Eh..Had better! Totally over rated! Not a fan of the waiters shaming you if you ask for more than 3 toppings on YOUR pizza which your paying for! Like your commiting a puzza sacrilege if you want more than 3 kinds of toppings?! Gtfooh! Their snobbery is quite obvious! I found it a total turnoff! Not worth the 20 minute wait and long lines often seen there!

Good pizza, but overall reasonably high prices, even compared to other stores in the corner of New York. The store is already worth a visit, just because of the small winding architecture, but it is also very nice clearance of customers with paper plates and plastic cutlery ... Cozy Italian is different.

The pizza is too expensive, the dough is hard to cut, and there is almost no cheese. I was at a restaurant 3 years ago and I remember a better experience.
For $ 22 for a pizza with no extra it is better to go to a small local pizzeria and get a decent value for money.

They are so polite and nice here, it's $16.50 for the small pizza, CASH ONLY! They pizza is DISAPPOINTING, it just so regular, I think they make petter pizza at 711 I'm serious, it must just be hype.

If you do not go to Lombardi's Pizza and order a pizza, it was not in Little Italy !!!! An absolute must-see / eat in New York. According to the owner also the first pizzeria license in New York. You can taste that tradition too, I have never eaten such a crunchy pizza before. Cheap for New York okay - just under $ 25 for a large pizza. (usually enough for two people)

Overrated. It wasn t bad but I also was not amazed by the food that everyone seems to think is so awesome. They have good press coverage but that doesn t mean they re the best pizza. The pizza is good (nice light dough) but it s not the best.

The best pizza in NY and one of the richest I've had. In many guides they recommend it, when asking the receptionist at the hotel we also advise it.
Although there are always many queues the service is fast, they give you a locator so you can be outside waiting or having a drink at the bar.
The margarita base is one of the best.

Disappointing experience. The pizza and service were "ok" no more. Pizza served on paper plates. In my opinion, Lombardis is "overrated" and no longer has a place in the top 10 restaurants in NY.

It has the fame, but it doesn't fulfil your expectations. The pizzas are pricey and there is nothing special about them. Also, It's nice to go for a walk around the neighbourhood though.

Totally overhyped.... Did not live upto the name it has amd the queue you see... The pizzas overall were below average... The pizza had lot of coal residue on the crust and tasted really bitter... Pizza is not supposed to get in contact with coal in a coal fired oven... I complained and he did give a small discount... But the bottomline is that the place dos not serve good food....

Yes the pizza is delicious, BUT !!! I brought with me tourists to taste one of NYC's best pizzas and we paid $25 average a pizza, (which is quite expensive for a NYC pizza) our bill was approximately $350 , but to be served in carton plates and plastic cups???? Literally the cheapest cups you will find in the market. Like for real? This isn't a birthday party for kids, it was so embarrassing, we thought at first that they had something wrong with the dishes or the dishwasher, then we learned from the waiter that it is the new policy. How cheap is that? Well I was a regular customer, but definitely will not bring any visitors with me anymore, get your grandma there or order delivery but definitely don't bring a date or a visitor.

Great pizza with an authentic feel. Relatively upscale for pizza place however the pizzas Is worth it. This is a must see for those traveling through New York. Once you grab a bite you can walk across the street to rice to riches. All in all Lombardi's is great.

If you like good Argentine pizza with lots of mozzarella and great flavor, do not wait here. The mass is practically 1 millimeter. The cheese is by sectors. The place is popular as some celebrities passed by. Not worth it.

By Labardi's reputation I was expecting great pizza. The cheese and sauce was tasty. The toppings were the same as any other pizza toppings. But the real taste to a pizza is the crust. Lombardi crust was subpar. It was burned, chewy and tough. For the price of the pizza, the cost of the toppings made up to an expensive 3 star pizza. Almost on the same level a a frozen pizza. Anxious first time to try but last time. Sorry just told my experience.

Thought it would be cool to visit the oldest pizzeria in the country. It was nothing like I expected. Instead it was pictures of a guys face covering every inch of the place! Not exaggerating. No nostalgia. Ordered a split pizza. 1/2 margarita & 1/2 cheese. Pizza was subpar. You would figure the oldest pizzeria would have decent pizza. Nope. We didnt even finish it. Of the 10 places we ate pizza in NY & NJ this was the worst. Also, you cannot order a basic pepperoni pizza. I didnt have an issue with the paper plates & plastic cups but bad pizza is unacceptable.

