The only reason why I'm given this a negitive review is because after submiting an online form they called back saying they will not declaw a cat and pretty much playing god! No where does it mention what they require and whats aceptable and what isnt. To me this is a waste of my time an effort. I live in a apartiment and have to follow guide lines so I do not make the rules I just follow them.

Amazing local run shelter for our furry feline friends. Friendly staff are always around, assisting with adoptions or helping keep this spectacular shelter spotless. Well behaved cats walk through the whole place, so be careful when you open the door. They can accept donations, call them or check their site to find out what they need. Check this place out for an incredible experience!

Might be nice to the cats they have but by ignoring adoption requests and putting good families through condescending interviews only to not respond afterwards they are condemning more cats to being euthanized. How so? If they responded reasonably to good families they could get more cats adopted and put more animals that are at kill shelters in foster care. Felt like crap after their interview process and we are currently great cat owners that provide attention, love and regular vet care to the cat we have.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Not only was it a horrible experience with the organization, they lied to me and adopted the cat they told me was mine behind my back. Shady organization.

We adopted our cat from Feline Rescue in March 2019 and it was a great experience! The adoption staff were very helpful and they provided us with lots of helpful information and advice. They also sent us home with a cat carrier, toys, and bed and a blanket.

What a loving place for cats. They have food, water, shelter, toys, blankets, are well care for. Some of the cats are free to roam about. You can see them up close and even pet them. The staff is busy cleaning and caring for the cats. A wonderful place to look for and find a cat or cats to give a home to. Or can even foster.

These guys have all the cats you need. They ate constantly full-up with kitties! We looked there when we were trying to find a cat, and they're great. Once I just asked if I could come to play with lonely cats, and they let me stay two hours. I appreciate that they try to keep some cats together that are a long time in the same clowder.
Also, good to note: There is a MNSNAP vet across the street from there facility where you can get discount services if you qualify. Don't think you'll qualify?
We adopted a stray kitten we found in our yard and qualified for getting her fixed at a very low price even though we never qualify for anything normally.

Our absolute favorite cat rescue center for either adopting or just going to cuddle. Thank you for all that you do! And for being a no declawing, no kill shelter! You are our first recommendation to anyone looking to adopt a new cat.

Was an overall good experience. They clearly take good care of the cats and give them adequate space. Cats that need special food are accommodated and the people working there are very upfront about the responsibilities of being a cat owner. I was able to adopt my cat with minimal fuss. All cats with adoptions pending are very clearly marked.

If I had a complaint, it would be that pick up day was very disorganized and time consuming...even though we had filled out 100% of the paperwork, we were made to wait. All said and done, it took over 45 minutes.

Wonderful organization if you are looking to adopt...

Wonderful organization if you are looking to adopt a shelter cat - kitten or adult. You walk in, sign in, and then are able to walk around and hang out with any of the cats who aren't sick. They have cats roaming around the building and in various rooms, and you see also allowed to visit any that are in kennels and open them up, pet, hold, and play with then (provided they do not get out). I have been describing it to people as "a cat cafe except the cats are happy". If you are a cat lover, you owe it to yourself to visit! There is no pressure to adopt, so drop by during visiting hours to get your cat fix!

I used to volunteer here few years back. The volunteers aka animal lovers dedicated entirely. They follow through and keep these felines happy, fed, and protect them with shelter.

I am impressed as they celebrated 20th anniversary recently. I saw so many of same volunteers and few new faces. Their outreach program should be commended along with fostering. Again, it's all done by volunteers who care.

Of course, the cats love and give affection. Everybody needs somebody. They are true companions. The cats I mean. Kudos to volunteers!

They have the best selection of the most precious cats! They are a no kill shelter, ran very well. The adoption costs include spay/neuter, shots and vaccines, vet check. Considering all the care they received, the adoption cost is a real bargain. Plus you can t put a price on true love If I ever have the privilege of adopting a cat, I will find my companion here.

Used to work here years ago so I'm very biased but places like this need to exist. Some animals get lost by the system or will often be hard to adopt and a place like this exists to prevent them from being put down. Volunteer staff are nice and the cats are fun to play with especially if you need to calm down after a hard day.

If you are ready to be a forever home for a kitty this is the place to go. They know their cats well and many live in foster homes while they wait. Cats are chipped and spay/neutered. This is a no kill shelter.

We inquired about a rescue cat, filled out the application & were all set to meet the cat who was housed with a foster family. The foster family abruptly decided to adopt the cat so we were notified & that was that.

We went there several times before settling on a pair of sweet cats. It's obvious to anyone walking through that door that Feline Rescue's management and volunteers are all passionate about what they do.

It is absolutely impossible to get a hold of anyone at Feline Rescue.
Found a cat I was interested in adopting, and after two emails, one online adoption application, a Facebook message, and three voicemails, I received no response. I wonder how many cats have not been adopted because of their extremely poor management.

DO BETTER, Feline Rescue.

In the process of adopting with them right now, so great. You can spend as much time as you want bonding with the cats, and they know each one's personality. They also give the cats vet, dentist, and wellness check ups before adoption, and will give you recommendations for care, local vets, and apparently do home visits. Highly recommend for both experienced and first time cat owners.

