Mac & Nadas NYC Review

This is probably every LES resident/mac and cheese lovers favorite spot lol they never disappoint. Ive been a customer for about 4 years and can say that their flavor/quality has never been under par. I always get All-American mac and cheese with the bread crumbs on top. A classic, but so satisfying. You can mix is up with mets or vegetables. The smallest size is a Nosh and its usually filling enough (I d say I have a big appetite) I am so happy that they moved to this bigger location because I loveeee the operable windows.

Very tasty and good prices. You order over an ipad. The macs were very good. We loved it.

The food was good here, but customer service is terrible. They recently got new annoying kiosks encouraging people to order that way and pay by credit card. However, they dont seem to realize that not everyone likes to pay using credit card and rather pay cash. Getting an employee's attention to place an order when paying with cash was hard. The workers here were not friendly and seemed annoyed we chose to pay with cash. It was much better here before the stupid kiosks were installed. To answer the question from the owner, we were there yesterday (Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm)

Love the buffalo mac the blue cheese awesome yum my husband gets it for me when he's in the city love love love yum=)

Had the Parisienne, I liked the mix-ins but the Mac itself wasn t special.

You order from a kiosk instead of a person which felt somewhat impersonal.

Everyone has their own little booth space. Food time isn t long and still tastes just as great. Just wouldn t recommend if it s too cold or very windy. Other than that, enjoy the experience!

What is better than Mac 'n Cheese after a few drinks. The simple ones are the best and the medium size easily feeds 2.

How many ways can you make a Mac N' Cheese? Many, according to S'mac. This is indeed the place for good mac n' cheese, and according to a magazine I read, is the most frequently taken-out restaurant in all of New York, which is believable. Every time I've come with friends we've gotten to taste each other's orders. I personally think the best one is just the classic All-American. Almost everyone agrees and regrets ordering their custom everything-inside mac n' cheese.

Small but great Mac'n cheese place. Absolutely to try. Low prices.

I ordered the Philly cheese steak Mac n cheese it s was OMG AMAZING.... delicious,the only problem was when I order off of seamless my food was toss up side but it was still good I would recommend S'MAC to a friend we'll just go to the restaurant instead..lol

Tasty food probably popular with the hangover crowd. No frills, small, very run down looking interior. A little polish and better presentation could give this business a huge boost. Wouldn't cost much to give a better atmosphere than an automotive service stations waiting area. The staff not rude and get the job done but seemingly no experience or interest in hospitality.

This place has been on my to do list for quite some time and I finally got a chance to go. They have a few different size options which is awesome, I appreciate that they understand different size appetites. I ordered the smallest size cheeseburger Mac and cheese. It was really good, in an what you expect type of way. It s cheeseburger Mac and cheese so I didn t expect something I had never experienced before, but it was definitely really good and filling and tasted better then if I would have made it myself. On the other hand, my partner got the La Macha Mac and cheese which was amazinggggggg. It was different, creamy and the the ingredients were well balanced. This location had multiple condiments available at the table (ketchup, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, Salt and pepper) which was awesome to just be able to decide at your table what you want to add. Additionally they had a water cooler where you could refill your own water, along with to-go boxes available for you to fix yourself. I did enjoy the do it yourself approach they have going on here, especially since it s a pretty small place. I really only had 2 issues with the place and it has absolutely nothing to do with the food. There is NO AC. It s summertime, sizzling hot Mac and cheese and no ac. That was really disappointing for me. The second thing was that at some point the water cooler has run out and took a patron to bring it to the attention of the workers. Also, no AC, sizzling hot Mac and cheese, people are in and out, in my time there I feel this should have been checked on but it wasn t. But other then that, I would totally go back again!

Delicious! Good price for Ny, we ate very well for 23 dollars 2 people. The place is very nice and cozy.

Excellent Mac n cheese we go every chance we get!!!!......the pics are from their take out due to covid...easy ordering,pick up it tasted just as good as in the restaurant. Directions were easy and my family and I loved it...

Make your on combination or choose from some of the favorites. The mac and cheese is always on point and prepared with fresh ingredients. Place is usually busy when we go there but turn over is good so if you are a small party you can get a table.

Nice food but dissapointed..I ordered this evening to dine in some cheeseburger Mac and cheese at 20box and I found a piece of sausage in my plate.... I don't eat pork I'm Muslim.... . I have to throw all of it.... Anyway. A commercial gesture would have been appreciated. Not coming back anymore

Came here on a Monday evening for dinner - absolutely worth it. Mac and Cheese was served hot in a bubbling cast iron pan with breadcrumbs and crispy cheese. Sizes were huge (second smallest couldn't be finished comfortably by one person) and extremely tasty. Going for the 'All American' was good, but I'd recommend one that had more ingredients in in! Price was decent, but $10 (plus tax) is still on the more expensive end for just a mac and cheese. Still was one of my favourite meals so far in NYC, worth visiting!

Came here on Christmas eve and the food was amazing ! The vegan option was truly creamy and tasted just like 'regular' macaroni. Service was quick! We got our food in less than 15 minutes! The price point isn't too bad considering the serving sizes (pictured is their medium size). No bathrooms in this place. They have free water available and really nice old school music. I would 100% visit again!

So delicious! My no. 1 New York destination for affordable eats.

Love this places if you have the chance try it you won't regret it
