Austin Ward, and the rest of the team at Long McArthur were extremely professional during my visit to Salina. Never once did I feel pressured or annoyed by any of the employees. Austin, took the time to listen to what my needs were, how I wanted the transaction go, and he adjusted accordingly rather than trying to fit me into a stereotypical customer mold. I spent almost four hours negotiating the sale and not once did Austin, or Kevin Sander, the General Sales Manager whom I also met, act like their time was being wasted. From the second I walked through the door, the Long McArthur team made me feel like they wanted my business and were willing to work with me to make me one of their customers. After the sale was over, they still called to check on me and when I returned to the dealership for some minor service with the car they made me feel like I was a priority to them rather than an afterthought since the sale was completed. I highly recommend Long McArthur and will certainly do business with them in the future.

My car was in an accident around Selina, and it s not able to drive so I have no choice but sent my car to this dealership. At beginning, they told me it s gonna be two weeks, after two weeks they said it s going to be next month. I waited a month and half, my insurance agent called me and said they have broken my rear window so pick up time will be delayed again. Another week later, my agent called me again and said they broke another part of my car again. I have to wait two months more for ordering a new part, otherwise they will fix the broken one and put it on. Finally, they put the broken part on my car, called me to pick up. I did a quick check when picking up my car: they did not take care of scratchs and small demages at all. I asked them to fix it but they said they need charge me extra money for that, or find somewhere else. I was really upset and disappointed with this dealership. I also asked them to fix my fuel cap, it was through warranty, I made two phone calls to make sure they fixed it, when I got there the fuel cap was still broken, they didn t even remember my asking. Now I had my car back, after eight and half weeks repairing, there are many annoying vibrations m and noises on my car. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. As a foreigner, I must say this is the worst experiencechangeI ever known in America. I hope owner of this dealership will see this review, make some changes.

Worked with Billy for a couple of months to find the perfect truck for my husband while he was deployed. He was extremely understanding and only showed us what we were looking for and within our budget. He even took the time to help with some features of my own car and helped install a car seat into my car. Best of all he found us a great deal on our new truck. Would highly recommend him.

So the dealership called and has tried to make things right. We are happy to know they are still a decent company willing to work with us. We are still sad we feel we were lied to about certain things by our sales rep. But we are hoping maybe it was all just honest miscommunication.

We have bought something from this dealership twice now. While we were happy with the vehicles we purchased we have not been happy with the dishonestly that went into both deals.
My husband bought a car, a week after he got a call saying the bank wanted more info before they could work with him. This is not ok! because of the paperwork mixup his first payment was late.
We decided to give them another try and went to trade our car in for a Flex. We made a deal with how the trade would go and started signing papers (this took 4 hrs plus we had a 3hr drive to get there). By the time we got to the last bit of paperwork we were exhausted (our two year old son was hungry and ready to go). My husband looks at the papers and it was not at all what we had agreed to (and had signed to agree on)they had agreed to give a certain amount for our car and were not keeping their deal.
The payments were still within our budget and we had already switched everything over from our old car to the new one. We had spent the whole day at the dealership so we ended up buying the flex anyway. We aren t very happy though knowing the way we were treated my husband feels so stupid and that s not how these things should go. Lesson learned on our part we will reread everything twice even after signing to an agreement.

Sold me a mustang from Canada lied about that and charged way more money for the car. Due to the inflation with their currency the car didn't hold value like an american one. Beware of them buying cheap Canadian cars and selling them for an american premium price. Chris if you read this you should lose your job. Very unethical business practices, I hope anyone reading this chooses to conduct their business elsewhere.

Went to look at a specific car we saw online, and were told that it was already sold. Guy asked if we wanted to look around, said sure, and gave him our price range and all that. He takes us to look at some cars in the lot and when I ask how much they are, he tells me he hasn't looked yet, but that his boss helped him pick cars to show us based on what we told him. We end up really liking a car similar (same make and model, just newer) to the one we originally came to look at. Come to find out, its several thousand more than we said our budget was, and he spends the next hour or so trying to get us to buy it anyways. He finally calls over "5th generation McArthur" who gives us a big spiel about how they arent pushy and stand behind their cars. Come to find out from this guy, the car we wanted to look at in the first place is actually still there. He gives it to us to test drive overnight (since its now really late). We end up buying the car the next day and the salesman that day was really nice. About a week later, the car starts making a terrible grinding noise and awful jerking while shifting. Take it back for service and they tell us there is nothing wrong with it, that this particular car has a "manual transmission" that just does that.

