The plates are paper and small water cups are plastic. The bevrages are served with empty cups with a large mason jar (unless your order a fancy drink or a beer) if you get water (they will refill it for free). But when the food finally came it was very delicious.

there is a small unisex washroom, it is clean with a automatic soap dispenser. For hand dryers, there was one cheaper hand dryer.

The service was good, but they fed us off of paper plants but has a sign that says use a hand dryer, save a tree so i would say thats a bit hypocritical.

They define it as the oldest pizzeria in the United States. The truth is that it has charm and tradition as such. We have been touched on a less attractive terrace. The pizzas were very good. The service was correct. The prices, for my experience are excessive for the whole received.

Overated for sure...! It's only "good" but too expensive and more a tourist attraction than a good pizza restaurant... If you are looking for real Italian pizza then you will be disappointed.

The pizza was very good, the wait staff was friendly and the price was consistent with NYC restaurants. Service is extremely quick. The pizza is ready and at your table in less than ten minutes!

I was advised and unfortunately went there to eat. Do you know the Pizza Regina? Here, from Lombardi we serve frozen pizzas at very high prices, a 14 "(a normal pizza from us) is about 15 $.
The table service is efficient, tipping is not required and the place is nice, Lombardi looks like the mafiosone of "Il Padrino".
Absolutely not recommended, it is a spizzico that has a thousand Italian pizza.

I was (unfortunately) recommended to eat at Lombardi's. They use frozen pizza, price are expensive, at 14 "(a normal pizza in Italy) is about $ 15.
Lombardi has the look of Italian mafia like "The Godfather."
Absolutely not recommended, is a Spizzico claiming to Italian pizza.

It took 50 minutes to bring us the pizza, the quality was very fair, and to top it off we had to endure that 2 waiters passed a total of 9 times to take the tray of the pizza, making us uncomfortable and overwhelmed while we ate. I would not return even if they invited me.

Very average pizza, not our style despite the positive reviews. Ticked it off the list of pizza places in Manhattan - would definitely not go again. Good service and quickly seated on a Sunday night.

America's first pizza parlour! Pizza tastes great, nice decor, cool murals, nice service. Cash only! There is also a great cake/dessert place on the way back to the nearest subway stop.

Excellent pizza with a historic undertone; however, if you're looking for a quick bite this is not the best option. If you're looking to taste a bit of history this is definitely your spot. New York pizza has many different versions and this is but one mere option. Its good, don't get me wrong, but you should definitely diversify your pizza to more than just the Lombardi's of the world your taste buds will thank you ;-)

A classic NYC pizza place that hasn't lost its roots. The pizza is crispy and blackened just enough so you don't lose sight of the coal oven it came from. Wait times can be pretty bad so plan ahead.

The pizza was way over priced. Had hardly any cheese and the flavor wasn't good. Just blah really. However, my wife did bite into a hard piece of plastic on her slice. The manager picked up the tab for our meal. That was nice of him. Better pizza elsewhere.

It was ok, I was expecting it to better. One toilet wasn't working so there was a line to use the one down stairs where we sat. Way over priced so basically your paying for the name because their the first ever pizzeria. Not sure thats even true but thats what drew me there. I think they need to catch up with the times, heck I only bought one pizza and we drank water because thats all the cash we had, they don't take CC. Any way, it would a 4 or 5 star if they made changes and wanted to make it the best but I don't think they care, they know people will come, spend lots of money just because of the name. The problem with that is once the old timers go so do you!!!

I could have been 5 stars. Pizza was delicious, service was excellent. But 3-4 dollars per toping? it is not fair. Most importantly THEY DO NOT ACCEPT ANY TYPE OF CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS. You have to use the ATM machine inside of the restaurant, and it cuts at least 3$ per transaction, veeery clever because most of their customers visit there only once. I saw that restaurant at what to do list for NY, thats all. But anyway, pizza was ok, maybe more than ok :)

Great little place in the heart of Little Italy, the pizza was delicious and I loved thei beer selection. We ordered the margherita pizza with pepperoni, and a Brooklyn Lager on tap. Thank you.

Pizza is awesome! Just the way it should be, thin and crispy. Staff is friendly, we came late in the evening but wait time was only 15 min. Would have given 5 stars but they accept cash only and the pizza is a little pricey, but you forget about that once you take the first bite :-)

Our first time here left much to be desired. The ambiance was nice and the decor was fitting. The best part about the experience was the pepperoni. The pizza itself had burnt crust (so much that it clearly tasted burnt) and the pizza itself was pretty much flavorless. With the price for a small being near 23.00 and 3.00 per topping we will not be back.

The best pizza I've ever eaten. Do not leave NY without getting a slice. It's clearly made with passion and love. The pepperoni was simply amazing, with huge portions and very friendly service. It's America's first and arguably the best pizzeria for good reason.

Lombardi's deserves their excellent reputation. We had breadsticks as an appetizer and margarita pizza as an entree. Brick oven pizza crust was crispy and delicious. Well worth the trip!

Pizza is good, but they don't serve food in plates (only cardboard plates) and plastic cups!!! They also don't serve coffee, and they only have quite a few sorts of pizzas. You could see the owner was around but his focus was on checking the employees instead of greeting the customers. That is not exactly what you expect from a family pizzeria.

Best pizza place in town. I get the pizza every time!! The staff is extremely friendly, and are always available to help. It gets busy sometimes but it's worth the go. I come here once a week just to enjoy the food. I would prefer this pizza over any other pizza place in the world. I highly recommend this place for everyone!

This is the oldest and original pizza joint in America. The pizza is solid and I am pretty certain it holds true to its origins. I know this place is probably a bit more tourist trap like than most NYC pizza places. We originally were going to go to Prince Street Pizza around the block, but ended up here due to the lines. The pizza was solid. The service was fair. Overall go in knowing it is America's oldest pizza joint and be satisfied with that and a solid slice.

My boyfriend and I decided to stop in to Lombardi's on our last afternoon in the city. At first my boyfriend was disappointed to find out they did not serve pizza by the slice but after we ordered a whole pizza and he ate 4 slices I think it turned out OK. The pizza was the perfect balance of ingredients. Not too much not too little. It was cooked in a wood burning oven and it tasted REALLY good. I would recommend everyone take the time to grab a bite here on their trip to NYC. The pepperoni pizza was awesome!
