Mac & Nadas NYC

I think this place is over-hyped. It was good, but not to the level I heard about it. I tried the masala mac & cheese, and being an Indian myself, I felt the spices were too much. I also tried the cajun mac & cheese, that was very ok too. Pretty crowded place, and chaotic. Hard to find a place to sit. There is no one to take your order, you go and place your own order and then expected to pay a tip. There is also no one to explain how to place your order. Really didn't enjoy the experience. Would not recommend.

Their customisable, vegan and gluten-free mac 'n' cheese was absolutely delicious, reasonable prices, Fast service. Oh I bought one of their cookies for dessert but before I even get to taste it I accidentally dropped it. But the serving staff replaced it for free! Top Service, Strongly recommended.

My favorite mac and cheese place in the world. I tried all the flavors, but the Alpine mac and cheese is the one I always get now. Just perfect!

Probably the worst Mac n Cheese I had. I ordered the buffalo chicken. The cheese tasted burn and the chicken had no flavor. Everything was bland. I was excited to try this because of their rating but I think boxed Mac n cheese is so much better than this.

Overrated. We ordered the sample plate to try various types of mac and cheese and the portions were very small and many of the samples were nothing special. I wouldn't go back and I'm a huge fan of mac and cheese. That's saying a lot.

Ordered home, buffalo chicken Mac and cheese was very good. Would recommend for unique cooking

Was there tonight. Decent price for the size, but aside from the top layer and around the sides of the pan, the Mac and cheese was cold... the add-ons are likely cold when they go in and were not heated enough. That was a bit disappointing.

Really customizable, decent prices, and they even had a vegan option that had cheese that actually was melty, which I loved!!

If you are a mac-n-chees lover, then this is the place for you. This as the name suggests, is their specialty!!!! They have quite a wide variety of choices and none disappoint. If you're in the East Village check it out.

The eating area looked kool went there with alot of friends an traveled far to see a A on the door when I get it an see the kitchen an the people working in it in pajamas and food on the floor and the people working there with hair over the food, an shirts with holes in it, kind of made me want to leave

Every option in the menu looks delicious, and if you think you can do a better combo, there's the do it yourself option. Right to your table or to go, it's a great place to get full of Mac and cheese goodness. If you're super hungry and think you can eat a bigger size than usual.... You're mistaken.

S'mac has the best macaroni and cheese! The added breadcrumbs on top give a little crunch to the soft and gooey texture of the cheese. I am getting hungry just writing this review. My two favorites are the Napoletana (has a light pasta taste), and the Mediterranean (hearty feel with veggies that have a meat tasting quality).

Very simple, easygoing and relax lunch/dinner place. perfect to grab a quick bite, although the Nosh portion is quite big. All the options are amazing, specially the Parisian, the mix of cheeses and the Mediterranean option (which is the less heavy and healthier)

this place is never good, i tried it a few times and its just way too expensive and the servers are always very despondent, and the music always terrible. just another overpriced gimmicky restaurant in the new east village : /

Limited seating. Very good food! Middle size is ideal for a meal. Smaller size if you're not hungry, larger one if you're sharing or starving. This is the Napoletana in the middle size.

Great options, there's something here for everybody! My favorite is buffalo

Probably the best mac & cheese I've ever had. However, it's a tiny awkward space and not good for groups, so if you plan on dining in, then go at an off-peak time. Or plan to get takeout next door! I've tried many flavors at this point, but to be honest I have to go with the cheeseburger as my absolute favorite.

If you are a mac n'cheese lover, you will love this spot. Great options and so filling

Great portion sizes, friendly staff, hardly any wait.

One of those quirky NYC joints offering only Mac and Cheese in variety of flavours. Reasonably priced and good for a quick meal. Masala Mac&Cheese is my favourite. Didn t like the fact that the garbage bins were placed in the middle of the restaurant and they were completely full but the staff wasn t clearing them out.

I have to say I ordered once and the order was correct and my wife who eats only Gluten free loved it. But the next time we ordered which my wife was looking forward to and my daughter and I we all got sick. I told the girl that I wanted a Gluten free and all seem well till after we ate. I went to the bathroom right away and then my daughter also got sick. But what made it really bad was that my wife got sick and had to go to the ER. cause her dish was cross contaminated . Shame on you S MAC your staff should pay attention to what people order instead of joking around .People Beware of this place when making a order. Never Again !!!

Best Mac and cheese, staff is great and you can donate a meal as well. Fill you belly and pay it forward.

