It's a very fun place, but there were the characters that I like

I had a great experience at the New York Madame Tussauds! I was pleasantly surprised by just how realistic the wax models were, it was pretty surreal. Also Taylor Swift was there which made it extra amazing ;)

Very nice to take pictures with the most famous people

Very fun, the wax statues are very well done.

The various attractions are friendly and the staff are very nice and pleasant.

The figures and 4d movie was good, although the void has the best and worst of the place: if it works, is really immersive, but if not, gets very tedious and naseous.

This place is better with friends and family. They update the characters so there is always something new

I expected more to see . the Ghostbusters exhibit wasn't worth it. The 4d movie was cute.

Great experience.... Pleasant environment.. Must visit atleast once.... :)

I've been here twice and I loved it both times. I'll definitely be back when friends or family are visiting and want to go somewhere touristy.

This one is smaller than the one in London, so that is why I am so disappointed.

Very nice people. Thats about it. There was no exhibit. It was literally two floors and 15 figures that did not share the likeness of the celebs. There might have been more but we never got the chance because we were turned in so many circles we gave up. Good tourist trap. Will not be visiting again. Wish i could get my money back.

Not necessarily a must in New York, you do not have much time you should not plan that. In Berlin the house is nicer.
The characters are not really real.
The subjects compartments are funny, eg Ghostbusters, here we were scared.

I have visited several similar museums, but this is one of the best. There are really many accurate mannequins and much more. But for me, the part with Marvel Universe superheroes was the best - Hulk is beast!

Wax models look very real and well designed. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

Very good! Fun, it's like being with celebrities! The very real figures, so you can take advantage and take your photos with your favorite character. If you want to take a photo with the President, or in the presidential office, actresses, models, and many famous people, this is your place. I really recommend it.

So much fun! Awesome place to go. Make sure if you use the NY Pass or City Pass you undertand the Marvel 4D is not included and you have to pay for an upgrade. Manager fixed the misunderstanding and let us do the Marvel for no charge since it is not noted anywhere. Highly reccommend!

Would like to see more A-list African American celebrities. Loved the Obama's!

Been there like 5 times. always had a very good experience. But I live in the Bronx (New York City) & work in Manhattan. If it's your first time. I recommend checking it out. I am sure you will have a good time. A little on the experience side. Especially if you go in a large group. Expect to spend around $35 to $40 per person minimum. They do have discounts...

They are several floors with known figures made in wax. Nice experience...

Amazing. Chocked full of such realistic wax works. Take pictures at the staff stations as well. Good deal on multi buy pictures,(for the kids). BUY the New York Pass for these events. So worthwhile

Definitely better than I expected! We were not disappointed.

The facility is very nice, the layout is interesting but can be hinder some at time when several hundred people are in there. Ok experience just very rushed.

Price performance does not fit here, but it was included in the New York Pass.

Very well done. The Ghostbusters and King Kong exhibits were great. It can get really crowded, so plan your visits carefully. Also, definitely get the online tickets - saves you about 20 minutes from standing in a queue outside the place.

The MUST SEE part was the VR experience. It was mind blowingly cool! The wax statues were surprisingly fun. In heart of Time Square so expect tourists.

This place is a must see if you are in New York. Don t hesitate and go enjoy yourself. Of course, don t forget your camera. With the silver pass, you can watch a short Avengers movie and take pictures with a real size Hulk. Pretty nice. Lot of fun!

I was funny when a lady stood side of wax statue, couldn't see she is real or waxwork, till she smiled.

Would have expected more entertainment stars such as Seinfeld,Jay Z

Excellent local, many actors, singers and public figures. On commemorative dates, you have to wait an hour to get in, but it's worth waiting for.

An amazing experience. The wax statues look remarkably realistic. It was like meeting the person, the height and body measurements are accurate.

You can take pictures with basically anyone you've ever wanted too. They have many famous and important people, from every field, such as Selena Gomez and many other musicians, Albert Einstein and other important scientists, the Royal Family, Serena Williams and other athletes, Donald Trump and other presidents and country leaders(worldwide). And many, many other significant people.

It was an amazing experience meeting wax statues of my idols. I even took selfies with Shah Rukh Khan! Definitely would recommend going here if you visit New York. One of the best attractions of New York City.

Excellent place, better location and in my case I went to the end of the year party half a block from Time Square

This museum has themed exhibits featuring celebrities of different genres and fields. Wax models of actors, directors, scientists, scholars, and so many others were fascinating. I loved the movie themed exhibits of Ghostbusters in NYC. Also, it was a pleasure to see American presidents. My family had a great time here and we spent almost 2 hours in the museum. One interesting thing in the museum was the wax molding of hands being created for some cash. It was great to see the shape of your hands being casted on wax and then painted for you to keep forever. It took only 15 minutes to make this lifetime souvenir. There is also a cafeteria inside for quick munchies.

It is very funny, it has many effects! Really worth it! Also who does not want a photo with his favorite celebrity?

I've been to several Madame Tussauds' but I would say this one is the best. The coolest part is when you first walk in and you are in the middle of a classy ball with famous people. It's definitely worth a visit, even for its high price tag.

Everyone was very friendly! I used the elevator and they wouldn't let me push the button , they did it! We were treated like stars! It was bright and entertaining!

Not as good as the London one but located very close to Times Square. You can combine a visit with Bus Tours. We did it as part of the New York pass

I liked this place it was very fun for my family. It was clean and it had good service and a good atmosphere. I was not a fan of the 4d movie and it was a bit expensive but my family and I enjoyed it.

I have to admit that wax museums are not my thing. However, the quality of reproductions is superb in most cases. The atmosphere very good, all very successful, being able to take pictures with almost any of the figures, in the case of Trump upon payment. Of course, in the oval office.

Overpriced tickets. Few figures, missing the lively look, for which this place is famous.

The best wax museum I've been to. Smaller than the D.C. wax museum, but better because of the artwork and layout. A little pricey and crowded, but that was expected. Worth the time and money for sure.

Not really impressed... No much celebrities... Expected like the one in London..but it was a small one ... But the avenger 4d was kid enjoyable.... The short jungle walk would make kids have little scary fun ....

I was pleasantly surprised at the good experience we had here. I kind of expected the quality to be like a side show at a fair, but it's professionally done. All the wax figures are pretty lifelike. You can get right up next to them for photos. Many of the famous people are here. You can rush through or take all the time you like..

Friendly wax museum I advise. However a lot of people and waiting to enter the museum.

Kind of cool but definitely a tourist trap. Not recommended if you only have limited time in NYC or have a tight budget.
