It's nice a recreational centre and their charges ...
It's nice a recreational centre and their charges are very reasonable.

I come here and play basketball. But sometimes the basketball court might be reserved. Other than that the place is pretty good.
It had a very nice pool and a fun water slides, there was just a few problems I found 3-4 band-aid just in the pool and the lifeguards were mean.
I really love going here! Most of the time there is plunty of space on the weight equiptment. The pool is large and my daughters love swimming here too.
The new gym equipment is extremely disappointing guys. Was my go to gym but due to the new equipment and the lack of equipment now ill be forced to go somewhere else. Not sure if the goal was to open up space but many machines are now missing. You can definetly tell whoever organized and ordered the new equipment obviously is not a trainer or a person who works out regularly. Sorry but there is no need for six cable pulls and why take out incline and decline bench. Not to mention the new equipment has different weight settings than normal, so be prepared to lift much different weight than you would normally. Also be prepared to use the Smith rack, literally the only way to to different variations of bench. So disappointing! Tax payers money wasted!
Good place for kids as the swimming pool there was enjoyable. The reception staff were very helpful.
Don't come here if your serious about exercising in the swim lanes. Business operation states open until 10pm. They close the pool area at erratic times to suit their needs not the customer. Today they closed 1 hour and 15 mins early. The life guards don't regulate swim lanes for proper use. Parents and their kids go into swim lanes while your swimming and you crash into them. Disappointing! I'm handicap and this is the only exercise I'm capable of doing.
Overly enthusiastic, underage lifeguards here. Pool is cold, room is cold... I noticed my kids weren t the only ones cold and shivering IN the water, and then we were all kicked out of the hot tub because kids under 6 aren t allowed?! Give me a break. Is their insurance really that bad? Kids aren t gonna let themselves boil in the water. Dumb rule. The lifeguard manager somewhat remedied the situation after I complained by turning the heater up a bit, but still a cold pool and a hot tub that just teases younger kids.
Also, the slide is only for kids over 148 . My above average 4 year old was a foot short, but she can ride most of the slides at water parks. Lame! Waste of $20! Easy legal fix: sign full liability over to the parents/guardians on arrival! Many easy ways to become a cool pool, and there s no way one of these tender feet lifeguards would rescue and resuscitate one of my babies better and faster than me.
Fun for all the family, they have a great waterslide and lazy river
it was so crazy crazy that I was like omg, but the guy told me to have a nice day and that warmed my heart and if he didn't say that I would give it 0 stars, so in conclusion Mark should be the ceo.
They don't allow children in the pool until 10:00 am.
It is very clean and the truth is that it is very economical to take children to the pools
Lone Tree Rec Center accommodates from Silver Sneakers and all ages; including free daycare. Check out their website or stop by to see the latest activities and schedules. I have been a member since 2016, but now I am a member as a Silver Sneaker (retiree). I like the aquatics classes...the workout in the pool really helps me for joint soreness compared to (land) floor exercises or weights. The instructors (Denise) is phenomenal...she is very creative with aqua aerobics using innovative foam weights. I attend aqua aerobics 3 times a week and I enjoy racquetball and yoga!
Appalling Management
Absolutely baffled by the current manager at the Lone Tree Recreation Center. My family and I have been attending regularly for years, and never have I had such an awful experience.
I was in the weight room trying to work out while 5 children (4 clearly under the minimum age requirement of 14 years old) were in the weight room messing around like it was a jungle gym and utilizing equipment improperly. Not only is this an extremely dangerous situation, it is posted on the wall that no one under 14 is permitted in the weight room.
I went to the front desk to talk to who I am assuming was a manager. I didn't get his name, but he had red hair that was balding and red facial hair. I'm guessing he was in his late 40's. I notified him that there were 5 clearly underage children in the weight room that were playing with equipment and messing around, and he did not care at all. He told me "Oh yeah, well I know them and they are regulars here. I can't tell someone who is 30 doing the same thing to leave, so I can't do anything."
I then politely reminded him that the sign in the weight room says no one under 14 years old is allowed in the weight room and that the children were CLEARLY underage and had no adult supervising them.
This manager then proceeded to tell me in a condescending fashion that the only kind of thing that concern him are "loud noises in the gym" that "sound like injuries happening." Wow.
