Good people that treat you fair never have to wait long and you can tell they actually care because they constantly check your blood Dracula couldn't take as much blood from me as they do.

Friendly efficient staff members who are very caring. When I walk in I feel safe and know that I will be taken care of. The doctors don't rush you and actually care how your body functions in an individual level and how it reacts to side effects of medication effecting your daily life. They really seem to want to get to know ya which is a first for me. They are also great with setting up arrangements for test and medication changes. There have been a couple workers who have had less patience or seemed to busy to be bothered but they are students learning hope they grow out of that.

Debbie at the front desk is probably the least helpful person..every single time I call in she is unable to help me and I am sent to a voicemail or i am told to call back.
Why on October 5th am I first told about a message from my doctor from September 15th? Ridiculous.

Says lunch is at 12pm get there by 1130am and they're closed hmmm smh. That's not right. Wasted my time just to get eye glasses readjusted.

Very disorganized, extremely slow. I've called and left messages about prescriptions on more than one occasion where I never received a call back, and never received my prescription refill. Had to go 3 weeks without medication until someone finally resolved the issue.

Wonderfull place with great staff! Lab department is the worst, nasty workers, always with an attitude and slow as hell. It has always been that way since they opened. Never has changed if u don't like your job go somewhere else. No stars!

How can the office be closed when the hours on Google say you are open at 8:00

This place sucks my son went there this summer and now when I try to make an appointment they said scens he has not Been their scent may they said he is no longer a patient so they refuse to see ham I told them he is and a lot of pain and they don't care I don't know of any other place to take him that does not charge burst he does not have medical and Works at Donato's

I've always had a good experience here. Dr. Karen Barnhard is my doctor. I don't have to come in very often, but it's a nice office. I used to come here when I didn't have insurance and my mother did too.. Was nice to only have a sliding scale fee.. Now that I have insurance I still come here.. even though I could be seen anywhere and closer to home. I'm happy with the treatment i've got here. :) - Anna

Today i experienced a Horrible service... I had an apointment at 9:30 i get there to find out they made my appointment at 5th ave and they couldn't not see me at the broad location. They said there was a confusion... people are extremely rude as well, most of all this bilingual girl hispanic.. that works there checking people in.. I was talking with someone else and she just got in our conversation and ended up arguing with me. And got an attitude .
That to me is unprofessional.
I do not recommend this place at all. !

The best one stop (LLCHC) medical center. See your doctor, visit with a pharmacist, pick up meds, see an eye doctor, and/or visit a friendly dentist. There no place in Columbus where all of your health needs are met. The staff at Lower Lights Christian Health Center are caring, courteous, friendly and professional. They listen to YOU! It's all on the COTA bus line.

Also, located inside of LLCHC is Jubilee's Market. A very good place to eat and buy groceries.

Their website advertises walk ins, but fails to mention that those walk ins are only for existing patients and according to openings in the days schedule. But trying to call and make an appointment is an absolute nightmare. Don t believe their false advertising

This place is terrible. Which is sad seeing this has been the family doctor for maybe more than 10 years. We waited for over 2 hours i think it was dr. Hawthorne who delt with us. And she was extremely rude. She kept interupting and getting a major attitude. Seriously and this place is falling apart. Also its not just today that has been a pain. They told us that they left a voice mail which they NEVER did, even though they have all our contact information, and on top of that, the last time i came here, they lost mu friggin blood test results in the system. And then they seriously asked me if i had the blood drawn here. And i said "im pretty sure that about a week ago i got my blood drawn here. I dont forget where someone sticks me with a needle." So unless you absolutely have to come here...just dont.

They should really take Christian out of their name because they are so not! I called to set up an appointment for my husband and was told I could not afford to pay their prices. WTH? She had no clue. Just because I did not have insurance did not mean I couldn't pay.

I enjoy Lower Lights they are very congenial and fussy but that's to be expected. A misunderstanding was made but miscommunication can be understood. I am glad I am associated with this medical firm. Kudos to all of the staff.

This place is so Awesome I have been a patient here for 3 yrs don't want to go any where else. The staff and doctors are great there's new management. The manager is nice he's working so hard to change things to make lower lights nursing center better.

