Second time I played this track, to be honest it was in eough shape on the greens and in many places on the fairways. They are planning to overseed next week which could be why some of the conditions are what they are. For the most part traps were playable with plenty of sand though some were a little hard in texture.

Most of the fairways were mostly playable but there were many brown spots (dirt) and grass was thin in many locations. Greens were receptive and very fast as the grass was very thin on them. Green side fringes and grass around the greens in general was in good condition. Water hazards appeared to be good condition speaking from birdseye view on #9. Driving range was in good condition with good variety of targets and range balls.

Course was easy to find using GPS, Pro Shop staff were professional and courteous. Restaurant staff was professional, friendly and spent time ensuring we had what we needed. Food was very good and was served timely. There is ample parking available in the parking lot.

I will try to get back to this track around the end of the summer to see if conditions have improved.

Played ar 8am. Called the day before was not notified of men's league going off early in the morning. Waited 10-15 mins every shot because senior citizens can barely hit the ball 100 yards. Would not let us play through and purposely took their times playing. No ranger on the course. Horrible long day. Conditions were sub-par but the waiting just ruined the day. Won't be back

I feel like it should be cheaper than it is. You can play some other nice courses for just a little bit more. However, they do a good job of maintaining the fairways and rough. The greens and tee boxes are in horrible condition right now. Burn marks all over. The guys in the pro shop don't go out of their way to greet you and both times I have been there they have just been talking to another employee. The starter and the rest of the staff are definitely friendly and make sure you have no questions. I'll change my review rating once I don't feel like I'm interrupting the guys at front desk as well as when the greens are in better condition.

Awesome golf course, very fun. The only reason I did not get five stars is that the paved cart paths are dusty with small rubble and it makes your golf bag very dirty from all the dust kicked up by the cart.

Played this course for the first time. I really liked it. The fairways where great, greens well manicured. The staff where all super nice to deal with. The bartender in the bar was really nice

Best BLTEA I've ever had and I've had them everywhere! Ask for House the chef to make it and tip well. You won't regret it, it's time to live!

Side note or main depending on you: The course is great and you can't beat the view.

Great course with a unique layout. Most of all, great customer service. Greg and his staff treat you like a human being and with respect. That is something that I think is becoming less and less common amongst golf courses. I definitely recommend this course to anyone visiting the area.

I'm giving 2 stars instead of 4 because of the way the starter treated my foursome. We played the front 9 on a cart-path-only day (which obviously slows down pace for everyone) in 2:20. We then stopped for 5 minutes at the turn to patronize their restaurant, buying $70 worth of food and drinks (on top of the $300 we had paid in greens fees). Upon heading back to our cart, the starter stopped us to inform us that people were "bunching up" behind our group. We were shocked and relayed that we weren't holding anyone up -- we had waited on 7 of the 9 preceding holes. He dismissed our statement and indicated we needed to pick up the pace. We finished in 4:40 (on a cart-path-only day), and waited on the group ahead of us for 14 of 18 holes. I strongly suspect that we were singled out for this erroneous and unnecessary quibble from the starter because we had two women in our group. (This is obviously conjecture, but I have a hard time imagining a foursome of men being told everyone was bunching up behind them and that they need to pick up the pace when such an assertion was demonstrably false.) It was a 30-second exchange that definitely put a significant -- and again, wholly unnecessary and incorrect -- blight on our day at Lone Tree.

Other than that sub-par experience (lame pun intended), it was a nice course! The greens were a little beat up, but fast and fun. We played just a few days after a massive rain storm and there was standing whatever abound to the left and right, but I don't recall seeing a single puddle in the fairway, which is incredibly impressive. For the price, I would have liked to have seen something with a little more imagination, but the overall quality was about what I d expect for this price range.

My husband took my 8 year old son there to play. They werw paired with an employee of Lone Tree. The employee was very rude and made my sons experience the worst ever. He is 8 years and doesn't know all the rules but he is learning. The employee was constantly correcting my son at everything he did, even if he was standing in the wrong spot while the employee was hitting. Since he is an employee there he knew who he was going out with so if he had a problem with children he should of went out at an other time. My husband and son were so greatful the employee was only playing 9 holes and were able to enjoy the back 9. We will never take our sone there again to play. Not kid friendly.

As far as the golf course goes, it's pretty middling in a Valley with tens of courses to choose from... The design is nothing special; neither are the course conditions. Price is mid-range, as well. But have you EVER seen a set of photographs (Google Maps) for a golf course where the preponderance of content is ... cut up melons!?!?!? I get that there's a grill, but you have to be kidding me.

