I placed an online order to be picked up, by me, at a certain time and it was ready when I got there. The restaurant is following CDC guidelines and has a person ready and waiting, at the door, to help you. The food was delicious, hot and fresh and yes, I will be ordering from here again. I have already sent their menu to 2 of my closest friends.

Good Mac and cheese. I get it to go because I have to.

Tiny diner dishing up many, many varieties of mac'n'cheese. Some versions looked a little "challenging", but I loved my spicy cajun m'n'c. Beware the wait times though - I went on a Saturday night and had to queue for maybe thirty minutes.

Really great Mac and cheese. The variety available is a plus. You can order on your own on a tablet don't have to wait and you can also order to go. I will definitely go back.

Amazing food! Great atmosphere. Got food in a reasonable amount of time. Vegan option limited but available! Definitely recommend!

Great date spot. Recommend splitting 3 of the smallest size so you can try more. Very reasonable prices too

I really liked the old location on E. 33rd better. I went to the east village location and the Mac & Cheese was no where near as good.

Mac & Cheese. It's hard to go wrong with mac & cheese. I had the sampler platter, which was pretty good. They had a large selection of ingredients/choices, but it all seemed ordinary.

You can finally order vegan or gluten free mac and cheese at this establishment. Overall great taste. I did feel like i was goingto have a heart attack after but its so worth it if you truly love mac and cheese. No long waits. Great variety of mac and cheese and i suggest you take train to get here.

I was disappointed with this. The macaroni and cheese was gloopy and gross. I couldn't finish mine. Besides, the restaurant was filled with smoke that smelled like it was from a grease fire. I wish I had gone somewhere else for lunch.

The food was pretty good. I got the Napoletana, they could have added more tomato and more basil. The 4 cheese was delicious. One of the workers had an off putting demeanor, he wasn't very welcoming..

Awesome mac n cheese! Had the buffalo chicken n wife had 4 cheese....both pleasant opposite ends of the mac n cheese spectrum. This place has the light char on top down to a science. One star off for personality of our cashier....was a little difficult/rude for a very simple order.

Food is amazing, but beware how large of a portion you order. You probably want the small one, no matter what your stomach tells you. I had the cheeseburger mac, and loved it, but still ended up taking about half of it home. Heavy stuff.

Its okay but I think overall a let down. I was excited to eat here after all the reviews but I feel like most restaurants people get comfortable and quality goes downhill. Don't go out your way. But if your in the area stop in. There are no waiters you order at a counter and wait to "steal" a seat hopefully everyone else in line is being nice and going in order but this process will turn people away and its close quarters. Be prepared to wait. I believe we were there for 40 mins before we for our food. The mac was meh. The meat in the cheeseburger mac was great but honestly Kraft mac and cheese has more flavor.

It's nice that they offer gluten-free macaroni, and the food is pretty tasty if you love cheese and salt, which I do.

Still, I always feel like I'm paying for more than I'm getting ... which is nothing new in New York. At Sarita's, that extra payment doesn't feel as much like highway robbery as at other places, because the product is tasty and satisfying and, even with a small portion size, pretty filling.

This is good place to go if you've got a rocket-fast metabolism, are gluten-free and want to eat for around ten bucks (if you get a beverage and gluten-free, plain nosh).

Comfort food at its best!!! If you love Mac and Cheese this is the place to be

HORRENDOUS SERVICE. Over 40 minutes to wait on a mac and cheese. I asked 30 minutes in and he said it was going to come out soon then proceeded to start making my order. I never give bad ratings but I don't appreciate a place with horrible customer service. WOULD NEVER COME HERE NOR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

Great choices. I like that you can choose different sizes as well. Very delicious

Pretty good mac and cheese but nothing spectacular in my opinion. The interior was kind of messy.

