.
We were in early so relatively quiet with good photo oppertunities. The 4D marvel show was supposed to run every 10 min but after waiting for 25 min we gave up. You walk through it , when quiet, in about 40-50 min.
cool ... albeit a byk that does not know its characters .. #LetsGuide
Very good experience to start getting to know New York. I recommend it, visit without hesitation. The works are fantastic.
As I read on some comments, it's a nice attraction but I don't think it worth it if you're in NY for 1 week or less. It's quite expansive (37$) even if I can imagine all the work to create all those wax statues. If you've got the NY pass, you can "rush" it because it's included but really there are plenty of things to see in NY, better than this if your time is limited.
He is the first one I know, I liked it, but the statues are so many years that seeing Morgan Freeman 20 years ago is like weird! Some are very well achieved, others are not similar. The place is big, you can stay as long as you want. The best and make sure you include the entry is Marvel you have 20 minutes of excellent 4d cinema, the best of all the museum. It is not advisable to go to a schedule after 5:00 pm because it is full of people and you can not take photos with the figures that you like. Very well armed to take funny pictures. They should update the statues a bit!
Laugh and enjoy.
A Must Visit, visit the wax museum with a good camera, a suitable outfit (if you want to match the artists' gala, the sportswear of the stars of the sport, the real costume of the superheroes or the casual style of extravagant faces of cinema and television).
Take a good camera and aim at the eyes of the artists to make it look even more real.
Go with your friends or with someone to hold your belongings and take your pictures.
Selfies come out good but you'll want photos of complete television studios with their presenters or one with the entire royal family.
A very interesting museum with some very cheerful entertainers. The congratulations make the visit to the Museum something spectacular
Buy tickets online to jump loooong queues.. always busy.. get a good camera... 86 floor is same as 102.. I did not feel any difference.
I gotta admit this place was way more fun than I expected a wax museum to be! All kinds of statues spread over 4 or 5 floors. A fun time to be had by all, kiddos and grown ups too. Lines moved pretty fast throughout. Don't pay full price, there are discounts and passes to be had everywhere.
A kind of pilgrimage, circus attraction. Compared to the really great NYC attractions disappointment. The price is exaggerated.
Excellent! funny! ideal to visit alone or with family. the wax characters are very well made.
Wax people were extremely realistic almost creepy but cool.
Beautiful place. The Wolf of Miramar, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Super Thenenwelt with Michael Jackson's Habdabdruck at the end.
Madam Tussauds was great, but the wax section feels a bit outdated, other than that it is a great experience to go in there and enjoy ghost busters
Super fun, the statues are realistic, apart from the other attractions ... I recommend it to everyone!
Interesting but some figures do not look like the person at all
The wax figures looked super realistic and I would definitely recommend going here if you have a spare 45 minutes
It's Madame Tussauds so you know what to expect but yes it's a good one and the 4d thing is good too.
Wonderful, I loved everything. Especially the part of Ghostbusters that we play virtually, but it seems very real.
This place is good the characters seem real they have to go it is a brutal experience I enjoyed it very much
The four stars are because I thought there would be even more celebrities than there actually were. I always wanted to visit this museum as I heard so much about it. I enjoyed it a lot, but was expecting even more.
If you are going to visit Madame Tussauds make sure you have spent pretty much time for getting ready, because you are about to take lots of pics with "celebs" and gonna share it ;)
The waxworks themselves are very good but it is very small and takes only a hour to look around
Really funny, but some of the figures didn't look real at all
Great fun. It is possible to take pictures pretending to interact with the puppets, which are perfect.
In contrast to London, this is a 5 on a scale of up to 10, but it is current. The Trump is there too. Some areas are only possible for an extra charge, typical for the Americans. With explorer pass no waiting time. It's the best investment for a NYC trip.
Nice to see all those famous Americans. Do not have in the Netherlands.
Too much crowd, disappointing. Obligatory path created specifically for people who want to take pictures for social media. We wasted an hour of our visit to NY
The stuff is very nice! The wax figures are awesome.
I had a lot of fun with the very detailed maniquis, a must visit
Some of the work is so off to be compared to the real person
He spends a fun and different time. It's amazing how replicas can seem so real.
Some of the sculptures were good. Half of them I'd never heard of. The sculpture of President Trump was defamatory.
Staff is not nice at all, very grumpy. There wasn't any hospitality.
Almost every sculpture is american and not international, which is a big shame.
I bought this package with Empire state and liberty boat cruise from Grey Hound tours from Groupon. Awesome deal.
