I got my belly pierced here and they were quick and stuff but now 2 months later I had to go to the doctor and they told me the piercer hit a blood vessel and my belly is now swelled up and is spreading all through out my stomach. Painful and don t have the money to keep going back to the doctors. Around my belly button there s 3 bumps that are hard as a rock, and it s just getting worse. Can t say much to the piercer because I signed the paper saying If anything happens they aren t responsible. Won t go back there again though.

I went to get a cartilage piercing on a busy Saturday and was in and out in probably 10 minutes. The piercer was very professional and it didn't hurt at all. Definitely worth the price and trip to Richmond.

The guy name Q was rude the whole time until I handed him the money. My tattoo wasn t even done well.

One of the better shops I've been to and well worth the drive from Northern Virginia to Richmond to work with great artists. Clean, spacious, organized and overall a good group of people.

Been there multiple times for piercings but last visit I got a quote for a tattoo that was ridiculous. $225 for a tattoo that could easily be done in less than 30 minutes. Definitely 5 stars on the piercings but negative 5 stars on the tattoos

Super nice super quick and super friendly. My cousin from out of town and I got our bellybutton pierced, she got her nipples, and nose as well, and I'll be going back to get my daith pierced.

A little bit of a wait but for good reason. All the artists here are very skilled making them one of the top 5 shops in the Richmond area. Very detailed from start to finish and make sure you feel welcome all along the way. Our artist Angel was great as he did work on both my brother and I that came out absolutely amazing. A lot of people are picky when getting artwork done outside their hometown but this place is a must visit if you are looking to get work done.

No issue with the artist but the guy who has the denim vest woth the shops logo and with the slicked back hair shaved on the sides. I m assuming he s the owner.. I just encountered him in va beach and he was very rude and stand offish. Would expect more from an owner when somebody is trying to ask if you own the shop n what steps to take to get there.

Got my septum pierced today, they were very clean, professional, and fast. It took less than 10 minutes between walking in and out.

Had to wait a while...but worth it V gave me good advice on placement and did a great job. Wasn't my first time and definitely won't be my last.

I went to get my tongue pierced and the next day I woke up with so much pain and white stuff on my tongue I waited two days to see if that was normal but by the third day I was in so much pain and I had what look like a bad infection all over my mouth I knew this wasent from me because I cleaned it as instructed I went to the doctors and they had to remove it cause of the infection and they said that the tongue ring they put in my mouth had fungus on it I am now on medicine for 15 days the people there are very nice but I guess sloppy won't be going back .

Got my tongue pierced the weekend after my birthday. I was a walk in and was out of there in no time. Going back hopefully this weekend to do more piercings on my ears and a few tattoos. Great place with great people!

This has to be one of the best places to go for a tattoo and or piercing. I went there for one piercing and a small tattoo. I left there with two piercings at 20$ a piece! And a decent sized tattoo . The tattoo artist I had Abel was amazing! He made my day, chatted with me, and great quality work as well . The piercer I had was also amazing. Quick, efficient, and very friendly. I am beyond excited to go back for more . Go check them out

I didnt actually get a tattoo but I took a friend to get one. Everyone was super friendly and the artwork was awesome. I'm actually going for my birthday after seeing my friends and ill be getting my first tattoo

The work is cool, over priceed... The piercers ara little too rough, and a lot too arrogant .

If you're gonna get a piercing Charlotte is amazing! Super sweet made it super comfortable and she was very fast and professional. Made these piercings totally worth it!

Friendly, helpful, smiling faces from the front desk right on through the building. My inside wrist tattoo was a breeze. I expected more pain than it was. It is exactly what I invisioned. I couldn't be happier. I have about 3 more at least for him to do. Chris is fantastic.

I got my first tattoo here done by Big Jaz! He was really attentive, funny, and made me feel comfortable! The shop was very clean and had a chill fun vibe! I definitely wanna go back for more :) and I would absolutely reccommend to my friends!

Abel. I refuse to go anywhere else. They have other great tattoo artists, but I'm set on Abel. I've given him a few ideas on what I want to do and it's working out way better than what I had thought of. I'll post a picture when my sleeve is finished but right now I only have 1/2 finished. Edit: so obviously I've finished up as seen on the attached photos. I'm in love. It's the perfect amount of detail with that much black. Turned out better than I had even planned! Again, his name is Abel, I definitely recommend him.

Went in for a VCH piercing and was petrified but Iain was very reassuring and put me at ease. Very professional, clean and the process was super fast. I was in and out in 15 minutes and I m in love with my new piercing. Thanks Iain.

So I have had my back dermals for 5 years now, I've never had a problem. Nigel did an amazing job! In fact I have sent many people to him and never had a complaint! Recently I went rafting and my dermal jewel broke from hitting my back on a rock. Iain fixed me right up and he was very easy going but still professional and made me feel very comfortable! Lucky13 is the place to go! Thanks guys for your amazing services :)

As always my experience was amazing! The shop is ultra clean, the artists are always cool and listen to what you are looking for when getting your tattoo!!!! I have and will keep recommending Lucky 13 to friends and family.

When you go ask for able, worked within my budget, and great conversation while tattooing. Overall he s just a really chill dude.

After hearing about their $20 piercings, I thought I would give this place a try. I regretted my decision after how rudely and unprofessional I was assisted. The woman working behind the desk was watching shows on her laptop as I was trying to ask her questions about different piercings. She was inattentive and blatantly disrespectful after having an attitude answering a question. The man who did my piercing seemed to be careless and didn't show me where I was going to be pierced. I have been to 4 other places to be pierced and every single last of them showed me where the hole would be at. I will never go back to Lucky 13, I'd rather pay a little more for better customer service.

Update: Have been back since the first visit and planning more appts. Chris is my new go to! Amazing job.

