Located within walking distance of many attractions and less than a minutes walk from a train station. Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff.
They saved our honeymoon to Paris. Thru a travel agent, we booked in a terrible place, the citidines maine, which we only lasted 3 hours there before leaving and booking a room here. Very clean, comfortable place. If your traveling to a nice city like Paris spend a little extra on a more reputable place.
Amazing Hotel! Beautiful lobby, small but clean and nicely renovated rooms, the heated marble floors and marble shower in the bathroom were the best part. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful.
I organized 2 study days (without overnight stays) with room, lunch and coffee breaks. The hotel is beautiful after the big jobs that took place there are qqs years. Great room but you could hear the noise and work outside the awkward blow but I guess it was temporary. Buffet lunch very good and appreciated and by med collaborators. But I would not do it because it's way too expensive. But a hotel to visit if only to admire the place and history!
The concierge staff were rude and made check in bad. They did not have the right room for me when I arrived. The hotel smells and is old. You can find plenty of hotels that are much more accommodating and clean in Paris.
Very nice hotel in the grand old fashion of hotels. Large spacious downstairs. Helpful and polite staff.
Nice hotel. Nice bar can be useful for a business or galley appointment. Central location Gare St Lazare, Gare du Nord, opera house and several transports.
The bar is at the height of the place but it is really very pompous
Incredible location, exceptional staff, amazing accommodation.
Excellent location in the centre of Paris and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The reception team in particular provided a great welcome and after a stressful journey their friendly welcome was very much appreciated and ensured we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend staying and look forward to visiting again.
Very Nice environment and Nice entertainment from music school pupils.
I HAVE FEELED SCAMMED. ROOMS VERY SMALL FOR WHAT YOU PAY. OLD HOTEL and WITHOUT ARRANGEMENT (YOU HAVE TO ASK, AND NOT EVEN WITH THAT).
- I believe that they have given us two rooms of a lower category than the one contracted, a bathroom plug that neither works nor can be fixed, DELUXE category rooms without a wardrobe, few amenities for the hotel category, very impersonal no matter how beautiful the reception, with employees who don't care about your protests or how you feel (keep asking and protesting until you have to leave, should be their motto). As soon as you arrive, they charge your credit card of about 150-200 euros for each night of your stay.
- The day we arrive (a Friday at 10 pm) they give us two rooms: 270 and 561.
- After seeing the two rooms that were assigned to us, I go down to reception to indicate that these are not the rooms that I had hired, that they were two DELUXE rooms, not a simple room without a closet (with a simple bar in sight with hangers and without doors) and that you can only move around the bed.
- At reception they tell me that the rooms are the contracted ones and that, in any case, they could not change me because they did not have any more spacious room of that category. That they were full for the whole weekend. Ask him the next day to see if there was any possibility.
- The next day, I go down to reception in the morning and they tell me the same thing: that they are full for the whole weekend, that they gave me the room that corresponded to me and that, at most, they could give me a room with one square meter more, that since the hotel is old, not all the rooms have the same spaciousness
- As soon as they arrived, they wanted to charge us 1,000 euros on the credit card; I protested and managed to lower it to 600 euros.
- amenities: neither toothbrush nor razor nor comb
- the safe, after looking for it, I did not find it; When I was taking the clothes out of the suitcase to put them in one of the three drawers, the safe appears hidden in a drawer, and limiting the place to store things and making it totally useless
- the hairdryer does not work in the bathroom. I go down to reception to indicate it, and they tell me that since they are an old and historical building, they are not allowed to fix it. I hallucinate by colors, and I have to dry my hair in the room, not in the bathroom, and thus I have one less outlet in the room to charge electronic elements at night (phones, cameras, tablets, computer, ...)
- As much as in the room they put a piece of paper that if we are not satisfied let us tell them (like the one in the attached photo), they do not pay attention to you.
WE WILL NOT RETURN, NOR DO WE ADVISE IT.
okay. might need some fresh paint and fresh everything else...
