Good service and the pizza is reliable if nothing else, but it s nowhere near the best in New York. In fact, it s pretty plain. I think this place is more of a destination for history s sake than quality.

I liked Lombardi's. It's worth a visit, especially because it's the original pizza place in NYC. Had the "original" and it was good, but there are so many great pizza places around that it's probably a one-time visit for me.

Nice service and atmosphere, but what do you really come here for the pizza right? The prizza is baked in a coal oven so the sauce and the cheese are excellent but the crust is thin and a little harder at the end, Overall it's a great place to eat , it's cozy n sweet!

Pizzeria in little Italy, good located in a corner. The decoration inside is very good imitating an old Italian canteen. Pizza is good but nothing special. The menu has very few varieties common thing in NY. Normal prices. They only accept cash.
I didn't think it was bad but I would try another place for a change next time.

Pizza good enough considering we are not in Italy, the pizza is very low and crunchy like a schiacciatina but there are two though, one: you can't spend $ 50 for a pizza, you got a pizza right; they bring you the pizza you have chosen and they put it in the middle of the table for them that is the dose there is no pizza for each person, not to mention that the dimensions are a little bigger than a normal pizza. Second, however, I take an Italian sprizt and some water comes with the red orange dye inside.

A very small but picturesque place in the Little Italy area. We read that it is the oldest pizzeria in New York and decided to try it. The service was mediocre, but the pizzas, although very expensive, were actually very tasty. What bothers us the most is that the store only accepted cash !!! It is inconceivable not to accept tourist shop cards.

Lombardi's was an underwhelming experience. The pizzas were ok and waitstaff was much of the same. The pizza had a nice crispy crunch, but was burt to the extent that it sacrificed flavor. The toppings were also very dry. The pies were way overpriced, paying $25 and $35 respectively for a margarita and clam pie.

Also, they only take cash.

Find another pie place. There are many here.

This place is the first registered pizza business! Wicked. It's known for coal-fired thin crust pizza.

While it's good, there are many other establishments that are easily better, such as Joe's.

Pizza is average. Super thin crust that the pizza falls apart. For the price you pay, I don't think its worth it. In my opinion, the restaurant is over hyped. Theres definitely better pizza out there.

Well what else can you say...the original pizza place delivers the goods. The pizza here is fantastic. The sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the mozzarella is excellent.

The pizza was great, but for 30$ is was very pricy. Combined with the plastic plate and the seating right next to the toilet and noisy kitchen, the overall experience was less than desirable.

I went here on my first day to visit NYC and it was definitely a good way to start my trip! I ordered a large margherita pizza and added pork and sausage, it tasted great! The restaurant was a little noisy but it was not distracting. The waiter was very attentive to our needs and I didn't have to call him over for anything. This place is apparently the first official pizzeria in NYC and with great tasting pizza and good service it is definitely worth a visit!

One of the oldest pizza places in New York. Order ahead for take outs. There is usually a wait to dine in. Small Margarita pizza can run you about $22. Small is good for a single person. The pizza tastes very good and pure. It s simple yet full of flavor

Possibly the best pizza ever!! It's baked in a coal-fired oven that reaches 800 degrees F, meaning it comes to your table perfectly crisped (no limp, soggy crusts here!). Get there early: there can be a wait even during off hours (on a recent visit, we arived at 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon and had a half hour wait). It's not cheap, and they don't take credit cards so bring cash!

I have attached a picture of their menu. The menu on Google is not accurate. Well let's see, 1 12"pizza + 1 beverage + taxes = $31(for 1 person). I understand that this is the first ever pizza restaurant in the USA, they have been here really long. But that doesn't mean you charge crazy price for a pizza. To be honest I have had better tasting pizza which does not cost this much. I also order Spritzer (soda) which was blood orange, and that tasted pretty good. But that pizza was hmm ok not so great.
BTW, this restaurant is Cash Only

Went here looking for that famed 'New York Pizza' experience and were disappointed. The pizza was fine but unremarkable. The seating was tight as people were jammed in, which made service difficult. On my next trip I will try somewhere else.
