Used to be called S'mac, I think, and used to be in a much smaller venue next door. Also upgraded the ordering to electronic screens instead of a cashier, but it's the same super cheesy, obviously bad for you if you eat the whole thing in one sitting (which you will do) food.
Great food but do NOT Postmate from here, it will take forever to arrive.

I've been going to S'Mac for years, and I still can't get enough! The cajun mac & cheese is simply to die for, and the buffalo chicken is just delicious. It can get pretty crowded in here on Friday & Saturday nights, so get your order to go or call for delivery.

The best Mac and cheese I have honestly ever had and I recommend it to anyone who tells me they a re coming here. I came here on a trip to New York after being recommended the place by friends and walked down most of broadway in the pouring rain and freezing winds just to eat here and it was completely and utterly worth every second.

So im a Mac n cheese fanatic. And this place did not disappoint. I had the vegan Mac with mushrooms n breaded topping. Soo good! I can't wait to go back and try the regular Mac. They are offering stock in their company! I may just buy some.
Simply the best. The food is just delicious. Every single time. So many different choices. Service is always excellent. Delivery is super fast as well. I have never once been disappointed by this place. It s also requested in my house at least twice a week. The kids just love it.
If you love mac & cheese then this is the spot! Prices are fair, service is good and after all it's all about the mac & cheese delicious, so many to choose. Today I had the Napoletana (think Margherita pizza but mac & cheese)! I also love the 4 cheese can't go wrong...
We got the masala, La Mancha, and nepolitana. They were alright. Need to be baked more. Macbar tastes better.
A pretty small place that's hidden away among apartment buildings, but nonetheless awesome Mac and Cheese. Keep in mind the food is very filling, I barely got through the 'Major Munch' size, so I'd most likely suggest the 'Nosh' size instead if you don't have a big appetite. If you're looking for a place where the atmosphere matches the food though, this is not the place for you.

The mac n cheese was delicious. I thought the mac n cheese burger was very good. You get plenty of food for a good price. Seating inside was very limited and lucky for us there were a few tables still open but it filled up quickly. Definitely want to go back and try out a different flavor next time.

The service here is horrendous every time I go and their phone is disconnected half the time but the actual food is to die for so I still here here fairly often. If they had trained staff who knows how much better this business would be doing

DELICIOUS Masala mac & cheese. (Curry, and a little spicy.) My husband liked his Buffalo chicken style. A medium is enough for 2 meals. Next time I might try the vegan version. Hint: if you want carryout, order ahead. It takes a while.

We came from MD to NYC just to go to S'mac because we saw it on Facebook. It was worth it, let me tell you. I ordered 2 kinds (you can get a flight but there were some I didn't want to try so I just stuck with these 2). I got the 4 cheese and Alpine. They were killer!!!! I was starving and got through maybe just over 1/2 of each. A friend is going soon and is bringing a rubbermaid container so she can bring them home too lol I highly recommend, especially if you're a mac and cheese fanatic like myself. Prices are awesome btw. 2 macs and a soda was less than $20 and I also tipped. They could easily charge more for the quality. I am coming back for sure

this place done smac'd me in the mouth with all its flavor. so delicious. i always get the cheeseburger. perfect balance between cheese and beef. i would imagine that everything else is just as good. i only ever come here for mac and cheese. ive gone to another place once before, huge mistake on my part.

My family and I went on a Mac n cheese tour of the city and this is the first place we stopped. We got the sampler and everything was delicious. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.
S'MAC is an EV classic. I'm not a huge mac n cheese fan, it feels more like a side dish. But these dishes are not half bad, you can even add a meat to your mac n cheese.

Was there yesterday and shared the 4 cheese with my friend but found myself eating the majority. It was so yummy and the cheese on too was obviously satisfying. Service was great, she told us to wait 10 minutes and it came out at the right time. Open, spacious and good pricing.

Love this Mac n cheese place! They had many delicious options and several vegetarian options. I also saw they had a vegan option which is nice when you have friends that eat all types of foods. I enjoyed a Mediterranean one that was interesting but different than the classic Mac n cheese taste. Definitely enjoyed it but if your looking for classic go classic! Excited to try this place again!
The place was very dirty and it did not look sanitary. I didn't even order food because nothing on the menu looked good enough to risk getting sick over.
I'm going to assume you're not looking for a sumptuous dine-in experience if you decide to go out for macaroni and cheese. Certainly their takes on mac and cheese dishes can be delectable, but the tables and chairs are more pragmatic than anything else, as is the summertime open-air-onto-the-loud-NYC-streets seating arrangement they have going.
Great food, competent service for what it is, but if you want more than just a place to sit while eating, consider just taking your order to go.

I have now been to S Mac a number of times and I rarely leave disappointed (looking at you build your own vegan Mac and cheese).
The new location is now located around the corner from their 12th Street location and is now directly on 1st Avenue, a hop, skip, and jump away from the L train.
I really like the ambiance of the new location and I will definitely keep patronizing this place when I m in the mood for Mac and cheese!

I had been hearing about S'MAC for a very long time and I was very pleased with it when I visited: they do Mac and cheese right.
I ordered the Mediterranean and sampled the cheeseburger as well and both were amazing!
Another great thing? Their prices are extremely affordable. I will definitely be back in the near future!

Cajun dish was great, first trip to New York City was told that we just had to check out S'macs. We did, placed our order 26 in our group. But the restroom stench and general uncleanliness along with graffiti filth was enough knowing employees also use that restroom to never want to eat there again. If I had seen the restroom prior to ordering and paying I would have left.
S'macs, get it together. Should I return I will definitely check the cleanliness out of the bathroom before I sit down and eat and hope that the employees hands are is clean. Word of mouth is everything!

My boy friend bought me here for the very first time today. It was us and my twin daughters. It is by far the best Mac and cheese I've eaten. My kids loved it as much as I did.
I will definitely visit again when I'm in NY! The Buffalo Chicken w/Blue Cheese crumbles was AWESOME!!!

Red wheelbarrow BBQ has great ribs and amazing fries. I'd also like to try their new burger. Buying items with ecoin works the best but bit coins are worth more.
Love the concept - but it's very crowded and the experience can be a bit of a letdown.
