I went to lucky 13 tattoo yesterday from northern virginia to get my nipples pierced this is my first piercing besides my ears that was done wen I was a child. My piercer was more intrested in his coversations with his coworkers other than answering my questions about the piercing. Although it was quick and cheap I wish my customer experience was alot better because I was so concerned being as though those were my nipples! Nice shop though clean environment.
I've seen reviews about how the staff here was rude, but I was greeted with nothing but kindness and warmth from the second I walked in the door. The only negative part of my experience getting a piercing here is that, after greeting me, the piercer stood with his back to me (I think he was on his phone) for like 2 and a half minutes before getting started on my piercing. Other than that tiny detail, the staff was so sweet and everything went well! And for 20 bucks? Can't complain haha
On December 15th I got my nose pierced, they were all friendly and the service was quick. I stopped in again to get my lip piercing unstuck and buy a retainer and the gentleman who helped me was super kind and helpful!

Ok I got my tattoo yesterday, amazing work by Abel. But I had a question about my tattoo so I call just a minute ago and the gentleman on the phone was very rude and treated me like I was stupid, he was not nice at all. I would love to tell y'all what his name was but I didn't want to stay on the phone any longer then I had to.
Piercings are priced good. Second piercing I have got here and I have been extremely happy each time.
This place sucks. I had some guy (forgot his name) who was supposed to have been doing tattoo's for 30 years. Mine finished and healed and look like 5h!t. I have to not only get it touched up, but color added cause the guy was a complete moron. I will be sure to post before and after pictures. Dont be fool, this shop is a bunch of poor pathetic, sorry excuse for tattoo artist. I've seen better work on with a 2 years olds lick and stick

I went in for a nose piercing, and it was amazing. Its a super clean environment, and the employees really know what they re talking about. I got pierced by Mikey, she was super calm which made my anxiety calm down. The piercing was super quick, and surprisingly super super painless... 10/10 would recommend for being pierced for the first time
I have been to lucky thirteen a few times, but this particular time is what drove me to giving this review. Overall, i think lucky thirteen has some great artists, but there is one you need to stay away from. Travis Wasko at lucky thirteen should not be allowed near your skin with a tattoo machine in his hand. I brought my mother here on her birthday to get two small tattoos. travis did them and was pleasant to be around. we did the whole runthrough with explaining the idea, drawing it up, and once the stencils were on we checked it, loved it, and gave the go ahead. it wasn't until afterwards and several days later we would come to regret this. at closer look, he did not follow the original stencil we had planned. He took a little "artistic freedom" which resulted in some very apparent mistakes in a geometric design that required attention to detail. but thats not the worst. days later, craters started appearing in her new tattoos. we had noticed directly after tattooing, that her skin looked very raw and torn, but figured it was normal and just very irritated. but we came to find travis had pressed the needles in far too deep, causing bleeding of the ink and the tattooed areas to became a crater in her skin, visibly lower than the surrounding untouched skin. and despite meticulous cleaning and care, it has developed a lovely infection in said crater. we trusted travis to give my mother beautiful tattoos, and instead he left her with a painful weeping wound. Thanks travis, only wished we had realized sooner and had not given you 200x what these tattoos were worth.
I love lucky 13 because I been coming here for a while and the environment is good and the tattoo is great the staff have a good since of humor and funny.

Lucky 13 is the place to go I'f you're looking for skill, chillness and vibe. I've never been to the piercing side but see everyone walking out super excited about their piercing. Tattoos side however is where I spend my time. GREAT artists, extremely clean and professional and a nice experience everytime. I know they are HeLLa busy so plan ahead and be patient. Totally recommend Lucky 13 to discuss your ink and get your projects done.

Do not come here. I had my nose pierced a week ago and really regret it. The piercer, a woman who could not have been but a few years older than me, was incredibly rude and hasty. Prior to actually stabbing my nose, I did not witness any sort of thorough sanitization or cleansing of the needles or hands. She briefly wiped at my nose with an alcohol soaked cotton swab then swiftly went to piercing my nose without gloves. I wish I would've said something while this was happening, but I was truthfully too nervous about the needle about to puncture my skin. The environment was not at all comforting and did not leave me feeling as though I was in the hands of a professional. Now, seven days later, there is a rash surrounding my piercing that I believe developed from either the uncleanliness of the business, the cheap jewelry they put into my freshly wounded nose, or the signature piercing and tattoo "aftercare" lotion they sell. I am so displeased with the way this establishment is ran and would never recommend a soul to come here.
Just got dang near a full sleeve by Angel. All freehand brush-stroke style. The guy is a true artist. Very creative. Ill be back to him for sure. I recommend this place to anyone. Especially if want something unique.
When I finally decide to complete my tattoo this is definitely the place I will be going!

I've been back twice and had both my sides done by Ethan he did an amazing job now I'm ready to start my back and Lucky 13 will be making my story come to life can't wait...... Fast and nice. One of the best piercings I got. Only hurt a little after getting done and I was pmsing soo way more sensitive. Cant feel a thing now unless I snag

Charlotte was amazing! I got my tragus and cartilage on both sides pierced. She did it so fast, and they all look great! I highly recommend Lucky 13 and Charlotte for piercings. I've also gotten a tattoo there by Abel, who was also great. Overall, a great atmosphere and group of people. There is a front desk girl who is rude and has attitude... She was short with me on the phone when I asked questions and in person she was unpleasant as well. If I didn't already know this shop as a nice place, she would have deterred my patronage. But its a great parlor.

Absolutely love this shop. I ve gottwn 1 tattoo and two piercings here. I just recently got my Septum done by Jason and he was amazing. I had a little aftershock and he made sure I had everything I needed and made sure I was okay before I left, the piercing itself was painless and I love it. If I get anymore piercings I will be going here.

AMAZING customer service! I got my nose pierced a couple weeks ago and it fell out from my doing and when I went back and explained what happened Ian had to repeirce it, without complaint. He went above and beyond for me and I really liked the service there I ve gotten nose and belly button done there and had nothing but a good time.
Bought retainers for my cheek piercings. When I got home I compared them to the rest of my jewelry and the retainers that were sold to me for "cheek piercings" were way too big. I went back the next day to see if they had any other size retainers and explained that the ones that were given to me looked way too big. The guy that does the piercings stated that "those are the only size retainers we have and all jewelry sales are final" which is very understandable, but what I don't understand is why did he sell me something that he knew would not fit for a cheek piercing, I mean he pierced my cheeks for me so I think he should know what fits and what doesn't. What made it worst is that he did not apologize so that made me feel like he just wanted my money nor does he care about the customers. Worst experience of my life.
Just got my daith pierced at Lucky 13 and had a fabulous experience. The woman that behind the counter that helped us was extremely personable and helpful! She was amazing! Iain did my piercing and he was very calm and it barely hurt. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you guys for a great first time piercing experience!!

He is very informative with how to care for piercings and every hole he has poke looks amazing. This is my go to place for everything!
Jason is the bomb!!! Got my daith pierced for headaches it was done so quickly. He's cool to talk to. I'd say his vibe is pretty "warm and fuzzy". I highly recommend him!
