Pretty on the outside but a nightmare to navigate on the inside. You see evidence of age and neglect, especially with the elevators which shake like crazy (no inspection posted). Once you got to your floor, the walk to the rooms was about two football fields in length. The room was small and decor outdated. If your on a budget and love to walk miles and miles while pushing an elevator button that rarely lights up, this is the place to be.

Excellent service, great casino, clean pool, good buffet, amazing price, and clean rooms and well kept rooms. Oddly, no cups or coffee maker in room, so you'll have to go to the main floor and buy water or bring your own cups. Buffet has an all day pass for $45, which was nice to be able to pop in and out for Mimosas, coffee, and food whenever you want at the Luxor and Excalibur. Good option if you plan to spend a day near the hotel.

Over the years, we've stayed at Luxor 7-8 times. ...

Over the years, we've stayed at Luxor 7-8 times. This visit was first in 9 years. We chose it as part if a vacation package. First off, when we parked in self parking, it's pay by the day parkings. Check in clerk said all strip casino charge 10/day parking because of Raiders new stadium being built. Upon checking out, we hit with a 44/day resort fee so parking and resort fee cost me an additional 160 bucks. Our room cost went from 49/ night to $99/night. In Las Vegas, you only sleep in the room. I don't use the pool, don't eat there, don't use the clubs or spas. A stay resort fee of $50 would be fine but not every day.
Our room was clean and we tip the housekeeping staff for their hard work. I didn't notice anyone hitting jackpots.
Went to the Rio for a show, they have free parking. I'll stay there when we go back in a few months.
Staff was great. Everyone from check in to housekeeping were wonderful.

I accidentally booked a room through booking.com, within a minute, I called the hotel to cancel it. They did not refund it. And I did not stay there. Whereas I went to a hotel in Grand Canyon, I was not able to go to the hotel because of the road closure, they kindly refunded me everything. Even though I was able to get there if I take another road which would take me 2 hours. Hmmm. which one is the right way to provide service?

This was a very unique hotel and a very great stay! I had a newly renovated room and it was very nice. One thing I wish my room had was a mini fridge at the very least. A microwave would have been nice also, as I had an extended stay, but it allowed me to go out and try the food that s around and even in the hotel.
This hotel is connected by a walkway that s indoors and will take you to the Mandalay Bay Hotel and in that hallway there are many shops and restaurants. I tried many of them and it was great for those days you might not want to go outside but still get out your room and see something. There s definitely a lot to do between the two hotels.

We stayed in a remodeled room in the west tower. For the price, it was absolutely fantastic. The only complaint I had was that it had no bathroom fan. I hate it when rooms don t have bathroom fans. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It didn t smell like stale cigarette smoke. I would absolutely stay here again.

Had an amazing stay here. Loved every minute. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was great. Our son loved the HyperX EA Arena. Got trapped in the car park lift in 104 deg heat. Not ideal but got rescued by Security eventually. Next time I'll stick to the car park stairs

Didn't actually stay at Luxor but we did eat at Diablo's, which we do every time we come here. Diablo's Cantina seriously has the best food but the service is a little slow. Don't go there expecting to be in and out quickly.

The Luxor is a decent place to stay on the strip. The rooms are nice and you can get some good views from some of the rooms as you can see in the pictures. The prices to stay here are usually very reasonable. We like to stay in one of the suites with the oversized soaking tub which is nice to relax in after walking all day on the strip. The restaurants here aren't fantastic and the buffet is terrible, but there's plenty of other places nearby on the strip to go and eat so not a big deal. The Blue Man Group show is a fun one for the kids and they're very interactive with the audience. Be aware though that there are A LOT of strobe lights in their show that can be off putting if you're sensitive to them.

This hotel was nice. But the dealers were rude, and everything was shut down and the shops were gouging for water and amenities. A bottle of water was 5 dollars. I feel like. This was unacceptable being as the hotel is a little out of the way.

Finally got a renovated tower room. Much better than the pyramid when you're on a business trip. The bathroom was clean, bed was comfy. No smell of smoke which was nice. The 24hr gym was not far from the room. A much more pleasant stay.

My husband and I stayed here during Covid on the way to Utah from California. It was nice of them to provide Covid kit(masks, key ring and sanitizer) for the stay but a lot of people weren't masks and didn't seem like they were taking rules very seriously. Also just note that unless you booked the 30 dollar food and beverage credit with your reservation, you will not receive the credit.

