Lynnwood Honda Review

My wife and I are not the kind of people who enjoy negotiating over prices (read: we don t like car dealerships). So we were guarded when we walked into Lynwood Honda. We began working with Troy Malchow. We test drove a car with him and enjoyed our conversation with him. We appreciated his genuine engagement with us. We immediately sensed that he wasn t going to try to pressure us. He answered all our questions and ultimately helped us find a car we love, for a great price, relative to everything else we'd seen out there. I ve never met a salesman as genuine and kind as Troy. He was a breath of fresh air. His manager Gabe was also genuine and helpful in our brief exchange with him. I would highly recommend lynnwood Honda for their helpful sales team, not to mention that Hondas are among the most reliable cars on the road (which is why we bought a Honda!).

The pre-sale customer service, as expected, is fine. They're trying to grab a sale so they're naturally accommodating. As far as the service department goes, the "Service Advisors" need to set better expectations.

This is not my first visit to the service department here.

I had an appointment scheduled for a normal oil change service, and called in the day before to inquire about loaner vehicle availability. They said they don't do loaners, but do "rentals".I then asked if one would be available at the time of my appointment, and was assured they would have one available.

When I arrived, I was told I actually needed a " Minder-B" service, which included a few additional services. I said fine, since the Service "Advisor" said it was recommended at the current mileage. I would have liked to know this at the time I scheduled my appointment, since they looked up my vehicle at that time. This led to me having a $105.00 service vs a $0 service. It wouldn't have been any kind of issue had I know at the time of scheduling.

When I asked about a vehicle, none were available. Of course. There was nothing I could do about that, except use their complimentary shuttle service. Great!

... I initially thought. After 5 minutes a driver comes up, asks us where we're all going, and we give him destinations. When I state my destination, he gives me a kind of blank look. I start to explain where it is, and he cuts me off saying "I know where it is." Well, some confirmation that you understood and heard what I said would have been part of normal customer service, let alone human communication.

Anyway, he says he'll take the other two, and says another driver will be right in. 30 minutes later, I was still sitting in their Shuttle waiting area. Nobody else came to even check the area to see how many people were waiting.

Literally, the only positive about this whole experience was the guy that moves the vehicles in queue to be serviced. He got the key from me, and let me know someone would be able to help me as I stepped inside.

Mark was great and made my new car buying experience stress free! I have purchased vehicles at other Honda dealerships in town but Lynnwood Honda is by far the best. I would recommend Lynnwood Honda to anyone looking to buy a new vehicle. Ask for Mark Baker!

Although I did not purchase a new Honda from Lynnwood Honda, I did have a very good experience with the sales person--Kris--we met with. Both my wife and I appreciated the time he took showing us--and letting us test drive--a Honda CRV. Kris was patient, very good at pointing out all the features of the CRV, all without being condescending or using high pressure tactics. His follow through was excellent. All in all, we had a very positive experience working with Kris at Lynnwood Honda.

I'm gonna be real honest here, if you need a new or used car, go in and ask for Jason John! Hes the man, kind and kind hearted. I wont buy a car from anyone else ever again!

I experienced 5 star customer service at Lynnwood Honda service department. Eventhough I live closer from Kirkland honda I'm willing to drive little further to Lynnwood Honda for maintenance/service because they are more professional and courteous compare to Kirkland Honda. They even take their time to wash my car after every service. I'm a happy customer at Lynnwood Honda.

As a genuine "car guy" I've done many car deals over the course of the last 50+ years. Last week I was able to complete a somewhat unusual trade with the help of Troy Malchow and the rest of the team at Lynnwood Honda. The "deal" actually began over 3 years ago when I was looking to purchase a Honda Civic Type R. Due to the limited availability of this particular car I was unable buy the car from the dealer but Troy worked diligently non the less in an effort to secure a vehicle. Now after three years I returned to the dealership to arrange a trade of my Type R for a new CR-V. Troy picked up right where we had left off 3 years earlier making every effort to arrange a transaction suitable to my need and beneficial all parties. This time all the pieces fit. Quickly and efficiently a deal was arranged. A truly 5 star performance.

Troy Malchow and the rest of the staff were very friendly and patient throughout the whole process of test-driving, explaining features, and financing. I never felt pressured into extra costs, Troy laid out all the options and what he recommended and respected my decisions. Their financing even beat out the competition and got me a better APR. They got me driving away with my new CR-V the same day.

This is a review of the service department. They are absolutely fantastic. I took my 2017 Civic here because I had trouble with it starting. They did a great job looking for the cause. Pricing was fair and there was no hard sell to do a bunch of other stuff. My service advisor, Ashley, was so helpful and kind. I will continue taking my Civic here!

Went in last weekend with my daughter, hoping to find a car. Working with Troy Malchow was a smooth and easy experience! There was zero pressure but he made sure the process was swift and comfortable. I was able to come home the same day with a car! I am very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family :)

I love the exceptional customer service. I was afraid my car was low on oil. They checked it for me and even topped it off. They also recommended a less expensive oil than I had been using based on the age and mileage of my car. I will have them use that oil when my oil is changed at my upcoming appointment. I wouldn't take my car anyplace else for service.

After losing my time in 2 other places,i was lucky enough to get here were i got the best deal around for the car and finance.
Easy done and most important all the sales people their super nice and respectfull ,i have not felt pushed or manipulated as you do in most dealers.

I had a fabulous experience today purchasing Accord 2014 Hybrid model. The person who sold me the car was called Lawrence. He was very courteous friendly and most of all, gave me a great price on the car. If you have plans to visit this place, Lawrence is your go-to guy.

