Was told the wrong directions to my room. I ended up walking the entire perimeter to get to my room because the first directions ended up with me, blocked by a construction door that they forgot was still being used.

Half the elevator buttons are broken. And the card readers look broken.

My room itself. I had no ice bucket and called for one, they said they forgot. The ice machine itself doesnt work. I had to walk to a second one that was on the other side of the hall.

My room had no mini fridge. Idk if that's just a thing.

And lastly, I know the pandemic caused a lot of restaurants to close or close early. It would have been nice if they communicated the new hours of operation but its honeslty hit and miss, with what's open

Stay was okay some of the staff was rude but overall most staff is at best OK. Hotel conditions are not the best. Water leaking in the several hallways staff not willing to fix it. I think they are trying to milk as much money out of it before MGM tears it down. I feel MGM is lacking on treating of us a good customer. I get better treatment with other companies.

It's ok, I just REALLY miss the days when the casinos all had themes be with matching decor, it was fun and basically free entertainment. Now they're all the same: casino area, various restaurants, and SO MANY STORES. It's really less of an experience now in my opinion, but they must all be doing ok business. IDK, I live here now so I try to usually visit the places that still offer some sort of interesting sights other than just shopping so many of the strip casinos, such as the Luxor, so I don't visit the strip near as often as I could!

Although the room looked like someone was murdered and they stragicly hung a painting over the blood stain the bed was comfy and after spending a few nights at Caesar's the price difference was welcomed. The pool was awesome even though one of them was closed down and the blue Man group was fantastic! Overall a great experience at the Luxor and I would recommend for a good affordable vacation.

I haven't had the pleasure of staying at to many hotel & casino places in my time. But I've had the pleasure of staying at this one. The stay was amazing! I was lucky enough to know a M life rewards member(that's MGM's resorts rewards programs.) and checked in the VIP lounge. Grade A lounge and perfect place to rest after a long flight. We checked it the best room available and every inch of the room was very high standard. I almost didn't want to unpack because the room was so nice. There are countless activities to do inside the resort to keep the whole family busy. Plus a great pool. Also the decor of the entire places makes you feel like Egyptian royalty. Plus it's close to a 24 MCDONALDS and Subway.

Also all the staff is amazing. So polite and nice. This place is definitely worth the investment no matter what your plans are in Vegas.

Absolutely impressive place. Restaurants are great, tower room was really nice. Worst part about my visit, by far, was the wait to check in, which is ridiculously long. Further, the casino needs more table games especially Let It Ride tables. Guess they don't want you to play tables here. I had to play elsewhere. Otherwise, it would be a 5 star rating.

Loved the Egyptian designs. Very upscale conditions. Patrons were required to wear face masks and provided masks if needed. Only thing I didn't like was the quality of the food served at restaurants inside hotel. No microwaves in rooms.

Stayed here a few years ago now, but the experience was really good. Hotel staff were lots of help with any questions. They even set me up with a rewards card and discount cards, mostly for gambling. Layout of the hotel is really cool. The rooms are nice, the slant to the windows took a bit of getting use to, especially when looking outside but pretty cool hotel. I also checked out Criss Angel Mind Freak. I must say that show was one of the best times i ever had. Ive seem him twice now. Would definatly stay here again. It is a little ways down the strip so if your not too keen on walking, then cab is your best bet or perhaps another location. But it is still close to everything as you cant walk anywhere on the strip without seeing something cool and fun!!

Amazing stay! From the moment of booking to arriving we were treated so well,
Our room got upgraded for our night stay and it s so dope that the Bodies exhibit is inside the building. It s jaw dropping looking at the ceiling and complete structure of the lobby itself! Our suite was so nice plus there was a huge hot tub!! Definitely recommend going to Lush before your stay.

It started rough as I was valeting a trailer. I had confirmed they would park it beforehand, but when I arrived they stated they wouldn't. Took a while to hash it out and they were AMAZING. Great service. Top floor suite was great with an amazing view. Wait staff was extremely friendly.

