Worst experience in a long time.

Worst experience in a long time.

Carpark is not secure with a lot of people hanging about on the roof. No-one about to help give directions or carts for bags.

1st my room was downgraded automatically on the mobile check-in and I had to wait on line for 30 mins to find they had no other options and offered me a small discount.

The room was pretty worn down, on one side it was directly above a roof with aircons on the top which was very loud and on the other the aircon in the hallway was broken and incredibly loud. The walls are paper thin and we got woke up several times in the night with people getting in.

Social distancing practices was ok. Food was Vegas. Was very very busy with A Lot of people. Won't be returning.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and pretty, with all the necessary amenities included such as iron, shampoo, lotion, towels, pad and pens to write, although I would had liked to have had a bigger closet and a tub, they were rather small. The view from our room was beautiful and made up for anything it lacked, we had a view from the 28th floor facing the mountains and most of the city. The buffet was delicious we had a waiter name JR he is the best definitely ask for him great customer service very attentive and super nice I highly recommend him, we loved it and recommend it hands down, it had plenty of food to choose from and much more when it came to desserts, and all at a good price for sure. We were going to go to the Bellagio buffet, but we're so glad we tried the one here at the Luxor hotel, so worth it. The elevators were a little old and moved so much they felt like they were going to break at any minute, but eventually we got used to the noise and movement. We loved the statues and all the decorations. The environment was good overall, I'm glad we chose this hotel, we'll definitely be back!! The only downside is that they should provide toothbrush toothpaste razors to the guest other than that is great.

I reserved the 2 story 3600 sq ft penthouse suite for my friends bachelor party this past week..... this is where the nightmare began. My very first night there I was robbed and although they caught those responsible they would not give me my money back since it was checked in as evidence. My second night there we checked into the penthouse to find not only was it not the room we reserved but we were downgraded with no notice at all because a high roller was given preference. They even knew the air conditioning was broken in this suite when they downgraded us. The bedrooms were boiling and extremely uncomfortable. They barely offered any explanation or compensation. I am never going to the Luxor again and unless you gamble millions of dollars each trip just know they can take away your room at a moments notice with no explanation. The maids were also extremely pushy and even though we told them about 6 times we did not need service they were extremely rude about it and wouldnt leave.

The hotel is not very new nor fancy. However, I have heard the prices are pretty cheap on certain days although the price I paid was comparable to other nicer hotels in the strip. I was also there during weekend. Wouldn't stay here again next time I visit Vegas.

Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Furniture could use some updating but one doesn't come to Vegas to sit in a room. Staff is friendly and very attentive. Casino has a good selection of games and decent restaurants on premises.

This was a great place to go and hang for a few hours. Great games in the casino, reasonable to walk the entire complex. A bit dark inside and while I like the casino to be poorly lit, the lobby and food court we're darker than expected.

We won four nights, and wouldn't have stayed at an on-strip hotel otherwise, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was large and clean and it was in the towers to the side of the casino and because of that, it was fairly quiet. We wanted early check-in and that part didn't quite work out but we left our bags at the bellhop station and that worked out perfectly. There is a nice Mexican restaurant in the mezzanine level. The buffet downstairs is pretty well stocked and we ate breakfast there, went again for coffee and cake in the afternoon and then used the all-day buffet ticket for dinner at the Excalibur buffet (but shouldn't have because the Luxor buffet looks so much better).

Beautiful hotel with very intricate and detailed Egyptian-themed decor all throughout. Lots of exhibits, shows and restaurants housed on the property to enjoy and explore before even stepping out onto the strip.

The casino was great, the bar tenders and waitresses were on point. The food court close and convenient to the rooms. The down side was the room, it had bugs. Roaches. I saw them the last day I was there, my friend said she had seen them since day one but was too embarrassed to tell me because I invited her and didn't want to make me feel bad. So embarrassed I took her there.

We stayed in a tower room. It was clean nice and comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily, very well. The customer service was great. The only thing I did not like was the buffet there and the casino needs updating.

Love the design of this casino, and it has great accommodations. My visit at the Luxor was great until I returned last night from Excalibur, and had to endure a 10 minute walk with an incredibly loud alarm. My ears were ringing the rest of my night.

Beautiful place. Absolutely love the entire Egyptian theme. However, there weren't any microwaves OR refrigerators in the suite...no doubt as means of forcing you to keep spending n the restaurants (that sucks!). I was never able to so much as reach Room Service. Onerall, a great experience but customer service isn't the primary focus.

We got a King Tower Suite ,let me tell you we were on the 2nd floor of the casino and our view was so trash!!!!!! Our original room was dirty (3rd floor) so they gave us a room on the second Floor.WE BOUGHT MORE THAN A WEEK IN ADVANCED AND GOT DOWN GRADED. Talked to the manager, who downgraded us , and said that the views that they have on there front desk and online is just for advertisement.REALLY. a dam suite on the 2nd floor with a view of the parking lot.APART FROM THAT THERE WAS A BUM SLEEPING BY THE GATE.there was not 1 person we seen on our floor for the whole 3 nights we stayed.Wall paper was coming off and taped on by Dutch tape ,soda machine was out.casino was boring.no club or bars with music.never going back I'll tell you that.

