Went there with my girlfriend and we both got tattoos and both of them came out very well

Got my nostril pierced for the 3rd time by their body piercer, Charlotte. She did an amazing job! It literally was painless!?! Normally, your eyes water immediately but they never did this time?!? I highly recommend her for your next piercing. She definitely knows what she is doing!! Thanks, Charlotte!!

Fair pricing on piercings. Went with wife to get her piercings done and they are very professional and informative. Will likely be going here for tattoos next as well.

Walked in and was instructed by a very nice lady to proceed to the back room for my daith piercing..ear piercing. Very clean atmosphere, piercer nice. Quick procedure.

Got my nose pierced here on a whim. They had me in and out within 10 minutes and were so kind to me! I'll definitely go back for any more piercings in the future.

I came into Lucky 13 to get my belly button pierced. I went back to the piercing shop and Charlotte was there to greet me. Charlotte was very professional but was still able to make jokes and relax me. I was very nervous and she went at my pace and she let me know everything she was going to do. My piercing was painless and came out exactly how I wanted it. I highly recommend Charlotte for any piercing needs.

Jsin is the best !! He made me feel very comfortable with my daith piercing . I will go to him again for my next piecing !

I've been to this location twice now! Once to get my septum pierces and the other to get my nipples pierced. First walking in, it had a very good vibe and the piercer was extremely friendly, comforting, and informative throughout the process. He did a great job getting a good spot on my septum and he did it very quickly! He also did a great job on my nipple piercings, they were very even, and done quickly! (Didnt even bleed, and I think that shows how well he did!) I plan to go for a tattoo and more piercings in the future I'm sure!

It was my first time I was actually impressed. Everything was explained to me in great detail.... I'm very satisfied with the work that I received... Will be back!

Fast! I walked in, Iain gave me paperwork to complete, walked me to the station, cleaned the area with alcohol and gloved hands and then boom. He was done. Paid and walked out feeling cute. Would recommend.

I had two back pieces done by Abele & I couldn't be happier. The pricing was great, the facility is always clean, & the staff are great and friendly. If you ever need a tattoo in RVA this is the place to go! 10/10

Only tattoo shop you should be coming to in Richmond! Love these guys, great staff and the music was awesome. I've been to a lot of tattoo shops and it's always heavy metal. These guys played every genre which was cool to me because I was a music major in college.

I've had my lip done here and they were so friendly! I've had it in for a year now and it's never once bothered me! I'm going back sometime soon to get my tounge piercing and my second lip one (spider bites) the metal neve bothered me and seemed to be just fine, I very much so like it and will go back for more!

I waited two hours to be seen while the crew was eating pizza. I came before 3 other walk ins and had to wait and was seen AFTER them. When I finally got out back I could tell the dude didn t really want to do it, but liked the positioning and the alternative design he made from a picture I brought that I wanted. It s been a month and there s already blowout on some leaves on one of the flowers is almost non existent. He charged me the shop minimum and I tipped him as much as I did for the tattoo.
The woman at the desk told me I would regret my original design I brought in and I trusted their word.
I wanted a memory of Virginia forever since I have lots of family and friends/history there, but this tattoo shop was not worth the wait or the cost. I am getting it covered up this month.
My hopes were high for them as the person I was with said his friends had good luck there.
Even if you don t want to do a tattoo- then turn me away, don t cost me more money and embarrassment.

Charlotte is awesome. My piercing came out when i was washing my face. I went there and she was able to quickly put another one in. Will only go to her for all my future piercings. She s very professional, polite and made me feel very comfortable.

Ive had piercings done here in the past but I just recently went in to have my nose pierced and I was in and out in less than 10 mins. Clean and friendly environemnt. The piercers are awesome !!! I

Beware... All the times I've been there to get a piercing I've got the same feeling that the staff were just trying to get everyone there in and out asap. They use cheap metals for the initial piercing which is unfortunate, they don't even ask if you would like to pay for a different metal that aids in the healing process (like at Rick's Tattoo!) I've gotten my nose, daith, and both nipples done by Jsin/Ian. To which are constantly irritated & red and getting crusty. I'm no stranger when it comes to constantly cleaning my piercings. So I figured it has to be a cheap metal (they also gave me a SUPER short bar for my nipples which made everything so uncomfortable). I give one star only because it was $20... for each piercing...

