Absolute rubbish - had I don t know how many claims handlers - never did what they were supposed to (gathering CCTV/other evidence) ended up in exactly the same position after they took the case on after 6 months!! Insurance company wasted their money on this incompetent firm!
Genevieve Cunningham has been extremely helpful and very professional. Always kept me up to date with whats going on and has given great advice.

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with - incredibly unorganised with a total lack of empathy for situations.
Not sure who I dealt with - it was several different people over 18 months...
I had to tell the story countless times, which was never correctly written down their end which led to lies being taken to court which they didn t disclose until the day. This ultimately meant I got nothing and had to take a 50/50 in terms of responsibility for the car accident I was in over a year prior. The lawyer Lyons Davidson told me to meet at court had no clue what was happening, was flummoxed by the lies in the statement they had wrote and couldn t believe the shocking admin they had done which meant a fairly easy case turned out to be a nightmare.
Would NEVER use this company again, the fact that someone pays these people for a service is absolutely beyond me.
FYI this isn t a message out of anger, they ve just emailed me asking for feedback although I went to court almost a year ago for this. But the shocking service from the first minute in has always stuck in my memory.
Our car was reversed into immediately after pulling into a supermarket parking space.At first we felt sorry for the lady involved.Our opinion changed a few months later when we found out that liability was not being admitted despite profuse apologies at the time.
Our insurance company put it in the hands of Lyons Davidson who thankfully sorted it out [14 months later]
MORAL. If somebody admits to causing an accident and there are no witnesses, make sure you record it on your mobile!!
Lyons Davidson were appointed by my insurance company to recover costs from the other party after they denied owning the vehicle that collided with mine. I was kept informed of the process regularly and had a positive outcome.
They took forever to resolve my small claim and although the accident was not my fault, I only got my excess back. How do these claims take so long? Also LD kept sending me letters asking for information I had already given. I guess they charge my insurance company for all their time and letters, hence no incentive to just get things settled. Avoid LD if you can

Provided all the information requested but didn't receive an acknowledgement to confirm it was satisfactory & very little communication in general until eventually receiving a settlement cheque.
My contact with Lyons Davidson was Tinotenda Chiguma. She kept me informed throughout the claims procedure, needed as the other party would not respond. It did help that I had dash cam footage of the accident.
Had a non fault accident 7 months ago, fault was admitted by the other side within a week. Still don't really have a clue what's going on with my claim. Have to chase them regularly for any sort of update. Struggle to get through to anyone when you call as I'm always in a queue that seems to last forever. Customer service is shocking. Was in a similar situation 5 years ago and the company i went with were amazing! Had everything resolved within 6 months. Would not recommend going with Lyons Davidsons
I had an accident on 10th September 2018 and my insurance company engaged Lyons Davidson Solicitors .They were absolutely fantastic and outstanding .They communicated to me through their Leeds offices .For me they deserve full marks
My sole contact was through telephone conversations and written documents instigated via an insurance claim. Mr Din was most professional in his manner and his explanation of procedures and terminology. Although I found the whole event daunting, I was re-assured at every step

Lyons Davidson contacted me at LV's request as the other party was refusing to accept full responsibility despite the proof of blame on film and photos. When I received the form to claim through small claims court it was a shock but Lyons Davidson explained that it needed to be sent my me but all costs would be covered. Within two weeks the full amount had been recovered without need to go to court. I am very grateful to Lyons Davidson for their professionalism and friendly and courteous service.
Succeeded in winning a claim. For most of the time they kept me informed of progress. Notified me of the court result within days of the case.
My file handler was great, always went above and beyond to make life easier for me. Staff in general were always available to talk, no complaints at all. Thank you!

My Car Insurance company COOP- eco used Lyons Davidson as its loss recovering solicitor (GOD knows why it doesn't have its own)
Even though the service was VERY good and after filing and posting a paper report. and making a few phones calls to check progress. Lyons Davidson eventually recovered all my money (thank you greatly) should be 5 * * * * * feedback then?
Not the worst out there, but many areas of improvement needed.
I have received sub-standard customer service. Letters never acknowledged and queries/problems never brought to you promptly. Completely fed up of ringing to get updates. 7 months on from a no fault claim I'm still waiting to get reimbursement for costs paid. I can only think that they do so many claims they don't have adequate time to deal properly with the cases. I would change insurers next time so that they are not the solicitors appointed through legal expenses cover.
Injury Fail to Stop Car Crash Compensation.
My wife and I were involved in a head on crash whilst stationary with a car driven on the wrong side of the road, the driver of which immediately reversed and drove off leaving us injured.
Our insurers LV passed our claim to Lyons Davidson, Mandy Hayar dealt with our claim efficiently and promptly in the circumstance and obtained an appropriate financial outcome for us both. I would not hesitate to recommend Mandy and Lyons Davidson to anyone who should find them selves in similar circumstances.
Did a good job recovering losses from third party but I dropped one star because communication was poor during claim with long periods of silence.

Absolutely terrible. They don't answer your phone calls . No updates on what is going on. You have to do all the legwork yourself and once you send papers over to them,nobody even bother to acknowledge that they revived it .no communication whatsoever. Save yourseld lots of worries and don't bother with them. Terrible service.