The Luxor is a fantastic place to stay in Vegas. I was here with a group of friends and they were able to be flexible and get us all on the same floor. In addition, the pool was really nice and it was really easy to navigate once you got your bearings. If you have the chance, Diablo's serves excellent food and drink, but is a little pricey. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Vegas!

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the Luxor. My dislike about the stay is that the parking lot is too far away from the casino. It took a while to tread up the hill to the casino, especially while the cold wind blew furiously. The customer service and the food from the Pyramid Cafe was delightful. The guest service agents were also friendly and helpful. I also suggest a small mini- fridge to preserve leftover food from dining out since their is no kitchenette provided in the rooms. Thanks and sincerely, Shaun

Interesting design with the pyramid but food options seemed limited and I saw trash laying around. A little more upkeep would go a long way. Otherwise a fun visit to play a few slot machines and table games.

If I can give this hotel zero stars I will. No refrigerator in hotel room unless you upgrade to a suite. I was just there 3 days ago. No coffee pot no ice scooper for the ice. Dont stay in the east tower congested hard to move around with the corners there, need your room key to the elevator got wrong information from hotel staff asking about the bodies exhibit, long walk from general parking to the front desk to check in. Takes almost 40 min to get one drink or even a small bottle of water, I wont be staying here ever again.

We went to their buffet and it was pretty good. We did breakfast over the weekend and they even had lunch items with the breakfast foods. The staff was great and our waiter, for the most part, was attentive and friendly.

Sadly the stay there was an inconvenience. No restaurants open other than the food court and it was limited. We had to go to other hotels to eat. The room was out dated. Luxor need renovation immediately. Luxor is an awesome idea but lacking energy and upgrades. Everything can be blamed on the COVID. Get it together!

Very bad experience at this place! Booked a room for two nights through Expedia and was charged hotel rate but not strip fee and deposit, such was to be charged at arrival. Upon arrival all the way from NYC I was informed my card isn't accepted (odd, since I already paid and the money was taken), and was advised by manager to ask a stranger to use their card for deposit and fee (!). Then was told they will "make an exception" (!). As if all that was not bad enough, I entered the room and it was nothing like advertised! The view out the small and dirty windows was the back of a brown building, without sky or light but full of pool pipes. (1st floor) It smelled like bleach and cheap motel, and looked like cheaper motel. I asked manager to be upgraded but was denied upgrade even with plenty of cash. Then I asked for different room and they said they will send cleaning staff to fix the smell. No thank you! Never again. Oh, side note: Blue man group show within the Luxor also disappointing! So many other nice hotels, why come here...

Loved the Luxor! If you're looking for high end Vegas swank go elsewhere, but to soak in the spectacle of Vegas go to Luxor and feel Pharaohonic! The lobby plays random 80s music videos to the songs you did not realize you needed to hear while you check in. Although dated, the elevators in the corners of the pyramid make for a fun ride as they travel up at an angle. Our room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfy! The views can be awesome depending on your room. The pool was a perfect hangover cure! Tranquil Nile setting, reasonable daybed rentals, and beautiful servers with views of the pyramid. We had the breakfast buffet, Mexican restaurant, and pizza from the food court and all are recommended! Also maintenance was quick to fix our jacuzzi when it would not drain! Overall, older but good hotel with reasonable prices and awesome Egyptian views to help you get away!

Elevators not really located conveniently, especially for the sheer size of the place. It's beautiful, very busy, very over stimulating in a very Vegas way. However, all three old charm of this "themed" hotel is sadly, gone. It's not really better for it, imo.

The outside is so beautiful that the inside is terribly ugly. My experience was ok. The Luxor is out of date, and elevators are scary to ride on. I wished we could have taken the stairs or something than those elevators. I don t advise anyone to stay here. We went to other hotels that put the Luxor to shame. The best part about the Luxor, other than being in a pyramid, was the view

Overrated. I paid extra for a Deluxe Queen Room and it was very similar to a basic hotel room. Very disappointed, I upgraded to the next remodeled queen room and was more satisfied. There was no fridge or microwave and that was a big inconvenience. However, bathroom was a nice size, pool was really big and casino was okay. I personally would have rather spent the extra money stay somewhere else. Service was above and beyond.

I really enjoyed my stay at Luxor. They have the Blue Man Group show plus 'Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit' which are both worth checking out. You get good value for your money staying here as supposed to some of the pricier hotels on the strip.

I like the hotel but the fact that some business inside are to expensive. I was with family and wanted Starbucks, found out that a medium (tall) is 8 dollars. And the fact that the luxor charges 25.00 to make a long distance call. Like what if its an emergency and they need their 25 dollars. Its fun and all, but expense wise its too much. And for a state with high numbers for Corona, nobody is social distancing.