This is one of the coolest hotels I've ever been to. The diagonal elevators are very intriguing. Blue Man Group is amazing. The Titanic exhibit was sobering and awe-inspiring. The Bodies exhibit was unlike anything I've seen before. The size of the lobby is dizzying. My wife and I were extremely impressed with this place!

Very nice. The rooms are excellent. The facility is new and extravagant. The shopping is excellent, the buffet is costly but close and excellent. The attractions are great. Worth staying in the Luxor.

I had a great time overall. Some staff are not welcoming and have no sense of urgency. My suite was beautiful just wish it had a microwave. Mobile check in was a plus and my key was sent to the app. No lines no wait.

The pool area was nice but since it's the off season, they had no food service and half the area was closed for renovations. The cabana I rate a 9 out of 10 due to all the bird pop on the chairs. We had to clean them and put 2 towels on them before we could use it. The staff were on point with the complimentary bottled water and snacks.

The bathroom handle door was dirty, the shower was nasty and the water didn't drain. Maintenance didn't seem concerned and didn't arrive within an hour. The windows have grease marks where people have pressed their faces. The wood veneer on the table is worn, and the electrical plugs are very loose. The a/c either freezes you, or if you turn the temp to 70 you roast. No coffee pot, microwave or mini fridge even though you pay a $25 per day resort fee. I won't stay here again.

The Luxor is a unique beautifully designed hotel with the Egyptian theme all over. The elevators move diagonally because of the pyramid shape.
Lots of cool shops, shows and restaurants with a large buffet downstairs. You can walk to the Mandalay Bay, Delano and Excalibur through the hotel.

The downside of the hotel is that it's getting old and needs major updates to fresh it up.

Overall the experience is nice and definitely worth it.

Don t go during covid. They want you to check in with an app. They took all accessories out of the room. Not even a fridge. Try calling the front desk and no one will answer. I switched rooms once due to an issue and I m the second room, the tv didn t even work. It was just a hot mess for the amount that I paid. Never again at Luxor.

very cool experience, but the hotel needs a bit of a facelift. everything feels a bit used and abused. The walls are also paper thin at night. I was woken up many times by people in the hallway talking, and the neighbor's baby crying.
the exhibits there are incredible, and the smoothie shop they have is absolutely delicious.

Such a gorgeous place the sites and sounds of the casino and hotel will be forever lasting in my mind and heart. Such a wonderful time for the second phase of our honeymoon. Spoloric-Hairston honeymoon times two.

This hotel is Beautiful and amazing!!! Unfortunately we didn't stay here, but where able to visit... We did go to the "Bodies" show and it was impressive, but they don't let you take pictures or videos inside

I didn t get the room I paid for. My reservation was for a room in the pyramid plus breakfast, but they sent me to MGM tower with no breakfast. Not enough, my sink was clogged and the guy who was supposed to fix it never came. Also, no fridge in the room, room very noisy and long waiting for any assistance.

Will NEVER stay here again!!! We're staying here for 4 days because of a friend's birthday and this is where they were staying. In the room,
There are NO refrigerators (had to pay $25 a night for one to be brought up) No clocks, No guest book on room to discuss room service or menu. When I looked up the in Room dining on line they only serve until 2:00 p.m. The Concierge goes home at 4 PM WHAT??? No restaurant open 24 hours... shall I continue? And when you call to ask a question, like with the refrigerator after holding for 15 min. They have a horrible attitude. They only care about you gambling and drinking not your comfort for the $$ you're spending. NEVER AGAIN...WORSE Hotel in my life!!!

The beds here were so comfortable we almost didn't want to go home! Staff members were all approachable and helpful, and the mobile options for check in and out made it a breeze to arrange our stay. The only drawback to staying here is the dining options, which are a little limited and mainly grouped in the drafty center of the pyramid. However, I would absolutely stay here again.

I had a 3 day reservation booked, but my car broke down on the way to Vegas, which forced me to reschedule.
I was hoping the hotel would be understanding, but they offered me nothing.
I would have been happy to pay a rescheduling fee, or even pay extra if the rates were higher.
Pretty disappointed. I definitely won t be staying here on future trips to Vegas.