Open bright shop in a convenient location. Very busy at opening time, but were still able to get tattoos as walk in's. Jerry did nice work, good conversation. Rev. Bob is awesome and did an amazing job on my husband. Receptionist is friendly and helpful. We will be going back for more soon!

They did me and my sister tongue rings we wanna get our nose done how much????

I got a spider bite piercing and it was really quick and painless. The piercing barely bled and the piercer was very nice and helpful with follow up care instruction. I will be going back soon to get my hardware switched out. All in all a good experience.

I just got my industrial done by Mikey, they calmed me down and helped me choose which ear would be better for it, and got me in and out within 20 minutes! I was super scared to get it done, they let me have my mom inside, answered all of my questions and were really patient with me. It hurt pretty bad, but it was over and done with quick. I'm definitely coming back for any other piercings I want!

Went to lucky 13 it was suppose to be my first time there. Absolutely terrible experience I wasn t even able to walk out with a tattoo. It was Friday the 13th so I understood they were busy and patiently waited in line for FIVE hours. FIVE HOURS AND NO TATTOO. I wanted a moon that had stars around it and when I asked for no stars I felt judged by the artist when he said You don t want any stars!??? I said no thanks he put the stencil on my chest and when I looked in the mirror I came back around and asked for it to be bigger. He said okay $50 I said $50!!!!! The point of waiting in line for five hours for a $20 tattoo IS $20! Why would someone want to spend over double the price for a small modification!!??? Had he told me it would be an up charge of $5 or $10 I would have been like okay I understand because I m modifying your work on a busy day. I can t believe I was turned away because I wanted to make a small modification for more than double what I would have had to pay even after waiting all day in line for you. I would give 0 stars if I could I m honestly so upset.

Always have the best experiences here. Everyone is super friendly and outgoing. The overall environment is super welcoming and comforting. Expect a little longer wait times on weekends, which is normal for a shop that does both walk ins and appointments. I have gotten tattooed multiple times at Lucky 13 and every single time everyone has showed patience and make sure I'm happy with what I get and comfortable the entire time. Ethan Pease is my favorite artist there and he always does an amazing job.

i gave it 5stars for the piercer Charlotte so friendly,so loving, great personality, she greets you with a smile she is so patient and generous I'm thankful to always go there and she makes my day my daughters love her and everyone I recommend to her says she is an amazing person she is a keeper
As for the tattoo artists they are not friendly I will not name names they have nasty attitudes and extremely pricey and the front end no one answers the phone if it wasn't for Charlotte being there I'll never go there and that was my go to place for tattoos now I go elsewhere

So a few years ago I went and got an arm tattoo i had an awesome experience there great work with a clean station. Yesterday I went again but this time for a tounge piercing and it was a bit of a wait due to the amount of people ahead of me but once I was called I was done in less then 2 mins. I love this place the atmosphere the people that work there it s all amazing! This is the place to go for your piercings and tattoos!

I've have had two of my seven tattoos done here and they came out good. You may have to wait for about 30 mins for an artist to call you to the back but everything goes quickly after that. I love that there is always someone available to do tats or piercings unlike other places!

I will never go back! If u have invested n ur tattoo's then this isn't the shop 4 u. Its a meet & greet 4 college kids, getting pierced, but no one seems invested n there artistry. Quick to get u to 4get ur own idea & pick a print from a gallery. Then not even embellish the stencil to give it life. No enthusiasm, no bedside manner, & I'm not reviewing 1, I'm the fool who went twice. They all seem burnt out!! If u read this, take ur time & find another shop! They r no cheaper than anywhere else. My last tattoo I ended up at another shop to make since out of BS! Why do u think most reviews are 4 piercings & this side of the shop is worth it!Attention GM, please use this as a tool & share with ur staff!

I've gotten quite a few tattoos and piercings here. I highly recommend it!!

I came to get a nostril piercing and the service here was good and my piercing was easy and painless but they did not seem to care at all about what I wanted. I asked if I could have a certain size and style and they told me no and that i had to get a certain one. I requested a small diamond and they insisted i had to get a silver ball. Now i have a piercing in my nose that I don t even like. And they did not give me any detail on what kind of metal it is which is concerning to me since I have sensitive skin. They had me in and out so fast it was like my business wasn t their top priority and that they didn t care about what I wanted at all. Now I have to find another place who can switch my piercing to what I actually asked for.

This place used to be really good but it s just turn out to be bad with their customer service. Like, I get that you get asked, is this hurt , how much is it , like you know General common questions that people asks! I get that they sometime y all get annoy when people ask them that but isn t that PART of YOUR GUYS JOBS to have to answer those questions and have the customer feel good and feel comfortable with what they doing/getting. Everyone is busy I understand that but this is your job now, when you work at a place like this you must have patience more than the customers. LUCKY13 is overrated! The tattoos artist is just like every others shop. They USED TO BE GOOD but since they got their shop famous that s when theirs egos come out! Their employees ... how do I say this... hm like, if you go to their shop when they in a good mood then wow lucky you! BRAVO! But when you pick the wrong day to go when they moody then that s it you get this bad vibe sarcastic talk to you. But I m not saying that s all of them are like that but one bad apple spoils the bunch...

I went there to get a new tragus earring. I got one, turned my ear green! It was not made of or the quality the lady told me it was.

I always come here for my piercings. Standard piercings are just $20 and they do an incredible job! I've gotten my lip, nostril, septum, eyebrow, tragus, and tongue all done here and it's all been a great experience! Charlotte is wonderful and I would definitely recommend her! I always feel so welcome and comfortable at Lucky 13. If and when I get another piercing, No doubt I'll be coming right back here!

Very rude and got a creepy vibe as soon as we walked. They didnt seem to care very much