The course always looks like they're just getting it fixed, and for the price you can usually do better. It's a pretty fun course though, and I play here often. It's a course that you should include in your rotation if you play in the area a lot. If you don't play often or are visiting, I suggest you spend your limited time somewhere else nearby. There are some excellent offering in the area that are a better value. This course is decent though, and seems to have regulars from the surrounding neighborhoods that want a convenient place to play.

Just finished 18 holes with friends and really enjoyed it. Friendly staff greeted us when we arrived. The fairways were cut a little tight, but it was nice to get roll. Greens were fast and well maintained. Most enjoyable.

Course in great shape, staff very friendly and helpful and my wife and I really enjoyed the view across the 9th hole over the water with the mountains in the background. Great happy hour.

Highly recommend you play here. Challenging but still friendly with excellent greens. Aaron,Eddie and the entire golf staff are great. We also held our wedding here last Friday on St. Patricks Day and it was amazing. Thanks to Krissy, Pepe and the entire restaurant staff for making our day fantastic. No rehearsal and everything went off without a hitch. Thank you Greg for the using of your amazing facility. Ash and Lindy

It s a fun course, but for the price there are better courses nearby. It was still cart path only, the tee boxes and fairways were very nice. The greens weren t great, kind of patchy with some spots still being seed and fertilizer. Bunkers were kind of muddy in spots. The staff was ok, average service. My cart s battery light came on on the 3rd hole and started struggling on the 5th (7am tee time), so that was kind of annoying, but they got another cart out quickly. Overall good course to play from time to time.

Love the course and the people. Especially enjoy eating breakfast on the patio while my son is in First- T on Saturdays!
The restaurante however needs work and organization. They are always out of hasbrowns by 10:00 AM. Who is doing the ordering and why are they out of hash browns all the time. Also, if there is a tournament they close the kitchen to do the food for that so everyone else is left going someplace else when they get off the course . Really needs to be addressed such a great course needs a better kitchen!

Had an awesome time down in AZ visiting from Minnesota. Got the pleasure of playing 36 here one of the days we were visiting and had a blast. Course was awesome, greens were amazing and the staff all around made the experience wonderful. Check this place out!

Fairways need water.
Greens were very dry, burnt, and bumpy.
Good course for 30 dollars.
My opinion very overpriced.

Greens were nice and rolled pretty good. Otherwise the course was in ROUGH shape especially for this time of year and the price they charged. Would choose other courses in the area for similar price over this one.

Beautifully maintained course in excellent condition. Clean Clubhouse, clean facilities. easily accessible and fair value for lunch menu. As to the the golf course; the greens are fast, with pin placement done by a sadistic groundskeeper. Fairways in great condition. Holes are rather long, I would call this a Links Course.

Staff is really nice. I have been there every day this week and it is just an amazing experience. The food is good too. Pace of play is really good. (The par 5's are good too). Thank you lone tree golf club for this amazing experience.

Golfed here on 8/19/2017, and the mosquito problem was absolutely insane. Each of the four in my party had at least 50 bites (no exaggeration) on our legs by the end of the day. It was much worse on the front nine, but might have also improved as the ground started to dry. The entire course was sopping wet, and you could see small bodies of water that looked like they were breathing due to all the mosquito activity. I will say that the course was otherwise nice and beautiful, but it was seriously stressful to golf that day because if you stood still for a second, at least 10 mosquitoes landed on you at a time. At one point the roof of our golf cart was completely covered in mosquitoes.

The course was in horrible condition. All the greens had brown spots, bumpy & like concrete. On top of that we hit our first tee shot 20 minutes late because of a 7 4-man group that showed up 5 minutes before their scheduled first tee time. We were then the first group off behind that large group. That foursome was playing at 6,500 when they should have been playing from the ladies tees. Even playing 2 man best ball it took them 2.5 hours for 9 holes. We called the pro shop & was told they would send a ranger right out - NO ranger ever showed. After 20 minutes late teeing off & 2.5 hours for the front nine we quite. Good thing we only paid 20.00 for a 9:00am start time as it was not worth even worth playing for free....we will never go back. Please DO NOT waste your money trying to play there. Played on Sunday, 6/10/18.

Very overpriced. However The staff was exceptionally kind. And the food at the course was splendid. The course was pretty straightforward. The greens were great. Would comeback if prices were just a little lower.

Nice course and good greens. I keep going back time after time, it's a great golf course that seems to do great things for the overall play...drainage has always been a struggle when monsoons hit but even that has been improved over the past few years. The staff has always been "on par" or better and just recently played and remembered why I like going back each time.