I hardly write these reviews! But since this stay at Luxor Hotel at Las Vegas was bad I want people to know how bad this hotel is. The lines to check it are long. Had a bad birthday waiting 2 hours to be able to check in. The keys to get into your room or even for the parkings don t function! The water won t go down while we were showering. And I still haven t receive the money they said would go back to my account after checking out. I know there s hotel fees and I believe it s like $80 for the 2 nights I stayed but I got charge the double! Terrible! My friends were going to stay here on their first trip & now they cancelled! I ve never had such bad experience on other hotels at the strip but this one!!! Terrible! Never again.

Our room was clean and our tub was HUGE! It was a very cold in the room though but the staff was amazing a brought us a heavier blanket. One down side is that there was no microwave, coffee pot, or mini-fridge (I guess they wanted us to spend money at their restaurants) oh and no bathroom vent! It gets steamy in the Luxor! ;) Best security though! I had a medical emergency and had been given painkillers, I was messed up anytime I went down to the casino floor to smoke but I felt vary safe! We had to cut I trip short and the front desk reimbursed us for the night we weren't going to use. The staff was super friendly and approachable! Even with the crazy amount of people that were either checking in or out, they smiled and honestly treated my husband and I like family and not just guests. Hotel is beautiful!!! We saw the Titanic exhibit and it was amazing! I loved all the food at the food court! The chicken tenders are to die for! Definitely would recommend staying here or at the vary least spend some time at their shows and exhibits!

It was very nice staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean with the exception of the the bed. The covering of the mattress was covered in hair. I understand its Vegas and it's a busy hotel, but I felt like that should've been cleaned after every guest. Also there was elevator security which was nice but they weren't there all the time which didn't make since at all. Sometimes the card machine in the elevator did not work when we used our room key. And since we were on the 2nd floor we would miss our floor and sometimes have to ride it the up and then back. This happened in several elevators either onside worked both sides didnt always work. Pool was very nice as well as the staff there

Stayed in a king corner suite, very top floor. Meh. Wasn't worth anything close to $300 a night. There's better placea to stay. Good if you get a cheap cheap cheap cheap deal on Groupon, etc. Otherwise. Meh. Glorified Quality Inn (my opinion). Dated too. How do they not have the money to reno hallways and carpets... It Vegas. It's a money machine.

I'm going to start off by saying I never write reviews, very seldom. I'm a Platinum /Noire member with MGM... Whatever they consider me at this point. My stay at the Luxor was on par with the Vdara where I usually stay. Richie, Director of Hotel Operations here at the Luxor is obviously doing something right with the property. Stay in the Tower Rooms for the best experience. Keep up the good work!!

Even though the room was supposed to be "sanitized" it was filthy! The carpet was dirty, the sheets looked like the hadn't been washed, and the bathroom had hair in the bath tub and shower had mold on the bottom of the shower door. It was our first and last time we that we will stay there.

Nice casino and hotel the only issue is the strong smell of humidity in our room and the feeling of humidity also in the room! We called housekeeping and its like they don't care.
My parents (both on the 60) have this mornig pain in their bones. We still have 5 nights in the room.

Hotel was nice. We stayed the weekend so it was a little expensive but worth it. Casino floor was filled with every type of machine or game you'd want to play. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Room was nice but we couldn't get it to cool down during the day. Close to the hockey arena, within walking distance. Hotel clean, staff friendly.

The room was very clean and luxurious. But let me emphasize LUXURIOUS. You need to have a lot of money saved for this specific hotel if you want to have a good time. The pricing for everything is ridiculously expensive. A simple bottle of water could range anywhere between $5-$13. So you could assume what food costed. $500-$600 later my family could say we had an okay time. Not exactly worth it.

Shabby and surprisingly noisy, even in my room on the 9th floor. Rooms need updating (no usb ports for charging, old battered furniture and frayed chairs, ugly popcorn ceiling, etc.), but are mostly clean... I had a big stain on my bedspread (I'll leave it to your imagination, but you're right). I was pretty disappointed. Food prices are outrageous, but that's typical I guess.

The rooms were very outdated and dark. I didn't think the staff was as friendly as it used to be. I didn't like being harassed as I walked around the casino to buy show tickets. the pool was overcrowded because they were only using a small portion of the available pool. The food is ungodly expensive. The sportsbook area is very small compared to other hotels.

I regrettably pressured my son to coming out to see this hotel with me. I previously saw it while it was still in it's prime back in late 90s. I don't think it's been updated since. Wow factor went from waaawww to Oh Wow. Although it's still a beautiful hotel, it looks better from the outside I hate to say it.

The blue man group show was Absolutely amazing. Breathtaking and very very funny.

There is no bad seats! If you get the more expensive splash zone seats, you are more likely to be selected to participate in their show in some form.

Those in the back and the sides got a few selections too but not as much as the folks who paid top dollar.

Always a great price. Location is super convenient, as well. Last time I was there, we noticed they took the refrigerators out of the rooms, which was super disappointing, as we had no where to keep our yummy left overs from all the fancy restaurants.
