I m 100% positive my belly ring is crooked and he poked my tongue before actually piercing it $106 I won t forget. Efficient service though

I was impressed when i walked in the door, i was impressed with the reviews, i was even impressed with the price point .I was already thinking about my next visit. In the end , i feel like my tattoo didn't come out as pristine and crisp as it could have. It felt rushed and ultimately you get what you pay for...
I don't care what anybody says... $100+ hourly rate tattoo for a 45 minute sub-par job is just outrageous!

Did the family day. Rev Bob was our artist and he was the bomb! It was my hubby's 1st time, yes a virgin at 51and he handled it like a pro. If planning anything elaborate I do recommend you go, watch some of the artists, then make an appointment with them. This is 1 busy tattoo parlor and the sign up sheet and wait can be very lengthy. Course that means you know you are at the place to be...see you there soon!

Got an amazing tattoo by Sara Bell a few months back. She got the detail perfectly and was able to complete in only 45 mins! Looks awesome, thanks Sara~

Charlotte was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I got 3 piercings done by Charlotte and am in love with them. She was professional and kind. I didnt get the name of the young woman who helped me at the body piercing counter but she was very sweet and explained things very well. The whole shop is extremely clean and they clean up right after you leave. I wont be going anywhere else for my piercings

Everyone is super friendly and their work is phenomenal and for the price u cant beat it there is always about 15 artists in the building and it's never a long wait and if u want the same artist u can request them my wife's work is awesome it speaks for itself period...

The best and only place I go to for piercings. Been coming here since I was 16..lets just say I'm over 25 and still coming for my piercings.

I have been going to lucky 13 since I was 18 years old! Jason (J-Sin) is the best body piercer I know! But honestly all the staff there does an amazing job. But all of my piercings have been done by J-Sin and he always does an awesome job. He's so good that I haven't let another person pierce me since the day I met him. He is very honest, experienced, and a very genuine person. I highly recommend you go see him for all your piercing needs!

Jsin and Ian have done all my body piercings and always have done a wonderful job

I may have had a few issues with my piercings but when I am able to get downtown from cumberland, Ian is always willing to help! everyone knows prices are great too!

This place is awesome...they have a great atmosphere and some awesome artists. All my tattoos come from Abel. I would suggest this place any day for a great tattoo. You can find them on West broad street in richmond.

I got my ears pierced with Iain, and it was super easy! Probably took 3 minutes for both ears, and I had my lobes done. I have a pretty severe needle-phobia, but he was understanding and made it quick and low-stress. Also, all their earrings are hypoallergenic, which is great for people who have bad reactions to certain types of metals!

Best ink in richmond, they have good flash specials and great artists.

I had gotten my nipnops pierced a couple of years ago and Iain (?) the piercer dude was fantastic. He was really patient with me and made the process (which was terrifying to me, because I had a phobia of piercings when I was younger lol) quick and easy. 10/10 because he was extremely clean and professional.

I came back to lucky 13, because I liked the atmosphere and how chill the piercers were. I initially went to see if I could get industrial piercings, but was examined by Iain, who said I couldn't due to the shape of my ear :( HOWEVER I went for another type of piercing that I wanted, which was daith. (Got both ears pierced!)

Again, Iain AND Charlotte were excellent and professional; their workstations were very clean and sterile. Iain was very careful and was really good about keeping his station and equipment clean. (And also cleaned the barbells I had bought and offered to put them in for me. :)

I felt a little uneasy after the first daith and Iain let me take a minute to drink some water (free water bottle, bless you guys) and tried to keep me as comfortable as possible during everything. Honestly speaking, they're really, really, really awesome both as people and professional piercers.

I can not recommend Lucky 13 for piercings enough, honestly?? Please tip your Lucky 13 piercers, because they totally, totally deserve it.

Other Pros:

-had a nice and large selection of jewelry for the piercings they offer
-both piercers give great advice and suggestions for piercings
-sells handmade cleaning solutions for your piercings (and i think tattoos but i haven't gotten any so...)
-nice bathroom very clean, very pretty

Wow! Just went for a nose piercing, and it was such a great experience. From the customer service to the actual piercing. Flawless. You don't find that a lot at tattoo shops. Definitely going back!

I came here for my third tattoo. The staff is all super friendly. They got me in and out within 3 hours as a walk-in. I m in LOVE with my tattoo and the work Travis does. Out of the 3 artists I ve been too he s by FAR my favorite. 10/10 would go back again

Have had all my tattoos and piercings done here and today I had my nose pierced by Charlotte. She was AWESOME. Super nice, polite, and got me in and out in under 10 minutes. Customer service was stellar tonight. Would recommend lucky to anyone looking to get a piercing.

Tattoo shops in Richmond are a dime a dozen now days. This shop is top notch. Everyone is polite and pleasant. If you are getting a big piece definitely make a appointment.

Very clean studio, super friendly staff. Went in to get my nose pierced and my daughters ears pierced. They were quick and we only waited five minutes.

My Favorite Shop!!! Lucky 13 is clean, staff are friendly and competent. Each customer is made to feel special. This is the only place I go to for tattoos and piercings.