My Doctor, Dr. Dolph is amazing, my couselor Susan Kennedy is wonderful, and all the staff in the pharmacy are so nice and fast. I really appreciate all their hard work

They are excellent! The pharmacy is right there too.

While the service in the facility in the location I went to has been amazing, the triage nursing staff to get my medication has been an absolute nightmare in the worst ways. I STILL don't have my prescription.

I have recently been to LLCHC twice with my daughter and her one year old son. She is a single working mother who pays almost 500 dollars a month to carry Oscar insurance on herself and her son. Her co-pay at Lower Lights is $50 each visit and then a portion of the vaccines that the insurance does not cover- I am saying all this to say- for this cost especially- I am definitely not returning. The staff was not friendly- certainly not Christ like in their interactions and the patient check-in person was down right rude.
I am sincerely disappointed as I was hoping for a place to feel loved and cared for for my grandson and be supportive of a community based nonprofit like this- my daughter and I had done two training sessions about 3 years ago with Pastor Jan- that is why we picked this provider out of all the others listed on her insurance plan.

It's gone down hill I cant even get my medicine its unorganized I got a text to make sure I was going to make it to my may 28 appointment just to get there and find out I had to reschedule my appointment and I got a text the day before my appointment to make sure I would be there I'im done.

Rude staff, triage department loses paperwork constantly. Poor communication between staff. Wont answer phone. Underpaid nurses and staff. Very impersonal and uncaring doctors. I chose the health department over them.

Do yourself a favor and FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. Seriously, this place is a freaking scam. THREE TIMES, I have called to have a prescription refilled only to learn that my "doctor is no longer with the practice" and I'll have to "schedule an appointment with the new doctor" to get my prescription refilled. AKA - I have to PAY FOR AN APPOINTMENT to walk into an office for someone that I will likely never see again say, "So you need a refill? (Yes) I see on your chart that you've been taking it now for 2 years. (Yep) Has anything changed? (Nope) Okay great, I'll get that in for you. Anything else you're concerned about? (Literally no). Have a great day - that'll be $150."

I was never informed or alerted that ANY of my doctors were leaving the practice and rather than assign me to a doctor with some tenure in the practice, they assign me to the newb.

This place is a joke. With turnover clearly an issue, you're better off going elsewhere.

So I have had one bad experience with a doctor in all the years i have been going there , it's been over a year since i have been back ........ let me just say , so much has changed ! (In a good way ) . New staff ( like completely ) and they are awesome. So many services now offered at my location that now I dont have to go all over for medication to help with my drug recovery, I can go there and they all Communicate together.
I'm a really happy Patient/client!

I like the fact that they go by your income including pharmacy and the Doctors are great.

Sarah Chantell and Arianna are literally awesome!!! I never leave the office without a smile or laughing. They both make sure we get the medical attention my family and I need. My son absolutely adores everyone in the office. They treat us like a family. I look forward to our appointments, which is a first for me. Dr. Chung is also amazing. I can yell scream and cuss and she listens attentively to what I have to say, and waits until my fit is over to give me her suggestions and opinions. She is so sweet and kind. I love all of them in the office as do my boyfriend and son! Thank you Lower Lights North Star for everything you do for us!!!!

I call for a prescription never get refill till I go down and get it they get a fax they lose it if another place needs a fax it can a 2week notice they still don't receive it the girls in back never answer the phones the just sits there and let's it ring she can only do one thing at a time love Dr Dana and Dr Hartman but the staff are rude all but one short little lady that sits next to the red haired lady and checks people in she's a sweetheart.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. So called doctors show up to work smelling like alcohol and then have the nerve to offer a "prayer" at the end of the so called service they provide. There's nothing Christian about this place at all! Don't bother wasting your time over there!!!