Family favorite. They get mad if I don't pick up when I am in NYC for work. Flavors for everyone even a great vegan option.

wish I could give more stars but last time was like warm mac and cheese with no flavor. Very disappointed, used to be our favorite.
Update.- My daughter pick up a To go order last night 8/17/19 and it was delicious ! The s'mac that I used to love.....

This place is absolutely amazing. Service, food, options - everything 10/10. I would eat here everyday and only do not out of sheer embarrassment for my lack of control.

Freaking awesome! Simple, delicious, fast eats with a clean dining area, and charging outlets for those new fandangled hand held computer thingies!

This was my first visit to the newer, bigger space. A huge improvement which takes the restaurant away from feeling like college food and creates a feeling of legitimacy. As always, loved the food abs felt like it was well worth the trek to get my gluten free Mac and cheese fix

Delicious mac & cheese. We tried different combinations, allowing ourselves to be advised by the cook. Very friendly at all times. Good price and good mac's. Generous servings and pack to go.

S'mac is a great option for individual delivery as well as large group events. I'm more of a classic mac and cheese consumer, so I like the all-American or four-cheese flavor. My friends love the buffalo chicken, and my vegan friends are always excited that there is a vegan option. However, they recently got knocked on their last health inspection, so it makes me a bit wary to continue ordering from them in the future.

The atmosphere of this place was nice and cafeteria styled. Totally clean and the guy behind the counter was as pleasant as they come. Windowed doors opened up wide and provided an extremely needed breeze.

Menu selections were okay.
Wait time for food was about 10-15 minutes.
Food itself was not good. I've had better Mac and cheese dishes at other places...huge bummer.

The wait was a little while but lucikly my date and I were enjoying the time we spent. I ordered the buffalo chicken dish and it was amazing. I would definitely go back soon LOVED IT!!

I m not a Mac and cheese lover but this restaurant was mad good i would recommend the sampler because they have different type of Mac and cheese combinations. Also get a big cookie mad good

It's a great concept but for some reason the execution leaves just a so-so impression. The alpine is a good choice because the bacon cuts the slight monotony of a solid pound of Mac n' Cheese. Don't try and make it "healthier" by choosing the garden lite. It's just not that joyful.

The vegan macaroni and cheese is good but tastes of coconut, which makes it mildly nauseating. They should use soy milk or soy cream.

Authentic comfort food! Very recommended! You can choose any one without fear or leave the option to taste a little of each! Yes, there is that option.

Found a metal piece inside my Mac and cheese. So furious and could ve caused a fatal injury. Tried calling the restaurant & they hung up on me.

In reply to owner. I ordered today a Major Munch Buffalo Chicken and baked inside the center as i was moving my meal around to eat i doing something shiny that appears to be a nutlike screw. I took a photo of it. I called the restaurant & the apologized & what sounded like to be the manager asked me to text the photo to him.

Service was okay nothing special. My friend had the vegan ones which she liked fine but she wasn't a fan of the coconut toast of it.

Awesome Mac and cheese dishes with a lot variety and sizes. You order from the Pads on the counter and they are served at your table. Casual dining.

Fast service, tablet ordering for now cause of COVID. They make fresh baked Mac or you can order frozen pan to go home with and heat up.

You order from a terminal which is nice if you don't like to interact with staff, usually full of nyu area students. The food is amazing and served in cute cast iron pans of different sizes that keeps the food melty and hot with every bite.

Being able to order a gluten free option as easy as a press of the button, and the option of vegan as well, was fantastic. I had the philly steak gluten free nosh size and my partner had cheeseburger regular nosh size with extra breadcrumbs. The meals came out really quickly and stayed hot throughout thanks to the skillets they serve them in.

I will go back and try other types of their mac n' cheese dishes

My favorite place to get mac and somewhere I always recommend to visitors. I love the food, the atmosphere, and the people. They have vegan and gluten-free options too. Eat here, you won't regret it.