Good to know that children or other patrons in the gym are only a concern to you AFTER something bad happens. Absolutely ridiculous and appalling behavior, especially from a manager.
The classes and instructors are excellent. The staff is pleasant.
The life guard so rude don t wanna to help ,too many rules and the funny one they don t want to get wet at all
Very nice facility complemented by a great park and nearby hiking trails.
Great gym that's extremely reasonable and welcoming! The hot tub in the pool area is a huge plus! I would highly recommend this rec center for anyone looking for a great place to work out and then relax in the pool or hot tub after a work out!
Love this place, extremely nice and friendly staff, a very nice place all and all...I just wish the water in the swimming pool was a bit warmer! Oh and in the same regard I wish the lockers weren't so freezing cold! It is a bit tricky coming out of the pool and running in the locker with a kid and freezing in the process! I hope they read this and do something about it because besides these two small things the place is fantastic! Oh and I love how the life guards aren't so whistle trigger happy!
Fab public bathrooms and water bottle refill gratis
Nice local gym, indoor track, swimming pool with slide, last river, hot tub and children's play area. Really great place to work out.
The life guards were completely rude! I tried to go into the hot tub and the life guards wouldn't let me. The sign says you have to be thirteen years or older to go into the tub and I am 14! If I was able to show them my birth certificate I would show them! I came here to have a fun time but i was denied that by the life guards. I cannot believe that when I repeatedly told them how old I was, they still wouldn't let me go in. They just kept saying "no you can't come in" and "oh no your not 14" Then after I left the hot tub area they watched me like a hawk until I left. It was terrible, my friend was able to go in but i was not. They just assumed my age based on my stature! Iv'e been discriminated many times in my life but this time was the worst. If I could rate this -5 stars I would. I do not recommend to go here ever unless the discriminatory lifegaurds are fired. Absolutely unacceptable and will not plan to come here ever again!!!!!!
Watched a child almost drown as the lifeguard stood right above him and didn't even notice. The mother jumped in (clothes and all) and saved her son. Then after the situation happened Lone Tree Rec Center LIED and now claims the boy was saved by the lifeguard and that their staff acted "appropriately". Parents don't take your children here!!
These reviews are odd. This place is newer, generally clean, and well maintained. The outdoor areas a great too.
My kids love the swimming area. Lazy river and slide for older kids
Terrible customer service. I came to lone tree to play basketball and swim. After paying to get in I found out I could do neither because the person who sets up the hoops was cleaning the closed pool . After being there for 20 minutes and being told I could not do anything, I was denied a refund. They did not warn me before I payed to get in. Soon later I saw people in the pool even though I was told it was closed. I was very confused and disappointed because Lone Tree wasted my time and money. When you go there you are blindfolded because you don t know what s gonna be available.
I buy the 20 punch cards and do an occasional workout here. While it's not new or fancy, there is enough equipment for a decent workout. I would vote for more free weights (there are 2 sets if 20+ lbs weights but only 1 set of lighter i.e. 7-10-12 lbs weights). The pool seems popular as does the inner court where classes are held and other sports played. Seems like you can make it what you want depending in age/ability/need. Being interested more in the weights and Machines I find Tues/Thursdays are less crowded so better for me.
This is an amazing place to go cheap but basketball courts are never really open):
Nice facility except the pickle ballers practically own the gym.
Great place to bring your toddlers to swim. Family Room is great and has a place for showers and diaper change for our 3 & 1 year old (yo) kids. Water in the pool area is a tad bit cold but our 3yo had a blast and said that she had the best time ever. Of course she s just 3 and haven t gone to Disney yet. Anyway, staffs were friendly and pool was not too crowded.
Absolutely do not have your children take swim lessons from this facility. The teachers are not good with children and it is dangerous. There is 1 instructor with 6 kids and they cannot keep an eye on all the children. Our 6 year old daughter was left in the pool in the lap lane by herself while the teacher went to go flirt with the life guard. I did complain and Brady the director was nice and my money was refunded. Until things change it is not a safe or fun environment for swim lessons.
I only use the pool here. It only has 3 lanes so that's why it lost a star but the water temperature is much better for lap swimming. It's nice to have a soak in the hot tub afterwards too.