Always enjoy staying at the Luxor, we've been as a family many times.
Its a well equipped, clean hotel.
The Buffet is always well stocked although for Breakfast we do prefer the Pyramid Cafe, normally because in the morning I'm too tired/lazy to fend for myself and prefer table service, the staff are great especially with the kids.
Staff are always really friendly and helpful. Yea there are bigger and more expensive hotels on the strip but I've never had a problem here and I think the fact it's away from the centre of the strip makes it so easy to get around, get taxi or bus pickup without the big queues created when some of the shows kick out like Love at the Mirage can create a long wait for a taxi.

Can't wait to come back when Covid Restrictions allow.

The pyramid hotel and casino, 5 stars even thought the staff could use a stay or tour of their own work place as to be a tad more helpful and knowledgeable about the rooms. I call front desk and couldn't tell me anything about the bath situation which was advertised on website bath / shower combo but no way to actually plug the tub and front desk was clueless.

Staying at the Luxor was an enjoyable experience. The room, casino, and the pool were all really nice. I felt like they did a good job following Covid safety procedures. I took off a star because parking and checking in and out could have gone smoother. It felt clunky and there wasn't a welcoming atmosphere. Overall I recommend at least checking it out even if you don't stay.

Great weekday deals for rooms. Out of the two quite dated rooms one smelled really bad. Not even a complimentary bottle of water in the room, or a water fountain available somewhere. Water bottles for sale costed 5$-everywhere. The pool area is nice. When we booked it wasn't mentioned anywhere that you had to pay for shade. Cabanas were 200$, a single umbrella and two padded lounge chairs were 75$. All the others had to lie in the sun at 105 degree Fahrenheit. I think this is absolutely horrendous. They offer a wide range of activities but to be honest I am disappointed..

First time staying here and probably will again. Maybe. I know it's an older hotel/casino, but they could keep it up a bit better. The elevators are a tad bit scary and seem unclean. The room was decent, small and needed to be deep cleaned and maybe some new calking in the bath and paint would be a good thing. A friend of mine had a little AC flooding issue and they did offer to move him to a different room and fixed the problem. The buffet is awful! I will not be going there again. Ever. I didn't get to see the Fantasy show, but the blue Man group wasn't bad. Valet parking is not free here. $16 a day. $10 to self park I think.

First time staying at this hotel and it was really nice. This was a girls trip and the price we thought was decent, we originally booked two Pryamid Queen bed rooms but when we got there they did not have adjoining rooms so we upgraded for an extra $20 a night. The rooms were nice but forgot to take pics. We enjoyed the gambling tables, we won and lost of course but this was one of the hotels that we were either able to walk away with money or break even, all the other places we went we lost lol.
Unfortunately we did not get to see any of the shows at the hotel but heard that the Blue Man Group was awesome. We ate brunch/dinner at the buffet and it was okay, there wasn't very many options for it to be the price we paid.
The fitness room was good and a good size to get your workout in. The hotel was clean and we had a blast. I would suggest to get the parking added to your room because you can park at their affiliated hotels at no additional cost.

Rooms are questionably clean (the restroom) the service is a 1 star, but it is one of the cheapest hotels on the strip. So I stayed anyway.

I stayed here last year with my mom. It was a good experience. This year, she purchased a room through groupon under my account. I got really sick and couldn't make the trip. I called and changed it to my moms name and when she arrived they said they didn't receive that info. Not one person there tried to help or retrieve that info. The guy I spoke to was rude and very short with me. I just wanted to help my mother get situated. The whole situation was frustrating and the employee was no help. I wish it would have went differently.

I'm partial to the Luxor since it's a cool concept. The ebony pyramid serves as the hotel, with the rooms lining the interior walls of the structure. The Egyptian motif runs throughout and the noise was actually less in Luxor than other hotels. I can carry on a normal conversation. Casino is cleverly on the lower level and the tram can take you to Mandalay Bay or up to Excalibur. Recommend.

The room was nice. The bathroom had a huge tub and stand in shower. The beds were beyond comfortable! The breakfast at the buffet was amazing! The dinner could use a little bit more work. We also went to see one of the shows at this location called Fantasy and had an amazing time! There was a problem with the cable during our stay but they were able to compensate us quickly with a food or drink credit. Overall I would definitely come back for our future stay in Vegas.