Great place, they clearly care about finding good homes for cats. Smells a little weird, but what can you expect when you have dozens of cats waiting to find homes in one place? The rules are strict, but they're for the good of the animals, so don't be upset if you don't want to follow them and they won't let you adopt.

When I decided I wanted to adopt a cat, I knew the kind of temperament that would best suite my household and made that information known when filling out the adoption application. Within 24 hours I was contacted by Christine and she told me she had a kitten in mind that seemed to be a good match. A meeting was set up with the foster mom, Julie, and I brought home my sweet little kitten yesterday. It's clear she was well taken care of (along with her littermates) and I was also given some of her favorite toys, her blanket, the food she was eating at her foster moms to take home with her, plus tons of information and vet records! The adoption fee was $175, which I think is incredibly reasonable considering the cats are all fixed, microchipped, vaccinated, and have been seen by a vet and been verified as being healthy when you bring them home. I am thrilled with how my experience went with Feline Rescue, and when the time comes I look forward to working with them again. Thank you so much Christine and Julie!

Thank you Feline Rescue for always coming to my rescue! From lost kitties needing 'chip' readings, to rescuing elder felines abandoned, to taking in strays on the street needing medical attention! Thank you for your helping ways! We appreciate you!

Lizzy, Courtney, and Hillary were all so helpful to me when I was looking for my furever companions. I adopted the most beautiful pair of sisters. Their volunteer staff is knowledgeable and top notch. It is very evident that they truly care for each and every kitty that comes in their doors.

5 stars for the way they treat thier cats & kittens.. thanks in large part to the vet staff that work so hard to treat & cure sick and injured kitties..
but a word of advice to anyone trying to adopt a cat.. do not go when a "volunteer coordinator" named Selma is working there. When I was volunteering there she worked on Friday nights. Very likely she will NOT let you adopt the cat(s) or kitten(s) you are interested in & will instead try to push another one of her choosing on you, like a used car sales parking lot. Ive seen her do it every night I volunteered to multiple people & both times when I tried to adopt (the 1st time a beautiful adult cat, the 2nd two kittens) with cash in hand (not to mention a long history of growing up with cats & dogs) she would not even give me the time of day, yelled at me for "bothering her" in the office & then claimed that she had no clue why I was "bothering her" on the job when all I was trying to do was adopt an animal & I was sick of her blowing me off. I would recommend finding out when she DOESN'T work & then going there then, because she thinks that Feline Rescue is all about HER, when Im pretty sure most people go there for the cats.

This is a great rescue, we adopted 2 brothers last year Bruce Lee and Yoda, They were fostered by a great young couple, who were in college and the kittens were socialized really well. We got them right before Thanksgiving 2013 and can't imagine life without them. Great experience, wonderful people doing great things for cats and kittens.

I adopted a beautiful cat! courtney White was greatly helpful in my experience. She really took an interest in helping me get an ESA for college. Would 10/10 recommend! The facility is great and fun to even just visit. They appreciate visitors as well, as the cats thrive off of human interaction and play.

They aim high to get the best placement for cats that need good homes, but are very strict with their rules. They definitely follow up with home visits and landlords to make sure each cat gets a forever home. I believe they take surrendered cats as well. Seemed like the building could use a couple more volunteers to keep it clean.

My granddaughter & myself talked about adopting a "special needs" cat that we visited here. I explained to her that there are people that just dismiss animals with "special needs" she thought that was just mean of people. (She has a very close relationship with her "special needs" cousin.) We had told them we wanted to adopt that cat. He was also a very loving cat. They said we can't. Reason: we have dogs, we felt he should be able to go outside. My granddaughter just stated crying, she had her heart set on having him. The woman that talked to us was also very rude, dismissing, & cold hearted. We wanted to give this cat a loving home. We have had cats in our home for years. (1 at a time of course) I will never understand. How mean people can be. Pretty sure he will be there for a long time. (The cat)

On our visit we were accompanied by a volunteer named Jodi. She was exceptionally pleasant and patient while we visited with quite a few cats and tested for their tolerance with small children. The facility itself was super clean and there was a continual cleaning of cat cages. I highly recommend visiting here if you have an interest in adopting.

Love stopping by! We got our adult kitty here a few years ago and we keep coming in to see what's new and to make sure Tiberius doesn't need a new brother or sister. Great customer service, lots of volunteers to tell you about each personality of each kitty. They have lots more online in foster homes too!

We came in to look at a cat for our home. We decided to ask what kind of cat would be best for our family. As we really care about it being best for the cat and our family. They walked through and they found a reason why every single cat was just not a good fit. Then they just stopped helping us. It was a pretty bad experience. Our hopes were crushed. Thanks for nothing Feline Rescue.

This is one of the best places to come, whether you're adopting, surrendering, or just wanting to visit some kitties. I was a visitor, but became an adopter when I met a big fluff of a cat. This place let's the kitties roam around and only a few are in kennels (usually the naughties or the new shy guys). One thing you must know (and should not be discouraged by) it is very unlikely that you'll leave with the cat the same day you visit. There is an adoption process and it can be frustrating, but hang in there, because I promise you it is worth it. Thank you Dawn (adoption processor) and Janet (Veterinarian) for all your hard work.

Whenever I visit this location, its always an enjoyable experience. One thing really unique about this place is that they let the cats roam around, which is a blast. All of the cages and litter boxes are very hygenic and all of the staff are very caring and nice individuals. :)