Absolute appaling service from this hotel. Booked a reservation about a month ago to stay here next week, I was told over the phone my booking was cancelled due to an invalid credit card (I booked on a debit card). For that reason, I booked a new reservation at a different hotel. Yesterday, I had money taken from my account from the Hilton (where I am not staying as I was told I didn't have a booking) and now they are refusing to refund my money as it was booked on a non-refundable policy. Disgraceful how they are getting away with this, will be taking this further as I am being robbed of my money for a hotel I am not even going to be staying at.
Le pain Quotidien is one of the best restaurant thanks the hosting for Hilton and thanx for the great food Lpq! Attila Hungary
Awesome place and nice facade. We really enjoyed our stay here!
Close to all the sights to see and conveniently located next to St Lazare train station
Loved the le pain quotidian restaurant attached - served some really nice healthy fare which we really enjoyed
Great hotel it's true that it has changed a lot compared to before in some things but it is still to my liking
I am staying here now. The hotel won't allow outside food at all in the hotel. We don't want to be out in and amongst all of covid people. So we were trying to have our own dinner in the lobby. We were told we couldn't do that. We had to go to our room. Rediculous.
Beautiful scenery, comfortable lounges, very good service
Have a coffee at the hotel bar.
Very cozy place and perfect for a small meeting
Super hotel very well located. A team with little care. We feel that there is a good atmosphere in the staff.
Great bar but too often inaccessible to guests outside the hotel
Very pleasant setting, original cocktails, impeccable service.
Absolutely fantastic hotel with superb staff and excellent location. Relatively easy access to all the sights of Paris. Constant flow of taxis to take you anywhere. The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. All the staff were pleasant and welcoming especially the bellmen. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend anyone else to stay here as well.
Nice place to have a glass of wine. We were lucky to have an acoustic singer and it was great.
Very nice building, nice rooms but woke up a little sore. Waited 2 hours for our luggage after 2 phone calls. Check in was a little long.
Been here 3 days and have a beautiful room but someone please help with the breakfast scenario! No plates, no cutlery, drink dispensers not working or empty, many food selections not avail!?
Nice and clean rooms, great location. Will come back soon! :)
I went to the bar at the Hilton for a hot chocolate with the family.
The setting is beautiful and relaxing, the armchairs are comfortable, you feel good there.
The staff are helpful and unobtrusive.
Hot chocolate is good.
It's a nice break in the neighborhood.
Spent 11 nights here in January 2018. I'm a diamond honors member, and was treated accordingly, including a room upgrade at no cost, so issues of size didn't apply. The breakfasts were excellent and the extensive snack offering in the executive lounge offered a nice alternative to dinner when I was pressed for time (but don't miss the frog legs at Garnier across the street). The location is ideal, with numerous bus lines offering access to the entire city. The staff members were without exception pleasant and helpful, and if I specifically mention the concierge Nicholas, it is because I had the most interaction with him and found his advice uniformly excellent. Bottom line: the level of service and accommodation was worth the high price I paid for it.
One piece of advice for other travellers from Europe (I live in Munich): don't repeat my mistake of flying to Paris, take the train.
This hotel is a magnificent building and it was clearly well renovated whenever this was last done, however this was also clearly some time ago.
As it is a Hilton, the hotel is extremely expensive, so don't expect to spend less than 15 for one drink at the bar and set aside 50 per person for the room service. The place is also seemingly strangely organised. People regularly knock on your door to "clean" your room, but then rarely actually clean anything, its almost as if they just want to snoop around in your room. Coupled to this, the strange disconnect between the front of house people and the back of house people in the hotel (its almost as if they're managed by different companies and regularly blame each other for things not working) and you begin to realise that problems with this hotel run a little deeper.
The rooms are hit and miss, I've been here about five times and three times the rooms have been on the small side, and the beds on the even smaller side. If you end up in a lower floor room you will hear the trains till about 1AM most days so a higher room on the street side of the building is best. Furthermore, if they put you in a room with one of the small beds, complain. They need to get rid of these rooms but they haven't and they don't want to because they must have over ordered certain large items of furniture (the desks) which mean that certain rooms cannot fit king or queen size beds in them.
