My family went for my mother's birthday. The menu was great, the Sunday dinner option was amazing. They even had a kids menu for my 2 year old daughter. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and on top of everything, and the food was just incredible.
Sat outside on a sunny day. There was a chipmunk that must be be used to people and entertained everyone
Wonderful historical experience for both young and old alike. Wonderful place to have lunch or dinner with friends
great dining experience and the delicious food with IC CREAM with EDDIE the Bartender .highly recommend to visit him and the place
Thank you so much Eddie
We went to the Minute Cub munster and it was amazing
Fabulous meals start to finish! Eddie is the best...and so is the prime rib and blueberry pie. Wonderful experience.
We had our wedding here and let me tell you, it was absolutely perfect! Everything went right and they were always there for even the simplest question.
Went to a wedding shower yesterday at the Wayside Inn. We were in a private room and had a hostess by the name of Marina who was just wonderful! She was very friendly and so accommodating. We were all served dinner together and never once had to wait for a thing. If you ever need a up class restaurant with wonderful food and tremendous service then go here.
Thanks so much for a wonderful afternoon!

Gorgeous and romantic setting. Food so fresh and delicious.
Beautiful house gorgeous grounds very friendly and helpful staff.
Food was fantastic but not cheap. The venue is very historic and private because some rooms can only hold a couple family sized tables. Beautiful scenery in the Summer. Waiting staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Had an excellent birthday dinner. Service was great. Beautiful atmosphere.
Great variety of food and quality is outstanding. Service is excellent. Highly recommended.
First, it is both and INN and a Restaurant. Both are very impressive. The dinner was wonderful, service outstanding and very accommodating. Enjoyed the history, the tour (self paced or with employee). The entire establishment is on 120 acres of history with out building you can also visit and tour. Several pictures included of both the Inn and the out laying buildings.
Lovely historic spot. Nice for a intergenerational family get together.
Best team! Best food! Very friendly and I do recommend Wayside inn!
Excellent staff, very friendly and efficient. Food was awesome!!
Had a great time walking the grounds and learning the history of this beautiful place. Before we were done we had drinks and lunch at America's oldest tavern. Everything was excellent and we will return soon.
Lovely dinner, good service, relaxed atmosphere. Cant ask for more than that
We got married and had our reception here, it was beautiful! I love history, I love this place, I've been coming there since I was a little kid. I also love the breakfast here, I wish it was still public.
Food is good, but the location is great. Great place to eat in the fall or winter time.
Very nice atmosphere, good variety on the menu, delicious offerings and "the best" service....efficient and friendly.
Atmosphere was great, I would recommend requesting one of the smaller rooms for a date. Food was very good, the prime rib was cooked perfectly. The crab cakes were a great appetizer and portioned well.
we were there for paws in the park social events across the street.
Lovely atmosphere - it's impossible to imagine going anywhere else and having the same beautiful and historic background during a meal!
Great setting, friendly, professional wait staff, delicious food, yummy desserts
I hadn't been here in years, and today I came for a celebration of life. The buffet was excellent, and did not disappoint. It was as good as it has always been in the past!
Wayside Inn
Excellent food and service
Love the Inn but wish they would stay with tradition and their Signature dish of Duck La'orange. It's in their cook book but not on the menu. Very disappointed
Great food, great beer (the Wayside Ale is great!), friendly staff!
The atmosphere was nice, and the historic building and grounds are well kept and very nice. The mill down the road is also a popular spot for photos. The waitstaff is incredibly nice and friendly. They handled our large party well, taking care of both kids and adults with ease. We were there for Sunday dinner and the Sunday dinner specials were just average. The portions are good, but there is nothing spectacular about the food, it is good but not great. I was previously here for another event and the food was much better. I am not sure if that is due to the menu selection, or just the day I was there.
This place is rich in history and has a great vibe. A must visit if you're in the New England area. Super quaint with a great menu, amazing service and overall unique vibe.
Love the inn and the food.
Love the variety of events that are presented on the inn property .
Beautifully decorated for Christmas and delicious comfort food
We go every Christmas
A quaint and welcoming establishment. The staff are friendly and the food, delicious.
Great dinner and atmosphere. The waitress was wonderful, very thoughtful.
Wonderful colonial character. Feels like you've been transported back to the 1700s!
we were there for paws in the park social events across the street.
