Eh. Its like more of a convienence store. Half of it was non groceries. Ok i guess. I bought socks for the homeless man outside with no socks or shoes
I haven't been to a Lucky Supermarket in years, mainly due to the lack of service ( they have 20 registers but only one is open). This particular store had few opened cash registers and the clerk was very polite and professional.
Nice big store very clean and not many people due to pandemic.

Have a lot of what I need but I feel like Safeway has more, even though Lucky is more convenient.
Newly renovated store, well stocked but I miss the days of cheap prices that Lucky (when it was Albertson's) used to have. Unfortunately it is no longer one of my regular stops.
Excellent prices on bevrages. Always cheaper then Safeway.
Looks great after the remodel even though I can't find half the things I was able to find previously due to the layout. Staff is always great and have been there for as many years as I've lived in the neighborhood (8+).

Always a wonderful atmosphere and great people. I've never truly had a bad experience within that store, Also its nice to see friendly faces I've seen my entire life being a native of san leandro.
Organized and clean. I usually find the advertised products available. Not as upscaled as Safeway . But it is well lighted which I preferred. Low lighting may CATCH YOU OFFGARD.
Always a friendly staff and a Queen store. Could do better on stocking the shelves or monitoring how much people by obviously there's hoarding going on. Not that they should be the grocery police.
Excellent service in deli dept. Was completely ignored in bakery dept. But I asked to be helped and a gentleman finally assisted me. Girl looked irritated.

I just had a bad experience and maybe because it was in the late evening... very rude staff and unprofessional. I rate two stars because have a lot of quality food. Prices are average but the customer service receives 1 star.
Speaking frankly, this Lucky's store is depressing. It's not very clean, the lighting is horrible and the fresh vegetables aren't very fresh. I'm going drive the extra mile + to shop at Safeway in Castro Valley.
They have generally been good except for a new employee treated me with disrespect regarding the mask I had on. She seemed to think because I am white she was black therefore, she could treat me with disrespect.

There are few options at this location for vegans outside of the produce section. That's disappointing. I have to travel to downtown San Leandro Safeway, or trek to Whole Foods or Sprouts to get what I need.

One of my favorite places to grocery shop in SL. Plenty of parking space, large selection of items and a competitive price compared with the two Safeways in town.

Bought a Suja (organic and probiotic juice) and it expired 3 days ago- no way I'm drinking that. Bought a salad from the deli and asked if it has nuts, was told it didn't. Took a bite when I got home and it had walnuts. I'm allergic (not deathly) but it could have been dangerous. Really disappointed
A little pricey for my budget but it's a nice and clean store and everything on the shelf usual is labeled which is awesome.
Friendly staff, very helpful every time I'm there. Manager is always on the floor helping out, he really looks like he cares about the place. It's my go to place to shop and everything from produce to meat is quite exceptional. I highly recommend this store over the one down the street on Hesperian blvd, it's worth the 15 minute extra drive.