Never going back here.

I have purchased 5 new cars/trucks and 1 used car from Long McArthur in the last 10+ years. Long McArthur is where we have the maintenance done. For the first 4years we lived only 20 miles away. Then we moved 200 miles away, so I tried other options, but decided to return to Long McArthur. Long McAthur simply treats us right!

Exceptional service every time I visit the service department. I always am greeted in the bay and once I enter the door they are ready to assist me quickly. I have used the service department for several years and have never been let down. Larry always goes out of his way to take care of my needs and any concerns I may have.

My wife and I wanted to trade in our older Ford Edge for a newer model. I was able to make contact with the dealership via e-mail and text message to discuss some initial pricing. I was initially contacted by Ashlee Dyer who was very helpful for me and with whom I made arrangements to go to the dealership and test drive the vehicle on which we had our eyes. Ashlee was very nice and helpful.

At the dealership my salesperson was Darrin Smith. Darrin had the vehicle ready for me to test drive as soon as I arrived. He was kind and patient and was able to answer my questions. He was friendly and personable. When it arrived at the time to negotiate pricing and trade-in value, he listened to our needs and was very helpful. It was getting late, but he didn't tire of working with me and was just great.

The financing portion was handled by Ben Ashmore. Well, he was really second to none. He was so very friendly. And anyone who has made a major purchase will know, there is a certain excitement about the purchase combined with a fair amount of anxiety about a major expenditure. He put me totally at ease. A friendly attitude, great sense of humor and patience made it the best experience I had ever had working on financing an auto.

My wife and I have purchased vehicles before at other dealerships. I have worked with other dealers and have felt like I was being misled or "tricked." Or at other dealers that I should just feel privileged that they were even talking to me. Not so here! At Long McArthur I felt like each and every person with whom I had contact cared about me (I went alone on this excursion) as an individual versus just being a potential sale or commission.

I am so very grateful for how I was treated by Long McArthur and all of the people, even the ones with whom I only had limited contact that are not mentioned here, there. Buying a vehicle is always a big deal, no matter the size of the purchase. Long McArthur will being seeing future business from us.

And to be clear, here are the folks that treated me so very well, in order: Ashlee Dyer, Darrin Smith, Ty, Ben Ashmore and Kyle Davis. My hat is off to you. Thank you for being kind to me.

A disappointing visit. First my car was back to address the same transmission symptoms that it has had the other 4 times or so since I bought the car new. The past times it was covered by original or extended warranty, but this time it wasn't. To top this bad news off, for the firs time since we became a customer in 2006, they did not courtesy wash my vehicle, they left the paper protector sheet crumpled under the gas & brake pedals and the plastic thing they use to protect the steering wheel was thrown up on the dash. And I drove newly an hour for this service. Well not anymore, in fact I may shop for my next vehicle somewhere besides Ford.

We've bought several vehicles from Long Mac over the years. I found out an hour ago that I have a headlight out. Called Long Mac and since they close at 5:00 told me unable to install a new bulb. Asked about in the morning and I was told that they were booked. Not great service so I guess they'd prefer I go elsewhere. Hopefully AutoZone can help if not misting or raining out tomorrow. Lesson learned.

My experience with Long McArthur started with an emergency service needed while on a road trip from Wisconsin down to Abilene to visit with my Daughter and Son in Law. Roughly 90 minutes away, my 2014 F150 had a check engine light go on, and power seemed to go away. Quick story is, I called another dealership close to Abilene, and they were not able to do anything, then called Long McArthur and they were able to take the truck in, do the service it was needing and went over the truck top to bottom.

Basically, found a leak in the turbo system, but was an easy fix if they had the part. It being fathers day weekend, and a time crunch the part would not be in until Tuesday. The service department let me know I could probably make it back up to my dealership on the Sunday we were leaving and then have it replaced so we did not have to wait until Tuesday. So all in all, the first part of the review is the service department is great, and did all they could on short notice to help us out.