I don't think I've had a better meal in my entire 47 years!!
Everything was AMAZING from start to finish from the bisque, the oysters, surf and turf, even the bread and muffins for the table!!
Service was fantastic and the entire place is a gorgeous trip back in time.
Great place for fine dining. Rooms and grounds are historic. Staff is very friendly. Attended a private birthday party here. They let us bring our own cake and helped cut it. Highly recommend.
Don't know much about this place, could be great food. Just tried to have a surpise date for my fiance but last dinner appointment is at 730 on a Friday I don't get home until at least 7. This place could profit a lot more for opening later. Was willing to drive 45 minutes here.
We come here every year for a group dinner and it is always good. Very disappointed tonight. Service is very slow. They cleared half of the room plates a while ago but not ours. Still waiting for dessert.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Love the Inn and its history in America.
New to Boston and recommended by a local and it was very impressive
An amazing evening of great food and historical ambience.
Atmosphere is lovely. Food was okay. Wait staff was excellent. Did not pay so I cannot speak to pricing. Good corn muffins.
Amazing food. Old Yankee style cooking. Beautiful grounds to walk through. Lovely garden. Makes a nice relaxing afternoon. Did I say the food is amazing A big part of history. A must see.
Excellent service and you can't fake 300 year old atmosphere .
Very good food good service super good brownie Sunday s
We need more of places like this to maintain our history! Beautiful. Plants bring a group here soon.
Excellent experience, definitely an older crowd. Food was very good however the portions on the specials came up a little short. The drum and Fife band were a pleasant surprise.
This is a great place to visit! The food was pretty good, people friendly and the place was magnificent to explore and get a history lesson and even a ghost story! Great for family with kids!!
Very good place. Good food for a reasonable price. Very courteous staff.
Really a great place. Good Food, attentive service, and you feel like you are stepping back in time. Reasonable priced (still expensive) for what it is.
Great lunch and dinner menu. Ambience is very classic and service is fantastic. Make sure to make reservations if coming for dinner.
Perfect place for a small gathering coming together for some kind of ceremony
Excellent food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service.
Beautiful historical landmark run perfectly by caring people
Attended a private event dinner buffet. Great food and service in a very historic setting.
Another Google Maps amazing find. The food and service were impeccable. Our server Matt was very friendly and accommodating. Our starters were chicken satay with peanut sauce, creamy cheese stuffed mushrooms, and vegetarian egg roles. All were just amazing. Main courses were Vegan Risotto Cakes for my wife and I had the Complete Sunday Dinner of Our House Garden Salad and Roast Leg of Lamb. I took Matt s suggestion for the warm brownie and chocolate ice cream for my desert which was worth the slight $3.00 up charge. We also had two Apple/Cranberry Sangrias which were tasty and fresh. Plus, bring your camera and spend the afternoon as there are places near by to hike and capture amazing photos. We can HIGHLY recommend Longfellow s Wayside Inn for your next dining experience.
Breakfast is really good. Prices are reasonable. Parking is ample.
We had a great special occasion dinner! Food and service both were great! Loved the authenticity and the atmosphere there
My friend had her wedding here and it was beautiful! The food was really good! I had the prime rib and it was delicious.
Always love coming here...the stay is so relaxing you can disconnect here...the staff is so welcoming....bar keep Richard is totally awesome....and the caretaker Mark is so informative and a pleasure to talk with...10 great rooms to choose from can't go wrong with any room....
Food and service were great. Good place for a family dinner.
Amazing to step back into history. The longest running Inn in America and the food was excellent.
Always love visiting here, and the cider festival was great fun. Good food too!
Had granddaughters christening lunch there. Food was fantastic and the staff and wait staff very attentive
Before moving north to New Hampshire, Wayside Inn was our entire family favorite. My parents adored this
restaurant and my own beloved father was selected to add new windows during the rehab of the gorgeous historical facility. There is no place better in New England.
Very cool little piece of history to experience. A friend reccomended we dine at Stephen Anthony's instead, and we had a delicious meal there in a booth overlooking the winter scenr of the adjacent pond. But, had a delicious milled cider at the pib on premises, and walked about the property. FUN!!
My wife and I have been coming here since, we had our wedding reception in the main dinning room. You always get a great meal, and outstanding service.
Marina is an angel on earth. The owners are lucky to have her as a waitress! One of my favorite restaurants.