I've gotten all of my tattoos and piercings here. The guys are usually cool and honest!

Quick, clean, easy, no BS. May look a bit sketchy from the outside, don't let it fool you. Immortalizing the family matriarch, relatively easy design but Angel nailed it.

I got my first tattoo from here and trust me same as the design I came with.

I have had 2 tattoos and my wife had 1 at Lucky 13. Everything went OK until the last tattoo. The artist that did the tat has been out of the shop for months and I waited 8 months for my touch up. So i call them and explain the situation and the girl on the phone says no problem just come in and someone will touch it up. I go in there and the fat blonde at the counter says no way, that the original artist has to do it. I told her I had contacted him and he is refusing to return. She refused me service and I had to pay another shop $150.00 to touch it up. Her and 13 suck. Stay away.

I went with my older sibling to get some piercings, I got my septum pierced and they had the labret done and we were done in less than 10 minutes. The process was quick and pretty much painless. There was a very large selection of jewelery and the atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. Planning on getting my bridge pierced there soon!!

I only got my right ear and finally got my nose pierced. I give the 5stars because of how effciant the shop was being ran to handle the volume of people getting tatts or piercings and a little lady named Mickey.

Each time I have gotten a piercing from Lucky 13 I have had to deal with painful bumps and keloids. It seemed clean and staff was quick but it could be the type of jewelry they use for the piercings. If you want a place that's quick, easy, and cheap go here. But make sure you know what type of quality earring you're receiving.

I went here on my birthday to get a tattoo I had been wanting for years. The day before my birthday I stopped by and talked to Travis Wasko who assured me he could execute what I wanted. I showed him a picture on my cell phone. He told me to come back at 1 the following day. I came in at 1 very excited and ended up waiting about an hour (this should have been my first sign). Let me say Travis was pleasant however he seemed more interested in trying to free hand the tattoo as oppose to drawing it and marking it on me first(mistake #2). The tattoo is on my thigh and rather large so it s not something I can watch him do as he goes I had to lay down. I feel as though Travis decided what he thought would look good and did that as oppose to what I requested and showed him in the picture. I basically paid $360 plus 2 atm fees ( I knew this was overpriced but was expecting quality so I didn t care) for a tattoo with only 2 colors that looks like a 5th grader drew it. Travis pressed so hard as well that the pain during and healing after was crazy (I have many other tattoos). I went back to the shop the next day to complain no Travis and the day after that no Travis. After speaking with the manager and Travis I ended up going back in the shop about 6 weeks later and Travis did attempt to fix the tattoo. I went thru another painful healing process. It looks better then in did originally however the quality is still poor and it is not what I wanted. I am now in the process of finding a tattoo artist willing to help me plan and figure out how to how to cover up such a large tattoo. I was very disappointed in to quality of the tattoo; it doesn t look like a professional tattoo artist did it. I have spent the summer trying to hide this tattoo and wanted to write this post to let people know DO NOT LET Travis Wasko tattoo you. Also I am from out of state and this is my first tattoo in Richmond I went to this shop because I heard they had good artists for me it s not about the money I paid and will have to pay to correct it s about the quality. They may have talented artists but Travis Wasko isn t one of them. I wouldn t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I've had five tattoos done at Lucky 13 and I love love them all. Lantz does beautiful realistic work. Abel absolutely killed my Frozen tattoo and I'm already planning my next Disney tattoo from him.

I just got my belly pierced about an hour ago and they did a fantastic job! Everyone's very friendly and funny which helped with my nerves. It doesnt hurt AT ALL I'm so happy I decided to go here rather than River City, it's much much more affordable. Always be sure to tip guys! These employees deserve it!

The artists at L13 are very talented, especially Sara. The pierces are knowledgeable and make you feel relaxed. Great experience!