The cost for amenities and services available not that great. Food court cost of food is ridiculous. Called housekeeping for towels 2 times that never arrived. Should be common sense if you are staying multiple days multiple towels will be needed.Overall a big disappointment.

If you're not planning on spending a lot of time in your room, this is the hotel for you. Otherwise don't bother. Elevators are rickety and take forever. Difficult to navigate the hotel to rooms because there's only 2 elevators in opposite corners and they don't go to every floor. So if your room isn't on an elevator side, be prepared to hike. No mini-fridge or mini-bar, no coffee maker, no full-length mirror. Outdated furniture, poor wifi and cell connection. Poor lighting in the bathroom.
The customer service was great though and location was good, can easily take the tram to Mandalay or Excalibur resorts (or walk, sometimes it's faster). Loved the pool, very relaxing and big enough to spread out. Not inundated with children and aesthetically pleasing. Probably won't stay here again though until some serious updates/renovations.

Checking in was terrible. People all over the place, sitting on the floor blocking the aisles, no one telling them to move.
I had a remodeled 'premium' room in the pyramid. Nothing I saw in it looked premium to me. Hate to see a regular room.
Mlife desk messed up my redemption for the buffet. The buffet cashier had to call the mlife desk to fix the error which resulted in a 15 minute phone call and extremely long wait for me and all the people in line behind me.
The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the check in hostess and buffet cashier were both very nice and helpful.

Unique hotel with good food and fun. We loved our room overlooking the Excalibur and even the elevator that goes up at a slant. On the south end of the strip buy close to all the action. No problem

During our anniversary trip to Las Vegas last month, we visited Bonanno's New York Pizzeria in the Luxor Food Court & had their Stuffed pizzas. After the sticker shock of paying $9 each, I completely understand the price point. It was one of the best things we've ever tasted! So good, we ordered 2 more the next night. Very filling & scrumptious!

Pro:

Pro:
Beautiful Egyptian themed decor
Clean (didn't find bed bugs after inspection)
Spacious room (premium queens tower).
Casino, restaurants, mall in lobby.
Express checkout.
Early check-ins (depends on availability).
Lyft, uber, cab or limo pickup stops in front of main entrance.

Cons:
Long check-in lines.
Its like a maze to get to your room.
You have to pay to use one pool, or go to the OVERLY crowded pool with everyone 1-inch of each other.
Pay to use pool umbrellas ($85-$250).

If I was rating this place on value, it should probably be 5 stars. But, I m rating it for what it is which is a really gross hotel where you should spend as little time as possible in your room. Fortunately, you re in Vegas, so that s an easy thing to do.

It was a great experience I would definitely stay again as long as I get the room I booked this time without getting a room I didn't want and had to wait next day to move to the room I reserved.

It's a really great place to stay at. It's cheap. We reserved a king suit room but since they were out they put us in a double queen bed room. The beds were clean except on the bed frame there were stains. Other then that the hotel itself is really nice and comfortable.

I stayed prior and was unhappy with the room and some of the staff. So I was offered a discounted suite room rate and $100 food credit. The suite was clean but needs massive updating. What hotel room doesn t have a full length mirror? Also no drawers or wardrobes to put clothing. The closet with 4 hangers is inside the bathroom. I won t ever be returning. Especially considering I had to contact them after the fact about the $100 credit they owed me. If I didn t check they never would have given it to me. Never again

Right out of the Egyptian history books. This lifesize Pyramid with a Sphinx is truly breathtaking. The locals say that a ghost may be lurking on the grounds. A clean and well taken care of resort. Terrific casino and restaurant. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and courteous to help make your stay over the top

We paid $230 for a night stay. When we got to the room and got settled I was going to get a glass of water and noticed the sink had not been cleaned. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile as there was a rotting lemon in the drain. I called house keeping and had them bring new sheets blankets and pillows cases because I felt like the room wasn't cleaned properly. They came changed all bedding and then cleaned the sink. I got into the shower and almost fell because of their shower drain screen was lose and slid out. Not impressed at all for being a nice place to stay it seemed over priced for having these issues. I am giving it two stars as the house keeping was to our room quick and the lady was very nice.

