Attended the KINT congress 2018, which was given near the Louwman & Parqui car museum. Nice location, nice museum, only very warm room. And there is an almost invisible difference in height in the floor in the hall, which many people have stumbled over today. Catering was well taken care of.

Service is getting worse. Previously at dealer was maintenance incl. MOT, but since acquisition by Louwman pay 29.95 extra for this. Recently also a ridiculously high price difference of 272.00 for winter tires incl. Rims. Obviously purchased elsewhere. A recall regarding the airbag has also been open for a number of years, but that problem has still not been resolved and there is always a different excuse. Hopefully there will be no accidents, because without an airbag it can sometimes prove fatal. Maybe looking for another garage. Next car will probably no longer be a Toyota. And now it is again difficult to schedule an appointment, which was previously possible directly at the location. But that must now be done through central customer service, which their customers do not know. I have had enough of that so-called "service". During my previous visit to the dealer in question, I already indicated that I did not want to contact a call center, but apparently Louwman had a crush on the wishes of their customers.

We have bought a Toyota Yaris hybrid, the navigation system is hopelessly outdated. It seems that an update is available once a year, which is far too little. Why no TomTom navigation! Now I have one that costs $ 800 that is hopelessly outdated.
I wanted this car and it has such a flawed navigation. That voice is also irritating and cannot change it. I feel cheated in this regard. We can expect something better from Toyota !!!!!!

Last year I had the third new water pump installed...

Last year I had the third new water pump installed in my Toyota Verso (year of construction 2009) at Toyota in Oud-Beijerland (has now moved to Rotterdam-Zuid). The second pump has been replaced in a Toyota Garage in Spain. I tried to get support from Toyota Netherlands to raise the issue of the replaced third defective pump, however the location manager Mr. Lankhaar does not listen, I had to arrange that myself. He indicated that the pump was already 13 months old. The third defective pump that was replaced in Oud-beijerland is in the car from March 30, 2018, and has run 36,000 km. I had this pump replaced at a universal garage. They have determined that the Multi drive belt has been too tight and this has been the cause of the malfunction. I have submitted this story to Toyota Rotterdam-Zuid. I was told there that there is only a 12-month warranty on a pump, and that I should have had the pump replaced by them, I might have gotten a leniency arrangement. I drew the attention of the Toyota representative to this directive: 1999/44 / EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 25 May 1999 on certain aspects of the sale of and guarantees for consumer goods.
He had never heard of this, and stuck to his 12-month position. When asked if it is normal for a pump to fail at a mileage of 36,000 km, I got the following answer: it should not happen. For the reason that I have already experienced this twice, I started looking for a universal garage. I offered the rep that I can make the pump available for research, but he didn't want to. The approach is 12 months, and for the rest you just have to figure it out (read: then all costs are borne by the customer)
If compensation is given for the costs incurred. I will of course make the defective pump available, and the report of the observation of the garage, which delivered and installed the new pump.

For a leniency arrangement of the third pump I entered into talks with Mr. F. Bos van Louwman & Parqui B.V. in Raamsdonkveer. The attitude, disposition and rigidity match that of the underlying dealers. So this is imposed by the importer.
12 months and for the rest you just figure it out.

A Toyota avensis, at the rear when the valve is opened from the roof / bevel angle, let go of the paint, according to Toyota Netherlands, this is not a known problem, now have three Toyota avensis cars seen with the same problem. Slide-off system from Toyota Netherlands. And a car from 2013 has the same problem, think that the sprayer who sprays the cars does not look so closely or can not spray. Maybe Toyota Netherlands will take action on this

Vandaag de Toyota Experience 2019 bezocht. Wat goed georganiseerd! Heerlijk 2x proefgereden in de Corolla TS Hybrid. Museum bezocht en genoten van lekkernijen.
Als laatste nog ff een rondje meegereden in een 4x4!
Prachtig weer, top locatie en geweldige medewerkers. Hartelijk dank voor deze mooie middag.