I m so upset about the outcome of my experience at Lower Lights. When I first went there, it was great. Then I kept getting rescheduled to see my MAT counselor. Then I kept getting rescheduled to get my medication, having to be sick in between visits with a full time job, a newborn baby and other children. Then my mental health counselor put me on meds that were making me worse instead of better and I got rescheduled to see her when I told them I needed her first available appointment. Long story short- I got my first sublocade shot and when it was time for me to get that my doctor rescheduled me after I d already been out of my meds for two weeks. They wanted me to push off starting my new job to come in a week later. Finally we worked out to where I got it administered at another location by a different doctor. Then game time to get my second shot and I was rescheduled a handful of times. I passed out at work from withdraw on a Friday, they got me scheduled for that coming Monday and when I left work early, in the car on my way to my appointment, I got a call that the doctor needed to reschedule once again. I explained that I was already two weeks past the timeframe to get my shot due to being rescheduled and the woman I spoke with, Karen, got an extremely rude attitude and told me I wasn t showing up for counseling. I told her that they have rescheduled me each time and I was supposed to finally see my MAT counselor while I was in there getting my shot. She told me that when she spoke to me the Friday prior that she didn t schedule me to see my MAT counselor and that I could still come in for that. I told her I need my shot because I m extremely sick. She told me I still had two weeks until I was due for my shot. I told her I would be going somewhere more stable for my treatment and somewhere reliable for my counseling. This was last week. Now, twenty minutes ago while leaving work I d received a phone call from the pharmacy who delivers my shot to the facility for doctor administration and I told the woman that I d already ordered my second shot several weeks ago and it s been at Lower Lights waiting on me but they kept rescheduling me so now I m being seen elsewhere and to please cancel the order. She explained to me that she was trying to order my THIRD shot that is due next week, and was in shock that I had yet to still receive my second one. - These people are supposed to be Christian but have been rude and are very disorganized on top of that. Three months ago when my newborn son spent a month in the NICU at the hospital, they acted like it was inconvenient for them to reschedule me the ONE TIME I asked for it, which I had only requested to come in the next day from my scheduled appointment due to my newborn being extremely ill and the doctor needing to speak with me. I ve been off of drugs and seeking sobriety for two months short of a year. I ve been doing amazing but since I started at lower lights my mental health has deteriorated due to lack of counseling and proper mental health and drug treatment/medications and I ve expressed that I feel as if my sobriety is at risk. When I told Karen I feel like my sobriety is at risk due to all of this she snickered and told me to not be dramatic and to let her do her job and reschedule me. I told her her job is to keep already scheduled appointments, and if something came up to where it needed changed once In a while that s fine, but my job is to focus on my sobriety, not their scheduling mishaps. They do not care about anything other than if you have the money to cover your meds, and they prescribe meds for EVERYTHING instead of trying to help someone cope logically through behaviors and thought process. If you re serious about needing/wanting help, I would highly recommend that you do not place your life, sobriety and future in the hands of these people.

Lower lights is for low class citizens. That's how I felt there. Very dirty and rude staff. Pill pushers. Never would I go there again.

I was very disappointed about this place. They said my husband makes too money and seeing someone like OB( I'm pregnant) starts $109 for 15 minutes!!!!! Who comes up with prices like that! I have no insurance and we can't afford one seriously I don't see how they are helping family in need. I don't see as a Christian how they are helping a brother or sister in need.

I agree with the last rating set for. The facility is extremely disorganized and unhelpful to the extent, that they don't even create the proper diagnosis so that other people who are assisting the doctors in creating appointments can do their job properly. They don't provide what's needed, they don't tell you what kind of appointment you'll need next, and they don't help staff understand or become knowledgeable of any of the Dynamics of their jobs, so they're under train and under staff at the same time. This place needs four good leaders who are knowledgeable in their job as doctors and nurses to come and help fully train the staff and get all the mess together so this clinic can be more organized and helpful to patients and staff.

The doctors are unprofession. Once waited 30 minutes for a doctor who wasn't even in the building yet because she wanted yo sleep in. Cancelled and rescheduled to wait 2 hours for another doctor at a different appointment. Pay 160.00 and she never called in the prescription so I had to call back. You can't speak to anyone directly at any location, it's just a general number and you talk to people who know nothing about healthcare. You leave a message and it takes over a week for someone to return a phone call and tell you that the doctor won't help you. Urgent care is cheaper. Don't go here.

