Lynnwood Honda Review

Lynwood Honda gave me one of the best car buying experiences ever. I was specifically looking for a Civic Type R and these guys had the best price by a long shot verses any nearby Honda dealers. Sadly with everything going on the car went on back order but my sales person Troy was there to make sure I was taken care of every step of the way. It took a few months but he was very clear on timelines and making sure I got anything I needed. They didn't try to haggle and even for the warranties they did offer they were at amazing prices with great value. Would defiantly recommend Lynwood Honda %100.

I never do this but a quick follow up 2 months later: I was having some confusion with my power port charging my phone slowly in my purchased car and made an appointment at the service center. My tech David was super helpful and went the extra mile to test things out and reassure me and saved me from having to pay my warranty deductible for an unnecessary diagnostic.

I researched reviews of various Honda dealers, thinking I might buy a new car and decided on Lynnwood Honda. Fortunately, Mark Baker was my sales person. Excellent service, no pressure. I was so impressed that I returned, traded my 2013 CRV for a 2016 model. When I arrived Mark had uploaded my info, and I was out the door in no time. Would highly recommend Mark for his professionalism.

Haas was so personable, kind & understanding throughout my first major car purchase. He showed me all my options so that I could make the best decision for myself. I've been taking my used Honda in for service at Lynnwood for years, and now after my car buying experience I will never go anywhere else for any of my car needs.

My wife and I Were in the market for a used civic and thought we should go to our local Honda dealer. BIG WASTE OF TIME! We were passed off from one sales guy to another. We test drove 3 Honda certified cars ( What ever that means). All of the cars were dirty and had not been cleaned. Pet hair, dirt and coffee stains. I'm not impressed with this dealership and the Honda certified stamp of approval. In our search for a new car we have visited many dealers and this by far the worst dealership we visited, Now focusing our search on a Toyota.

I am very impressed with my experience at Lynnwood Honda. After some bad experiences with Klein Honda's service department, I took my car to Lynnwood Honda for service. They were honest and made sure my '98 Accord was ready for my commute. When I decided I was ready to start looking for a quality 2013 Civic, I decided to give Klein Honda the benefit of the doubt and checked it out to compare to Lynnwood. The salesperson at Klein was completely unwilling to negotiate with me. Lynnwood recommended that I contact Bobby Labor. I came in to Lynnwood Honda two days ago and discussed options that worked with my budget and yesterday I left with a new 2015 4-door Civic in the beautiful blue I wanted. Bobby asked if I was a recent college grad and got me a $500 credit. I told Bobby I needed the floor mats and he didn't hesitate to throw those in for no extra charge. He is very knowledgeable about all the features and walked me through everything. He even set up my phone with the Bluetooth and programmed my favorite radio stations. I highly recommend Bobby. I was stressed out about my first car-buying experience, but I never felt pressured or rushed and I left in the exact car I wanted for a deal better than I expected. I was very much amazed at the way Lynnwood Honda treated my wife and I. Both Jason and manager Gabriel were a great help in selling us what we wanted. They were willing to work with us on the price, and we left their happy with what we got. Jason was not only great with his sale, but also with his hospitality, offering us water, coffee and even buying us lunch while we waited for our car. I also appreciated that we did not feel pressured in ANYWAY by the service we received, which I feel is sometimes a stereotype for dealership. I can not say enough of how thankful we were and are to have been able to work with Jason and Gabriel, and buying a car from Lynnwood Honda.

Good customer service, knowledgeable. I have taken my car in twice. Once for a recall on an air bag and once for fluid service. They were friendly and offered recommendations on other service that was need and provided an verbal estimate without pressure. Complementary wash and vac also. They were very timely as well.

Even though the dealer did not have the particular vehicle I was interested in available, the sales person Tom Park and manager Gabe were very easy to work with in ordering the car. Negotiating the price was the easiest part, as it was very courteous and less than 10 minutes. Tom was excellent in managing details and providing updates as I was waiting for delivery of the car. Overall, extremely satisified with my purchase and the service provided by the staff.

We needed to upgrade to a safer, slightly larger car since our second child was on the way. With the help of Tom Park, we were able to find a beautiful lightly used CR-V that was perfect for our growing family. This was the first time I'd bought a car, so I was expecting the kind of salesman you see in the movies... You know, kinda sleazy, really pushy. But Tom and the finance guy (ugh, I wish I wasn't so bad with names... Sorry finance guy! You really were awesome!) made the entire process quite painless and were not pushy at all. Tom even managed to help us keep our 3 year old toddler entertained the whole time we were there by supplying juice, a coloring book, and these super rad twist-up crayons that I'd never seen before. The price for the car was unbeatable and so was the customer service. Thanks for proving the sleazy car salesman stereotype wrong, Tom!! You're the best (and apologies for how long it took to write a review. We got super busy with the new baby and all)!