Was in the area for a Play, and afterwards was looking for a quick sit down meal & came upon S'MAC ...They had a loot of variations of Mac n cheese served bubbling hot in a cast iron pan according to the serving size requested...if ever in the area, stop in for a bite, you won't be disappointed

Coming in I knew I was never a fan of premade options, so "I dared to make my own." Starting with cheddar, then being informed I GET 2 CHEESE OPTIONS, I ADDED mozzarella! Mix'ins I went with ground beef and slab bacon AND HOTDOGS! It came out quick and was gone even faster! What a great place with good service!

Yeah, so that happened. Finished my plate before there was time for me to take a picture of my food before my first bite. So cheesy, so yummy. A must try.

Phenomenal Mac and cheese. Served in cast iron skillets. Rich and creamy. Enjoy how there dishes get a toasty cheesy top to them after baking in the oven.

Very filling, GF friendly. The simpler the better. If you like mac, S'Mac is where it's at!

I bought a mac and cheese from this spot! The size of a kids microwave dinner for 10 dollars.. I was excited that i was going to eat from a place that dedicates themselves to mac and cheese forgiving the child portion... I was thinking to my self they must know how to cook it then... So i go to try it... Omg it was soggy and could feel the bread crumbs which made the dish feel grainy like sand -_-.. The texture was disgusting... Any real cuisine critic would agree with what i said... 1/5 ... A sandwich from a local deli will fill you up for much less trust me...

I found this food spot on a Tuesday and figured I'd try what they're serving for lunch. For the rest of the week I ate at this place! I've been served the Philly cheese steak, buffalo chicken, cheeseburger and one that I can't seem to remember. Philly cheese steak was my favorite. Swing by this food spot and give em a try.

I ordered the wrong thing. And they fixed my order to what I wanted even though that was the more expensive option. Plus it is just delicious.

Always fantastic! My husband and I make sure to stop here at least once when we're in NYC, if not more. Huge fan of the build your own, but their premade skillets are also great. A single person can do with a nosh, and we usually share a major munch between the two of us.

Food is great, large variety of serving sizes. Love the option to take home and make. Staff was very helpful and friendly and food was served hot and not a long wait.

Who doesn't love a good cheesy Mac and cheese? Ordered the garden lite which featured portebello mushrooms, roasted cauliflower and ofc cheese. The other is the buffalo, with boneless chicken, cheddar and blue cheese and buffalo sauce!

We actually finished it, got the major munch size for both.

They also had a taster skillet which you can try a set menu of 6 different Mac and cheese.

My son and his girlfriend were eating at this restaurant in November and they have a little problem with the computers and as a result of that they did have a duplicated charge in their credit card. They claimed the amount trough their bank company but didn't received the correct and quick response from them. We contacted directly the restaurant and the were very kind and professional in helping us solving the problem as it was resolved by Sarita very efficiently. so many thanks to Sarita for that. She took the responsibility of checking and refunded the duplicated charge. BTW My son told me that the food was excelent as well.

A friend of mine suggested me this place and I m so thankful to her rn! I visited New York for a week in December and my friend and I decided to try them. We ended up having their Mac n cheese a second time because they were amazing!!
The price is good and the quality is awesome.

Came in at 10pm on Friday and said they are closed. They had no signs stating such and when asked they said it usually closes at 12, but today closing early, again no reason provided. We took a $33 Uber to come eat here and were hugely disappointed. The website wasn't updated either with the early closing time.

They have no more delivery service. Period. Sign of a dying restaurant. Given the reviews, I'm not surprised.

This has always been a solid spot to go to for a meal that fills you up and doesn't cost too much. The space isn't very big, but people move in and out quickly so you won't be stuck eating out of your skillet while standing up. They do offer to-go options where you can order and take home to warm up and eat on your couch which in my opinion is the best way to eat mac and cheese.

I always enjoy the mac n cheese from this spot. Always a treat when I come here.

You guys are crazy to be chargin $12 for macaroni and cheese, even if it is flavored with weird stuff like buffalo sauce and chicken.
I wouldnt be back.
