Our experience here was a good one although I would HIGHLY recommend looking at Groupon USA before going in, our tickets cost us $38 for 2 tickets instead of nearly $50 each!
If you have been to Madame Tussauds London then you have been here, there very similar BUT different all the same!

It wasn t too crowded and the staff let us roam on our own which was great. There are people on the street which give out coupons and the final price of the ticket was relatively cheap. Overall a nice experience.
This place was a disaster. We ordered tickets online and entered through the VIP line. After waiting in the VIP line and we were serviced after the regular line, we were told the ninth floor was closed but could still visit the museum. We went up the stairs and were directed to back stage . There were four employees back stage and did not know what they wanted to do with us. We got shuffled into an elevator and brought to the fifth floor. We were rushed into the 4D theatre, watched the Marvel video and then were told to head downstairs to leave. We told one of the employees we had not seen any wax figures. He said well how did you get here and we explained the above. He was kind and put us on an elevator to the 9th floor. When we got to the 9th floor all of the figures were being moved around. We only saw figures on this floor that was supposed to be out of order . And it was like all the employees had just joined the team and today was their first day. I would NOT recommend going to this. Save your money and do another tourist attraction.
The default tour has a lot of wax statues but definitely not as many as other museums. There are other arractions that make this place worth visiting, but they have an extra cost. The particular attraction that I enjoyed the most was the ghost busters virtual reality activity.

This museum surpassed my expectations. The Marvel 4D show was very nice and we enjoyed tanking pictures
Good fun until you reach the drinks/candies shop inside. All your joy and enthusiasm gets destroyed there.

This is one overpriced museum. The statues are nice, but after one floor, it gets booring. Not worth the money.
We did the celebrity tickets @ $32/person + tax. The website said allow 2 hours. It took us 40 minutes. All the exhibits were very good, however there was not enough. For the money it should have been twice the number of figures. Go to the 911 memorial museum instead. $24/person about about 2-3 hours & very educational.
A good place that should not be missed when touring NY
There are not many toll attractions in Manhattan, which can be viewed in one hour. Just take the elevator to the top floor and go up one floor, then go down to the fifth floor. The charge depends on your consumption attitude!
I like the NY location. They have added alot of fun things besides wax statues of artist. Must go place while visiting NY
I've been to this location and the one in Vegas. But recently took my 14 yr. old cousin who was visiting here and he had fun. the Wax figures definitely look real. Cool touristy location.

A must for new yorker and tourists alike. Decided to make the trip and take the kids to the infamous Madame Tussads. It was a great time. Very realistic statues as well.
My dream was to visit Madame Tussauds New York since I was kid. Worth every penny. Beautiful place.

It is always a great attraction in ny. However we repeat it every time we go. I think once is enough. But the work they do to get to do the characters is spectacular.
The best thing about the museum is the spectacular welcome of the Opening Night Party, a large room set as if it were a party where you can see and photograph yourself with the most fashionable celebrities.
Continuing the visit you will pass through thematic rooms where you will meet with presidents of the United States, musicians, athletes, ideological and military leaders and other famous personalities. The strong point comes from meeting Obama in the Oval office, the photo is surprisingly real!
Stayed in Madame Tussauds because we wanted to bridge time and had entry into our New York Pass. Unfortunately, the show is quite small (compared to Berlin, for example), so we would have been disappointed if we paid the entrance fee. Otherwise nice to go through times, but nothing more.
I am sure one can find much better things to do in New York city for 1/2 the price. Not saying it was bad but the cost didnt justify the excursion.

Beautiful wax museum, they are very well made you can photograph with your favorite artist. There should be a signage of the tour we went through the side of the mirrors and we no longer had access to the second and third floors. But I loved it because they allow you to be res and photograph you as many times as you want. Place to visit unmissable.

It is a nice museum, a little disorganized when passing floors, it lacks more signage.
Unfortunately, expectations were not met. The wax figures were as always good and sometimes very realistic. Everything else seemed a bit run down - especially the 4D cinema. Anyone who has some time can look at it, there are better things to look at during a short trip to NYC.
When you put James Dean then will be five stars.

I don't think Ar / ertek gold does not give as much as. the panoptic london in London, once foolish, but the one who thinks it was better because of New York, and the varos lordo forest, it is better to skip. Then, during the night, nothing was fluttering, I think they have a good wax doll collection.

You have to pay to have the full experience, NY pass does not cover any attraction. They are attractions is not so fun
Entertaining tour with different celebrities. At the beginning you can choose drinks, beers, cocktails and something to eat. The good thing is that you can take all the photos you want and even interact in the scenographies

it was not that big ..not what i expected ..just a few wax figures in small stage like showings ...i expected it to be more grand and breath taking...not worth over 120$ for 3 people ...kinda a tourist rip off save your money ..
I like wax museums and I've had good experience with other Madame Tussauds but the figures here don't seem as real to me as ones I've seen in other places. They don't always look like the people they depict and your can usually tell they are wax. Still, it's a wax museum and that's fun.
The worst place you can go in NYC, there is not costumer service in this place. Terrible experience with the representatives.
This place is pretty cool, some of the wax figures look scarily real, especially Ozzy! I thought he was going to jump out and come to life while I was standing next to him. My favorite part of the whole experience was definitely the Ghostbusters portion and Slimer!
This particular one is overrated. Wouldn't recommend at all.