The facility is extremely unorganized and unhelpful. I made an appointment for today with one of their staff members. She told me that my appointment was at 10:10 Turns out my appointment was at 10:40. She took A lot of my information on the phone and did not inform me to come in 30mins early so when I got there 15 minutes ahead i had to fill out papers while she deciphered through my insurance, my appointment was canceled AS I WAS SITTING IN THE OFFICE. She then made me an appointment with another site and told me it was for today when it turns out is it it is in fact for tomorrow. I wasted the majority of my day today driving around between their two locations because the same faculty member who was unable to properly communicate and schedule me an appointment.

This place is such a beacon of hope. It is so wonderful that there is a place that provides so many services under 1 roof. Especially psychologist, substance abuse counseling, access to psychiatrist, as well as wonderful compassionate doctors. Care for children through adults. The facilities are nice too.
This place should serve as a model for how health care is provided. It would help keep people more healthy and out of the ER.

This organization is trying to grow so fast (ie, make money) that its staff can t even return phone calls to established patients. Headquarters makes excuses. You can t ever reach a human being on the phone. Don t use this organization for your healthcare: they will let you down!

I ve been a regular patient at LLCHC and pharmacy going on 4 years now. I absolutely love Dr. Burnfield and all of the Pharmacists. I am always met with individualized care and prompt, organized service whether it be with picking up a prescription or visiting my doctor. Lower Lights Christian Health Center has helped me get my type 1 diabetes to a well controlled state and educated me on living a healthy lifestyle. It feels good to have honest and reliable medical services in my neighborhood. Having to visit the doctor quite regularly with T1D, I can honestly recommend LLCHC to anyone looking for fantastic medical care!

I went in sick left sick with bed bugs.

Have a feeling they know about it because the lobby had changed where the second waiting area was removed and they sent me back to the main waiting area. Noticed there were no chairs in the halls either. I don't understand how you can knowingly treat clients like that.

this place is a bottom feeder... what a sad waist of time..the staff is the worst, save yourself time and aggravation and go somewhere worth going.

I have waited for an hour for my doctor and turned out that she won't be in the office for a whole day. At least the clinic should call me to reschedule the night before appointment... I will switch to another clinic after this unpleasant experience.

10 yrs is a long time to be in a great, caring facility. Thru the yrs, I've had smiles apologies for extended wait time. LLCHC is not a scam!

Lower lights helped me in my time of need. The doctors are professional, caring and; first and foremost are good doctors. I went for yearly physical, vision check up and dental cleanings; with lower lights I got peace of mind about my health. Thank you Lower lights for supporting me.

Tried to get my fiancee in to see these guys for a dentist because we were referred there from a sliding scale clinic because we have no current income. Because we had no income, they told us there was no way they would see us. After looking on the website, they said that even if you can't pay them that they would help you regardless. In a pricing breakdown it said there was a 20 dollar minimum dental fee. We were never told this on the phone given the option if coming up with the money, just "if you don't have some form of income we can't help you." We called again the next day and talking to the receptionist, I gave her his name and information, and then she said they weren't taking any new patients in that clinic. Didn't tell me before looking him up, were we put in the system for a note of "can't pay, don't schedule"? Then I asked about the other departments because he needs more than a dentist; they said no one was accepting any patients. They gave no resources and 0 help. He's in excruciating pain from not being able to pay full cost for so long, and they didn't seem to care. I'm pretty sure I read in the Bible that Jesus doesn't like it when people turn the needy away because of money. I can't call the centers directly, but surely one of these buildings are accepting patients. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I love lowerlights however I got to the one In Marysville and my daughter even goes there and I love how they offer a variety of services from addiction therapy to a psychiatrist and even pediatric services!

Quite possibly one of the worst family practice facilities I have been to. The staff does not know how to explain the processes to the patients. Reaching them via phone is a nightmare. Their fax machine is never working properly, so bad that I couldn t even trust them to receive other faxes and had to drive around Columbus to get myself a copy. Overall I was dissatisfied with the service I received here and I will not be returning.

Balinda and Luawna at the lower lights clinic are simply amazing ! They helped my brother and I navigate the complicated process of choosing a health insurance provider. They were professional and very caring about us, and made us feel very much like friends. I would recommend this team and lower lights to anybody who is unsure about health insurance and how to provide it for themselves and their families. We received the right plan for us and have ensured good health with physicals/consult and full panel blood tests covered by our new plan given to us by lower lights. Thank you so very much!