After the worst day of our lives so far, my sister in law and niece asked if I wanted to go tattoos. I'd been thinking of getting a particular one for years, so I jumped at the chance. Despite just walking in, the staff a Lucky 13 were able to fit us in with minimal wait. I got the phenomenally talented Angel, who worked with me to find the right font for my literary tattoo. He also introduced me to an awesome reggae version of Whiter Shade of Pale. My tattoo looks amazing and the whole experience was great. And the artists who worked on my sister in law and niece were equally fantastic. We all really enjoyed the atmosphere and easy banter of the staff and it helped us feel a whole lot less sad than we were when we walked in the door. I will definitely go back for all my tattoos in the future (they also do piercings and cosmetic tattoos).

Mikey did my daughters nose piercing and she was great!!! I definitely recommend them for piercings.

Went in about a week ago for nipple piercings. I was pierced by Charlotte, who was an absolute gem. She was very busy and there were three people ahead of me but i was still in and out in maybe 20 minutes. The environment looked clean and she was very professional. I did spend a few minutes talking to her about what i wanted and getting her opinion on orientation (horizontal or diagonal). She seemed more comfortable piercing them horizontally so thats what we went with, but i think it was just her personal opinion. She told me she wasnt going to use a clamp because she thought it was unnecessary pain which was fine with me, as i know many piercers ditch the clamps for the nips. However, before i knew it she was already piecing them. She didn't mark them so i could check the position, and one of them came out very slightly crooked -- as to be expected if they arent going to be marked beforehand but still not cool. I'm still very happy with the job she did considering that the cost for two nipple piercings including the standard jewelry was $40. I called around to 7 piercing parlors in RVA and that was the cheapest by a long shot. Sure, it bugs me a bit that one is a bit crooked but I'd do it all over again. I wouldnt go to enigma down the street and pay $130 for possibly slightly better work. Charlotte did a fine job and got a fat, well-deserved $20 tip. Definitely would recommend!

You can get any piercings for 20 bucks. The girl who did mine and my friends was super friendly, offered to help replace in a couple months, gave excellent after care instructions. She was very knowledgeable. There were some rude guests! Also the back area is pretty small which lead to the rude guests. Not sure about the tattoos but they seemed reasonably priced.

Never had a problem with getting a tattoo, and the experience has always been great, but I think the other evening that I went with my daughter could have gone a little better, her tattooist let her how much hers was going to cost her up front, mine did not .I had to ask him ,and the price that he quoted was a little absurd for the size of my tattoo, but didn't quite know how to handle the situation. Live and learn .

I come here for all of my piercings, and I highly recommend everyone come here & let Jsin do yours (he's off on Sundays)! I have some sensitive areas pierced and Jsin is very good, very careful, & very quick! I'm always a bit nervous about pain, but not once have I felt more than the initial pinch with him!

Typical tattoo people that aren't warm and fuzzy (that might actually scare me) but can't get enough of the $20 piercings! Fast, clean, and perfect!

So far I've just gotten my ear lobes pierced and a medium-sized tattoo on my shoulder here, but anytime I come whether it's for myself or for a friend, the atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable and most importantly, the employees all know what they're doing and so their jobs well.

Highly recommend for piercings, the piercers are quick, professional, & sanitary. & When it comes to tattoos, Chris does insanely clean line work. Only bad experience I've had so far is with the dude with the dreads, I got my arm done & all he did most of the time was complain about doing the tattoo because it was a lot of solid black work & wasn't fun for him to do, & I had to initiate conversation throughout the tattoo to pass by the time but he just had an attitude. The tattoo came out okay, few rough spots that aren't too clean. Next time I'll just try to avoid him doing my work, but other than that Lucky 13 is highly recommend.

The piercer was very quick and it only hurt around 3 on a pain scale (I got snake bites). The piercings are very symmetrical. The pain hit when I got in the car but that s all piercings. It was only $43 for two lip piercings. The staff were very nice. 10/10 would recommend going, at least for lip piercings.

This was a very neat professional space with many artists. Our design was well received and they did a good job making the print.

Staff were friendly and all instructions were given my friend being a first timer in tattooing. The procedure was pretty fast and Tye overall experience was good.

They do have the piercings too. Will want to take a look at that one day soon.

Friendliest piercers ever! Charlotte has pierced both me and my daughter, and I've been pierced by Jsin a few times. We love these guys, and they've been affectionately dubbed our "impulse stop." There's a $3 surcharge to pay with credit, so take cash, ...and PLEASE tip your piercer!