Worst communication experience... I have not been at a dealership in over a decade and decided to go to Lynnwood Honda since I bought my first car there when I was 18 years old. I went in last Saturday found the car I absolutely fell in love with and went through the whole shebang... Salesman seemed really nice and helpful. I was told since most banks were closed on Saturday, that I would hear back on Monday. Monday came and I didn't hear anything till I checked in to follow-up. I was told then, the bank wanted to interview me first and I should be getting a call that day or the following day before lunch which would be on Tuesday. It is now Thursday and I still haven't heard from the bank, nor the salesman on the status.

I think communication is key to update customers on this type of transaction, after all they are a business and to provide excellent customer service is an important factor. I am very disappointed with the results I got. I was left hanging not knowing if I should wait or search around again.

Horrible experience!

We came up to Lynnwood Honda from the Portland area and had the best experience. We were lucky enough to be able to work with Marcus and the whole process was stress free and streamlined. He is probably the most knowledgeable sales person we worked with as we researched/shopped for the car we wanted. I would not hesitate to purchase another car from them and am 100% willing to drive the 3+ hours again just to be able to work with Marcus and this dealership. I will absolutely be recommending them to any friends/family that are in the market for a new/used vehicle. If you want a positive, hassle free experience you have found your dealership!!

Went to see an Odyssey and Troy showed me the car. He was courteous and provided useful information for comparison. His follow-up did not leave a pushy feeling. We however purchased a different car that better fits our need.

Juan and everyone else at the Honda dealership were very friendly and talked to me about my options for my very old 2003 Honda Accord. They never once pressured me into anything. I originally went there earlier in the year for moral support as my girlfriend bought a car from them and they gave the same exceptional service. I'm definitely returning to this dealership.

My car was damaged when it was being serviced. When I brought it up to Honda, their answer was essentially "you can't prove it, so we don't have to do anything." I tried to call them several times to follow up, and they would always take a message (sometimes were pretty rude), but no one ever called me back.

When I dropped off my car, the greeter asked me to stand by the service desks, as all the associates were busy and I was "first in line." I watched as 3 other people arrived and were helped before me. Due to this, I was checked in 15 min late for my appointment even though I was 5 minutes early.

He just helped us purchased a 2020 Honda CRV Touring. He was so helpful. He was not pushy at all. Not like a car sales man! When it came to negotiating he was fair and honest. I am also a sales person- so it felt like a meeting of the minds. I highly recommend Tai Junge. I will be seeing him again in two years when I trade my CRV in.

I just recently bought a 2015 Honda Fit from Lynnwood Honda, and I have to say the experience was definitely not what I had expected, but in an absolute great way! I have watched my parents have incredibly difficult experiences working with dealerships, so I anticipated having an exhausting and frustrating time with it all. That was definitely not the case here. I worked with Tom Park, and he was incredibly helpful. He showed my family and me cars that were within my budget and worked really hard to make everything very easy. The fact that he was so willing to get me a great deal and financing for being a brand new college grad was really just thinking outside of the box, and I truly appreciated that. I would recommend Lynnwood Honda, and Tom Park specifically, to anyone looking to buy a new (or used) car!

I went to this dealership under the Costco auto purchase referral program. The sales person I met there was Mark Baker. He is an excellent sales guy. Due to personal issues, some complications arose during negotiations but Mark and his GM were able to resolve them to my absolute satisfaction and they were completely professional throughout. If you ever need a Honda vehicle, this is the place you want to go to get it and Mark's the person you need to reach out to!

I've purchased 3 vehicles here in the past 3 years and have generally had a good experience with sales staff. I went back for the third, given my good experience previously but was a bit let down by the back and forth about price. I don't think it's too much to expect more customer advocacy and their cutting out the BS haggle for repeat customers.

Careful with these guys. They started out solid but after buying an almost new VW from them, I found out that the mechanics from their shop used a cheaper grade of oil than required, making the car run just well enough for 3 months and then already gave me trouble. (Any car w/13K miles on it is too young to have any serious issues unless someone screws up like this and doesn't admit it)

When I went back to them they gave me records saying "they changed the oil right" but if that were the case it wouldn't have cost me $450 to have their mistake fixed within 90 days of buying the car. And they refused to lend me a loaner until the car was fixed.