I liked our room at the Pyramid it was clean and super fresh smelling including bathroom. Also the pool was relaxing and enjoyed it. Other than one star for the slots. I played four different different Dragon Links spent about $200 on each betting $5 a pull. Maybe got like 3 free game play bonus other than that hard to believe about 2 fire coin bonuses out of those $800 or 1k . Not fun or entertaining at all. I tried two different Megabucks lost $50 on one and Won $30 on the other one betting Max bet at $3 a pull. Did not have yime to hit the tables. Spent like and hour total gambling $1k in and out -$1k.

Room was spacious and was nice to stay in. It's an older hotel so please understand it's not going to be perfect with everything. No dance floor, no problem! Enjoyed the hotel bar after a walk around the Strip. The bar played good music and hey, dancing in your chair is a great alternative. Adapting to the changes at it's finest. Stay safe in Vegas everyone. Cheers!

Part of our party stayed here and I'd have to say the Mandalay Bay room was better appointed. However, this rating is for the Blue Man show in the Luxor. Great show and full of action and humor. The tram running between the Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Excalibur hotels gives a great selection of activities without leaving the properties.

We had a great time, right off the bat the staff was super nice, it was my daughter s first time in Vegas and she wanted to have a nice view of the strip, so I asked if we could get something close, and we were front and center! She loved it! The service was second to none and the buffet restaurant is beautiful, well stocked, and wonderfully staffed. The chocolate cake was delicious as was most of the food, it was much better than the franchise joints upstairs. I have many complaints about the franchise restaurants there, but that s for another post.

A bit run down and over priced. You are charged resort fees even if you don't use any more than the room. They say you get vouchers, but you really don't.
There is no way to keep or warm leftovers. You are kinda forced to dine out.
All the staff we came across were pleasant.
You have the ability to walk through malls to the connecting resorts (Mandalay Bay and Excaliber) or use the tram.
Overall not a horrible experience but may rethink staying there in the future.

The Luxor Hotel & Casino is a very beautiful resort to stay at if you're into Egyptian history. I personally recommend staying at the Towers instead of the pyramid if you are chostiphobic. I came during the COVID-19 so I wasn't able to enjoy any shows in the hotel or any big entertainment. So, the amount of time I was here I was at the Casino or eating. A few restaurants are open upstairs and I highly recommend the Mexican restaurant next to the burger bar. I've eaten their three times only because my bartender Jose was super friendly and the food was great. Otherwise, In my room I got bummed out that they're isn't any microwaves or a fridge. Room service takes quite a while too.

Standards man does not approve of the Luxor Hotel,...

Standards man does not approve of the Luxor Hotel, for a multitude of reasons first off I have to pay $10 a parking to go play video games which none of that any money that I spend goes towards me getting $1, 000 and getting the next level tier of their players card, and then I get to park for free. But what the people at the counter do is they actually push for me to get a military human being to fill out the card so that they get park for free. That's pretty disrespectful that you would even suggest that. so with my $100 a month that I spend on parking you would think that that would cover someone cleaning up outside or emptying a trash can, but no however they do have three bubble cameras watching their fancy-schmancy money machines to take your $10. Most of the front desk sofas don't have their USBS working Chargers.

Loved the Titanic and Bodies Exhibit but then best part was the Blue Man Group. The hotel is a little dated as well as the parking structure but the food court has a nice variety to choose from. The attractions are in nice proximity to each other since the layout is pretty much a wide open square with a lifted center.

Main negative is check in. Lines are excruciating long line no matter what time of the day you arrive. We were told we could self check in at a kiosk, but it wasn't working, and irregardless of that, it's not available after 10:00 p.m. We have stayed in the Tower rooms only, which we have found comfortable and updated. Considering the price, this is a nice option on the end of the Vegas Strip as long as you're not accustomed to a high level of service .

Horrible from arrival to departure!!!!

Horrible from arrival to departure!!!!
Service was just BAD!!!
Stay here was all right. The rooms kind of smelled musty and were definitely dated. For as much money you know as the casino is probably making they can definitely use some of that money to upgrade the rooms and stay competitive with the other hotels. It is on the strip so it's close to all the other fancy hotels as well, so if you're looking for a cheaper place to stay on the strip it's pretty good. But don't expect to be super comfortable in your room for a while, but it's Vegas...so your not really on there for too long anyway!
