Delicious thin crust pizza... went with a group of 5. One of the pizzas came out quite a bit after the rest of our order...they were quick to apologize, insisted on taking the pizza off of our bill and bought us all a round of drinks... outstanding service in a landmark location. Loved it.

Guess I don t know what I was asking for. A small dried pizza with a few spots of cheese. $22. Wasn t even enjoyable for me. Maybe that s your thing though. Service however was great so I ll give them 4/5 overall due to the service.

Pizza was amazing. Great sauce. Delicious house dressing. But $3 for tea and no refills? An authentic NYC pizza experience with tourist trap prices! Don't come starving as there's a wait.

Went around 2pm on a Tuesday and we were seated very quickly. Half plain, half meatball pizza was delicious. The raspberry Italian soda was light and fresh. Our waiter was very sweet and knowledgeable.

Delicious square pizza. Spicy pepperoni. Greasy, sinful, addictive. Walls of photos with celebs who feel the same about the pizza. If you're claustrophobic, like I am, then fuhgeddaboudit. Stay outside. Order to go.

We'd heard about Lombardi's from several sources, and finally got to experience it for ourselves. When we arrived it was jam packed with customers waiting for tables. This made us consider leaving, as our wait was going to be 45 minutes +, but we were really glad we waited. The pizza was Delicious! We'll worth the wait, and the service was spot on!

The place is really nice and it feels like a true Italian restaurant but the staff is staff is always rushing you. Very disappointed to be served in plastic cups and dishes, it feels like the place does not care about you at all!

Ahhh... the place is also cash only! (Welcome to 2016 guys)

I wanted to love this place, and on one level I did. The atmosphere is nice, the service great. But, the pizza, well....it tasted like a pound of salt had been poured on. We had three different pies, but each one was too salty. It wasn't inedible, but wasn't as good as could have been.

Lombardi's is a tourist trap and I was caught in it!

While visiting NY, I had to try a New York pizza. Thanks to all the solid reviews I decided to check out Lombardi's.

The two of us shared a small pizza ( 6 slices). We had it half white (mozzarella, ricotta, basil, infused oil, and no sauce) and the other half with pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage. White pizzas are my favorite but this one didn't do it for me. The ricotta used didn't seem fresh and texture threw me off. It was way too creamy to be on a pizza. Also, my pizza didn't have that nice crisp and chewy crust!

Our pizza without drinks came to $37 with tip included. Pretty expensive for 6 slices of mediocre pizza.

Everyone I talked to about going to New York suggested eating at Lombardi s, and I m happy they did. The place was very homey and had an old school Italian vibe to it.

The pizza was very good, but not much different from most traditional Italian places. We tried their specialty pizzas, and although they tasted very good, it wasn t as exquisite as I was led to believe.

Overall, worth a visit at least once.

A really delicious pizza house. It was a 100 year old tradition, and there were many proponents, and most of all, it was not possible to pay by card.
It is a good restaurant to visit in Soho !!!

The pizza was burnt underneath and the tomato was undercooked. Considering the price and hype, I was expecting something really special but was utterly disappointed.
If you are looking for a good pizza, I recommend you try another place. It tasted of cardboard, the crust was hard and the sauce was raw and not very tasty. The service was also bad.

Tasty food. My only qualm is that they wouldn't seat us until the whole party was there and the restaurant was half empty (we were a party of three and two of us were there). Service was just okay as well.

Authentic NYC Pizza at it's best. We stop here each time we are in New York. It seems to be a favorite among the locals as well. The staff are always courteous and service is top notch. If you want authentic NYC Pizza, go here!

This place is known as the first pizza joint in America. I was extremely disappointed in the food. Our pizzas were scorched and tasted like chalk. The prices were outrageous for the amount you get and everything has to be in cash. The ATM wasn't working but luckily we had cash on us. If there's a line to wait for, I don't recommend. The only great thing it has going for itself is gorgeous buildings you sit in.

It is a nice place to visit while in Manhattan if you are lookin g to visit landmark places. Lombardi's is the first pizzeria in USA and holds a lot of history. It's menu is short and concise but offers a variety of pizzas.

Lombardi's is best known for their thin-crust pizza (at great quality, I might add), but be aware that its cash-only! It's a no-frills kinda place, pretty classic Italian decor (aka, red and white table cloths, some Italian decorations on the walls). I've come here a few times later in the evening, usually post-drinks, and the pizza hits the spot. It can be a little cliche, and I wouldn't say its the best pizza in NYC, but its very reliable and gets the job done when you're in the neighborhood.

Good neopolitan pizza. It s the first pizza place established in the USA. Brings great historical value to nyc. The pizza good but u have to understand neopolitan style pizza to enjoy it. I don t like the fact it s cash only we are living in the time of Venmo ,square etc everyone can easily send money with a click from there phone why cash only unless they r hiding things from the irs is my only suspicion.

Pizza was very good, but apparently in the past few years they got rid of the large pie and only have small. If you have a party more than two people you have to buy a multiple pies now, which can get expensive. One of the oldest pizza places in New York. So if you're looking for an interesting place you can tell your friends about, this would fit the bill.

Went to Lombardi's based on a hotel recommendation and other google reviews. Ultimately extremely disappointed with the pizza. We ordered an original with pepperoni. We were provided paper plates and plastic cups. The pizza had minimal topping which didn't reach the edges and the crust was so hard my jaw now hurts. The bill came in at $40 for a single pizza and 2 drinks and we left hungry. There are many better pizzeria's which are far cheaper, much better quality and value for money such as Prince Street.

I've been hanging out in that area for a number of years, but didn't try this place until my fiancee's friends insisted on eating there. Quite frankly, there are better places to grab a slice in the city. If you are hankering for pizza in the area, I'd go around the corner to Rubirosa instead.

Great pizza. Will definitely return. The only complaint is that I felt the crust was a bit soft - could have stayed in maybe a minute more, but we got it to go, so maybe the box messed it up.

Unfortunately, although the first Italian in New York, so announced, he has no more love for cooking, and - it's amazing - there is no coffee or cappuccino. Absolutely avoid, if the mood should not be clouded !!!

The fist pizza restaurant in whole America! A must place to go, servers and staff are really friendly.Expect to wait at least one hour doing lineups without reservations. The place is kinda tight (it was a house in the beginning )but it really worth it. Try the Italian lemonade.I love this place!

We waited two and a half hours to get a table. Rubber tablecloths, cardboard plates, old tables and chairs. Poor quality meatballs entry. Regular pizza. Unusually high price for the service they offer. A lack of respect for the client.

Honestly its overrated and overhyped. The pizza is a bit bland, especially the white pizza. The cheese and sauce were not fresh. There are just so many great pizza spots in NYC that this is nowhere near the top..

The only pros are that the place is huge with a lot of seating.

The pizza here was HORRIBLE. Sure it's the oldest pizza place in America and it tastes like it. The pizza came out cold and the crust tasted like cardboard. I wish I could give this a negative star review but I can't. I wouldn't recommen this place to anybody.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Even with all of the pizzerrias in NYC Lombardi's is still a favorite. It's a bit small & always crowded but worth the wait. I DO wish they took reservations & credit/debit cards, but it's cash only & 1st come, 1st served. Despite the cons, Lombardi'$pizza is well worth it.