I loved this Hotel. Staff are amazingly friendly everyone I came across were very responsive and made you feel like you are VIP. Very Clean with attention to social distancing. From waiting for the elevator even the pool area. Frequent reminders the importance of wearing masks and social distancing through the over head speakers and even on tv screens. Highly recommend for families and couples. Great view from Pyramid, I suggest the West side 27th floor we had perfect view of the Raiders Stadium, at night its lit up.

Room was clean and spacious (2 beds slept 3 adults comfortably). The hotel lobby check in took longer than expected, so prepare to wait in line for awhile. Hotel location is great and there are things to do inside the hotel (gambling, shops, museum, restaurants, etc.)

Very professional and friendly employees. Great decorations and a fun atmosphere. Make sure to bring your parking ticket in with you so you can pay before leaving. Great food here also and they have a Starbucks right near the gaming. If you need to get your gaming card, you can go to the MP Members desk next to Security. Great people, great fun!

The hotel room we stayed in could use some upgrades. Also they could clean better before the next guest arrives . Our room smelled like someone had been smoking in there. The pool is nice .Get there early if you want a chair it gets packed. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The pool is nice and all that but the thing I didn t like was you are not allowed to switch hdmi on the tv. We called the front desk and they said they disabled it from there TVs. It sucked because we brought our Xbox planing to watch Netflix or play games in the time we were in our room but we couldn t. That s pretty much the only bad thing about the hotel though.

The room was comfortable. No fridge or coffee maker. The staff was not very friendly with the exception of of 2 or 3 people. Made us feel like helping us was a chore. The buffet was nasty, a complete waste of money. Blue man group was phenomenal. It's pretty far from the strip so taking cabs got expensive. If you want to be in the middle of everything then you may want to stay closer.

Old building and the rails on a high floor shake sadly. Other than it being a sketchy building, I wish it will stay. It's so unique it should be a Las Vegas Historic building and renovate it!

My first time going to Vegas and i will definitely return! Even though we came the day after Christmas everyone was so nice and helpful. The scenery was beautiful and the strip was amazing! The room was ok the bathroom was big and spacious but my room leaked once it started raining. Luckily it didn't rain the whole time we were there. Overall i will stay at the Luxor again

It was a good experience. Room was cozy and big. Their ventilation sucks! Food was okaish. Their front desk service is very slow and they are understaff. Look for deals. With a deal price everything matches up to the mark.

It a decent hotel as far as things to do for it to be 4 stars the rooms are very dated and old for the price to me. I think I could do better for the money and the staff was far from friendly.

The Luxor is still one of the best deals in Vegas. If you've never ridden an elevator that moves perpendicularly, that novelty alone is worth a visit. Its proximity to Mandalay Bay and the Shops at Mandalay Place, a host of updated rooms, and an easy-to-access pool area makes this one of the nicer options options of the older hotels on the Strip. And one other perk, no matter where you are at night it's always easy to figure out where your hotel is. The beam of light shining off of the tip of the Luxor pyramid is bright enough to be seen from outerspace.

Doesn't feel like a whole lots been updated room-wise since it's been built. The new upper level restaurants and food court are nice, but since I spend a good amount of time in the room due to having to do work, a little updating would be nice. No closets so they use armoires painted in Egyptian hieroglyphs that had been completely rubbed off due to use. The sheets seems like they were the same ones since the grand opening. Angled elevators are cool but when it sounds like they're going to disconnect and send us all tumbling down, or constantly rocking back and forth its not reassuring to the guest!

Despite Vegas being a ghost town, this trip was pretty fun! Everyone is masking up and the Luxor took extra care to make sure that the casino was continuously sanitized.
Note: masks are mandatory. They provide them if you don't have one, but beware. We saw on 3 different occasions of ppl being arrested and walked off the property. #SaveLivesMaskUp
