Nothing was in stock. My friend had traveled thousands of miles for a handbag, which wasn't available. There were some drunk people in the store which lowered the tone of the entire Champs Elysees.

The incident below has happened in the evening on the 23rd of January this year and I left the place around 17.20. I have taken the time out to write this review simply because it matters immensely.




As we turned left and walked ahead on the floor in question, I heard a sharp ripping sound. When I looked down, I noticed that the steel edges that were to form the lining for a table were not fixed on properly and the sharp edge that jutted out ended up shredding a bit of my favourite pair of jeans. Luckily I was wearing thermal wear inside so my skin wasn't cut and my thermal wear saved the day.

I realised how hazardous this could be to any other customer and wanted to bring this to the attention of the manager but I received about as much respect as the dwarves did upon meeting with the Goblin King. (LOTR reference)
When I brought this matter to the attention of this employee, he told me that it was impossible for it to have happened as the level of the steel was a few inches below the level at which my jeans were torn and that it has -definitely- happened before entering the store (his understanding of Physics is incredible.) When I repeated myself only to be rudely cut off, I cut him off again to tell him that the cameras were right there and that everything was -definitely- on record and that it most definitely did happen in this particular store. I told him that it was a safety hazard to have TWO such edges jutting out on different sides of one table to which he responded asking me why I would walk close to a table... (What?) Um, because a seemingly harmless table is placed right in the centre at a point where people make turns and I'm just an Oompa loompa trying to make my way through? (Physics!)

What if a child received permanent damage to his/her eye because of such irresponsibility? The edge was sharp enough to rip jeans for God's sake and I wasn't even walking fast: children tend to run.

I quite possibly failed an audition for a new Indiana Jones style action-adventure movie with dangerous objects in places you'd least expect.

When my friend asked if he could arrange for my jeans to be stitched before I left the building, he said he would do nothing of the sort as it wasn't his fault.
Louis Vuitton himself could offer to fix my favourite jeans for me now or thank me for possibly preventing a terrible incident from occuring but I will never have anything to do with this brand now and I will never sell out because having witnessed how confident this employee was about not getting into trouble for being so obnoxious and after judging by similar reviews, I call this a reflection of the company's values. Personnel like this behave the way they do when the people making the rules give them absolute power.
Such employees are only nice to celebrities who might face similar situations but the commoners must get out and go eat cake somewhere.

I have attached pictures concerning the incident so that customers remain alert and very careful. Only pictures of products are forbidden so this to ensure that customers aren't harmed (apart from being mistreated so much.)

When I told him that he could remember my name when I write a review about my experience, he said that 'it was an act of intimidation' and that he would take action against me for threatening to do that.


It's a must-visit for those who are used to incredible customer service but would like to experience the opposite for a change.

'Atithi Devo Bhava' might be something the personnel here might want to look up; it isn't limited to sectors, it is a way of life.

Very unpleasant experienced, far from what I wish to experience. I wouldn't mind the long queue but the attitude of the staffs makes me sick. Very unapproachable and rude when I asked the staff (who will allocate you to the sale's lady) if somebody can help us and where should we wait? She just answered me that they are busy and she doesn't know where I would like to wait (unfriendly tone of voice and not even a smile) . Trying to calm that time and while waiting to be noticed I've found a bag on a shelf that interest me so I asked the cashier if she knows the name of the bag beside her but for whatever extraordinary laziness she can't turn back her head to check it herself and decided to asked me to take picture of it so she can see it and which I did. After waiting for an hour an Asian sale's lady finally noticed me. Unfortunately the two bags on my wish list they don't have any stocks so ended buying a bag that I just decided that day. If I can give negative star I will do it. I tell you I won't be back there again and all my friends and relatives won't be going in that place. It's free to be nice especially if you're getting your wages from your customers.

The store was in chaos , it took the cashiers 45 minutes to get my shoes sorted and when she did , put them in a bad like they were from the dollar store not box just shoes in a bag ... the staff needs etiquette training

Took quite a bit of time to get someone to help you purchase an item and when offered beverages they didn't even come. Total trip took nearly 1.5 hrs to complete as it seems like there is not enough staff to support the volume of customers to the store in a timely manner. With that said our salesperson was fantastic and very clear when explaining and introducing items, so the four stars were earned by him!

This branded bag store is indeed phenomenal. Located on the famous street in Paris, Champs de Elysees. Buyers must queue for about an hour. Beautiful store interior makes guests comfortable. Complete collection and lots of stock guarantee the buyer who is tired of queuing. The supervisor can always persuade guests to be patient to be served by an assistant...er...with a glass of orange juice.
The assistants are professional and know their products well.
All shop crew respect all guests regardless of appearance and potentially buy or not. But I'm sure all guests will buy considering their struggle to enter this store...hehehe.
The store is very recommended.

Horrible experience at this Louis Vuitton store. Went into the store to purchase and view a bag, was looking for assistance none of the employees acknowledged me and asked if I needed help. Left the store without my purse and very dissapointed with the service in this store. Go to another Louis Vuitton store in Paris, not this one.

Every day, there are queues. It is a global flagship store. They all come together. In fact, there are many other stores in Paris. They don t line up, the shopping guide service is good, the price and the products are the same. Why bother to queue?

The line was out of the door!!!! I had a stroller with a baby so I was let in as soon as I got to the line. Finding someone to help me was a nightmare. I looked like trash because I had been out and about all day and was ignored for the longest time. I ended up purchasing two leather bags and a wallet and still customer service was severely lacking.

Since when do we favor clients in suits of a client in jeans? It's stupid a watch at 8900 euros would be sold otherwise. I am very disappointed with Louis Vuitton for this selective sorting.

We waited in line to get into the store (which is expected and is fine). Once we got in... while the store was beautiful, the management efficiency was not. BY ANY MEANS. We knew exactly what we wanted, so assumed that it would take us a few minutes to get in and get out. BUT NO, we had to wait for 30 mins before someone could "help us". Ok, I get it... you're a fancy store and want to give us an "experience" of opulence but waiting around doing nothing for so long (cant even walk around without the assistance) was just gut wrenching. Even after we got the bag, we waited 1 hour to get it billed!!!!!

So staff members, take a lesson or two about efficiency because no matter how nice you are to us, waiting 1.5 hours to get one bag will not make up for it
