Tower side is where we stayed. Hotel is nice and just large enough to not get lost. Lots of game options available and attached to Excalibur if you want a change of scenery. Food options are also good. If you have a comp and resort credit, be sure to ask what you can use your credit on. Also, check in can be a bit of a lengthy process

Amazing structure, lots of cool old Egypt decorations, great photo opportunities, I haven t actually stayed in the hotel so my review is only on the decorations, regarding the hotel do not be fooled by the room price you first see when you search online, just like all other Vegas Strip hotels taxes and resort fees will be added so the real price is more than double the advertised price.

A great hotel, as many of the Vegas hotels on the strip are. They have an ongoing Blue Man group show that's been running for years and is always entertaining with new material even if you see it multiple times.

The rooms are nice. As is the case for most of these huge hotels, expect to walk a bit to get to your room, but once you get there, the rooms are nice. The lower levels have some rooms with views that are blocked by the pyramid, but if you're there for a conference and never on your room, that may not be a problem.

There are casinos, restaurants and convenience kiosks on the lower level. You can also access the Mandalay Bay and Delano by tunnel and there is easy access to the monorail to reach the Excalibur.

Luxor in the recent years has been updating their look. The pyramid rooms are updated, very clean and roomy considering you do loose head room closer to the window due to the slope. A couple things that made the room uncomfortable were: beds were very lumpy and hard but once you found that sweet spot sleep was decent, and the ventilzation/humidity control in the room was terrible. It rained the first day we got there and the entire room smelled wet and there was a dampness that continued during the weekend. As well the bathroom fan was automatic when you turned the lights on and it was super loud, I'm surprised it didn't wake up the entire floor. The concept is neat, the casino has everything you need. The easy connections to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur made it easy to jump between casinos.

I was visiting the states for the first time and Vegas. Was excited to be staying at the Luxor, unfortunately on arrival I was less than impressed. The foyer is huge and impressive but travelling from AUSTRALIA the smell of smoke was just overpowering.
I had a pyramid queen room, very very dated, noisy aircon unit that was struggling to keep up so my room stunk of smoke.
No complimentary water
No fridge
On the plus side the the bed was comfy enough and the staff are friendly but I figure that s just the States and the service driven environment.
The mono rail/ tram skips from mandalay/Luxor and excalibur but unless your a gambler it s fairly useless. If it linked with the main mono rail that might be useful.
For me I spent as much time out of the hotel as I possibly could as the smoke started affecting my lungs.
I understand Vegas is the place you go to do whatever you like but I ll be looking to stay elsewhere on my next trip.

Stayed here for the past 3 days. To be honest no complaints. Great staff, once you get the layout of the hotel you will see everything is easily accessible. Dealers are great, lost money but the time I had made up for it. Great place to stay if you're in the neighborhood.

Staff were fantastic - Devin who checked me in, made the process go so smooth!
It was my first time staying at the Luxor, as I had 4 nights comp from my previous trip.

Clean your rooms!!! OMG like I hope there are no other rooms worst off than mine was - I have been home for 4 days, and so far my health is fine. The pictures will explain themselves and I will 99% will never go back - Also plug your nose when you walk by the pool from the parking lot into the hotel.

Bit far location, not central location. Room is very dusty, not clean properly and super long time to get check in. No mini bar, only soup, shampoo and body lotion provided. But nice theme hotel, big size room for 2 and staff seem nice. Pool and outside is good to enjoy

The room and View was beautiful I was on the 14th floor room -14211
I would of gave it five stars but, the only reason I gave it three is because the pool area you're not allowed to bring any drinks in if you want something to drink or snack on you have to buy it from the Cabana inside the pool area and it is ridiculously outrageously priced $10 for a 20 oz bottle of water and then $29.51 for a alcohol beverage with two shots of liquor in it. $15 for a 24oz beer and its a cheap generic beer at that
You should be allowed to bring in at least bottle of water you're in the hot sun you need to stay hydrated and $10 for a bottle of water ridiculous.

Costumer service was amazing. Due to military obligations I was unable to make my vacation days. The representative I spoke too was very understanding and vouched for me. 10/10 I will for sure come here next time I visit Las Vegas!

This place is pretty awesome. I'm so amazed by how much they fit into such a small place. My 3 year old loved their slush drinks (slightly expensive for ice with sugar, but tasted amazing and made him happy)

Great interiors ( Egyptian and Mayan themes), it's connected to other casinos as well. Rooms are all right seem a bit old but nice. Only thing I didn't like with the casino is that there are no poker games but it's connected to two other casinos who have poker cash games, so all good

The Luxor has the most comfortable beds and is so quite you'll sleep like your in a tomb. The Luxor has great decor, great places to eat and it's just an exciting place. I don't know what else to say. Go there.

The Luxor is so enjoyable with the various shops and things to enjoy and see. Beautiful building inside and out. One of the main reasons I love it is, I walked in the door and could breathe fresh clean smelling air as all I can smell is nasty cigarette smoke most times, which flares my nose up, and makes me nauseous, while in Vegas now, including in the hotel my guy and I ended up staying in. The Luxor is so clean too!

Very friendly staff. Check-in and check-out were both easy (mobile check-out is awesome). We stayed in a Pyramid King room on the 22nd floor. Pay attention when the person helping you check in gives you directions to your room! Our room was updated and quite nice, although it would have been a little nicer to have USB ports or more outlets next to the bed.

Food and beverage prices are typical for the strip-a bit high. There are a large number of slot machines but not nearly enough video poker games. If you go to the food court, save the paper from your tray-there are a bunch of buy-one-get-one-half-off coupons.

I had a great stay at the Luxor. The staff were friendly enough, and check in/check out did not take very long. I love the atrium style interior of the main pyramid complex. Just outside of your room is a great view of the casino floor. There was a Starbucks literally within 100 steps (and an elevator ride) of my room. The Luxor is located on the South end of the Las Vegas strip, so there was plenty of entertainment within walking distance. The only complaint that I can think of is that there were a few empty shops within the Luxor atrium that were "blacked out". It made a small portion of the casino seem abandoned. With all of that said, the rooms were very well priced, (even with the "Vegas tax") the rooms were very clean, and the overall theme of the resort is aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely be staying here the next time I am in town.

At the moment I feel that the hotel is below average because it is so old and outdated now. What is really old and outdated are the rooms from all the wear and tear. Beds have like zero support from either being cheap beds or from all the overweight people which have slept in them. When one hops in bed the mattress literally sinks. The room we were in had a foul odor/smell to it from carpet and what ever else smelled bad. The sink was clogged so water did not flow properly. Pillows were horrible with no support. The air-conditioner/heater inside room was really really noisy. Parking at $10 per day was OK but should be free for guests. See images attached

Overall the hotel is a little run down but still good. When I checked in our room had s horrible odour, very damp and I realized after the floor was wet. It was like there was a backup or something. The front desk said they will try and get the smell out but they couldn t so we got our room changed. The standard rooms are nice because they have a few chairs to sit on.

Really beautiful hotel and casino. I did stay there a few years back and we were put right over a bar or night club because at night I could hear the music below us in our room, but wasn't bothersome as we weren't planning to sleep much.
Otherwise it was great then and great now. Restaurants a tad pricey in there but still good. There is a food court in the upper level.

I came here tonight because I have an early flight in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised that they upgraded my room, which was a nice thing. However one of the beds in my room has a hair on the bed, there is crumbs in that bed as well and a Bobby pin on the floor. I m too tired to walk the mile back to the front desk and stand in line for another 25 minutes to tell them about it. Taking my chances in the bed that looks clean. Fingers crossed.