Then enter Michael Gadberry. As I waited for my son in law to pick me up, I was gazing at the new Lincoln Navigator. Michael walked by and said "you should drive that home..." as he flew by, I replied that we can talk and I was half serious. At the time, he was working with another customer, so I gave him my card and said to call me when he had some time.

Over the next couple of hours, we worked out the details of a trade in on my 2014 in which they gave me fair market value for, and worked all the numbers up while I was able to spend time enjoying our trip and visit with my daughter and family. In short, we arrived at a deal that my wife and I slept on.

Next day, we decided we still needed a truck versus the Navigator, and called michael that morning. We saw a 2018 Limitied F150 on the stock, explained to Michael the change of heart on the Navigator and could we come in and take a look at the truck. By the time we arrived at the dealership, he had the numbers ready, pre approval done, paperwork written up and just had to test drive it and agree to the deal.

At the end of the process, we drove off later int he day in that F150 Limited, drove back to Wisconsin in it and could not be happier. Michael and the entire team there took great care of us, respected our time and were more than fair on the trade in and amenities. I would drive down to Salina, KS again to work with Michael on our next vehicle, when the Explorer lease runs out in 20 months!

We have bought quite a few cars through long mac over the years and they are hands down the only place to go. Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. Our salesman Bill Rogge is always upfront with us and really works hard to get us in what we want with the payments that we feel comfortable with.

I contacted this dealership and first spoke to ashley and Malory. They were AWESOME and so responsive and quick. They put me in touch with Kyle, who got back to me instantly throughout our transaction today. We were set to buy another truck at another dealership this afternoon, but my husband had his heart set on one at long mcarthur ford a little out of our budget. My husband works nights right now and it is difficult for us to make the trip, and didn t think we d have enough time without him basically pulling an all nighter. I called long mcarthur and told them the situation. It was a no bs situation, I was not going to come in and do negotiations and this and that because we simply didn t have time and we had a good deal elsewhere closer to home as well. Kyle came through!!! Within hours we had a deal and we cancelled our appt at the other dealership. They were so quick and helped me work things out prior to our arrival. It was a seamless transaction. In addition, Kyle and Austin (finance guy) were great with our two young kids we brought along. I definitely didn t feel like this was an uncomfortable negotiation like I have felt at other dealerships. I also didn t feel pressured, they just laid out the facts and truly wanted to help us. We had a trade in that wasn t worth much and they went above what they reasonably could have and it is so deeply appreciated! Thank you Kyle. You really made this possible for us! Long mcarthur s entire presentation - from website to dealership to employees - is leagues above other dealerships in the area. I highly recommend coming here FIRST (as well as last and anywhere in between!) in your search for a vehicle because I am sure you will not regret it. Especially if you re coming from further away with two tiny tots and a grand total of 2 hours of time on your hands. Ask for Kyle!!

I had started looking for a new vehicle couple weeks ago and came across a 2017 Ford Focus ST that was newly listed on Long Mac's website. I inquired into it and immediately the next day I was surprised that Alisha had emailed and reached out to me about the car if I had any questions. When I spoke to her about a test drive and everything, she was very courteous and positive which made me more excited about the car. Going in for the test drive Friday, I worked with Mike Bayard who accompanied me for the test drive and answered any questions I had. Sitting down with them, Long Mac was able to make me deals that no where else could touch, and along with the great starting list price and special, I was able to move and make it mine all in one evening. Mike has been checking in with me and making sure everything is OK. For my first car buying experience as an adult (by myself), all of my anxiety and fears were put to rest by the great staff at Long Mac. I can see future business with them. Thank you!

Thank you to Rob Murphy and Lee in the Finance department for fixing up the warranty on my 2008 F250. They agreed to cover the repairs of the internal oil cooler and associated costs and made an exchange from one warranty company, that refused to cover the repairs, to a Ford Premium bumper to bumper warranty. Really, they did all that any customer could ever ask for. Great customer service! Thank you!

Great dealership! My truck broke down on I-70 late at night and I had it towed here. I had to get a hotel for the night. I called the service department first thing and they sent someone to pick me up! They got my truck in asap, found the problem and discussed all issues with me before tearing into it. Got it fixed quickly and got me on the road. It's nice to have a pleasant experience with a dealership. When it's time to upgrade I'll make the 2 hour drive from Kansas City to deal with them.