I love my doctor he really take s the time to care about me and so does the nurses there I love them to I suffer from bad anxiety and when I come here it tends to get worse but this place cares about how you feel they make me feel right at home the talk me through it and make me feel better about myself they really care about their patient s thanks Dr Moyer and aboni you guys are the best

Dr. Howthorn is useless old woman with discriminatory tendencies and a huge chip on her sholders. placed me in the room and went to see other patients. After 30 minutes and when she thought it was "my turn" ignored everything I told her and adressed none of my concerns. Like I said, she discriminated against me because she fill like it or because my life doesn't matter to HER.

I think the co-pay situation is ridiculous by having you pay as you arrive because what if you don't really have the money to pay for your visit, you wouldn't be able to see your doctor. I do understand that they have been screwed from other patients but it always suck for their decent patients, especially for those who are struggling to make ends meet.

Wonderful staff, always kind and polite. They helped me in my time of need and financial difficulties. They also never shove religion down your throat or try to convert you even though they are a Christian based organization. I ALWAYS recommend them.

This doctors office is terrible my wife goes there for her pregnancy , they pee test her and take blood every visit and did not inform her that she had a UTI , shes been having bleeding and they did not tell her she had a subchorionic hemorrhage on her placenta that could hurt the baby, had to find out all this information weeks later by going to the ER after letting the doctors at lower lights know that there was a problem when she was just 4 weeks and they kept saying its normal , currently 13 weeks and they still have not done anything , they were suppose to call 2 weeks ago to make us an appointment for an ultrasound to look at the hemorrhage and keep calling and leaving messages that they wont return , cant change doctor since we already have a doctor so we have to deal with these lazy doctors that dont care , if i could give it no stars i would ,

Dr. Westra was my primary physician. Very professional, polite, and caring staff. Anyone who says otherwise probably has problems wherever they go.

Lower Lights is a great place with a great staff. Everyone is always helpful and friendly. I absolutely love Karen Barnhart ! I have several medical problems and in the past have been hospitalized several times a year. My appointment tomorrow will be my 1 year anniversary at Lower Lights. For the first time in many years, I have not spent even one day in the hospital this past year. I have never in my life had a provider who takes as good of care of me as Karen has. She take time to listen and sincerely cares about my health. I am so thankful that she is my health care provider. I can not say enough good things about her. I would highly recommend Lower Lights Health Center, and I would Highly recommend seeing Karen. She simply is the Best. Also, John and the pharmacy there is terrific too. First time here and spent 2hrs waiting now still waiting to get my sons shots and then got to go ovsr to the blood work done very slow slow place

Amazing place to go for great health care and services..I've been going to Lower lights for over 5 y rears and I just love the warmth and compassion from the reception area to seeing my doctor Karen Barnhart, which by the way is my angel she goes beyond her profession to take care of me and yup I love her!!! lets not forget the pharmacy which is amazing as well keep up the great work ....

They are horrible unorganized bad at getting back to you only help you when its convient for them you can never speak to a super visor directly and they don't care about their patients they should be shut down

Hello everyone, I can tell you that there are many good things in this place, especially if you are attended by a Latina but be careful if you are attended by a brunette, the receptionist this week told me that you cannot come to the laboratory to leave a sample of blood from some studies that are urgent and I call the clinic and they tell me come from 8 to 5 and she says I can't pass you then I don't know what her problem is because she works there if she has a certain problem with Latinos then now that she is still last time either I go to an appointment already scheduled and all that Hera check my pregnancy as well as this test

I would have given the place a 5-star if only they would answer my phone calls... *update* their phone system has gotten way better. their doctors are on point with me. Love everyone they throw at me. The new doc I have, I don't ever wanna lose, she's sweet as can be and you can tell she cares for her patients.

I visited their location on East 5th Ave, and to say I felt disrespected by staff is a complete understatement. To top it off, I scheduled an appointment for a concern that, despite my mentioning numerous times both before and during my exam, almost went completely unchecked before my appointment was over. Looks like I'm going to have to find a different location to have my health taken seriously.