Again careful with these guys.

On 4/9 I traded in my Toyota Tundra for a used vehicle at Lynnwood Honda. I had the pleasure of working with a fellow by the name of Tom Park. By far the most pleasant vehicle purchase transaction I have ever experienced. The negotiations where polite, NOT aggressive, and the facilities comfortable. I left in my new vehicle with a full tank of gas and a smile on my face!

This year my family has been buying and selling a lot of cars. We are calling it The Great Car Shuffle of 2018.
I was the last to buy my new car and by the time we got to Lynnwood Honda we had A LOT of dealerships PTST. We walked in callous and ready for a fight (that never happened).
The people at Lynwood Honda were kind and patient with us as we worked out a deal. Although I didn t get it for the price I wanted, I still felt comfortable with how much I paid in the end.
Only cons:
There was no second key to the car - Which I think is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous as they cost up to $300 to buy privately. But it was 10pm when the deal closed and I found out, so I was not about to stay awake for another hour over a fab.
The pictures online make the interior look grey when it was really black. - Not too big of a deal, but I m not a fan of black interior so it was a little disappointing.

UPDATE
- You don t get what you don t ask for. I finally called Lynwood Honda a few weeks after having my car explaining my frustration with the single key. They were very kind and offered to pay for a second key! They have been truly great to work with.

I recently bought a Honda CR-V at Lynnwood Honda and the two salespeople I worked with were excellent! David Lyman and Matt O'Neal surpassed my expectations. They both were kind, respectful and extremely helpful. David and Matt spent time with me before and after the sale of my new CR-V. They patiently answered my questions and explained the ins and out of the car to me. I had many questions as I hadn't had a new car in 20 years. I was impressed with the treatment I received from both David and Matt. They are both honest and professional. Thank you for making my car buying experience a positive one.

I just purchased my new, (pre-owned) Honda Civic from Lynnwood Honda. It was such a pleasure to work withTroy Malchow. His customer service is impeccable. I was expecting to have a "trying" experience when I went to look at the car but this was not the case with Troy. I mentioned to him that I was going to look at some cars elsewhere and he said "okay". I fully expected him to tell me that if I waited the car would be sold or something to that effect. There was absolutely no pressure from Troy whatsoever. Troy was very kind and patient with me, and so easy to work with. I also want to give a shout out to finance manager Gabe. The sales person was okay . Took way too long and kept promising a car they didn't have and kept tried putting me in a car I didn't want .

Pushcased a Honda Accord Sport with one of the protection plans and have been trying to get them to install the mats and other items for almost a week now but whenever I call everyone has been unavailable . Was told I would be contacted by salesperson but they have yet to make contact.

These guys were absolutely awesome. I got half my paper work done before even driving down there and was out of there in less than an hour with a new car. My sales guy Jason was super helpful and found me a car without me even having to look for one. The manager there was also super laid back and was very helpful in purchasing a car. Highly recommend coming here to purchase a car from them!

Was an interesting! experience. The sales representative was quite unprofessional, kept making inappropriate jokes. I went there to purchase a car with an offer over KBB fair purchase price (had a different experience with the sales person calling 2 weeks earlier - I offered the same price as I was told could be possible).

Good guys initially, but be prepared to buy on the spot or they will sell (what car you wanted) without even giving you the chance to come in and get it first...working a deal with these guys for a week and they sold the car to someone else!

My husband and I wanted to trade in our Pilot and CRV for two new cars on the same day. We emailed Lynnwood Honda and another local dealership to schedule an evening to get this done. Lynnwood responded very promptly, which is why we chose to go there. Once there, the experience was the best car buying one we ve had to date. Troy Malchow was patient, kind and knowledgeable. He and other staff stayed at the dealership until after 10 pm to complete our transactions! We left that night with a 2020 Pilot Black Edition and a 2020 Accord.

We plan to use Lynnwood Honda for car buying and any service we need on our vehicles from now on.

Recently leased a CRV-EXL AWD 2016 from Lynnwood Honda. Had an awesome experience start to finish. Dealt with Gerardo Coll and Joe Burgos, both were so helpful and friendly. I continue my friendship with Gerardo long after the sale was completed, he is ever ready and available to answer all my questions, which is so much more what I expected.

Had a great experience. Came in expecting to spend a good amount of money for a new key & programming, but they set me up with a new key casing and off I went. I think it was around $30. Staff was friendly and they took care of my issue quickly & inexpensively. They could have said I needed to reprogram a new key and I wouldn't have known otherwise, so I appreciated the honesty.