The woman behind the front counter is very rude. The guy with dreadlocks has a nasty attitude as well. This is not a customer service focused business. I waited for an hour to talk to an artist, then he disappeared for an hour to "work on the design". He came back and had something very different from what we discussed. I made some suggestions for changes and he got an attitude, disappeared for literally 2 minutes and came back with some cheap changes and a bit of visible frustration. At this point I had been here for hours. I am not sorry for being picky about something that will be on my body until I die. Overall poor customer service and a very negative environment. I believe most of the positive ratings on here are for piercings.

I just had my first piercing done today at lucky 13. Belly button, very excited. When I walked in the door, the first guy I saw directed me exactly where I needed to go and when I got back to the piercing area, I was again greeted right away. The guy Jason who did my piercing was very friendly, proffessional, and polite. He joked around with me a little leading up to, and during, my piercing which helped keep me relaxed. He helped me up, gave me my cleaning instructions, and thanked me for coming in. I am overall very impressed by my experience today. I would go back just for the service I recieved. And then, of course, the price is great too.

I was recommended to this shop by a restaurant employee who had similar piercings that I wanted to get. I always had gone to River City for all my piercings but I heard great things about Lucky 13 and the prices were so much better. I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! This shop is awesome. I have gotten an industrial piercing, a snug piercing, and a septum piercing. Charlotte did my industrial. Very very quick and I have had no issues with it healing. Iain did my snug and septum and both have healed wonderfully. The septum literally did not hurt at all! I recently got my first tattoo from Angel on 4-11-2016. I had wanted it for over year and came with my own printout in folder of what I wanted. He customized it to fit my body and skin. We had to make a few adjustments for longevity which I was glad he advised me on. Not going to lie, it was a tattoo, it hurt, but Angel had music going and made me feel super comfortable the entire time. It came out exactly how I dreamed it would! The staff has always been very kind and helpful with questions. The only negative thing I could say about this shop is it always SOOO busy! But that is just a sign of a great shop so not a negative thing really. Just try and plan to go during the day and not during spring break or Friday or Saturday nights cause the place is packed! You guys rock!

Charlotte is an absolute pro. I was extremely nervous about getting my nipples pierced and she made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely go back to her for any other piercings!!

I went in the shop to get my frenulum pierced and I've never had a better experience! Charlotte was my piercer and it took a total of 5 minutes from the door until I was done! She was very nice and all of the people are so welcoming, and they are very reasonably priced. I recommend anyone who's getting a piercing to get it here!

I highly recommend this shop, especially if it is your first tattoo/piercing. I got my first tattoo here a few years ago from Sara Bell, recently had another one done by Ed, and have gotten a few piercings here as well. The shop is extremely clean and the staff is really talented, professional, and friendly. My latest tattoo was a walk-in and only had to wait for less than an hour. Highly, highly recommend!

Best experience I feel after getting my nipple piercing it was fast and painless seriously painless and I'm not one to take a lot of pain you wouldn't have time to cry or yell because it's done before you can lol. I'm happy with my results I love the way they look and the artist was professional.

I've gotten five piercings done at Lucky 13 and they have all turned out great. There's a warm, welcoming environment and a friendly staff. Plus, you can't beat their price ($20 a hole, for piercings at the belly button and above).

This place actually had some promise! I've been looking for the right tattoo shop, and considering going here. You definitely have to have an appointment, and apparently you still have to wait.. will post again if I end up going there to finally get my next tattoo.

I just stood in line for an hour after driving two hours here. Then was not let in due to my child being with me. I checked the website for any restrictions due to the virus. Y'all might want to update that. And put a sign. I just needed a dermal taken out that got caught and she would have sat in the corner watching the phone and not said a word.

They were quick, painless, and easy to get done. They got right into it and I would recommend you going. I've gotten my nose pierced last February and went and got my tongue pierced yesterday and love them.

went in there today to get my nostril pierced. first impression that the place was very inviting from the outside, which was not the case from the majority of the other tattoo parlors I saw on Broad St. When I went inside, it was incredibly clean and well lit- very reassuring. I got to the piercing side and I was greeted by Nigel, who also did my piercing. He was absolutely wonderful and explained everything that I needed to fill out and so on. He double checked my allergies just to make sure also. The needles were all individually packed, so obviously very clean and one-time-use only. He put the dot on my nose and asked me if it was a good placement and was very flexible when I asked to move it forward a little. He was quick and precise with the actual piercing and it barely hurt. And all for only $20 :). great experience, would 100% go back there if I ever need anything else done.

OMG got a my ears pierced twice in both sides and loved it they did an awesome job he joked around with us and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to get a pericing Ian did mine and he did an awesome job difinetly going back there for more.

I got my eyebrow pierced here and the dude that did it for me gave my eyelid a blue and purple bruse that lasted a week. It looked like i had a black eye for the entire week. I went back when it wasn't getting any better and he said "o yeah its going to bruse but you signed the paperwork so that must have ment that you agreed to the possibility that you might get a bruse. You cant take us to court because i have your signiture in my file cabnet." Plus, i feel as though they charge too much for a piercing. For an eye brow piercing its $20!! I feel like it should be $15. But that's just me.

Love all the different artists. Tattoos are awesome but a lil pricey
