Big changes. Can't walk into cafe anymore. You will be charged a fee for access. Staff try to justify it with poor excuses that you would use in the 90s. Even the group before me were shocked. Prices gone up also

Our tour guide Dylan was enthusiastic and made the experience so worth it, really amazing, and he is extremely good at his job, and flexible with giving tour guides and then you'd see him cleaning the cafe great work man xo

we were on the 16.00 tour our guide was brilliant, like being part of a live stage show, enjoyed every minute. She brought the history of Loftus Hall to life and involved all especially the children. My grandchildren want to go back at hallow'een.

Stunning building and grounds! so worth a visit if you have any interest in Irish history or things that go bump in the night! Recommend a guided tour as you get to see so much more of the property! One of my favourite attractions in Ireland's Ancient East!

Such a great place to visit. Tour is very well done with great simple and easy to follow Social distancing. The tour was short given the condition of the building. The guide was relaxed funny and informative. Amazing scenic part of the country next stop hook lighthouse and Templetown.

As a definite member of the Irish society for scepticism!, I have to say that the tour was very well presented and made funny yet informative and interesting by tour guide Colm, whose knowledge is excellent, coupled with a laid back, relaxed creation of an air of anticipation ahead. If only I hadn't become Lady Anne on the way! I would like to try the paranormal longer visit at some stage. I highly recommend a trip. Staff in general quite friendly and helpful

Take a tour of Irelands most haunted house so I'm told.
I did the tour and I have to say it was great fun.
Tour guide was brilliant and delivered her story lines perfect which adds to the suspense of what might happen to you next!
And after to settle your nerves there is a coffee shop which serves food.

Very small group. Sara was our tour guide. She was incredible. Very knowledgeable and engaging. She really liked what she was doing and was very good at it. Answered and asked lots of questions and shared her own personal accounts at Loftus Hall.
Highly recommend! 5+stars.

Scary beautiful.

Scary beautiful.
But the driveway to this majestic building is incredibly scary and a little intimidating.
We were the first bus tour ever to be in Loftus Hall, and since we were out of season there were no other visitors there.
Inside, the Loftus Hall is indescribable, beautiful and you just get goosebumps.
Also, the Loftus Hall is also good for surprises, but they have to find out for themselves in the leadership, which also exists in German. :)
* Little hint, they will feel transported back into the history of the house as soon as they have crossed the threshold.

Personally, I could perceive the mind that haunts the building, and I suggest to anyone to just close your eyes and try to feel the vibrations.

The service was unbelievably good, the staff more than friendly, and the surroundings of the Loftus Hall beautiful and secluded.

Very disappointing with this house tour. Went there with friends to take the Halloween tour. It was very mediocre. The actors did there best with a very poor story line. It was very expensive for what they offered. They could have done so much to make it better. The best part of it was to get to see the beautiful staircase.

Our tour guide Mary was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable of the home and its history. Shes a wonderful storyteller!! The house itself is amazing and definitely worth a stop! I'll definitely go back for one if the evening tours next time!!

Great house. The actors are very good and scary :)). You can also have a chance to be part of the story and one of the characters wich is fun. Ticket is 13 /pp . Tours starts from 2 pm till 8 pm. No photo or video aloud . I think a tour during Halloween will be great !!

Great place to visit, the walk down to the beach is amazing. We went to Hook Head afterwards which was breathtaking. There s so much to do in this part of the world. The stories from the tour were good fun and the staircase is amazing!

We did the night tour. Looking for a little ghost adventure. It was a little gimmicky but loads of fun. I wish we had learned more about the actual story behind the place but bc they were trying to scare us a bit it got lost. And they did separate us at one point and my 18 year old was on his own. He didnt mind but I did. Overall it was good but a long drive for a short visit as it was night time . I do plan on going again so we can see the light house and do a proper tour of loft hall.

Very disappointing. The tour isnt great most of the old house is dirty not scary. The guide didnt really tell us much about the history of the house and why it is supposed to be haunted. Wasnt value for money

Brilliant Night, we did the paranormal investigation night tour. It lasts about 6 hours and we had an investigation in about 6 rooms. Wrap up warm as the building can get freezing, coffee and tea is provided but if I was to go again id bring some snacks. Brilliant night led by a brilliant team. No history of the building during the investigation so if your looking for a history tour this isnt the one. Definetly spooky, and certain rooms sent chills down my spine. Perfect Halloween Activity.

My wife and i brought our two boys 6 and 10 in July. Despite the somewhat derelict but impressive house i became a little disheartened when we arrived as it looked completely disused. We arrived at opening and as i approached the car park to the rear i was relieved to see it was already half full. There is a lovely garden and the resturant had tasty food. We all enjoyed the tour even our 6 year old who was a little scared throughout but survived the hauntings. Go!
