Story very interesting. The guide Paul was very nice and entertaining. Would definitely recommend it for a visit. Maybe not suitable for young children under 5. Lovely gardens as well to visit while we waited for our tour.

This giant mansion, far out in Wexford, Ireland is one of the most haunted places in Ireland, and we saw why. We took our son to Ireland for his graduation present, in June and had the pleasure of taking a tour of the place. Loftus Hall was the one place our son requested to see, since seeing it on Ghost Adventures. It is a very creepy, but super cool place to visit.

Very disappointed to hear that people are being charged 4 to enter the cafe and shop.
We live locally and would normally drop in for coffee and send visitors to see the wonderful house, but with this new charge we would be reluctant to visit/reccomend. Please reconsider this ridiculous charge.

The tour was very entertaining but I would have liked to know more and also seen more of the house itself. Although there is an extra guide for the remaining floors but that is really too expensive for me. Otherwise, all in all, was very nice.

TOUR was good and the grounds are pleasant. However, the big letdown is the cafe. It's run by a bunch of teenagers and food is very basic and hugely overpriced. My wife asked for the smoked trout with cream cheese open sandwich ( costing 7:90 ) - the staff told her they had run out of brown bread and gave my wife 2 heels of bread and still had the absolute cheek to charge her the full 7:90 - shame on you Loftus Hall, you have some neck! I won't be returning in a hurry.

I think this has to be the best tour I have been on it takes 45 minutes Its wheelchair friendly too the cafe is top class the staff are so so friendly well worth the money brilliant I would give this 6 stars the history is brilliant and i did not know that the stirs case in the house is only three of them made in the world one in loftus hall, one on the Vatican, and one at the bottom of the sea on the titanic.

Incredibly rude owner who scornfully insulted us when we asked if the advertised kids activities would be opening soon. He told us if we weren t happy with what was on offer, we could leave. And leave we did.

We were here for the Halloween tour and were very pleasantly surprised. The house itself has some of the scary factor to deliver, but the tour itself was not particularly scary, rather fun and well done. The visit was definitely worth it

I ve wanted to visit Loftus Hall for many years and eventually did recently. What a joy to visit it and the tour and house to exceed expectations. The tour and tour guide were excellent I can not recommend Loftus Hall enough.

Just visited the grounds & visitor centre. Didn't do the tour but it's apparently very informative & interesting.
Star removal as the toilet needed attention, but hopefully this is a one off.
Lovely view also.

Tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You do get a very good insight into the history of the house in the context of Ireland s history and that was very illuminating. I don t know why but I expected more scare for my buck . Loftus Hall is billed as Ireland s most haunted house but it was decidedly Hollywood re-created scary, and the recounting of why it is supposedly haunted came across as more of a laugh than a scare. Anyway...I decided to make the photo as scary looking as I could to keep the myth going.