Not sure why but often times my stomach disagrees with mac n' cheese but these guys are on to something with the their vegan alternative! I've never eaten a vegan MnC that made me vomit THANK YOU! <3

The Mac and cheese was great but they serve salad in plastic containers that get thrown out later. They should either serve salad on a plate or use cardboard boxes. Too much plastic is being wasted in this world!

Delicious Mac and cheese that comes with a variety options and custom toppings. Even the personal sized ones are quite heavy and the prices are great. Perfect place if you're craving some Mac and cheese.

I went here once to try it. I'm not the biggest Mac and Cheese person, so I just ordered one of their already made creations. The Buffalo Chicken was very good. A lot of chicken pieces and the spiciness was there but it wasn't too spicy that I needed blue cheese with it. The nosh is good enough for me lunch and its as far as I am willing to go as far as price point.

First time in NYC and this is already one of my favorite spots! I ve been back twice and still want more.

The food is good if you like really cheesy mac n cheese. The table areas are really crowded together though so its hard to even pull out your seat without hitting the person behind you

We tried the Four Cheese and Cheeseburger macs and were not disappointed! The staff could have been more helpful with the ordering process since it was our first time, but other than that I wish I had a S'mac near me.

So im a Mac n cheese fanatic. And this place did not disappoint. I had the vegan Mac with mushrooms n breaded topping. Soo good! I can't wait to go back and try the regular Mac. They are offering stock in their company! I may just buy some.

So delicious! Have been on each and every visit to NYC with different friends and family members - everyone has loved it! No frills setting - just great food. Nice menu allows you to change it up and try different combinations - service is always friendly! Highly recommend!

So good! The recipe they have for the cheese sauce is so good! Super creamy. The prices are great and there are tons of options. I recommend even sharing the second size to save money rather than two small

The Mac&Cheese here was excellent! The service was really fast, they have a kiosk to take the orders. I was just walking by and decided to stop in for lunch and had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese, it was really good.

mac and cheese is my favorite comfort food, and the best way to enjoy s'mac is to get it take-and-bake and to enjoy it in the comfort of your home. the bright yellow seating area isn't my favorite spot, but i'm more than happy to make the trip there to pick up their creations! the parisian is my favorite, but my boyfriend likes the marsala.

I love it here! Mac and cheese is amazing and comes out hot. Takes about 15 mins but its worth the wait. My only complaint is the flies. It makes eating here a bit annoying (swatting every few mins).

Food was delicious. I wish they included the gratuity since it's a little confusing as you pay before you eat.

Interesting mac and cheese combinations. Unfortunately they were all super greasy and they didn t fill the pan up very much. Was pretty fast service and inside wasn t that busy so there was lots of seating.

We went to @raclettenyc for lunch. Horrible smell, terrible service, prices and menu didn't match website. So we left and found S'MAC 2 blocks away. Food is SO GOOD. go there instead!

Cheap, customizable mac and cheese with a gluten free pasta and dairy free cheese option! Everything I have had here has always tasted great. I used to eat here all the time when I lived in east village and come back every time I am in the area.

I just had the sampler, it is to die for,when you need good mac and cheese this is the place to go.the atmosphere is kid and family friendly, I will definitely be back.

I would go to this place once but probably not again. The place is too cramped to really enjoy the atmosphere. My favorites were the Cheeseburger and the Napoletana! The Cheeseburger was extra cheesy and tasted just like what it was called! ...how would i describe this? burger pasta?! The Napoletana was very interesting, the basil really overwhelmed the cheese and I never had tomato with my mac and cheese. That was quite a delight! My least favorite was All American, probably because I don't really like American cheese. For the Perisienne, the rosemary flavor was a bit too strong for me so it wasn't one of my favorites either. I had a lot of trouble using the plastic forks for these mini pasta dishes. If they're baked in, they should at least offer us metal spoons to scrape off the cheesy goodness. The sampler is like a special off to the side above the menu. Keep a look out! I'm glad we didn't order just one flavor dish. I would have wanted to try more flavors and probably would have bought more than one dish LOL. that would have been horrible because these are really really really filling.

Love the food but kinda rude staff, open air, and crowded. Would not recommend for summertime meals.

Didn't quite love up to the hype. Some of their more unusual flavors, like the Parisienne and la Mancha, stood out as very good while the others didn't leave much of an impression. Definitely try a S'mac Sampler if it's your first time!