Breakfast was utter chaos, the layout doesn't help but the place itself is just under-staffed and the food quality was medium to poor.
Two star treatment from a four star hotel. Dont waste your money on this one, go to one of the Sofitel's if you want better corporate style treatment. Stay in one of the high-end hotels if you want luxury or stay in a standard hotel if you want a place to sleep.
Great location and an amazing bar area. Rooms are very nice and the service was excellent
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone is looking for a great accommodations and service.
Also, selection of breakfast items are the best I have ever seen in any Hilton hotels.
The staff members are more than willing to help and do whatever it takes to make you happy. The free umbrella service is a lifesaver. Awesome idea! Thank you Hilton.
Small but nice, nothing to complain for a hotel like that in Paris
I had a pretty small room, with a bad smell inside. Nice hotel, but not worth the money.
After several times request more, my wish to quail eggs for breakfast could not be met. This is not a 5 star hotel but resembles a hostel in the Sauerland. Very disappointing!
We stayed there for 3 nights on our visit to Paris from Melbourne, Awesome experience and great staff !
Very pleasing to the eye. Good breakfast and great location for tourists
The location is great if you want to experience Paris intensely. A harmonious package with the right room and the Executive Lounge
When arriving in such a posh hotel, one expects to be received royally. Unfortunately, with only 2 people to receive a queue of people, nothing could be further from the truth. The reception desks are a joke and are hardly noticeable, the service is ok, rooms were nice but lacked a proper outside sound insulation which is an absolute must next to the busy St. Lazare stay and to top it off, cleaning staff barged in the room at 8.20 in the morning without any notice. Won't be coming here again.
Great Hotel with nice design. Friendly staff... We come back...
Very nice hotel, super attentive staff, great experience.
Traveling with my daughter. I'm in Paris for the first time in 28 years.
Close to the Roissy bus stop
Very for transportation such as metro and shopping
It was convenient.
In mid-January, Corona began to make news
From domestic flights in early February to international flights JAL already wears masks.
Since it has lounge access,
I was able to have a light meal in the lounge in the morning and evening, so
It was helpful.
During your stay in Paris, at mealtime or in the lounge
I wiped my hands firmly with a disinfectant sheet I brought from Japan.
I came back worried that Paris would be okay, but when Corona calmed down
He also says he wants to stay with his daughter.
Thanks to the Hilton staff
It was a wonderful stay.
We loved staying here. Great location for the metro and simple walks to anything we needed. It is a busy area though, but what do you expect from staying right smack in the middle of Paris?
Pays for itself with access to many subway and regional rail lines and next to rail station with lines to place afar. Amount of money saved from not having to take taxis in Paris makes this an exceptional value even at the price.
hotel that sells us to taxis for the roissy
taxi arrives with more than 15 euro
take a taxi in front of the hotel
Beautiful building and quailty facilities..BUT...
Breakfast was average and not worth paying extra for
Service was poor - had to ask three times for clean cups...something you would expect as standard!
Small conference room, central position, a bit hard to reach in taxi due to the traffic
Me and my wife stayed here for her surprise birthday trip to Paris.
From the onset, there was great communication from the staff via email, as I had to confirm some details.
When we arrived at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised how lovely it is. The hotel is very ornate, the grand saloon is absolutely lovely, a great bar and live music.
The hotel is centrally located, very clean and well priced too. We had breakfast included which was very nice.
A special mention and thanks to Olivia, customer relations, who made our stay special and looked after us. Thank you.
The place to stay in the city of lights!
Super bar. Good wine, good tapas, waiters to care. I just love it !
Amazing hotel, good location, right next to station so easy to get to and staff are good
Home very cold plus you block 200 just in case ... okay room but very small. We wake up at 10:45 on Sunday ... just to remind us that we have to vacate the room at noon. And the well-being of the customer? Hilton at a discount ...
Very beautiful Parisian place, magnificent architecture.
Having a drink at the bar, or in the armchairs is very pleasant.
Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The rooms are gorgeous and breakfast is amazing