I recently bought my 3rd vehicle from Mark Baker--a long-time salesman at Lynnwood Honda. First one was WAY back in 2005, then again last year, and then last weekend--and i still have the original Pilot from back in -05! Each time was a very nice, professional, respectful experience that left me feeling good about the purchase. Mark takes pictures with the folks and the car when the deal is done--13 years later and he still had a picture of us with our first car we bought from him! Mark is a great member of a fantastic team at Lynnwood Honda. We will be back!

In May 2014 I leased a new Honda Accord from Lynnwood Honda. I worked with Mark Baker and want to share that working with Mark and his entire team was a fabulous experience. Mark is very knowledgeable about the Honda products. He and his team were very professional, courteous, and easy to deal with in this transaction. Over the past eight months I have had some challenges with the equipment in the car. I simply stop by the dealership and they happily assist me with settings, programming, etc. This is the first Honda I have owned and I can positively say that I am a very satisfied customer. I would highly recommend their team to anyone who is looking for a very nice vehicle to drive.

I had been to another local Honda dealer near me and they were awful and wasted my time.

If you are looking for a new car, I recommend working with Jason John. He is listens to what you're looking for, doesn't push a sale on you, he is easy going and easy to talk to, and makes the process very easy. Even now after we bought the car, he still texts me to say hi and make sure the car is working for me.

I've had very bad experiences with Car Salespeople in general, however Tom Park is very personable which I totally appreciated. He let the car sell itself and kept the transaction very smooth. I'd recommend him.

My very first car was a Honda Civic Coupe, which I drove for 12 years. I knew it was time to get a new car, and I did tons of research in advance of visiting Lynnwood Honda. I had already been to a fair number of dealerships in the area test driving other cars, with varying degrees of positive and negative experiences. When Jordan Barnes approached me in the lot and asked me what I was looking for, he was really respectful of all the research I had already done, and made sure to show me exactly what I was looking for. He sat with me on a test drive and was really friendly, funny, and easygoing, answering all of my remaining questions as we went. He made the process of purchasing the car really simple and easy, and I initially took my car back for all of its service because of how well I was treated by Jordan during that sale. I've recommended Jordan to everyone that's told me they're looking for a new car, and I'll continue to go there for any car purchases myself as long as he's working there.

On the Service side, I've also had truly great experiences with both Ashley Low and David Mendez. Both of them have been very straight-forward, transparent, and friendly, always answering my questions and doing their best to get me in and out of the shop as quickly as possible every time. Truthfully, I moved about 30 miles away shortly after I purchased my car, but I have continued to take it to Lynnwood Honda for all of the service because of Ashley and David.

My uncle bought a Odyssey from Tom Park May 6th and we had amazing experience. My uncle speaks little or no English and we asked for Korean speaking sales associate in advance and when we got there, he was waiting for us!

He put us on a right vehicle and he went through every little details over the car and convinced us how good that Odyssey is and oh yeah it really is.

We appreciate the experience we had and look forward to have more business with him.

My wife and I are car shopping at the moment since our current lease is almost up. We walked in and Jon came over shook my hand, I explained our lease situation and informed him we just want to test drive to feel out our next car. Jon was AWESOME about it! No stress, no hassle, no pressure, no sales pitch. He just smiled said "ok let's go for a test drive". While driving he answered my questions and was knowledgeable about the vehicle. Even joked around a bit which made me feel comfortable haha. After the test drive he didn't push or asked to follow him to an office, just said "let me get you a broucher and I'll give you my info and when your ready hope you consider our dealership ". That was the most relaxing and easy test drive I've experienced and I believe it's really helpful to those looking for their next car. Take note Ford. Thanks Jon! After reaching out to several dealerships to buy our 2020 Insight, Lynnwood Honda is the only dealership we were comfortable with. The price was great, and Gabe Moreno and Bobby Labor were both very helpful. Initially, Gabe didn't have a white EX in stock, but he found one and had it waiting for us within 24 hours. The entire car buying process took less than 90 minutes, but we stayed another 15, just to chat.

We bought a new Honda Fit. Our salesman, Demereay or "D", really went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied. I'd highly recommend buying a car from D!

I had a 1 pm appointment for a synethic oil change and I was waiting at the dealership for two hours... although the person helping me was very kind and kept apologizing that it shouldn't have taken this long, I was not happy. I'm a really patient person but the wait was unacceptable. On top of that, the next morning I got an alert on my car that my tire pressure was low even though they said they pumped all my tires for me. Not worth going to this Honda location.

Francisco was a pleasure to work with and made the car buying process easy and quick. I would recommend contacting him at Lynnwood Honda next time you re looking for car.

Called for a part is told they had it drove over 30 minutes in traffic to get and they did not have it now going back over an hour to where I live to get it horrible inventory

Working with Troy Malchow at Lynnwood Honda was a delightful, yes delightful experience. He offered a fair deal on our trade-in for a new CR-V. Everything was done via email and phone. We scheduled an appointment to pick up our new vehicle and were in-out quickly. Troy conducted himself in good faith at every step. Our next Honda will also be purchased at Lynnwood Honda with Troy!

Excellent experience.

I have 4 kids so my wife and I decided it was time to by a mini van. We heard that the Honda Odyssey was the best mini van out there, so we drove to Lynnwood Honda on Hwy 99 to check them out. My family and I check out both new and used. The salesman was super helpful in showing us all the features and he was very patient with my kids getting in and out of all the vans we looked at. We decided on a certified pre-owned because it was almost as good as new yet was much less expensive. They also have a large waiting area so the kids had room to play while we filled out the paperwork. The car has been excellent to us and I really appreciate how easy it was to work with the sales team at Lynnwood Honda.