We have been coming to the Lone Tree Pool for years. The life guards are seriously the best. I have never seen such young adults behave so mature and kind. They care about the kiddos and are seriously top notch!
Nice Rec Center. Great pool. The lifeguards are super nice and friendly. My kids love swimming at this pool!
Our family loves the Lone Tree Rec Center. The swimming pool has a nice lazy river to play in, a big slide, and a hot tub to relax for us parents. Great!
DO NOT USE FOR PARTIES! I have had the worst experience with this facility. My daughter wanted to go here for her 9th birthday and it was awful. It took almost 2 weeks just to get them on the phone to make a reservation (no online booking available). Then on the day of the party we arrive to find the pool is closed. They didn't even have the courtesy to call and let us know. Really unacceptable.
I like pools. There is a pool here. I can play in the pool. You can get wet here.
I have been a regular for over 3 years. It's a nice facility. Now, basically no one is wearing a mask inside the rec center (even though there are signs and they require everyone to sign in for contact tracing).
So it seems management is only paying lip service to the public health guidance.
I have now gotten a membership at another rec center. I have a newborn at home and can't take the risk.
I come here every Friday with my friend to swim. They do allow mermaid tails. I prefer going here than the Parker Rec Center.
This recreation center is excellent. I have had several occasions to interact with many of their staffs and I have never had experienced anything less than awesome. The facility itself is great with ample parking and year round operations. They clean up the roads, sidewalks and parking lots promptly after snow. So you never have to worry about parking or walking around the facility. They also have a variety of sports mostly for kids along with a free for adults. Fees are nominal and there is a discount for residents. The swimming pool, gymnasium, running track etc are just a few of their awesome facilities. This is a must go place for families with kids.
If you are serious about fitness go somewhere else. Recently renovated the gym and by doing so they turned a decent gym into a JOKE. New equipment is unsatisfactory. Many of the regular lifters here all seem confused as they try to make do with the lack of equipment. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I'll unfortunately have to find a new gym.
Great resource. The pool is superb for children. Staff are very friendly.
I ve been going to this rec center for as long as I can remember and I m growing more and more frustrated with it s sub par service, workout equipment, maintenance, and schedule. Seriously the schedule is ridiculous. Only one basketball court and 80% of the time it s being occupied by pickle ball players or a karate instructor with a total of 4 students. Practically no time for basketball! Make sure not to forget a ball because the basketballs here are either undersized, flat, or look like they were used in 1960 s Celtics practices. Seriously wish I could go to the far superior highlands ranch rec centers.
I have been swimming laps at Lone Tree for the past 11 years and for the most part, all is well and I am able to get in my minimum one hour swim and crank out 35 continuous laps. A few times on my days off mid-week, I am able to get in as many as 88 laps, about 2.5 miles of swimming in 2.5 hours.
Opportunity for improvement would be some better communication regarding when there is open swim for the public. The pool schedule website previously showed WHEN there was open swim, but not it is confusing, it only shows when you cannot swim due to programming. I wish that the website could have an accurate, easy-to-understand and less-confusing about when the lap pool is open to the public for adult swim.
In the past, there were swim lessons that ended at 7:15 pm on Tuesday & Thursday nights. All signage as well as the front desk reasserted that the pool opens at 7:15 pm. However, I have observed swim lessons now going until 7:45 pm, confirmed to be accurate per the lifeguards (in contradiction with past-schedules, signage and the front desk), leaving me one hour left to swim my mile before the pool closes at 8:45 pm, cause a bit of a squeeze.
Nonetheless, the pool is quite nice and most of the time due to few other fellow lap swimmers, I am able to enjoy having my own lap lane to myself . Both hot tub and pool water are at a good temperatures. Everything appears to be clean and kept fairly-nice.
All staff has been very nice and polite to me. I have great affection towards the gradual sloping pool as well, because after I broke my leg ski jumping, this part of the pool is where I learned how to walk again, in addition walking against the lazy river during my physical therapy.
If you ever remodel, would really like single-person individual showers with shelves to put my shampoo and soap.
