Honestly thought we would hate it, but it was a ton of fun! More to it than just looking at waxed celebrities. If you're borderline, don't me.
Too expensive and too many figures only Americans know. We entered the Gal Gadot road (no name) and got Golda Meir
It is a really great place to visit with your family or date. The place will have your attention and you'll enjoy your time!
A fun way to spend about an hour. Way overpriced though. Luckily they accept the New York Pass (highly recommended if you use it wisely and you re planning on visiting many places)
Expensive, probably good if you know a lot of celebrities, but smaller than you might think. Some statues are disturbingly realistic.
What an amazing experience. Ghostbusters: Hyper reality game is worth playing. Best VR game I have ever played is here at Madame Tussauds. 100 times better than the Washington DC one.
Good for one time visit ..
They said they will upgrade the place every 3 months but feel like worth for only one time.
Keep your mobile or camera battery full .. statues are very nice and looks very real .. kids will also love it ..
Look for discounts on Groupon .. we got ticket for $25
I've visited Madame Tussauds in Vegas & DC... and NYC is the best one. This was my 4th time visiting.
Great for having photos of celebrity's wax real life figure. You would not almost tell the difference. Would be better if you go morning.
WARNING TOURIST TRAP !!!!!! I'm a new Yorker and I'm telling you guys right now this is a over priced and short visit not only will you be spending over a 100 dollars for a 30 to 20 minute visit at this terrible museum of wax you will be More
This place is always kool to visit. Most of the statues look mad life like. I can never get enough of seeing J-Lo. That's my girl right there. I'm always about 5 seconds from hugging the damn thing when I'm there. Good atmosphere at this spot. Take your time and just gaze
Some figures are a bit outdated such as pop stars with older looks but overall it is enjoyable
It's a nice place I think it is better than other cities, I went to New York. The personal is very nice they are always available to help.
Very cool! Although I expected to see more figures. The dolls seem real, recommended.
Super fun!! An original walk to spend a different time. Some characters are very successful and others not so much. A feature with a 4D short is offered. It is advisable to buy the tickets in the premises since they offer discounts on the street before entering.
Very nice walk, the figures almost real, well organized, you can walk as you want. recommendable
Hard to get pictures people just push in. The Royals are fabulous.
The smart way to realize your dreams of getting photographed with the celebrities, famous people and historic legends. Not many of the expected celebrities are covered here at this location but they keep improving the experience by adding more figures. We can also get our own wax figures of hands at this location. And there are also small shows for the fans. And one suggestions is to check online discounts and coupons to buy tickets online at cheaper prices and also to avoid big lines at the actual location to get tickets.
great place, love it so much. the employee are rude and thats because of the amount of visitors visiting every day. no respect to visitors yelling on them.
you can have a lot of fun taking pictures with celebrities and you'll be surprised from thier actual size.
buying tickets online make it easier, faster and cheaper. skipping the long line when you have online tickets, no printing needed and you can purchase it online from your phone on site and use it immediately.
Very good, worth it ... They look real! It is even scary to look at them a lot it seems that at any moment they will come to life ... The ghostbusters part is very fun!
Expect something to see many more times and you'll never get tired
Not as good as expected. Very expensive and kind of boring after a while.
A great place to visit if you want to kill time waiting for a Broadway show, dinner appointment or anything else for that matter! I needed to escape the blizzard at the time and this was a great distraction.
2nd visit here and you can see the difference with how they updated their marketing strategy as they want you to pay extra for a better experience, dont know why places like this do this kinda thing.
The displays we did see were fantastic and you get real close for photos. The place was clean and the staff were fantastic.
You gotta do a Tussauds sometime and this is a good one (could be better if they didn't go for extra from you), try it and have a laugh with the waxworks.
Me and my family had a great time here. Taking pictures with so many famous people and celebrities
Must see and visit if u have been there..Very popular for a family get together and tourist attraction...very close to all stores and train stations
The entrance is a bit expensive for the duration of the tour. The experience in 4D Cinema is good and worth it.
Very good place, interesting and fun. You can take pictures with the sculptures!
Awesome place and must see place while visiting New York, although don t compare it with the UK Madame Tussauds due to more variety of wax figures.
Take the discount coupons handed over to you outside as they come in very handy when you are buying tickets.
Included in nyc pass. The marvel 4d cinema is extra but worth it if you are a fan
Too expensive, for itself what it is, because you also see it with millions of people around you. The one in London and Amsterdam sooo much better.
Buy tickets online will save your money,if you have time, you can try here with your kids, but be careful of the scary subway.
Really nice. I liked the spooky part the best, they should make it a bigger place to put the new stuff.
Expensive, but worth it, stroll calmly and attentively, it is a mandatory stop, although it is no better than Paris.
it was nice... not a lot of heroes and people but it was still worth it.
So much fun!! Only downfall was the extreme long wait in line for tickets.
Awsome real imaging of world renowned leaders & Celebrities
Place to visit and take lots of pictures next to artists, even if they are made of wax.
I found collection at the time less interesting than in London
Only went here because it was raining. It was just OK. Over priced are you are I'm and out in under an hour. Typical attraction on times square
This is a good stop for a kid in the 8 to 15-year-old range. There are several floors of things to see with famous people who are changed out every four months. Some of the wax figures look uncannily like celebrities, and others look slightly off. There is one section that scared the bejeezus out of each of my kids. It's the Ghostbusters section that has a few jolting and noisy surprises that feel worse than they actually are. The price was about $70 for and adult and one kid (there people out front who pass out coupons for discounts).
If you use the New York City pass ticket you get a basic entry but it doesn't include the marvel 4d, or the zombie 3D movie but you can upgrade for about six bucks a ticket
Not worth it a total tourist attraction and not worth your moneys worth everything is outdated cheap and the Museum is smaller than small your paying 100 for a 30 minute experience
OK, gets a bit boring after a while.. And the 3d show was very blah
See all your favourite celebrities...in wax form! I would visit this place once (if you are a tourist) but wouldn't come back...it's pretty overrated.
Unfortunately, few wax figures, find the staging not necessarily appealing. in about 1 hour you go through everything. Only positive: included in the NYC Pass, to pass the time in the rain it's ok.
I love this place! I took my nephew here last weekend and his eyes lite up like a Christmas tree. I believe you get what you paid for. I also ebjenjo getting a wax hand of yourself which is a great souviner to take home. The employees are very informative and sweet but I did come across one who was a bit rude. However they apologized because they had a long day dealing with customers. I understood and they reasurrea me that they wouldn't take their problems out on other customers. I recommend this place to tourists or to any little New Yorkers.
Awesome place...can touch figures and pose with them....fun tine
The $10 margaritas were so gross we had to throw them out but my friend wanted to go so I was forced. Not my thing but she loved it.
Incredible, much better than I expected. The scenes and the characters are very well done, many times I doubted if they were real people. Fully recommended for anyone traveling to New York
