Incredible, we arrived by chance and it turned out that it was an ancient pizzeria. Delicious pizza, the place is small but very cozy. They serve you from ten. It is a very famous place. And they even let me into the kitchen

Italian soda was all ice cubes..Um where's the soda? $4. Wow. I got margarita pizza , and it was basically sauce that made the crust soggy, slid off the pizza and some chunks of cheese. I came from Los Angeles for this. $21 for 6 slices. Not impressed. At all. Won't be back. I would give 1 star but the decor was cute.

Lombardi's used to be my favorite classic New York pizzeria. Not anymore. They've expanded yet again and with each expansion their quality goes down. It's like a pizza factory without a soul. Clam pie is their best though most will go for combination, margherita, or pepperoni. Salad is essential at Lombardi's. The caesar salad is actually good and downplays all the tourist crap consumed.

I told my New Yorker friends I wanted a true New York pizza experience, and we came here. It was exactly the authenticity I wanted! It was also fast and friendly service and a good price for lots of food. I will say that it's a huge place, and it was very confusing to find our way out after being led through a kitchen, an alleyway and up to what seemed like a covered patio to our table. It's also very old, so it's not accessible for people with mobility issues. Would definitely recommend otherwise for someone visiting the city!

Good

This is supposed to be one of new York's best pizza. It is so poorly prepared, dough is not fully cooked, nor fully covering the base of the pan, appetizer was pathetic. Don't waste your time and money.

The traditional pizzeria has an above average pizza from pizzerias scattered around the city. The full local tax but outside is lower than inside, so the wait for a table does not take much. Worth it!

Lombardi's is one of the oldest restaurants in Manhattan, and honestly, one of the best places to grab some pizza as well. Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't been there yet; this should be at the top of your list of restaurants to try next.

Authentic setting for this pizzeria more than a century old. Two downsides the slightly high price of large pizza for two, but $ 35 or so ... and the paper plate ... it's a bit ... cheap

If you like pizza, you own to yourself to go to Lombardi's and treat yourself to one here. The menu only offer a few items, but fine tuned to perfection. Well worth the wait! (they take no reservations in advance)

The sauce was good, but that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. The cheese is painted on and sparse, the beer was skunky, i cut through my (paper) plate trying to cut the crust, and it's EXTREMELY expensive for what it is. Since they've opened, thousands of other pizza spots have become available - give one of them a shot instead.

Classic pizza pie at the heart of the city. They are clean, wonderful service and if you are going to lombardi's I believe that what matters is the experience and they will give you the best experience you can get from a pizzeria.

Hearing how good this place was and then going there....was alittle disappointed. It seemed the workers were very rushed and didn't take the time to make you feel comfortable. The pizza came quick but the downfall was the quality. Was very poorly cut, I had to cut my own slice every time. They were very greedy on the ingredients and didn't put much on the pizza. The flavor was okay but not What The hype was all about. Going to Lombardi after going to " nicks pizzabar " I can honestly say nicks pizzabar stomps this place! The owner shows he really cares about your happiness and take the time of day to talk to his customers and cares about the quality of his pizza. It's a really great family owned place vibe.

This place has been around for a long time. Went for the first time expecting to have incredible pizza, instead I found it to be more on the average side. Although it was packed with diners, they seem to be more like out of towners. I left feeling like this place was more of landmark tourist attraction.

Nice atmosphere, little nonchalant service.

Too bad about the paper plates and plastic cups. Pizza was good, large, but expensive ie $ 25.00 without tax or tips.

Great customer service and neat authentic interior. Not the best pizza in town honestly and a bit overpriced. My pizza that I ordered was overcooked. The crust was really hard. Otherwise it's a good place.

Lovely restaurant in NYC with an excellent menu. Restaurant was nice, had a good environment and was clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive during our meal! We got a large pizza for $28 which was really good - I highly recommend this spot!

As part of Scott s Pizza tour. This was totally rocking pizza but very slightly behind John s and Joe s. Simple Margherita pizza. Sauce was very good. Crust was classic Italian, very good in it s own right, just not as delicious and addictive as fat-added crusts. A classic you must visit. I d eat here from time to time if I lived in NYC. Mad respect.

The best pizza i have ever ate in my life! I though it's just the hype around this pizzeria, but i was happily surprised that it's actually so good! The service was excellent! The pizza was even better than we expected! The only downside is that it's always crowded, but everything else is excellent! My favourite one is Old School Margarite!

This was a great place to visit for traditional Italian pizza. Coal oven thin pizzas, very simple and delicious. If you are looking for something traditional in a place with history, and a look at the classic old style pizza places, than this is it. Everything is separated into rooms that seem to have been added to the business throughout the years. It looks old, and it makes you feel like you are visiting someone s home. Their pizzas are simple, but yet have that traditional look and flavor that you will find in Italy, or very similar to it. Make sure you have cash $$$, they do not accept credit cards, for lunch anyway. You will enjoy the experience, and the taste of their food.

One of my favorite places for a more traditional authentic Italian slice of pizza. Nice crispy crust with the right balance of cheese and sauce. It's a margarita pie so don't expect it to be covered in cheese, but you can add extra cheeses as a topping. On the weekends it gets pretty busy so you can sometimes expect up to an hour wait, but it's worth it!

Generally, you order a margarita pie and add the toppings you want. Hoping range from $3-$5 each. A large pie with 2 toppings, 2 Italian sodas and one regular fountain soda cost us $48 so it's not the cheapest place. It's also cash only, but there's an ATM on outside.

Nothing special: nothing in regards to the original margarita we ordered was worth hi-lighting. It was a decent flavor but not worth the hype. There are Definitely better places in NYC to visit in regards to a quality New York pizza