The Life Fitness treadmills are fantastic and I greatly-appreciate the wifi. Sometimes I am allowed to use the search bar in youtube to find videos to watch on the LifeFitness screen, other times I am funneled to put in my own personal google log-in or facebook log in, which I would rather not get saved on the machine and risk another user accessing my account. Nonetheless, they are wonderful machines and great to use.
Of course the facility could be larger, but what I like is the less-than-corresponding crowds to compete with to swim my laps or use the fitness equipment. While there is programming such as AquaFitness and Swim Lessons, unlike Parker and Castle Rock, there are not swim teams that frequently dominate the lap pool and sometimes completely squeeze out the public from being able to swim laps too.
I drive to Lone Tree from Elizabeth, Colorado - passing up both Castle Rock and Parker Rec Center to drive the extra 10 minutes to Lone Tree, primarily because I am generally able to be afforded the opportunity to swim laps, which can be problematic at the other two rec centers.
Perfect spot for working out or enjoying the swim facilities on those colder days. Pricing is affordable and while some says its too small I have yet to see any crowds that really impede working out. Staff is friendly and the facilities are pretty well maintained. Plenty of parking and outside facilities back right up to the park and hiking.
The weight center is nice and is usually not terribly busy.
Just left visiting this place, and definitely wasn t the most friendly front desk. Especially being my first time there and new to the area. I ll be joining a gym somewhere even if it means paying more. Purchased a day pass and was only there 15 Minutes. What a waste of money and my time to be treated differently.
It has an awesome pool. If you have any children take them there
Both my boys have belonged to the recreational swim club that swims at Cook Creek. So in the winter they swim in the competitive winter conditioning class at LTRC. It is adequate for the price. The facility is clean and the classes aren't too big. The aquatics staff is a little young and could use some training in communicating with parents. But on the whole the youth swimmers really enjoy them.
Its summer rec league swim team is really one of the best in the area. Its parent volunteer management far exceeds other area club teams such as LifeTime Fitness.
Most fitness courses are great. Nothing beats their Zumba, Barre and yoga classes -- truly exceptional instructors. The main drawback for this facility is its size. The weight and cardio workout areas are cramped. Gym space is often reserved for pickle ball, silver sneakers courses, or karate classes. It's hard to get open basketball hoop time. And some youthful visitors will find the majority of users advanced in age.
The pool design is decent, but needs repair. The bathrooms in the family area smell horrible. The pool has an every hour pool clearing, swim 50min out for 10min, unlike the other pools we have been to, odd and a big inconvenience. Go with extra towels since you need to dry off multiple times. Colorado has a lot of weather that s too cold to swim outside, but cannot facilitate a really nice indoor pool.
Love the indoor track as well as the new treadmills.
I am impressed with the facilities, the variety of classes (including pre-school groups), and the friendly staff. The pool area is so much fun and my kids do love it (and I do believe in watching my own kids in the water anyways). The grounds and trails are a great bonus and complete the package for me.
The staff is so rude here and after reviewing the comments it sounds like it is a resounding theme. How can the folks keep jobs and be mean to kids. I m not talking about the instructors of swim lessons or any coaches but the actual people behind the desk and Managment here. I saw them totally chastising a family in front of a child and then again a teenager on another day. Maybe if they focus on cleaning their extremely dirty locker rooms, pools and machines, they won t have time to degrade children and families. I get it s hard to find employees when unemployment is 3% but the Managment and employees here have to better especially at the prices they charge for this well below par facility that has so much potential. Horribly managed is the main complaint. Give it a pass if you are thinking of coming here.
The water is cold! Children under 7 years old do not have a place to warm up. Chlorine is very much, my nose is not breathing and tears flow from the evaporation of chlorine here.
Great facility. Kind staff. Clean locker room. Great programs for everyone.
This is good place for kids and adults to learn many interested things. Outside good play area and in summer events are to watch and fun time for kids.
Good Rec center, nice pool, slide, kid pool, lazy river... Great staff, nice place for a kids birthday party.
They have meeting space available to rent. Check them out for your next meeting.
Good staff and awesome pool. There is some gum on the slide stairs and there is this grumpy couple that hates kids playing...
Beautiful, Clean, Updated & Accessible! Great Facilities.
Great assistance from staff. The gym has the necessities and there are usually some easy times to find very few people there (early mornings).