Overrated !! The atmosphere was gloomy in the basement .. And the service was OK .. And the most important thing is the pizza ..tastes very bad .. Hard.. And tasteless topping.. And way overpriced.. Get a regular pizza from any corner instead.

We were super excited to eat here after hearing so much about it, but it turned out to be pretty overrated. The pizza sauce was extremely bland--like just simple tomato sauce with nothing special. We added pepperoni and mushrooms. The pepperoni was delicious but very small and sparse on our pie. There was about a 5 min wait for a table. The service was very good and our waiter was friendly, but the food was underwhelming.

Tasty pizza with very fresh ingredients. If you are a fan of marguerite or white pizza, you will love it. It's also a bit of history as Lombardi's claims to be the original pizza shop (though not at this location)

1. Service - Quick, friendly, & attentive.

1. Service - Quick, friendly, & attentive.
2. Taste of food and quality of food - Old & good pizza place in NYC.
3. Ambiance/decor - Cozy with modern decor. Not too noisy when busy.
4. Cleanliness - Looked & felt clean throughout.

Pleasant seen from the outside, we think we will feast. At the reception is a headset and walkie-talkie. We sit down. The ripe are full of photos and awards to the glory of the establishment. The menu, summary, is not necessarily bad sign. The customer can add ingredients for $ 3 to $ 5 per selected ingredient. Entry price of the pizza at $ 22, we quickly see where it takes us.
We say that between the price and reputation of the place, it can only be good.
And then, everything falls apart. Transparent plastic cup for a soda, covered in real metal but cardboard plate ..... it's a joke?
Pizza, meanwhile, has nothing better than other pizzas. We are on a restaurant cash machine, nothing else.

Old-school Italian pizzeria with the Vichy tablecloths, the casual atmosphere and the coal oven pizzas. The eggplant pizza was good, although the eggplant itself was a tiny bit soggy. Too bad some pizzas can only be ordered in large size and we can't do half and half. Service is friendly.

The pizza is very good but for a simple pizza it is way too expensive. They serve you on paper plates and plastic cups and you only pay cash. For the price they should at least use glasses. Not impressed.

Truly the best pizza I've ever had, the only thing that is perhaps inconvenient is that you can be seated in any of the areas that the restaurant has and there are some that are not so great. But the pizza is really delicious and the place has a lot of history. You can not stop trying it.

I am so glad I got to experience Lombardi's Pizza in December while I was on vacation in NYC with my mom, it was such a big deal to me as it is a big part of pizza history and I am glad my mom got to experience it with me before she lost her life unexpectedly in March. She loved Lombardi's pizza as much as I do, and I will be back there everytime I visit NYC.. Thankyou for the great pizza!

Initially it can be scary ... 1st New York Pizzeria, recommended in tourist guides ... But the first bite of Pizza "simple" mozzarella tomato we left open mouth! A pure delight .. crisp pastry, explosive flavor in the mouth ... I ask again.
We had 1 big pizza for 2, more than enough!
By cons no coffee or dessert after, they do not. Their specialty is PIZZA!

You go to Lombardi's to get what they offer you. Disappointed that the sodas we're not refilled freely so I bought a pitcher and if I have to buy a picture of soda at a New York price, I will not be 100% satisfied, the pizza was good but it wasn't the best.

Have visited one or the other local, but after all these full-bodied promises, from funk, television and probably bought good reviews, I was so disappointed that I am actually a star too much. But we say this is for the hot pizza. Otherwise, I can not say anything positive about this store.Pizza completely taste going on, paper plates, extreme handling, chlorine water and Chlorcola, in the US nothing new but here really extremely. We were very much looking forward to this visit, but such a stark difference to previous Reports and own experience is not yet untergekommen.Krasser hype about nothing.

It seems that this is the first pizzeria in the USA, so we went to test. We had a large pizza at $ 20. When she arrived, she seemed to have few ingredients: tomato, and very little cheese on it. But when to bite ... what a sensation, what a taste! Simply delicious. We had 1 pizza for 4, I admit it's a bit of a treat for foodies, better order 2. A safe bet if you want to eat a good pizza in NYC.
